Did Obama foolishly send the Navy SEAL team into an obvious ambush?
Here’s a very interesting (and disturbing) read on the horriffic loss of Navy SEALs in the helicopter shot down by Muslim forces in Afghanistan yesterday.
Essentially, was it the foolishness and self-aggrandizement of the Obama administration that gave the Taliban and Al Queda an opportunity to set a trap to avenge Osama bin Laden?
Joe Biden was the first Obama administration official to begin revealing the identities of the men responsible for killing bin Laden. Further Obama White House staffers followed, in the effort to curry political favor for Obama by associating him as closely with SEAL Team 6 as possible. Hell, Obama’s team reached out to Hollywood immediately and have been intimately involved with getting a big, blockbuster movie made of the hunt for bin Laden (which will hit theaters in October 2012, less than a month before the next presidential election…in just a giant coincidence I’m sure).
What if the Muslims, smarting from the loss of Osama bin Laden, just paid attention to all the bragging and name-dropping the Obama administration has been doing…and then decided to circulate false intelligence that some “high ranking target” was vulnerable in the mountains, so ANOTHER big capture or kill could be feathered into Obama’s cap?
What a temptation for this administration…one it couldn’t resist.
So a team of SEALs very much like the one sent after Osama bin Laden was dispatched by the Obama administration, and sent into what sure feels like a giant trap.
Did these men ultimately die because of the foolishness of the Obama administration, and the fact people like Joe Biden couldn’t keep their mouths shut, because they were too desperate to score political points for our illustrious current president?
Sobering questions to ask…but necessary for this particular administration.

How about this? There was no killing of bin laden. I think he died years ago from kidney failure. Sooooo, the principals that could blow the whistle just got offed. Or, zero hates this country and he hates the military and would like to see us ground into dust. Either way, zero is a frakkin prick who should have been impeached already.

In the back of my mind, I was worried about something like this happening ever since the May raid. Even if I was to give them the benefit of the doubt and assume they were operating without malice aforethought, I just had a feeling that the Administration and MSM would be giving away too many trade secrets while basking in the afterglow of the Abbotabad raid

You know full well there will be no impeachment…but all the terrible things Obama has done need to come to light before 2012.
The media won’t help with it, so it’s left to just average citizens on the ground willing to risk everything to speak up.

Mary – I agree with your comment that this is a grown man who will do what he can to stay in power. At this point, he has all of the knocks against him. Who in the history of this country can claim that he was there for S&P to knock us down to AA+, and AA- has high probability. Who can claim to have this level of unproductivity and high unemployment. This is a man and a machine that are looking to stay alive. I question every move this administration makes!

The Taliban is certainly smart enough to leak info and the SEALs are certainly smart enough to check info sources. They're also smart enough, as that article (pointed to by Tammy) says, not to pile their whole team into one relatively unprotected helo. I wonder who's idea that one was.
Then again, the Taliban & Co have been lobbing RPGs and such at our guys for years and just might have gotten lucky.
Or this "Op" could have been ordered by someone in the administration, completely skipping the careful planning that went into the bin ladin raid. Maybe the same someone's who came up with that "brilliant" Fast and Furious plan.
Combine loose lips, glory seeking, bad planning, maybe a Taliban "leak," a bit of luck (on the Tali side,) etc., and…
It's probably a pretty darn good argument for making sure that no one in the Obama administration is close to the chain of command.
My SO and I were puzzling over loading a vehicle that big with so many special forces. I have no military background, so it could be SOP, but seems to be a pretty bad strategy that has ended tragically for our best and brightest.
And this is all assuming that those really were SEALS on that chopper, rather than some unit that the Powers That Be are calling SEALs.
The important thing is to doubt EVERYTHING the Department of State and the Pentagon put out about this. They will give us a lot of phony assurances as they did in the Pat Tillman killing that turn out to be self-protecting lies.

How would a helicopter get low and still enough for an RPG to shoot it down?

Let’s not let the stupidity of Obama & Co misdirect our attention. The WH. has known since Tuesday of a downgrade; S&P sent them a draft press release. Suppose they hastily put together ‘a wag the dog’ incident and it went tragically wrong.
Now we have 2 major screw-ups for MSM to cover-up. The one they focus on is the one WH fears the least. My bet is on the S&P downgrade as they are already blaming”terrorist tea party”.
