Daily Doom Antidote: Monday September 24th, 2012 — Five Clues Obama is Losing — #MittRomney #PresObama #BarackObama

Posted on September 24, 2012 by Kevin DuJan // Featured Content, Open Threads

Today I want to take a look at a few things that clearly indicate Barack Obama is losing the presidential race (despite what you might be reading at HotAir or RedState…two sites that are supposedly for conservatives, but are being co-opted by “Tokyo Roses” who keep pushing memes that depress and demoralize Romney voters for no good reason; if these guys really aren’t trying to help Obama win, then I can’t explain the nonstop negativity at either of those sites). Over the weekend alone, I spotted Five Things That Democrats Would NOT Be Doing Unless Obama Was Losing.

1. Michelle Obama is out race-baiting, referring to slavery, and attempting to motivate depressed black voters by stirring up race-hate and grievances. This is not what a winning campaign does.  It’s just like the Democrats’ convention of grievance, anger, screaming and yelling, and celebrating the killing of babies.  When Democrats are losing, they take their focus off of seeming moderate and nonthreatening and give up on attracting independents.  Instead, when they are losing BADLY they direct all energy towards motivating the base…and the way to do that is to stir up every separate voting bloc in the Left’s coalition by WHATEVER MEANS NECESSARY.  Michelle’s out there invoking racism and slavery because black preachers are telling their flocks to stay home on election day to punish Obama for embracing gay marriage and being secretly gay himself.  This is being preached from the pulpits now, folks: that Obama is gay.  ”He’s a punk.  A cake boy.  He’s gay!”.  Blacks hate gays.  Michelle’s out there trying to distract from this, by revving blacks up with racial imagery to make them disobey their preachers. This is PURE DESPERATION.

2. Look at Barack Obama.  Just look at him.  This is not a man who looks like he thinks he’s winning.  This is the kind of look people have on their faces when they stay awake night and day wondering if tomorrow is the day the Sheriff will knock on their door to evict them from their homes.  He looks terrified.  He has no idea what to do.  He doesn’t understand why his old magic is not working.  The crowds are tiny.  No one wants to hear the old “soaring speeches”. Outside of the corrupt, vintage media, nobody’s legs are tingling. This guy is TOAST and he knows it.

3.  Jim Messina is now claiming “polls don’t matter” and that Obama is secretly winning.  When a Democrat starts saying polls don’t matter, they are losing big time.  The polls the media picks and chooses are all rigged to benefit Democrats. If things are so bad that even ridiculously skewed samples are no longer giving Obama a credible win…then things are BAD for the White House.

4. At the Emmys last night, a very loud contingent of people cheered Mitt Romney when asked if they’d vote for him.  Consider the fact that the Emmys are held in Hollywood, and everyone there is a California resident. In 2008, there would not have been a single person in that auditorium cheering McCain’s name. Four years later, the love for Obama is gone even in Hollywood ranks. Sure, the more high-profile lefties are still taking their pictures writing on their hands slogans for Obama…but outside of that bubble people are actually cheering a Romney win.  Incredible.  If Democrats have lost the Emmy attendees, they are in deep, deep trouble.

5. Occupy Unmasked is the #1 political documentary on Amazon right now.  It’s released on dvd tomorrow. People are clamoring to see it. They are clamoring to see The Hope and the Change, 2016: Obama’s America, and Atlas Shrugged: Part II as well.  Is there anything similar on the Democrat side of things in terms of enthusiasm?  Anything anti-Obama is flying off the shelves…but pro-Obama merchandise collects dust and is marked down to 25% of its original cost.  This is not what happens in a winning campaign. Americans are sick of the media’s pro-Obama bias, to the point where they are not turning on the media because of it.  The Left’s hold on power is crumbling before our eyes.

What else would YOU add to this list in terms of clues Obama is losing?  Chime in below in comments.

******************************************************

Must Read:  Via Doug Ross@Journal, an awesome collection of data to show your friends and family just how much economic disaster four years of Barack Obama has brought this country.

Listen:  On last night’s HillBuzz & Mrs. Fox Show, we interviewed a woman with a lot of knowledge of Ferdinand and Imelda Marcos to talk about the eerie similarities between between the Obamas’ planned move to Hawaii in 2013 and the Marcos’ family’s own hasty exile to Oahu from 1986-1991.  Barack Obama grew up in the Makiki neighborhood on Oahu, and the Markoses were exiled to an estate in Makiki Heights.  Both Barack Obama and Ferdinand Marcos had supporters and loyalists who bought (or are buying) their post-presidential estates for them in Hawaii.  Click HERE to listen to the show.

Take Action:  PLEASE help us find 500 more Republican election judges in Cook County, Illinois.  Click on this link and please help us get this article out to as many people as possible who might know someone in Cook County who can do this. These election judges could conceivably thwart Democrat efforts to commit voter fraud in November.  A mere 3-4% decrease in fraud in Cook County means Democrats lose Illinois.  So PLEASE help think of ways to get this S.O.S for election judges to as many people as possible!

Lookit This:  Obama’s only up by 2 in Pennsylvania, in a poll that’s still assuming Democrats have the enthusiasm and affiliation advantage they enjoyed in 2008.  Voter fraud is being combated in Pennsylvania, so it’s going to be harder for Democrats to pull votes out of thin air in Philadelphia.  I’ve been hearing that the Republican challenger to incumbent Bob Casey has been making gains in the Senate race as well.  We need to keep our eyes peeled on PA to see if Democrats start dumping real campaign resources there.  If that happens, then that means Obama’s fire wall will have shifted to PA and he’d have essentially given up on Ohio and even maybe Wisconsin at that point (currently, Democrats are dumping large sums into OH and WI…but if we see resources going into MI and PA next, that means Obama is headed for a true landslide loss).  I worked Pennsylvania on the ground for John Kerry in 2004 when I was still a Democrat…and we had real fear for a while that Bush would win the state.  And he would have…if not for Philly and the PA counties that abut New York state and are part of that eastern Megalopolis corridor from Boston down to DC.  Pennsylvania is the Zac Efron of states to me.  It’s a tease.  It’s like spotting Zac at The Abbey in West Hollywood one night, and then seeing him on the red carpet with some girl on his arm the next day. Is he or isn’t he?  Will he or won’t he?  But then in the end he stays in the closet and PA stays in Democrat hands.  Watch in the next few weeks if suddenly Obama starts making desperate campaign stops in Philly…if that happens, then it’s going to be a Mondale-grade loss for him.

Watch this:   But, hurry, before it goes away. People need to see it.  It’s not playing in theaters near 80% of the country.  It is not available for purchase on DVD or online.  So watch it while you can before it’s yanked.   Here’s another movie to watch online:  http://www.ourcommunistcommanderinchief.com/

Toldja: This is a personal anecdote relayed to me today via my boyfriend Justin.  He’s in Arkansas this week for a death in his extended family and is interacting with relatives he has not seen in a long time; a lot of these people are very nonpolitical and low-information.  They are good people, but they like their sports on TV and don’t read many websites, watch newscasts, or follow politics.  Some of these people voted for Obama in 2008 because they wanted to see a black man get a chance to be president.  All of them have black friends, and Justin reports them talking about how they wanted their friends to have a First Family that “looked like them for a change”.  Without being prompted to talk about the election, these people are telling Justin and anyone who will listen how bad a President that Barack Obama has been.  ”We need to fire his sorry ass, before we all lose our jobs.  It’s him or us, and I’m choosing US”.  That came from one of Justin’s aunts, who was “all about Obama” back in 2008.  I am hearing stories like this from all over the country.  They break down something like this:

* No one who voted for McCain in 2008 is going to vote for Obama this time.

* Few who sat out the 2008 election because they didn’t like McCain will be staying home this year…and none of those people will be voting Obama.

* People like Justin’s relatives who thought it would be cool to have a black president have decided it’s time to fire him because he did not deliver on his promises and they are not better today than they were four years ago.

* Many Democrats will sit this election out, as they don’t support Obama but psychologically won’t vote Republican ever.

* The remaining Obama voters are just the far-Left fringe, and even THEY are not enthused about Obama.

* There is no way this man wins considering the above.

Obama’s sole hope is that the corrupt, vintage media and the Fifth Column of “so-called conservatives” who pump out pro-Obama propaganda demoralize enough people and convince them to stay home so that he somehow wins in a squeaker; this requires voter fraud, thuggery, and intimidation to carry the day for Obama…but efforts have been underway for some time to cancel out these Democrat tools. The only way Obama wins is if YOU allow the Left’s propaganda machine to demoralize conservatives and breed Eeyores in our ranks.

Let’s not allow that to happen, honey badgers.

Ground Reports: Click below for ground reports from people coast to coast that directly counter the propaganda the corrupt, vintage media is pushing in a psy-ops campaign to demoralize Republicans and send independents to Obama (since “independents” typically gravitate towards whom the media says will win, as they like being on “the winning side”).

******************************************************

Dear HillBuzz,
My last ground report was from Bucks County, Pennsylvania.  To give you a little perspective, I live 10 minutes from the PA/NJ border and about an hour and a half drive to New York City.  After a brief stay in Brooklyn to run some errands, we stopped in Manhattan to do some shopping.  Most of our time was spent in the Upper West Side, which happens to be where all of the leftys are.
4 years ago, no matter where you went Obama t-shirts, pins, stickers, banners, books, and other O-crap was for sale everywhere.  From the small tourist souvenir stores to the vendors, the O-crap was everywhere.  Today, there wasn’t one place selling it.  Not only that, but not one car either in NY or NJ had Obama bumper stickers.  I don’t see New York going for Romney but I don’t see the energy out there for Obama anymore.
Also, a recent GOP internal PA poll showed the senate race against encumbent Bob Casey tightening.  Tom Smith, someone nobody ever heard of, is closing in.  If this poll is accurate, that is trouble for Obama.  Bob Casey is one of the few moderate Democrats left.  He is pro-life and the son of a well respected former Governor.  He doesn’t really do much in the senate but he has a name and is not disliked either.  I can’t see why someone would vote to oust Casey but keep Obama.  Makes no sense.  So if Smith can come within striking range, tie or move ahead of Casey, Romney will win PA.

I appreciate you mentioning that PA has a watch on fraudulent votes, when people speak of Obama “stealing” the election, I remind them that 2010 was a WAVE election and that the AG’s and Gov’s of quite a few “blue states” are now RED, so worry not :)

I had not thought of the comment like that!! In fact I cannot imagine that there was an underground railroad at that time :) This is a train nut speaking :)

Mooch has not one single clue. She is an extremely mean-spirited woman. I will be glad to see her exit the White House once and for all.

I was in Ohio in 1984 and there is that same feel that I had during that intense time as well. From what I remember the media were constantly talking up the incompetent Democrat who was doing the challenge.

People were quite happy when Reagan won a second term but the media kept up their constant attacks against him.

Dear Kevin – I absolutely LOVE your site. And thank you for taking a proactive step against the eeyores on our side who want to doom this election for us. We need more people like you – you really are a human treasure.

One other thing I wanted to point out – a friend of mine sent me an e-book by political pundit and analyst Michael Medved (I’d be happy to send you a copy of this). Basically the book is titled “The Odds against Obama” and while it is 200+ pages, it’s actually a pretty quick read. The gist of it is that right now, the odds are so stacked against Obama being re-elected when you look at things in a historical context that for him to win re-election, would be a feat like no other president in the history of this nation would have ever been able to pull off.

Take for instance the fact that no president since around Andrew Jackson’s time has ever been re-elected with a popular vote percentage less than what he was elected with the first time around. Even the “reviled” George W. Bush not only won a significantly larger number of votes, but even a larger number of states. We already know all the McCain states, as well as IN and NC have fallen into Romney’s hands. IA, CO, and NH are starting to slip away, and I would love to know how OH, VA and FL are doing. But even with the latter 3, that would mean that Obama would have to win re-election with less than 50% of the states supporting him.

Put another way to all the eeyores out there – everyone and their brother knows of someone who voted for Obama in 2008 but is not going to vote for him this time. How many know of someone who didn’t vote for him last time but is planning to now? EXACTLY!

Keep up the great work, and if you or any of your readers could provide good ground work to show that OH, FL and VA are moving into or are solidly in the Romney camp, that’d be great.

    Cheers!

Have a friend who lives in an area In New York where the road leads to old money. It’s hanity, billy joel country.

He lived in DC for a while and was like a little kid when he’d see presidential motorcades. But those were easy to know, they are huge. He liked to be able to guess whose motorcade was slowing him down when it wasn’t the president, and he loved being right.

Last night he was filling his tank when he began hearing sirens, he looked up and saw flashing lights from the local and county police and then the motorcade came into view. According to him, it had three black SUV’s with the windows open. Apparently, “with the windows open” means that the SS is ready. He knew it wasn’t the president but the fact that the SS was ready made him wonder who it was. Was it Joe? Was it mitt or paul? By the time he finished filling up his tank and drove down each of the only two “roads to money” they could have taken, they were gone, he couldn’t find them.

So, who was on LI last night and were they trying to raise money?

OMG! Could these people BE any dumber and more ill-informed? More and more I think there should be some sort of examination required in order to be able to vote. Neal Boortz thinks you should AT LEAST pay income taxes in order to be able to vote. Of course, if Neal’s whole Fair Tax ever comes to pass, we’d have think of something else as the minimum threshold of voting.

I will admit, however, when I listen to some of my neighbors who are conservative, they aren’t any smarter…

As usual Kevin, you are dead on. Just the fact that the dems are now bad mouthing the polls tells you they scared. They know that there is no excitement in their campaign. While the republican’s are energized by the reality of what Obama could do with another four years.

Energy wins elections, Obama has done nothing to preserve the 2008 enthusiasm. It’s gone, his administration killed it. The media will keep offering cropped photos and faked polls, but that’s not going to produce the kind of numbers they need on election day.

Romney made one mis-step by speaking the truth about Benghazi, it was too soon, bad form. The press ate it up. They all blasted it out and guess what? It didn’t get traction.

Obama has made numerous major mistakes over the same period. The press ignored them all, WE all need to keep doing the job they won’t. Time to get a fire in our bellies. Argue Obama’s accomplishments. That should do it.

Can you handle good news? The Minneapolis RED Star and Tribune just published this poll.

    Obama +9 (Oh scary!)

The internals for the poll are = 45.4% Democrat / 31% Independent / 28% Republican.

Taking into account that Minnesota democrats really out number republicans by only 6%, and only 15% of MN voters identify themselves as independents. (Yes, they admitted they over polled dems by 17 points and independents by 100%!)

This poll may be the most gymnastic attempt in US history to create a faked poll. Behold, how far the press will go for their candidate. Feel better now? Tell your friends.

That, plus the fact that the campaign has been sending three time losing gubernatorial candidate and Milwaukee Mayor Tom Barrett around the country to campaign for the president and fire people up should say something too …

… this is the Tom Barrett who was hand-picked by former Gov. Jim Doyle and the president to run for Gov. in 2010. (He ran for the first time in 2002.)

… this is the Tom Barrett who ran for Gov. in the recall election, and for whom the president was too busy to campaign for him (although he had time to go to IL and MN for fundraisers), but sent this neato tweet the night before the recall: http://ironicsurrealism.com/files/2012/06/Barack-Obama-Tom-Barrett-support-tweet.jpg

… this is the Tom Barrett whose city has a 30 percent poverty rate (http://www.jsonline.com/news/milwaukee/city-poverty-rate-stands-at-294-0o6u31a-170447236.html) but yet is pushing forward with his downtown trolley, which will go in a 2 mile circle and currently stands to cost $100M.

So the mayor continuing to campaign for this administration must be starting to come across more like this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qdFLPn30dvQ

Sorry Honey Badgers the coffee has not kicked in yet.

Correction the poll was actually over polled as follows:

    The polls internals were 41% democrat / 31% independent / 28% republican.

Actual MN voter breakdown is 45.4% democrat / 15% independent / 39.6% republican.

So they under polled republicans by more than a 1/3, and over polled independents by 100%.

    Please accept my apologies.

“If you make a donation right now, every cent of it will be used to make this campaign better, and believe me, we’ll use it effectively. I know that because my job is to make sure no one’s donation is spent without careful thought and planning.

I know $15 buys buttons, bumper stickers, and yards signs for a local campaign office for a month, and $75 keeps one more phone up and running for a month — helping volunteers make thousands of more calls to voters likely to join our side.

So if you ever worry that your $5 or $15 is just a drop in the bucket of some big fundraising machine, let me just say: We track every dollar that comes in, and every dollar counts.”

I can’t help but wonder about this campaign email from Ann Marie Habershaw. It seems that sending out an email like this will produce more questions than answers. I’ll leave it to you guys, everyone here is smart.

Great post Kevin, keep up the good work!

Your second point is very important. Bath house Barry has all but resigned from the job. He is clearly uninterested in being president. When Americans die overseas in terrorist attacks, a real leader does his job and takes care of business in Washington. BHO would rather party with the beautiful people.

When our closest ally in the middle east is being threatened with obliteration, a real ally meets with their leader. BHO would rather speak to his base via Letterman, the View, and Entertainment magazine.

When he is off the telepromter his inner communist comes out. You didn’t build that? America is a right-of-center nation, we don’t want to hear this stuff. Most of us still believe in the American dream of working hard and playing hard. Not this government controls our lives garbage.

Watch any of his speeches from this year, particularly the DNC speech. Everything is a rehash of 2008, except the fire in his belly is clearly gone. The applause lines are flat, because we’ve heard it all before. He doesn’t even believe himself any more. I think he has that sweet Hawaii mansion in mind.

Keep up the good work patriots, we are winning this election.

Obama bombed on univision, – he was shown to be naked – and his 60 Minutes interview yesterday was filled with gaffes like how our dead ambassador and seals are “bumps” in the road. Multiple gaffes and Romney is already hammering him. He does look like he’s given up.

Personally, I think getting beat up by Romney is starting to affect him – he’s used to white glove treatment and respect. His ego is too frail for this. He goes to those Hollywood fundraisers to make himself feel better – the adoration is like a drug to him No way was he going to skip a fund raiser just because 20 of our consulates and embassies were being attacked around the world and 4 US employees had been brutally murdered. That’s when he needed people to be fawning all over him the most. It wasn’t just the money. He’s cracking.

I’ve been having this same argument with a few of the ancients at Free Republic (offline). They don’t understand that being a conservative is a political philosophy. Just that nothing more. Expanding the term to cover every aspect of one’s life boarders on fanaticism. Expecting every conservative to be cut from the same cloth is myopic and bigoted. It is one of the reasons are not a larger voice. We limit ourselves. I am sure there are tons of people who would embrace conservatism if they were assured that it is just about your relationship with government, and not who you love or what god you worship.

I talked to my Dad last night who lives in Florida. He said that while he was out, a robo pollster called and he heard the message on the answering machine when he got home. It said “push 1 if you are voting for Obama, push 2 if you are voting for Romney. Silence. How likely are you to change your vote for Obama……What is your main reason for voting for Obama?…..” There were a couple of follow up questions that made him believe they defaulted his no-answer to a vote for Obama. Is he really ahead in Florida?

On another note, had a depressing conversation with an elderly in-law who says she is voting for O because Romney is going to take away her Medicare and SS. She doesn’t have cable or satellite TV, or a computer, and apparently, this is all she knows, what ABC tells her.

    6. The malpractice media are compelled to protect Obama from himself. If he were winning chances are that some news would break through the barricade about the ME, etc. That relentless focus to edit out his errors and manipulate negative Romney headlines is panic driven. They are just as aware as we are about the heavy D skewing of the polls, and they are scared.

    7. Tone and tenor of Obamabots like Ge0ffrey above. Nothing substantive to say to refute Kevin’s post, just a mindless personal attack to derail the discussion. This is what we expect from those who can’t walk and chew gum at the same time – projection. BTW – epic fail there Ge0ffrey. Rudeness is a poor substitute for reason.

    8. Obama has always used underhanded techniques to defeat or kick opposition off the ballot. He’s never faced a serious contender, and even the Fifth Column Palace Guard Media can’t protect him anymore from criticism. He’s so unaccustomed to a real brawl, this particular bully is going to bolt intellectually, and run “home to mama”, which for him is anti-Capitalist, pro-Muslim rhetoric. That’s what his mama taught him. These are not gaffes, this is his bare basic programming. Insecurity will always drive him there. He’s losing – yes, look at him – but listen to him too. What a loser! Isn’t it possible that he doesn’t want any more of this? He seems that way to me. Like Cary Grant’s self-deprecating joke “Even I want to be Cary Grant.” It’s a miserable thing to live in one’s own shadow.

Another reason why Obama is going to lose: The Middle East

For the first time since Carter was President the US has a situation in the ME that is out of control. Sure there have been a few wars and dust ups, but this is serious folks.

What really matters is the fact that the White House lied about the terrorist attack in Benghazi. In fact they lied about the terrorist attack in Ft. Hood. Even CNN reported the statements from the Libyan President. They also reported his apology for what took place. Yet Obama and his Administration insisted on claiming that it was all about a video.

Here are my up to date thoughts on the subject of that video: I do not know who put up the money for that extremely poor production. I do not know who did the voiceover. The fact is that the original name of the documentary was Desert Warriors. It was meant to be a documentary about Muslims, not Mohammed. What stands out to me is that an imam went on Egypt TV and played the thing with Arabic subtitles. This is where there is bound to be more fiddling with the “script”. My question on all of this is whether or not this was supposed to be the September/October surprise. I actually suspect that Obama wanted a crisis because the incumbent President has normally fared well in response to a ME crisis – the problem however, is in fact the lack of response.

As it fitlers out, how many will feel total disgust that Obama knew that the consulate in Benghazi was under siege and he went to bed. If that hit the news as it should then the outcome of the election should be a foregone conclusion.

Fox is going down the drain this year mindlessly regurgitating what ever in the MSM polls without looking at the internals. Total joke.

Getting back to facts instead of the whining of the RINO’s.

Over at the campaign spot @ Nat Review Geraghty. point to sarticles document the large number of people who are dropping their dem registered Status:

“announcing that there are now roughly 20,000 more registered Republicans in Iowa than registered Democrats – suggests that Hawkeye state Republicans can crow about a dramatic turnaround, pointing out that back in January 2009, Iowa Democrats enjoyed a 110,000 voter registration advantage.

In terms of how many voters are registered with each major party, Democrats continue to hold advantages in several key swing states, but in all of those states, their advantage is considerably smaller than it was in 2008.

In Florida, as of last month there are 4,627,929 registered Democrats and 4,173,177 registered Republicans, which amounts to a a 454,752-voter advantage for Democrats. (Keep in mind, Florida has 11.5 million registered voters, so there are a lot of unaffiliated and third-party voters.)

In 2008, there were 4,800,890 registered Democrats in Florida and only 4,106,743 registered Republicans, a 694,147-voter advantage. So while the number of voters who registered with the GOP is up from four years ago, Democrats are down roughly 170,000.”

More on the FACTS from NV, NM, NC & PA. at the link:
    http://www.nationalreview.com/campaign-spot/328401/democrats-advantage-voter-registration-slipping-key-states#

As far back as April Politico of all site reporter that dem registration had dropped 800,000 in 8 battleground states over the past few years.

don’t buy the pessimism from the RINO whiners.

I love the part where you said, “No they don’t!”.

This is SO how conversations go here with Justin and me.

He is the nicest guy and never wants to make anyone mad. And I am, well, me. I hate the neighbors downstairs because they are terrible and they are always doing something stupid. Justin always tries to tell me they aren’t doing any of it on purpose and I’m all about insisting “They need to stop!”. It’s so funny.

We are forever Good Cop/Abrasive Cop.

Heard Selena Zito of the Pittsburgh Post Gazette on a radio program. She was asked about Pennsylvania. Apparently, in the last two weeks she’s been on this program and must have been saying that Romney was going to win Pennsylvania. There was another guest who chided her because suddenly tonight she was unwilling to say he was going to win there. The other guest was not happy with her since she suddenly changed her tune. But, in the 2010 midterms she really knew her stuff and was right when others were wrong. Her final pronouncement was that it was going to be “very, very close”.

I would love to see her proven wrong.

Thanks for this. I’m going to try to book her as a radio guest for next week to hear more.

I just received the 11th email in under 4 days soliciting a $5 donation to have dinner with “My friend Barack”. They can’t get people to participate!!
