Colin Powell is A Racist. Yah, I Said It.
So, Colin Powell proved today he’s a racist…by endorsing a candidate for president just because of that person’s skin color.
Powell backed Obama in 2008, but prior to today he could have just claimed he was caught up in all that hysteria of “The Hopeychange Fad” that swept the nation four years ago and rendered even adult males like him nothing more than pre-teen girls squealing with hormonal delight at a New Kids on the Block concert while clutching their Cabbage Patch Kids and Beanie Babies for dear life (because they will be worth so much to collectors some day!).
Powell said in his 2012 endorsement that he backs Obama because Bathhouse Barry “didn’t get us into any new wars recently”, but that completely forgets about the overthrow of Quadaffi in Libya and what’s happening in Syria now as well.
Then, Powell went on to say that Obama should remain president because, uh, well, uhhm, er…”there hasn’t been a terrorist attack or anything lately, I guess”. Which, of course, completely forgets about the rape and murder of Ambassador Chris Stevens and the other deaths at our consulate in Benghazi.
Colin Powell is the buffoon — if you remember — who went to the UN In 2003 with cartoon, coloring book drawings of futuristic, transformable trucks that could morph into battle labs, rocket launchers, and other things that Michael Bay would later incorporate into his blockbuster Transformers movies. I’m a child of the 80s and had all the Decepticons and Autobots too…and evidently Powell was playing with the same toys I was back in the day (though he never stopped, it seems).
Ed Morrissey at HotAir thinks the reason Powell behaves this way is because he’s still smarting that he ruined his reputation and humiliated himself with that UN performance (which really did make him a laughing stock)…so to get back at the GOP he does things like this. I like Morrissey but disagree with him here because I think he’s purposefully not stating the obvious: which is that Colin Powell is a racist.
In the last four years, we’ve seen that black people can be the most racist in the country for supporting Obama just because his skin is similar in color to their own. Colin Powell is one of these people who carry around Sherwin Williams swatches and support candidates who are “chocolate”, “cocoa”, “caramel”, or “fudge” tinted only. If someone’s “eggshell”, “French vanilla”, “buttercream”, or “snowbank”, then Colin Powell won’t support that person.
That’s called racism.
Which makes Colin Powell a racist.
What an absolute buffoon this man is; it’s hilarious to me that he gave up the chance to be the first black President when he could have run in 1996 and he probably would have beaten Bill Clinton because black Democrats would have indeed crossed the aisle and voted for him out of race-pride. I think Powell will always resent his timidity and decision not to enter that race; to this day he blames his wife Alma, saying she and his children urged him not to run for President because he just couldn’t handle the job and wouldn’t do well in a campaign. I think little baby Colin was just too afraid of embarrassing himself in a national campaign and didn’t want to risk doing anything to make himself a laughingstock…like what he did at the UN seven years later.
There’s this thing that happens in our culture where just because someone served in the military we feel a duty to handle that person with kid gloves forever, but I think some people really cross the line and lose that consideration. John McCain is one of them, because he’s been trading off his former military service for years and has gotten away with doing a lot of damage to the country under the guise of “being a maverick” because he’s immune to criticism because he once wore a uniform. Colin Powell is treated much the same way, and is allowed to be a virulent racist in broad daylight without anyone calling him out on it because he was in the military for the first part of his career.
Well, both McCain and Powell are in politics now and while I respect their past service in the military I think both of them are disgusting human beings on many levels currently. Both of them need to retire from public life and head off somewhere to do their own thing privately. I wish them well, but I am tired of both of their antics.

As I posted on another blog:
Colin, would you endorse a proven failure if he were white?
I lost respect for Powell when I was at my girlfriend’s parents house (they were his neighbor), looked out the window, and saw him mowing the grass in a white wife beater, khaki shorts, black dress socks (with sock garters on and riding high) and penny loafers!
Tough for a midshipman at the US Naval Academy, who was studying him in class…
Well, at least he did mow it!!!
Kevin, thanks for this great site… Keep fighting!!
LOL, doesn’t he know this is the Youtube age? A video of that would go viral within days.
“In a speech at the Center for Strategic and International Studies to a room of young professionals, he said, “That’s your generation…a generation that is hard-wired digital, a generation that understands the power of the information revolution and how it is transforming the world. A generation that you represent, and you’re coming together to share; to debate; to decide; to connect with each other.” At this event, he encouraged the next generation to involve themselves politically on the upcoming Next America Project, which uses online debate to provide policy recommendations for the upcoming administration.”

What the heck is the “Next American Project”?
oh, it’s tamra holder on hannity. She likened romney to a guy you meet in a bar and know nothing about. I can’t believe the brass ones on the obama camp, are they actually trying to convince us that we know nothing about romney?
They are using the word liberal too much, should change it to leftie.
Thank You!! That is exactly what I have thought about both of them for a long time, even before the Bathhouse Barry endorsement. McCain is a rhino and IMO a wimp. I thank them for their service and respect it, but I do not respect either man for the things that they allow to happen and aid in happening to our beloved country.
Powell is a curious figure, but I believe he has a serious beef with the Bush family, and this is his way of getting back at them. McCain is part of the global agenda along with his sidekick Graham. He did suffer horribly in Vietnam prisons, but it is time for him to retire. I do worry that AZ is turning purple from CA’s fleeing their progressive disaster and unchecked illegal immigration.
BTW, I think the reason Palin is so deferential to him is not only
because McCain selected her as his running mate.
Palin purchased a house in Scottsdale, Az. and spends a lot of
time there. It wouldn’t surprise me that when McCain retires
he endorses Palin to run for his senate seat.
This is exactly what is going to happen.
The Governor’s next act is in Arizona.
Two points in your comment make me happy: McCain’s retirement; Palin’s filling his Senate seat.
If such a blessing were to occur, this Arizona gal might forgive him for the shameless, corrupt way he stole his seat in 2010.
Powell is just another politician, a master in manipulation when a cover-up is required. A useful liar is all he is and ever has been. Read this link -

I lost all respect for Powell 4 yrs ago when he endorsed Obama, at the very last minute. I called him a racist then, and now he has sunk even lower, because he knows what Obama is all about! How any Military man could endorse Obama after what he has done for the past 4 yrs is beyond me.
Ditto! My thoughts exactly.
What a disappointment this man is. He could be forgiven for his 2008 decision, but he has proved himself to be a fool and racist this time.
This Benghazi affair and the lack of manly and honorable rescue attempts by Zippy shows Powell has forgotten his warrior’s training. Would he want to be in a foxhole with our lying SOS President? No, of course not. yet he endorses Juggie!!!
But then who cares? A turncoat is never welcomed home.
I love and honor military people as much as anyone (in fact my husband is an active duty Colonel) but the tremendous respect I once had for Colin Powell is GONE now. Apparently the GOP dodged a bullet when Powell refused to run for President. The irony is that George W. Bush paved the way for the election of our first black president when he appointed Powell and Rice to positions of highest responsibility and power, proving to America that racism has no place in American politics. Too bad Powell just betrayed that very attitude by endorsing a failed Commander in Chief who has left our military in shambles with a suicide rate higher than a combat death rate.
Last night I told my husband I was afraid Powell would endorse Obama again. His reply: “Well, Powell is pretty irrelevant now anyway.” Well said!
Last night Greta was in full on democratic operative mode. I don’t think even she realized it but her interaction with Trump was a classic.
She had Condi Rice on and she asked a lot of democratic operative mode type questions of Condi. Condi handled Greta beautifully, like the lady she is, but using the mind like as steel trap that she possesses. Greta was disappointing last night. Trump said this outright “Greta I’m very disappointed in you” he shouted in what he believes to be his regular speaking voice. Anyway, the contrast between Condi and Colin becomes more striking every day.
Just tuned into hannity, Frank Luntz on next

I agree. I lost my respect for him four years ago.
I once thought that I would proudly vote for him as the 1st black President, but he is showing that he is no better than the idiot in chief. I wish him well, but just go away. If he can’t make an informed choice as an honorable man, he IS showing that he is endorsing by skin color. What happened to character Colin?? Or have you forgotten Dr Martin Luther Kings words. I now put you in the Al Sharpton catagory. I have lost all respect for you.
Colin Powell has always been Colin Powell’s best promoter. All during his Army years he took care of himself first…not a soldier’s soldier…the worst thing you can say about a warrior.
“people who carry around Sherwin Williams swatches and support candidates who are “chocolate”, “cocoa”, “caramel”, or “fudge” tinted only. If someone’s “eggshell”, “French vanilla”, “buttercream”, or “snowbank”, then Colin Powell won’t support that person”
Kevin, your comment I pasted above made me laugh so hard.
This morning on another forum I also posted that Colin Powell
is a racist. I am tired of all this. When Romney gets in office,
perhaps someone with brains will take over the democrat party
and we can stop all this bs – because it always originates with
the lefties. I don’t like seeing our country being tore apart because
we are all starting to dislike on another for the most stupidist of
reasons.
This morning when I heard him say he was voting for Obama – I thought about what you said Kevin, some people will vote for the skin – not the character.
As for military service respect – respect is earned. And can be lost.
Now maybe Samuel L. Jackson can play him in any (if ever) movie that has Colin in it…….
Kevin, you are always right on target as usual! I agree 100%!
Thank You for your always intelligent posts! I am proud of you
for speaking the truth! I also agree 100% with Heidi, how ANY
Military personnel could back this administration is beyond loco!!
Birds of a feather, well, they do flock together, don’t they? And
his endorsement of Obama doesn’t mean of a hill of beans to me!!
Romney/Ryan if we ALL LOVE THIS COUNTRY!
Oh dear God, The Obama campaign mouthpiece on hannity is out their with the new talking points “lie, make president obama sound the same as mitt romney to confuse people” Hannity and guest called her out on it and he’s playing a clip now.
Here’s what I don’t get about black “race pride” in Obama. (Maybe you’ve discussed this before, Kevin?) O (I mean BB) does not share the American black experience, yet black Americans claim him as if he were one of them. His ancestors include Africans, but not Africans who were slaves in the Americas 150 years ago. He did not grow up in a black neighborhood, whether north or south, or as a member of a black family in another ethnic neighborhood. He was raised in well-to-do neighborhoods, including overseas, and went to good private schools. He didn’t suffer from any of the disadvantages imposed on black Americans by the Great Society tragedy that condemned so many people to hell for decades. I can understand that black Americans fell for all the hopeychangey nonsense like so many other groups did in 2008. I can’t understand it now. Racism is racism, regardless of the color of the person professing or committing it.
Lol…so you have to live in a ghetto to live “the black experience”?…hilarious.
and idiotic.
Why don’t you let black people determine what our experience is…because you’re not very good at it.
I understand what you mean because there isn’t one specific black American experience. What the user is saying is what I as a black woman have been saying for four years. Obama is not culturally or ethnically black American. But for myself I don’t care about skin color. I oppose Obama for his policies.
Actually, these were the arguments that Bobby Rush used against Obama when he bested him in his Illinois congressional campaign. It appears that a certain contingency of American blacks HAVE defined “the black experience” and Obama doesn’t measure up, according to their definition.
I agree that it is idiotic, but to herd people into a group and assume they have all had the same kinds of experiences because of a shared characteristic – skin color – is equally idiotic. According to the race-pimps of the left, I am a racist for believing that black people are PEOPLE first, not group members, and should be acknowledged for their individual characters and achievements.
i dont respect powell anymore for endorsing bathhouse. powell took a oath to support US Constitution above everything and yet him and every fraud in congress has said nothing about barrys fake SS#, draft card, forged BC image and simple fact that the son of a foreign citizen has never been a natural born citizen and ineligible to be CiC…good insight kevin, he probably is a racist. I do not see how a 4 star general could endorse someone who wants to ruin country
More transparency as promised by Obama. All the cries of racism by blacks today is really a projection of themselves. They would rather see this country destroyed than admit O is a failure and a crook.
Wasn’t Colin Powell the one who let Mr. Libby swing in the wind for many months over the ‘outing’ of the non operative Valerie Plame while knowing all the time it was one of his own people who was responsible? I am not American so maybe got the names wrong but I remember how disgusting I thought it was and hardly an act of honour, I liked him before that.
So, let me get this straight. Powell who is supposedly ex-Military and one would think have an allegiance to his Military brethren is endorsing a guy who let US Navy Seals DIE. Powell really? Wake up buddy, I personally know several Democrat that have dropped support for Obama due to the failure of Libya alone and they are not even ex-Military.
Powell has betrayed the US Military and would allow this Prez to further jeopardize American Citizens lives to remain relevant. Simply PATHETIC.
By endorsing obama this time around, powell is a disgrace to the Oath he took when he first joined the U.S.Military.
That oath doesn’t have an expiration date.
He endorsed the biggest, most criminal Domestic Enemy of a president that we’ve ever had.
Powell should be Ashamed.

BTW, Kevin…I’ve been enjoying your articles for some time now.
You may not know how often they make the rounds, showing up in different sites and message boards !
Thank You for what you do !
It’s so obvious that it’s ridiculous. There must be alot of stupid people in this county.
I love it keep it up. As a child who lived through the 60′s We were taught mostly by our parents…My Dad had many black friends I did tooI learned early NOT to be a racist ..My Dad told me that if the only fault you can find with a person is the color of his skin…then your a racist…If you think he is a liar..a cheat a thief …unfriendly what ever but if the only reason you do or don’t do something is based on the color of their skin then your a racist.. he told me God made all creatures cardinals, blue jays, robins they are all birds they are all beautiful and benificial…all equal all the same…It sickens me to see Blacks or others who are racist against White people sit there and call us racist…I look at colin powell who I had great respect for years ago …now all I see is a man who is backing a canidate not because of his being able to cross the isle and get a budget ..not because of his great pride and defense of this country ..but because he is black…If that is not being racist then please explain to me what racism is
