The Race Industry
Did she call House Republicans demons?
Did she say that she would be the next Chairman of the Financial Services Committee?
That should scare the hell out of all of us.
We can not allow the democrats to take back the House….or keep the Senate…or the White House. The thought of Maxine Waters (who was investigated by a congressional ethics panel for steering federal dollars to her husband’s failing bank) taking over the chair of the financial services committee is unbelievable. Isn’t that like having the fox guard the hen house?
We’ve got to get off our butts and start campaigning for Republican candidates. ASAP!
Here’s a little picture that’s sure to give you nightmares tonight….
Yikes….now that’s scary!
Now get out there and join a Republican campaign.
The episode of FOX’s Kitchen Nightmares that originally aired on February 2nd, 2012 featured a look at struggling restaurant Park’s Edge in Inman Park, Georgia (an upscale suburb of Atlanta). This is a show where celebrity chef Gordan Ramsey travels the country salvaging establishments from ruin, usually because the owners had no clue what they were doing when they decided to open a restaurant.
That’s exactly what happened with Park’s Edge, because co-owners Richard Wadlington Jr. and Jorge Pacheco had no restaurant training or experience when they decided to get into the business. As one of their staff members explained on the show, these guys were longtime friends who had a little money saved up between them and decided, “Why not open a restaurant. It can’t be that hard.”
Wadlington was chiefly responsible for their failure because from the start he had no real plan or concept of what Park’s Edge brand would be. Located in a crisp and affluent part of town, they ended up being a “garbage plate” special sort of dive that seems more appropriate for a college town where it would be open 24 hours and have a little bit of everything randomly scattered around a menu. Here in Chicago there’s a restaurant like this called Clarke’s, which has Asian items, burritos and tacos, big bowls of pasta, burgers, meatloaf, and every sandwich imaginable available for order at any time of day — but it works because it doesn’t aspire to be anything more than a little dive where anything imaginable is orderable whenever people want it…and it’s located in a part of town where people don’t expect the place to be fancy.
Well, Park’s Edge encountered problems from the beginning because patrons expected refinement and instead found garbage plate randomness. Wadlington called this “fusion”, but that’s a culinary concept where chefs harmoniously blend the distinct styles and flavor profiles of two or more different cuisines to create new dishes inspired by and reflective of the originals. Most commonly, you’d probably experience fusion cooking when you’d go to a restaurant like Ping Pong here in Chicago’s Boystown — which is not a Chinese restaurant, but a pan-Asian fusion kitchen where items distinctive to Chinese, Japanese, Thai, Korean, and other cooking styles complement one another on the menu.
What Wadlington did at Park’s Edge was shove some Indian dishes, a few Mexican things, and some stir fry together and call that chimera fusion — when it was really just cut and paste randomness while piecing together a menu without any sense of cohesion (or clue in Hell what he was doing). It was a complete amateur hour affair.
Then, for whatever reason, Wadlington didn’t believe Atlanta’s permit department applied to him and he decided to erect a big tent in the parking lot and call it a patio and served liquor there without a license. Neighbors complained about that, and the general poor quality of what Park’s Edge served, and so Wadlington went on television and called anyone who didn’t like his food a racist.
He actually went on local television and said that the reason people didn’t patronize his restaurant was because he was a black man in a white neighborhood so clearly it just had to be that his new neighbors were all racists — and it had nothing to do with the fact that he was incompetent, in over his head, and so full of himself that he couldn’t foresee the disaster he made worse on a daily basis. Wait a minute — are we talking about Wadlington, or Barack Obama? It’s eerie how alike those with Race Industry mentality are when they cry racism to distract from their own personal and professional failings.
Well, after this fool went on TV and called his patrons racists, business collapsed and Wadlington suffered great consequences for slamming his race card on the (now empty) dining room table. People don’t like being called racists when they are not, just because they disagree with a black person on something (like how good his food — or his presidency — is). Park’s Edge was a few weeks away from having to close the restaurant before Chef Ramsey stepped in to turn things around — and Ramsey’s first order of business was forcing Wadlington to appear again on the local news, but this time to tell all of Atlanta how stupid he was to cry racism and invent this destructive fiction to distract from his own incompetence.
After he did that, all was forgiven — and all the people who were supposedly so virulently racist graciously gave Park’s Edge another chance in the spirit of that forgiveness.
To his credit, Wadlington seems like a very nice man. I watch a lot of these restaurant turn-around shows and have seen some pretty terrible people featured, and Wadlington’s not one of them. From what I saw of him in this episode, it doesn’t appear that Wadlington is cut from the same cloth as the “Justice Brothers” of Al Sharpton or Jesse Jackson…and he’s not a malicious and prodigious liar like Henry Gates when it comes to inventing racism where none exists to explain away everything bad he does in life. It really seems like Wadlington just kept making mistakes out of pure ignorance because he had zero restaurant experience before setting up shop. As the consequences of those mistakes mounted, Wadlington couldn’t take the strain this caused and just snapped one day in front of a TV camera and tapped into the black community’s default conspiracy that “if there’s no other explanation then it must just be racism”.
This is interesting because I imagine it happens in 90% of the cases where someone screams racism without first sitting down and proactively deciding ahead of time that this is what they’re going to do on Wednesday of next week at 1230 pm to solve their problems or get negative attention (you know, the way the Justice Brothers and others in the Race Industry do). Wadlington blurted out “it’s racism!” without really thinking about it, the way some people out there scream “it’s the Bilderberg Group!” to explain something vexing that happened in politics.
I suspect there is only a very small handful of black people out there like Sharpton, Jackson, Obama, Gates, and Eric Holder who knowingly lie and invent racism as a political and business strategy — but I wonder how many black people are like Wadlington and allow the conspiracy of RAAACISM! to be their default cry when they’re in over their heads and aren’t emotionally prepared to admit all their problems are their own fault.
Crying racism was a coping mechanism for Wadlington on his path to facing the reality that his business was going under, when he was still too emotionally brittle to assume the responsibility for driving Park’s Edge off a cliff through gross incompetence.
Unlike those in the Race Industry, Wadlington ultimately apologized for falsely accusing tens of thousands of people of being racists just because he didn’t know how to run a restaurant and it showed. He more than redeemed himself by going on television and admitting what a fool he was to do that — and I hope he set a precedent that’s expected in the future whenever the race card is slammed down by someone like him who was looking for a default scapegoat.
We need more Richard Wadlington Jrs and fewer Jesse Jacksons — and we as a collective public need to start forcing ALL of these hucksters onto the TV to apologize whenever they falsely cry racism to deflect blame or promote ulterior motives.
Today in History: Democrats call Herman Cain a racist. Herman Cain officially becomes my second choice for President in 2012 since anyone the Left calls a racist is clearly doing something right.
Cornell Belcher — a man who sounds like the unofficial mascot of a fraternity-favorite bar in Ithaca, New York — has accused Herman Cain of being a RAAACIST.
Herman Cain is a black man.
Cornell Belcher is — BURP! — a black man. BURP!
Since the Left really has only one consistent weapon at its disposal — calling anyone who opposes the Left a RAAACIST — fools like Belcher launch into their practiced “He’s a RAAACIST!” routine sometimes without realizing the person being called a RAAACIST is black himself.
Whenever you hear anyone like Cornell “Burpy” Belcher call someone a racist in the future, first off, indulge the last remnants of the schoolyard you and laugh at his ridiculous, ridiculous name…and then think about all the people accused of being a WITCH! through the centuries because they either irked someone personally or opposed him or her politically.
Shouting RAAACIST! at a person in 2011 is the same as shouting WITCH! at an opponent in 1611.
It is an irrational, emotional, baseless attack wholly devoid of any reason or substance…meant solely to alienate the victim from public support, ostracize that person, and then leave the person vulnerable to further orchestrated attacks on his or her credibility, standing, or livelihood.
The Left has only one playbook — the Alinsky Rules Book — and it’s been recycling the same attacks for decades…which are based on the same divisive and inflammatory attacks used by similar evil doers for centuries.
The net result of Cornell “Burpy” Belcher’s attack on Herman Cain is this: I have always liked Cain, but I’ve been wary of supporting someone who has never held political office before in a bid for the presidency.
But, I have to say, that aside from Governor Sarah Palin and Congressman Allen West, Cain is the only Republican who has the courage to call the Left out on its garbage on a regular basis. All of the declared presidential candidates, besides Cain, seem afraid of the media to some degree.
I’m backing Governor Sarah Palin in 2012 because I believe she is running and will announce sometime between October 19th and Halloween.
If she does not run, more likely than not I’ll end up supporting whomever she endorses…but I have to say, right here, right now, in a race that doesn’t include Governor Palin I am all about Herman Cain.
Because at the end of the day, if someone in the political world is being called RAAACIST! by Leftists like Cornell “Burpy” Belcher, then he must be doing something right.
So maybe it’s worth looking past his previous lack of elected office and exploring whether I think a President Herman Cain would be willing to sock it to the Left every single day he’s working in the Oval Office.
Congressman Allen West’s letter to Emanuel Cleaver scolding the Congressional Black Caucus on its continued bad behavior
Congressman Allen West is a future United States President.
The man is going to change everything someday: he will personally destroy the Race Industry, and will more likely than not provide the final clobbering to the Cocktail Party GOP establishment.
I swear, I want an action figure of Allen West sitting on my desk inspiring me to write letters like the above to terrible people.
West is the perfect VP choice for 2012…and presidential pick in 2020.
Go, West, Go!
Racist Congressional Black Caucus member shouts RAAACISM! some more — but, is anyone still listening to this garbage?
The Congressional Black Caucus is an entity within Congress that restricts its membership based on skin color. Paint swatches hang by the door to its meeting room: if you aren’t at least a “French Beige” or a “Light Caramel”, there’s no admittance for you. Tax dollars actually fund the Congressional Black Caucus, making it actual state-supported racism.
One of these racist members of the most racist segment of Congress is Andre Carson, who has been calling the Tea Party racist. This is nothing new, of course, but Carson’s ratcheted up the reckless rhetoric along with the alliteration. He’s now using images of lynchings from trees and other sensationalism to further the Left’s clear and stated goal of demonizing its Tea Party opposition.
I hope all of you out there can see what’s happening here: the Left is losing more power daily. Thus, the Left turns to the Alinsky Rule Book and looks for a way to save itself. Just about the only option available is to gin black people up to scream RAAACISM! at someone, as the usual distraction. Since so many people in this country are conditioned to be terrified of being called RAAACISTS!, most people shut down and scurry for cover when the Left brings the animatronics in the CBC to life and trots them out to beclown themselves like Carson is doing.
Can you think of one thing YOU can do to spread word in your circles about the latest outrage from the racist entity that is the CBC?
How do we open a national dialogue about banning “caucuses” in Congress that require the assistance of Sherwin Williams in selecting their membership?
(isn’t the big guy in the middle of the back row the same guy who was Gabby Gifford’s staffer? The one who helped save her just after she was shot? If not, he sure looks like him.)
Just a few days ago, Obama signed an Executive Order titled “Establishing a Coordinated Government-Wide Initiative to Promote Diversity and Inclusion in the Federal Workforce.” How wonderful! Another government program…because we really don’t have enough. This Executive Order will “direct federal agencies to draw upon the talents of all parts of society and allow the federal government to tap diverse perspectives to overcome the nation’s greatest challenges.”
Here is an excerpt from this order….
Section 1. Policy. Our Nation derives strength from the diversity of its population and from its commitment to equal opportunity for all. We are at our best when we draw on the talents of all parts of our society, and our greatest accomplishments are achieved when diverse perspectives are brought to bear to overcome our greatest challenges.
A commitment to equal opportunity, diversity, and inclusion is critical for the Federal Government as an employer. By law, the Federal Government’s recruitment policies should “endeavor to achieve a work force from all segments of society.” (5 U.S.C. 2301(b)(1)). As the Nation’s largest employer, the Federal Government has a special obligation to lead by example. Attaining a diverse, qualified workforce is one of the cornerstones of the merit-based civil service.
To realize more fully the goal of using the talents of all segments of society, the Federal Government must continue to challenge itself to enhance its ability to recruit, hire, promote, and retain a more diverse workforce. Further, the Federal Government must create a culture that encourages collaboration, flexibility, and fairness to enable individuals to participate to their full potential.
Instead of spending his time trying to figure out how to get millions of Americans back to work, Obama is just creating new government agencies to further extend government regulations.
Don’t we already have policies that require “inclusion” and “diversity”? We already have another government agency to ensure this….it’s call the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission.
While our Government still has jobs to offer….private sector jobs are very few and far between.
I know how Obama can stimulate the economy and create thousands of new private sector jobs.
The above painting is Norman Rockwell’s “New Kids in the Neighborhood” (1967), which normally hangs in the Norman Rockwell Museum in Stockbridge, Massachusetts but is currently on loan to the Museum of Fine Arts in Boston (until December 2011).
It’s a commentary on the first black family moving into a white house in what was most likely an all-white neighborhood, with local children coming to meet their new neighbors.
No one is hurling epithets, making threats, or being victimized in any way…though all appreciate the historic and unprecedented nature of the first black family’s arrival.
Like with any great art, you can read whatever you want into this painting. If you’re part of the Race Industry and your livelihood depends on fostering a conceit that Americans just hate black people, then you’d probably claim this snapshot was taken mere seconds before a horrific scene of intolerance took place — the quiet before a racially motivated storm. That’s sure how Jesse Jackson, Al Sharpton, Henry Gates, and Barack Obama and (most especially) Michelle Obama would see it.
Or, to be much more accurate, you could realize this was the first introduction of friends who would enjoy playing together for many years, having many adventures, and someday looking back on this initial meeting as one of the most fortuitous days of their lives (well, everyone except the cat and the dog, who will probably always hate each other, because everyone knows that cats and dogs are just irredeemable racists). Allen West, Kevin Jackson, Thomas Sowell, Bill Cosby, and Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. would probably see it this way (about the kids’ attitudes towards race relations, anyway).
This week, Obama created a stir when he chose to borrow Norman Rockwell’s “The Problem We All Live With” (1964) for prominent display in the White House, just outside the Oval Office. It’s also owned by the Norman Rockwell Museum, and is scheduled to hang in the White House until November 12th, 2011, when it’s set to join a national tour called “American Chronicle: the Art of Norman Rockwell”.
This is interesting because it means the painting will only hang in the White House for, what?, less than three months?
Most likely, the Obama administration would have trucked this particular painting to D.C. for just three days, if that was the only length of time the Norman Rockwell Museum would part with it, because Obama’s handlers for his re-election campaign just wanted photo ops with him, standing before this painting depicting the ugliest of moments in the Civil Rights era, while it was displayed outside the Oval Office.
Obama is very clearly abusing the painting and twisting its original intent to serve his own needs — namely, to ensure that black people eviscerate anyone who challenges Obama in 2012. It’s a clue the Race Industry will rev up, full-blast, to call everyone opposing Obama’s re-election RAACISTS!, and a clear and present warning to any Democrats who would dream to challenge him in the primaries.
A recent poll showed that 64% of the country thinks race relations have either stagnated or worsened during Obama’s presidency, because even though the media claims Obama is “the first post-racial president”, his entire propaganda machine is fueled by race-baiting. The race card is the weapon of choice of this White House, and race determines Obama’s point of view in all that he does.
I’m sure the Norman Rockwell Museum would have been honored to loan the White House either “New Kids in the Neighborhood” (1967) or “The Problem We All Live With” (1964), but Obama and his team chose the dated painting, specific to one horrible moment in the past, that recorded ugliness and hatred that just no longer exist…instead of celebrating progress and recognizing just how far America really has come.
Considering, as it is, that it’s an actual black family in the White House picking out paintings to hang where they want, which just would never have happened if America really was as racist as Obama and his ilk in the Race Industry keep claiming.
Al Sharpton selected to fill the Tim Russert role in the 2012 election: shouting racism and attacking the female candidate for the presidency
Tim Russert was, hands-down, the most shameful misogynist and sexist in the 2008 media pool, berating Hillary Clinton every day to get out of the race because she was “standing in the way of Obama”. Russert, Chris Matthews, and Keith Olbermann were MSNBC’s vile trinity of Obama propagandists all through the Democrat primaries. Russert suffered a fatal heartattack in the studio after spending all day villanizing Hillary Clinton, alleging she was a racist for competing with Obama for the nomination, and gleefully taking shots at her in the most misogynist terms imaginable.
The world is a better place with Russert no longer on the air. Or above ground breathing any of it.
With Olbermann fired from MSNBC for being, essentially, an uncontrollable crazy person, only Chris Matthews has remained on the network. Gearing up for 2012, it looks like MSNBC has tipped its hand in terms of its strategy to help Obama be re-elected (remember: it was Matthews in 2008 who allowed that he considered it his job to make sure Obama succeeded, which is a sentiment shared by everyone at the network it seems).
This means two things.
Primarily, it’s our clue the Left is going to employ the Race Card early and often in both the primaries and general election. This spells doom for Obama’s campaign, since the Left might be the last to realize that the Race Card in fact expired on January 20th, 2009 at twelve noon (the moment Obama became the “historic and unprecedented first black president”, a feat impossible if the nation was as fundamentally racist as the Race Industry led by Sharpton, Jesse Jackson, and Henry Gates have claimed). If the best weapon Obama has in his re-election arsenal is MSNBC screaming RAAACISM! at people, then he should seriously consider pulling an LBJ and announcing he can’t run for another term because of his Parkinson’s or some other medical reason.
The other area of importance in Sharpton’s hiring is the fact it indicates MSNBC is preparing for Governor Palin’s entry into the presidential race, since the Left often uses blacks to shout RAAACIST! as an attack when they’re afraid to have males seen on camera attacking females. The Left typically uses gays to attack conservative women, but when no high profile gay person is available for the task, the Left defaults to blacks for their hired goons.
Sharpton will, of course, be told to brand Governor Palin a racist over and over and over again on MSNBC. The plan being for this caterwauling to saturate the public and be absorbed through osmosis into the subconscious. People will know on a rational level it’s not true, but they’ll also be afraid of being called racists themselves for standing up for the Governor (and whomever else Sharpton aims the Race Industry’s attack ray at).
Classic tactics straight out of the Alinsky Play Book, which we saw deployed against Hillary Clinton in the 2008 primaries, and then later against John McCain in the general election.
If you become a student of the Left’s strategies, and understand its goals, you can honestly start scrying what they’re really up to months ahead of time, just by watching hiring decisions like this one for Sharpton.
There’s a new gym that is set to open soon in South Boston. Well…to be accurate, the InnerCity Gym had a grand opening date when the community found out who the members of the gym would be. This isn’t going to be your local Gold’s Gym or LA Fitness. This gym specifically caters to the “most influential gang-involved youth in the Boston area,” including active and former gang members. The developer of the gym, InnerCity, decided to keep the community in the dark about their plans and sunk $30,000 in renovations into the building and signed a 3 year lease. Once residents in the community were tipped off about the plans, the protests began and the opening has been delayed. I wonder if any stimulus money went into this project. You know…one of those shovel ready jobs to help “reinvest in the community”. After-all, gang members need to stay in shape too.
I have one question though.
How exactly do you cater to “influential gang members”?
I’m not a nationality expert, but I’m 99.9% sure that’s a Muslim male between the ages of 18-45 under that sweatshirt and face mask, strolling through the ruins of London, with hate burning from his eyes.
He is not on his way to the mosque to quietly celebrate the wonders of “the religion of peace”.
