NBC executives confident Obama will lose in 2012
You need to read between the lines on this one, but it’s pretty clear NBC executives are confident Obama will lose the 2012 election and that a Republican First Family will be living in the White House come January 2013.
Jon Lovett is one of Obama’s former speech writers – who left the Obama White House to write for sitcoms in Hollywood.
He just sold NBC an idea for a show about “a dysfunctional First Family” living in the White House; NBC made the unusual step of purchasing this pitch with a guaranteed commitment that the pilot will indeed air (or else NBC will have to pay Lovett a hefty penalty).
It’s unreasonable that Lovett has created a comedy show about a Democrat in the White House or that the show will be about a First Family bearing any similarities to the Obamas. Guys like Lovett, who are just starting their careers, do not make enemies in Democrat ranks by creating shows that lampoon Democrats. The Obamas seem to be especially grudge-holding by nature — and we all saw the Alinsky lengths Obama went to in 2008 to win office — so it’s ludicrous to believe Lovett would write a show that in any way contained characters resembling the Obamas.
This, to me, means Lovett and NBC are gearing up to mock the incoming 45th President and his family…who will be Republicans, and thus fair game for NBC to feature as dysfunctional in a sitcom.
The pilot commitment would not have been paid if NBC didn’t feel the next First Family would be Republican…since the show would begin airing presumably in the Fall of 2012, right around the time the new Republican president is elected.
NBC is clearly betting on Obama’s loss and trying to get this show in development so it can capitalize on the political change that’s coming…and also give the Left something to watch where NBC will make fun of the incoming administration so that Leftists don’t feel so bad about Obama’s loss.

GREAT MERCIFUL ZEUS! PBS caught altering transcript to remove Obama’s “Lincoln founded the Republican Party” historical mistake
American Thinker caught PBS altering its transcript from Obama’s “Economy Saving Jobs Speech”, where PBS very clearly removed the part of Obama’s speech where he claimed Abraham Lincoln founded the Republican Party.
Lincoln actually joined the party two years after it was founded by someone else, in Wisconsin — and Obama should know this because during the 2008 presidential campaign, Obama wrapped himself in so many Lincoln analogies he practically claimed to be his reincarnation.
This transcript-altering is more of the same affirmative action pass Obama has received his entire life, where racists on the Left have run interference for Obama whenever he makes a fool of himself. When transcripts can’t be altered, they’re just hidden, so no one can ever see how poorly Obama did on something or how many mistakes he made, like when he received all Ds and Fs in his college and law school classes but was repeatedly passed anyway.
The Left has such a low opinion of black people, and thinks they aren’t capable of doing anything like speaking about historical facts correctly, that these racists at places like PBS insist on covering up Obama’s many mistakes to keep him forever their cherished, protected pet…instead of holding him to the same standard as whites who’ve held the same position Obama’s in, who are excoriated for such mistakes. I don’t think I need to ask you to imagine what PBS would have done if George W. Bush had misidentified Abraham Lincoln as founder of the Republican Party.
If PBS demanded Bush decipher ancient hieroglyphs from memory without aid of a Rosetta Stone, while simultaneously completing quadratic equations spelled out in Braille, and Bush stumbled in the attempt, the Left would deride this white president as a bumbling fool.
Because Obama’s black, however, outfits like PBS are impressed whenever our illustrious current president manages to identify the correct end of a phone to speak into (presuming he didn’t think the ringing he heard was the doorbell).
But, what else can we respect from a man who earned all Ds and Fs in school and was only promoted upwards because of the color of his skin and the exotic qualities of his name and personal narrative?
Obama launches another boondoggle government initiative.
The staff of the new Office of Diversity and Inclusion
(isn’t the big guy in the middle of the back row the same guy who was Gabby Gifford’s staffer? The one who helped save her just after she was shot? If not, he sure looks like him.)
Just a few days ago, Obama signed an Executive Order titled ”Establishing a Coordinated Government-Wide Initiative to Promote Diversity and Inclusion in the Federal Workforce.” How wonderful! Another government program…because we really don’t have enough. This Executive Order will ”direct federal agencies to draw upon the talents of all parts of society and allow the federal government to tap diverse perspectives to overcome the nation’s greatest challenges.”
Here is an excerpt from this order….
Section 1. Policy. Our Nation derives strength from the diversity of its population and from its commitment to equal opportunity for all. We are at our best when we draw on the talents of all parts of our society, and our greatest accomplishments are achieved when diverse perspectives are brought to bear to overcome our greatest challenges.
A commitment to equal opportunity, diversity, and inclusion is critical for the Federal Government as an employer. By law, the Federal Government’s recruitment policies should “endeavor to achieve a work force from all segments of society.” (5 U.S.C. 2301(b)(1)). As the Nation’s largest employer, the Federal Government has a special obligation to lead by example. Attaining a diverse, qualified workforce is one of the cornerstones of the merit-based civil service.
To realize more fully the goal of using the talents of all segments of society, the Federal Government must continue to challenge itself to enhance its ability to recruit, hire, promote, and retain a more diverse workforce. Further, the Federal Government must create a culture that encourages collaboration, flexibility, and fairness to enable individuals to participate to their full potential.
Instead of spending his time trying to figure out how to get millions of Americans back to work, Obama is just creating new government agencies to further extend government regulations.
Don’t we already have policies that require “inclusion” and “diversity”? We already have another government agency to ensure this….it’s call the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission.
While our Government still has jobs to offer….private sector jobs are very few and far between.
I know how Obama can stimulate the economy and create thousands of new private sector jobs.
Leave office.

The Dynamic Duo...Geithner and Obama
As predicted, the stock market is plummeting today….down almost 500 as I write this piece. As also predicted, the Obama administration is blaming everyone but themselves for the disaster (mainly blaming the Tea Party).
Here are just a few Democrat talking points that are appearing today…
1. Howard Dean: “I think they’re totally unreasonable and doctrinaire and not founded in reality. I think they’ve been smoking some of that tea, not just drinking it,”
2. David Axelrod: “The fact of the matter is that this is essentially a Tea Party downgrade. The Tea Party brought us to the brink of a default. … It was the right thing to do to avoid that default. It was the wrong thing to do to push the country to that point.”
3. John Kerry said that the S&P downgrade was “without question the Tea Party downgrade”
One thing they have conveniently ignored? The S&P made it perfectly clear why they downgraded our rating. “The downgrade reflects our opinion that the fiscal consolidation plan that Congress and the Administration recently agreed to falls short of what, in our view, would be necessary to stabilize the government’s medium-term debt dynamics.” The S&P requested a $4 trillion dollar debt reduction. They laid it out for Obama and Congress.
Obama…Reid…and Boehner knew what it would take to keep our AAA rating. The only plan that would have saved our rating was the Cut-Cap and Balance plan which passed in the House but not in the Senate. Our brilliant Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid declared the C-C-B bill “over,done,dead” before it even hit the Senate floor. Nice going Harry. If the bill had passed both houses then the pressure would have been on Obama to sign it. It was the only way to save our AAA rating. It was a very good bill.

Did Obama foolishly send the Navy SEAL team into an obvious ambush?
Here’s a very interesting (and disturbing) read on the horriffic loss of Navy SEALs in the helicopter shot down by Muslim forces in Afghanistan yesterday.
Essentially, was it the foolishness and self-aggrandizement of the Obama administration that gave the Taliban and Al Queda an opportunity to set a trap to avenge Osama bin Laden?
Joe Biden was the first Obama administration official to begin revealing the identities of the men responsible for killing bin Laden. Further Obama White House staffers followed, in the effort to curry political favor for Obama by associating him as closely with SEAL Team 6 as possible. Hell, Obama’s team reached out to Hollywood immediately and have been intimately involved with getting a big, blockbuster movie made of the hunt for bin Laden (which will hit theaters in October 2012, less than a month before the next presidential election…in just a giant coincidence I’m sure).
What if the Muslims, smarting from the loss of Osama bin Laden, just paid attention to all the bragging and name-dropping the Obama administration has been doing…and then decided to circulate false intelligence that some “high ranking target” was vulnerable in the mountains, so ANOTHER big capture or kill could be feathered into Obama’s cap?
What a temptation for this administration…one it couldn’t resist.
So a team of SEALs very much like the one sent after Osama bin Laden was dispatched by the Obama administration, and sent into what sure feels like a giant trap.
Did these men ultimately die because of the foolishness of the Obama administration, and the fact people like Joe Biden couldn’t keep their mouths shut, because they were too desperate to score political points for our illustrious current president?
Sobering questions to ask…but necessary for this particular administration.
GOP Plan vs Harry Reid’s Plan
Today…Harry Reid presented his debt plan and the GOP presented their debt plan today. Of course, each side doesn’t like the others sides plan. I think this leaves us in the same place we have been…..nowhere.
Here are the basic points of Harry Reid’s plan (as best I can tell)
1. His plan doesn’t reform entitlements…at all.
2. His plan counts on a lot of savings from the withdrawal of our troops from Iraq and Afghanistan. (a big gamble, I think)
3. His plan counts heavily on discretionary spending cuts.
4. His plan doesn’t include tax increases. (I’m suspicious of this one)
5. His plan will carry through until the end of 2012…and the elections.
The Republican leadership has just announced their plan so I am still trying to learn the specifics. It isn’t exactly cut-cap-balance but it’s close (according to Speaker Boehner). It only increases the debt ceiling by $900 billion. They also generate revenue by cutting discretionary spending by 1.2 trillion.
The big difference is that Obama is demanding that the plan extends through the end of 2012 (and through the elections) and the GOP’s plan only carries through until early 2012.
I think Harry Reid’s plan has a lot of “fuzzy” math involved and basically tries to throw a bone to both sides….no tax increases to please the GOP and no debt debate again until after the 2012 elections to please the White House. Reid is such a mealy mouthed schmuck…I have a very hard time watching him. Listen to his news conference (given just a few hours ago). He blames the Tea Party “extremist” for controlling the GOP and says that these extremists are ignoring what the American people want. (Warning…grab your barf bag before hitting the play button)

From what I can tell by listening to the beltway pundits on TV right now, neither side is going to go for the other’s solution. It looks like they will be heading back to the drawing board unless someone surprises (or disappoints) us.
Obama is addressing the nation AGAIN tonight at 9pm.
What can we expect him to say? I’m sure he’ll say that he is the reasonable mature one and it’s the Republican leadership that’s holding our nation hostage.
I feel like we are hostages right now and it’s Obama who’s writing the ransom note.
White House lied about the Afghanistan plan?
General John Allen
I know that this won’t come as a surprise to anyone but…the White House has been caught in a blatant lie in regards to the plan to remove troops from Afghanistan. Lt. General John Allen testified yesterday under oath to the Senate Armed Services Committee that the plan that Obama chose was not one of the options presented to him by General Petraeus. Stephen Hayes of the Weekly Standard was quick to pick up on this.
(Weekly Standard) In response to questioning from Senator Lindsey Graham (R-SC), Allen testified that Obama’s decision on the pace and size of Afghanistan withdrawals was “a more aggressive option than that which was presented.”
Graham pressed him. “My question is: Was that a option?”
Allen: “It was not.”
But wait….hasn’t Obama and his administration been telling us that the plan to withdraw troops from Afghanistan was within the range of options presented to him by military advisors? Every quote from White House senior officials says that Obama’s plan falls within the range of options presented to him by General Petraeus yet the new top commander in Afghanistan has said (under oath) that Obama’s plan was not one of the options.
Not only was Obama’s plan not one of the options but top military officials are very worried about the specifics of the timeline.
“Among their greatest concerns: the White House’s insistence that the 2012 drawdown of the remaining 23,000 surge troops be completed by September. That means that drawdown will have to begin in late spring or early summer—a timeline for which there exists no serious military rationale. Afghanistan’s “fighting season” typically lasts from April through November. (Last year, it continued into December because of warmer than usual temperatures.) So if the White House were to go forward with its policy as presented, the largest contingent of surge troops would be withdrawn during the heart of next year’s fighting season.”
Hmmmm…the military is concerned about withdrawing troops by September 2012 because it’s a security risk for our troops but Obama doesn’t care about that. He only cares about being re-elected in November of 2012. The GOP should be howling over this little detail.
It’s so disgusting to me that Obama would put politics before the well being of our troops.
November 2012 can’t get here soon enough.
