Ten States Now Pushing for Birth Certificate Submission for 2012 Presidential Ballot: it’s about damn time
It’s up to ten states now, for requiring the submission of the long form birth certificate for a candidate to be eligible for the 2012 presidential ballot.
I don’t believe someone can be elected President if that person does not appear on the ballot in all 50 states, because that person would not be the president of the United States, since the states were not united in electing him. Some are arguing with this point, but this is what I learned in school. If you are legal-minded, I’d love clarification on that point.
However, with ten states now working to require submission of a long form original birth certificate before a candidate can appear on the presidential ballot, then it takes the number up to 170 in terms of electoral college votes Obama cannot win right off the bat if he keeps refusing to release his original long form birth certificate for public inspection.
This now includes states Democrats need to win to secure the presidency, like Indiana, Pennsylvania, Connecticut, Maine, and Missouri.
I don’t know of a combination of states that could return Obama to the White House for a second term if he doesn’t win five states. If somehow Ohio can be convinced to pass a similar law, Obama’s re-election would be an immediate nonstarter for sure.
That could be an interesting project this year for conservatives nationwide: to pass these birth certificate requirements in states that Democrats absolutely have to win in order to re-elect Obama. If the Left is already writing off the red states and would push ahead with Obama even if he couldn’t appear on the ballot in states McCain won in 2008, what will they do if these laws are passed in states that went blue for Obama?

Mike Pence has decided not to run for president — preempting what would have been a very confusing campaign for most Americans.
“Is that John McCain?”.
No.
“Is that John McCain’s son?”.
To the best of our knowledge, no.
“Then, why does he look just like John McCain?”.
Why does anyone look like anyone else. Personally, we think he’s going for a George Peppard on “The A-Team” look. Perhaps “serious actor” Leslie Neilson, like in his brief appearance in ‘The Poseidon Adventure”. That’s apt, because running a man who looks just like John McCain four years after the man who actually IS John McCain would have been intensely stupid…a disaster of Shelley Winters trapped underwater proportions.
Of course, the Cocktail Party GOP establishment was pushing for this, but they are in fact intensely stupid so of course they would do that.
Governor Palin to headline event honoring Reagan on February 4th…two days before Reagan’s 100th birthday
We’re getting incredibly close to Ronald Reagan’s 100th birthday, which will be February 6th, 2011…SuperBowl Sunday.
This is the day we have long expected Governor Palin to officially pick up Reagan’s mantle…to set her on course to join the poker game above.
Where she belongs.
Governor Palin will be the keynote speaker at an event honoring President Reagan on February 4th.

The "misunderstood CAIR Bears of Islam" strike again!
As I read this story about a high school pep rally that featured throwing live fish and baby chicks at people, with the animals being tortured and then killed, all I could think of was how much howling the Left will do about this event and how quick all the PETA-members in the media will be to condemn all the students, teachers, administrators, and parents who allowed this to happen.
Rightfully so, because this was a senseless, sick, and cruel waste of life.
I have never once seen this same sort of outrage directed against Muslims, however, when the media reports on the latest murder spree someone commits in the name of Allah somewhere, like in Moscow this week where 31 people died because “The Religion of Peace” decided to bring its peacefulness to the Domodedovo Airport.
Human beings were blown apart by a Muslim male between the ages of 17-40, yet the Left not only won’t admit there’s a pattern of behavior that warrants security profiling for that demographic cohort, but it also fails to place any blame for this activity on the Muslims who stand by and say nothing when these things happen.
Unlike a pep rally where fish and baby chicks are thrown around and harmed, where the media indicts everyone who had anything whatsoever to do with those involved, because they helped raise “bad kids who hurt animals”.
Well, what about the terrible Muslims who murder people by the dozens in the name of Allah?
Where’s the scrutiny and condemnation of everyone who helped those Muslim males between the ages of 17-40 become the monsters capable of creating so much death and destruction?
Is it that the Left just hates humans and loves animals, or is it that the Left is terrified of ever asking for any moral responsibility of Muslims, period? Is it a form of racism on the part of the Left, that Muslims are not treated as equals by the Left and media…therefore they do not have to behave the way civilized people behave and these acts of terrorism are instead reported with the same level of shock and dismay as shark attacks?
When people are eaten by sharks while enjoying a sunny day at the beach, the media dwells on the carnage for a day or two, gets plenty of reaction shots from the gaping, sobbing crowds, and then quickly moves onto something else the next day never spending any time asking for sharks to gain accountability for their actions or for other sharks to demand the super-bitey ones rein it in.
This is essentially how Muslims are treated. Like sharks, expected to hurt a lot of people every now and again, because that’s what they do, but Muslims on the whole aren’t ever held accountable for their behavior because, like sharks, the Leftist media seems to believe they are incapable of behaving like rational human beings.
The Left gives Muslims the treatment and accountability of animals harming humans…whereas civilized humans harming animals at a football game pep rally are treated like war criminals, where anyone ever associated with them is indicted for their crimes as well.
Do you see this happening with the American media as well?

Five states working on legislation to require long form birth certificate for candidate to be on presidential ballot in 2012
Here’s an interesting article from World News Daily about Arizona, Montana, Pennsylvania, Georgia, and Texas all crafting legislation that would require presidential candidates to produce their long form birth certificates for them to be eligible to appear on the 2012 ballots.
I honestly don’t know why this is not already on the books in every state.
As things stand, the Constitution makes certain requirements about who can be elected President of the United States, but does not provide for any mechanism to ensure these requirements are met.
It’s just always been assumed no one would run for president without being actually eligible to hold the office, with all the correct documentation in order to prove it.
But, there’s no agency in place to ask for that documentation, and no procedure for making sure those documents are valid.
The current president refuses to produce his original long form birth certificate because the name that’s on this document does not match the name he uses currently. This is because his official Hawaiian birth certificate was changed in the 1970s when he was adopted by Lolo Soetoro in Indonesia. At that time, his name was changed to “Barry Soetoro”. When a child is adopted, that child’s original birth certificate is permanently sealed and sent down the Memory Hole. The new birth certificate, with the adoptive parents on it, becomes that child’s official birth certificate.
Obama made the choice in college to become “Barack Hussein Obama, Jr.” because being the son of a Kenyan seemed more politically advantageous to him than being the adopted son of an Indonesian man, with his Indonesian surname. Obama never bothered to legally change his name BACK to Barack Hussein Obama, Jr. after his adoption. If he had, there would be a record of that name change, both in the Hawaiian Hall of Records and in newspaper announcements noting the name change (as required by law).
Those announcements do not exist.
His name was never changed back to Barack Hussein Obama, Jr.
So that’s why he won’t produce his birth certificate.
If he did, he’d probably have to legally appear on the ballot as “Barry Soetoro” when he runs for re-election.
Or, would that be “election”, since he has never appeared on a ballot as his legal name?
All of this is like a cartoon I once saw where, through massive tragedy and bizarre twists and turns, a duck became the King of England, since no other living human heirs were eligible.
Unfortunately, we don’t live in a cartoon. If we did, we’d all be riding around on those unicorns Obama promised us.
We actually live in a world where the President of the United States won’t produce his birth certificate, his college records, his legal career’s documentation, his records as a state senator, or anything else that’s left a paper trail in his life. Just because he doesn’t want to.
Or, he’s hiding something terrible that he knows would destroy him.
In 2008, there was no legal mechanism in place, apparently, to demand Obama produce any of these documents…and the media enable this situation by implying anyone asking him to produce these documents was either racist, crazy, paranoid, or all of the above.
In a history class I had once dealing with the Vietnam War, the professor noted that the public turned permanently against the White House when Walter Conkrite said on the air that the Vietnam War was lost. That’s what it took for the country to have enough with the war. For someone respected and familiar to them to say what so many of them were thinking.
THAT is what’s needed right now in terms of Obama’s mythical, mysterious birth certificate. We need someone respected, beyond reproach, and highly familiar to all Americans to say outloud “Why won’t he just show his damn long form birth certificate and be done with it already?”.
I don’t know who that person is, or even if there is such a person alive. Who’s so beloved, believable, and beyond reproach that if he or she said, “He needs to turn over his birth certificate tomorrow” that the White House would be compelled to do so?
Maybe it’s not one person. Maybe it’s the various state governments following the five mentioned above who are preparing for the 2012 election by requiring all presidential candidates to submit their birth certificates as part of their paperwork for appearing on the ballots.
All it takes is for ONE state to require this for a person who refuses to produce his birth certificate to be ineligible to run for president, because a candidate must be on ALL 50 of the state ballots to become our Chief Executive.
You can’t be president if you are only elected by 49 states, with your name not appearing on that 50th ballot. You could win all the electoral college votes in those other states, but because the people of the 50th state didn’t vote for or against you, then you cannot be the President of the United States…which is a union of 50 states, not 49…and not 57 like Obama claims there are.

On another thread about Rahm Emanuel’s appeal to the Illinois Supreme Court to remain on the Chicago Mayoral ballot, commenter Newt Love said the above, which first made me laugh but then made me realize what an unfunny joke Chicago is to the rest of the country.
It’s not the least bit shocking that elections in this city are rigged, or that laws are trampled on and ripped to shreds when Democrats here want to do that.
Voter fraud is rampant here. Dead people vote. Early and often! Democrats endeavor as much as possible to boot living Republicans from voter rolls while keeping Democrats on long after their change of address to the cemetery.
The Cocktail Party establishment here doesn’t say anything about any of it because they do not want to be called “big meanies” or “RAAACISTS!” by the Leftist media.
Everyone knows this.
Just as everyone knows that Rahm Emanuel was not a resident of Chicago, as the law requires, for a full year before next month’s Mayoral election.
But, because it’s Chicago, and the Left controls this city, the Left acts like the law does not apply to them.
You hear stories about how things ran in Chicago when Al Capone controlled the city, and it makes you shudder to think what it will be like with Rahm Emanuel in the Mayor’s office. Say what you will about Mayor Daley, but the man knew restraint. He never sent dead fish to anyone or stabbed a piece of steak while shouting his enemies’ names.
Rahm Emanuel has really done this.
And the Daley Machine wants to make him the next Mayor.
And our only hope is that the rival Madigan Machine in Springfield will stop him.
It’s like being a tiny bystander in a Japanese monster movie watching the city you live in being torn about by behemoths no one can control.
Certainly not any laws.

I know I’m not the only one who thinks Michelle Antoinette Obama would look fabulous in some of The Supremes gowns. Instead of trying to invent her own weird style, she should look at what worked for Diana Ross and friends at their most glamorous, and what works for glamorous women like Vanessa L. Williams (on both Ugly Betty and Desperate Housewives).
This has nothing to do with Rahm Emanuel, aside from the fact that he, too, might want to look fabulous in these gowns but just doesn’t know how.
