Research Project: What are the memes and lines of attack that lefties are pushing to help Obama right now?
I’m going to be busy today with my Think Squad friends doing something kind of embarrassing and strange that I hope will lead to a good write-up for tomorrow if I can get some scoop in an oddball situation out in the suburbs…so while I’m doing that I wonder if you could find any time to help me research what memes and lines of attack the lefties are pushing right now (as in, Sunday October 21st, 2012) to help Obama and malign Romney.
Here are, I think, the best ways to look into this (in order of the most effective and easiest to the most stomach-turning):
* Go on sites like EW.com and People.com and look for any stories related to politics. Then take a pen and paper and jot down any common lines of attack against Romney that you see. What are the lefties pushing on these entertainment sites? Are they picking up the “let’s mock Mormon underwear” thing from SNL last night? Are they still attempting to make “binders!” a thing? Do they talk about Ann Romney’s horse? What are they up to and how are they making fun of or attacking Romney? What are they saying about Obama?
* Look on Facebook pages of any lefties you know. What are they saying? Try to jot down and report back anything you see them saying so we can determine common memes that these people are getting from somewhere. If you don’t know any lefties on Facebook, then you could always dig through these two lefty group pages for some good intel: Left-Leaning Liberal Ladies (notice how they use the word “liberal” to make them sound more appealing to people, which is why you should NEVER use that word, ever) and Liberal.org (yet again, don’t use this term because it’s like calling cockroaches “hug-a-bugs” to improve their marketing and branding efforts).
* Take a look at gay sites like Towelroad or The Windy City Times to see what attacks gays are making on Romney. Jot them down in a list. Remember something: Democrat use gays at their public relations/communications/meme-incubators so typically attacks start on Republicans in the gay community and whatever works best is then blasted out by MSNBC and the rest of the Ministry of Truth. This is like how Broadway shows are often tested in Chicago or San Francisco before being packed up and remounted on the Great White Way itself. Usually what gay people are going on about is the stuff you’ll see Chris Matthews screaming about a week or so later.
* Do you have the stomach to checkout what’s going on at HuffPo or Buzzfeed (which always feels like the BizzaroWorld messed-up doppleganger to us here at HB when I type this).
If you are someone who belongs to a sports, crafting, video game, home schooling, Laura Branigan fan club, or something else online can you pop around and see if anyone on those boards is mocking Romney and trying to prop up Obama over there? Outside of politics, I monitor a lot of Disney fan sites because I’m trying to help Justin get a job as an Imagineer in the near future…and I never see anything political on those boards (except for once in a while a negative reference to the Tea Party that’s promptly scolded for being off-topic). Justin has some video game sites he goes on, but he says they have been quiet in terms of the election…as if there is no election happening at all. What are the hobby/special interest sites you go on looking like today?
I always have a small box of little slips of paper next to the computer that I use to jot notes while I’m reading online. This is scrap paper I recycle from things we’ve printed out here at Buzzquarters that aren’t useful anymore, or even junk mail that comes in that is only used on one side. The blank side then gets quartered and kept in a little cardboard box some candy originally came in and it’s ready for when I need to keep track of things like these memes online. Always having a pen and paper by your computer is smart because you can make a list of important things you notice very quickly that way.
How about giving this a go today?

FUN WITH SEARCH ENGINES: Who are Obama’s golfing buddies and at what clubs did he golf?
Today I’m digging up all articles I can find about Barack Obama’s golfing buddies and which clubs he’s golfed at as president. So far, I’ve identified the following men as regular members of Obama’s “foursome”:
* Ben Finkenbinder (a staff member in the Press Office…pictured above giving his “Blue Steel” for the camera. Work it, Mary!)
* David Katz (Department of Energy staff member)
* Marvin Nicholson (WH trip director)
It’s such an odd group of (mostly) young men that I’m surprised Larry Sinclair wasn’t invited to “go golfing” too.
I think I’m also going to dig up a comparison to the men that Bill Clinton golfed with regularly while he was President. I remember those guys being big power brokers like Vernon Jordan, professional golfers like Arnold Palmer, and big-wigs such as Senators and Governors and the like. Clinton didn’t head to the links with twenty-something male staffers he referred to as “The Finkmeister”. It’s just all so strange.
What were these guys really doing together? Obama’s such a terrible golfer…despite all that time supposedly “golfing”…and it’s bizarre to think random, young guys who are an odd fit for a President’s “friends” would be spending such ridiculous amounts of time together engaged in a activity such as “golfing”.
I actually know there’s more to all this and am close to proving it, but first I need to find a good compilation of articles detailing all of Barack Obama’s golfing outings and who he was with.
Can you help research this?
Either post links to Obama golfing articles in this thread or email them to us at HillBuzz.org and I’ll start a nice table on all this showing how frequently Obama golfed with “The Finkmeister” and perhaps we can deduce how Reggie Love or Kal Penn felt about that.
RESEARCH PROJECT: Understanding the Congressional investigations of Quiz Shows in the 1950s (so we can do the same thing to the news media in 2013)
I think I’m going to watch the movie Quiz Show later today on Amazon streaming. Technically, I saw it on a plane once but fell asleep during the middle and woke up later to find an episode of Friends was playing instead. Unless the movie Quiz Show ends in a spacious New York apartment where people without jobs sit around all day never struggling for pocket money.
Today I want to understand how and why Congress investigated the rigged quiz shows on 50s TV and what authority allowed those investigations to proceed.
Because the same thing needs to happen to the corrupt, vintage media today…the people who I call Barack Obama’s “Ministry of Truth” (or, Minitrue for those Obama hipsters into the whole, cool, newspeak thang).

Great Merciful Zeus: I read, and then re-read, this blip from Wikipedia about ten times already. It is SCARY how much this applies to the corrupt, vintage media today.
In George Orwell‘s novel Nineteen Eighty-Four, the Ministry of Truth is Oceania‘s propaganda ministry. It is responsible for any necessary falsification of historical events. The word truth in the title Ministry of Truth should warn, by definition, that the “minister” will self-serve its own “truth”; the title implies the willful fooling of posterity using “historical” archives to show “in fact” what “really” happened. As well as administering truth, the administration deploys a new tongue-in-cheeklanguage amongst administrators called Newspeak, in which, for example, truth is understood to mean statements like 2 + 2 = 5 when the situation warrants.
It is one of the four ministries that govern Oceania. However, as with the other Ministries in the novel, the Ministry of Truth is a misnomer and in reality serves the opposite of its purported namesake.
In Newspeak, the ministry is known as Minitrue.
Since 2008, the networks of MSNBC, CNN, and even FOX at times have falsified records of historical events to best suit Barack Obama and protect him from negative information.
Look at the reporting being done on what really happened at the Benghazi consulate in Libya…the media has willfully and deliberately falsified its reporting to best cover for Obama in an election year.
Newspeak creeps into our lives by calling illegal immigrants “undocumented workers” instead. The Left is ALWAYS playing this game with words (which is why you must never, ever use any of their approved terms as you only reinforce their branding and help them by doing this…so stop using the words “liberal” and “blog” because the Left wants to be called “liberals” since that sounds nicer than “lefties” and “blog” is the word the media uses to discredit and marginalize conservative writers online in the new media. If you’re someone who says “liberal” or “blog” and wonder why your comments never appear on this site it’s because those two words zap those comments immediately into oblivion here. I just won’t allow people to help the Left by continuing to use their assigned terms that assist their agendas).
The American media actually serves the opposite of its purported purpose in that it does not deliver news but instead spreads only Democrat propaganda in service to re-electing Barack Obama, who has become a cult demigod to the members of the media who idolize him.
It’s all so creepy.
After I watch Quiz Show I’m going to have to re-read 1984 here in 2012 because I just can’t believe this stuff is happening in real life now. When I read that book back in high school in 1993 or so I never dreamed it would come true in America. Yet, here we are.

RESEARCH NEEDED: Find articles on Voter Fraud in the news from January 2012 to present — #VoterFraud
I’m going to be in the field today interviewing some sources for something major I’m writing about — probably the biggest story to ever land in my lap. After that, I’m going to checkout the “Occupy Unmasked” movie and appreciate Andrew Breitbart’s very last major project [UPDATE: Of course, it's not playing anywhere near Illinois...just Texas and a few other places far away; I ordered the DVD though and can report on it when it arrives here]. There’s a good chance I will have a Chick-Fil-A sandwich at some point, too, since I’ll be in that general vicinity in the suburbs. I am a gay guy who is all about the supporting Chick-Fil-A and its delicious lunch offerings.
If you have any time today, can you help us by researching Voter Fraud?
I want to become an expert on the topic because I’m sick of American elections being more riddled with fraud than a third world banana republic’s (worse than a strip mall Gap’s, even). I have it on good authority that if voter fraud was eliminated in Cook County, Illinois alone that Democrats would lose 3% of their vote share in Chicagoland…which would be enough for Republicans to win the state…and even for Romney to beat Obama here in November.
Just imagine that…eliminating voter fraud in Chicago and obliterating all efforts by the unions, the Black Panthers, ACORN’s offspring, and other wrongdoers to circumvent election laws in the most corrupt state in the union.
Great Merciful Zeus, that would be like taking the fight right to the Hellmouth under Sunnydale and wiping all vampires and demons out with Buffy and her Scooby gang. I am so never going to stop making Buffy jokes, no matter how far into the past its series finale slips.

I have something very special cooking up for Halloween, beginning October 1st, and the only way I can pull it off is if I have enough material on voter fraud on our archive page to make it work. It’s the kind of thing that would have totally made the sorting hat put me into Slytherin House, but in a good way (for those wondering, Justin’s definitely a Ravenclaw). RESEARCH NEEDED: Let’s pool together articles showing how media manipulates the poll samples to help Obama
DougRoss@Journal is becoming a great source for evidence of the media purposefully manipulating poll samples to help Obama; today there’s another post up over there showing how CBS contorted its results to give Obama an edge, when in reality the poll samples should have a Republican registration advantage of 3 points (as 2012 is the HIGHEST level of people referring to themselves as Republican and the LOWEST number of people claiming to be Democrats; the polling the media’s doing is pretending the 2008 numbers are still valid, when Democrats were at their high point for registration and affiliation…which is just not true anymore).
Let’s pool together as many articles today as we can find that talk about the media manipulating polling data to make Obama look better in polling race. Please add links in comments to this thread or email them to me directly at HillBuzz@gmail.com.
I would limit the search parameters to these:
* time period should be from June through the present
* try to find articles from reputable sources (I think DougRoss@Journal is a good standard…or someone like Professor Jacobson at LegalInsurrection…people like that)
* read “20 Questions Journalists Should Ask About Polls” and see if it gives you any ideas for exposing the bad polls out there
I’d love to find in-depth articles really examining this phenomenon and busting the media for engaging in this…and scolding the conservative sites out there who push these bad polls and demoralize people.
This is the kind of thing that Andrew Breitbart would be ALL OVER if he was still here. But, he’s not, so it’s up to us. This is a way you can use your talents and smarts to help out today in whatever time you have.

HELP NEEDED: Research 2010 election and media’s insistence Democrats would hold Congress and expand margins
Are you good at research and can spare some time today to help with an important project?
I won’t have time to get this done today without your help because I have a deadline on something I need to do for my actual, paying job…but I need some serious research to prove the central theory on an essay I am working on; this has to do with the 2010 elections and how the corrupt media went on and on for MONTHS about how Democrats would not lose Congress and that in fact Democrats would expand their margins. I remember the media doing this, and I remember Nancy Pelosi in particular up to the day of the election insisting she’d remain Speaker.
Conservatives are largely amnesiacs. Part of the reason the corrupt media is so effective in panicking Republican voters is because few of these people can remember what happened in the last election. It’s almost like this is a Harry Potter book and there’s some sort of spell that makes everyone dis-remember the lies and propaganda the media pumped into the last election. I really think it’s because people were so excited that Democrats LOST so bad back in 2010 that people forgot just how hard the corrupt media was driving the story that “there’s no way Democrats will lose the House”.
2010 was the biggest repudiation of a political party in, what, 90 years? The elation of that has largely wiped away all memory of the corrupt media claiming the opposite would happen.
Do you see where I am going with this?
The same damn thing is happening now…with the corrupt media in propaganda mode to demoralize and panic conservatives (just like they did in 2010) only no one is out there reminding people not to fall for this garbage. We can actually, together, put good information out there to counter the media’s lies just by showing people this is the same stunt they pulled in 2010.
I will write the essay(s) on this if you help with the research. Here is what I am looking for:
* links to articles in credible sources (meaning nothing that ends in .blogspot.com or .wordpress.com but things that end in just .com, .org, or .net) from August through November of 2010 that trumpet a Democrat win in the 2010 elections.
* video of anyone from MSNBC, CNN, or even FOX claiming on television that Democrats will win in 2010 and keep the House
* evidence of the corrupt media pushing the meme that Democrats would win in 2010 and that the Tea Party was nonexistent, dead, losing steam, irrelevant, etc.
* summaries of the media’s efforts to ignore the Town Hall meetings of 2009-2010 that showed how angry the public was
* links to any conservative sites (like HotAir, RedState, AceofSpades, MichelleMalkin, etc.) where conservative writers got into this “We’re Doomed!” mode and spread the Left’s propaganda by buying into what the corrupt media was peddling and wallowing in Eeyorism pertaining to the 2010 elections
I think the biggest reason Republicans lose elections is because a lot of conservatives are naturally pessimistic people who feel battered and abused by the media most of the time. I’ve seen battered spouses who are like this and have such awful home lives that they jump and are startled easily if anyone makes a quick motion around them; a friend has a rescued dog who years later still flinches at hand gestures because it thinks it will be beaten like when it was a puppy. Conservative people are like this and are just naturally inclined to be depressed and demoralized when the media says “Obama is winning!” and “Obama leads in the polls!”. Neither of those things are true but, yet, conservatives just accept them as true without questioning the accuracy of the statements.
Why is that?
The corrupt media clearly lies. It lied all through 2010. And the day after the 2010 elections, it changed the subject and ignored all its lies and conservatives just forgot any of it happened.
Let’s remind them.

Candid Feedback Needed: What’s keeping you from combating Voter Fraud where you live?
Can you take a moment or two to think about what keeps you from actively participating in some kind of effort against Voter Fraud where you live?
I know you are against Voter Fraud, or you would not be a regular reader here. I also know you care about the political process because you regularly read a political site. I know that you want to be involved, but I wonder what stops you.
Is it that you don’t know how you can be helpful?
Is the voter integrity material too dense to really get a-hold of or too hard to find online?
Have you heard of groups like Defend the Vote or others like it where you live?
There are two things that I hear every election that just drive me up the wall: that “Democrats have better GOTV efforts” and that “nobody’s done anything to stop voter fraud since last time, again”.
I have no idea how to address the GOTV stuff because aside from the union thugs muscling people to vote Democrat and other entitlement-programs demanding a push for Democrats in major cities like Chicago, I don’t know what GOTV activities legitimately go on. I think a lot of the GOTV stuff is actually part of voter fraud efforts — since Democrats actively look for senior citizens with dementia so they can vote in their names at nursing homes on the way home from taking grave rubbings to get names of new voter registrations in places like Chicago. I’ve personally seen the “voting in the name of old people” stuff happen, because the Obama campaign did that during the 2008 election, along with the voter intimidation efforts from everyone from the Black Panthers to the Union Bosses and the Gaystapo goon squads here in Boystown.
The Left wins with these tactics because good people — the actual majority of Americans — don’t get personally involved in the effort to stop voter fraud. There is just no valid reason that America should not have a secure system of elections that makes fraud impossible.
But people need to demand that.
Can you talk a little bit about why you haven’t become personally involved in a Voter Fraud Prevention organization? The goal is to find out what’s the hurdle and then let’s work to remove that (as much as possible).
Do you have personal, first-hand experience with communism?
We’re looking to interview people who’ve had first-hand experience with communism.
This is part of our ongoing investigation into the Marxist indoctrination the Left’s pushing in our public schools.
We want to speak to people who escaped communist countries and survived communism’s “workers’ paradise” themselves.
We also want to talk to parents who’ve noticed Marxist indoctrination in their children’s schools.
We are looking for concerned citizens who’ve been paying attention to the Frankfurt School and its efforts to subvert American culture and usurp parents’ role in educating children and raising them as proud Americans.
We think this is so important that we’ve created a new page here on HillBuzz.org where we’ll collect information on this topic so we can use this as a real resource to combat the Marxist indoctrination ongoing in our public school system.

What is “The Frankfurt School” and how has it been used by the Left to advance a communist agenda in America?
Since today’s Halloween, I thought it seemed appropriate to turn over a few rocks in the political world and take a look at the hideous, squirming nasties that wiggle loose…such as “The Frankfurt School”.
What is it?
How does the Left use it to advance a communist agenda in the United States?
What role is “The Frankfurt School” playing in both the “Occupy Wall Street” displays and the rest of the Obama 2012 campaign (because if you don’t see that the Occupoopers – who are organized by ACORN – are really just the advance ground team for Obama’s re-election bid, then you need to start paying more attention to the classic Alinsky Methods employed daily by the Left)?
On a day where there’s people in random places dressed up as Frankenstein (or, as it’s called in the Kerry house, “Monday”), let’s take a long hard look at “The Frankfurt School”.
