CAIR isn’t happy with the Oakland A’s
The whining terror-linked Muslim group CAIR isn’t thrilled that the Oakland A’s are planning a Jewish Heritage Night….

Honest Ibe Hooper here stoops lower than even I thought he could go, criticizing the Oakland Athletics for holding a promotion that is noble in light of the relentless vilification of Israel in the mainstream media and the world community today. Note also Honest Ibe’s whiny attempt yet again to claim victim status for Muslims in the U.S.

The issue of religious freedom vs. separation of church and state is always dicey and sports is not immune. A growing number of MLB, NBA, NHL and NFL clubs are offering Christian, Jewish and Mormon nights.
But a national Muslim advocacy group doesn’t think it’s appropriate for teams to mix religion and sports. If sports teams are going do it, then the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) wants equal time for other religions.
“The ultimate test of this kind of policy would be to have a Muslim Family Day — and gauge the public reaction to it,” says CAIR spokesman Ibrahim Hooper. “Given the heightened state of anti-Muslim sentiment in our society, I have a feeling there would be some objections to that.”
The Oakland A’s, for example, will hold their first Jewish Heritage Night against the Los [Angeles] Angels May 17. Attendees get an A’s yarmulke and a seat in the plaza infield section for $26.

On Sunday, the NBA’s Golden State Warriors will hold their first Jewish Heritage night, including a Q&A with Israeli basketball player Omri Casspi, Jewish music and kosher barbecue. The 2010 World Series Champion San Francisco Giants are planning Fellowship (Christian), Jewish and LDS (Mormon) days among various ethnic heritage promotions this season….
I wonder how long it will take for the A’s management to plan a Muslim night?

Gosh, y'all, I'm just a dumb Paddeh-Hick, but surely a private enterprise has the right to hold – or not hold – whatever sports nights it sees fit and thinks it can make a profit from?

Srsly, CAIR needs to get its story straight. One the one hand, it's complaining the religion and sport don't belong together. Then it starts whining that Islam isn't included.
The worst bit? CAIR could win if they took this to court.

Just remember, when you read something like this tripe, and have that sense of disbelief and revulsion, it's not islamophobia you're experiencing. It's islamonausea, the feeling you get because you're sick of hearing these lieing bastiches complain that people don't like them just because they want to kill anyone that doesnt agree with them (H/T Kathy Shaidle)

Actually, according to FBI statistics (sorry, no link handy) anti-Jewish sentiment is far higher.
Of course, no one worries about offending Jews.

Yes, of course, when the sentiment is highest against you, you go ahead and rub people's noses in it. You get in their faces and that will improve sentiment? I have never seen a bigger bunch of babies in my life. Lisette is absolutely correct – it is a private organization. Guess what? We have Christianity day and night at home. Will they say that we're not being inclusive enough? My church is all about the love of Christ. Are they going to get protest?
The CAIR view that there is a measure of separation of church and state in sports is total BS in my view.
The principle is only about a state religion… CAIR take note… implementing Shariah in the USA violates that principle.
I wish i could find a copy of the Naked Communist . Every thing Islam is doing these days seem to be right out of the old Soviet play book. Just change a few words like Bourgeois=infidel or communist = jihadist.
It sounds like all the heritage nights have something in common: their love of family…
I can see my jewish cousins taking their kids (4), my LDS cousin taking their kids (also 4), and my catholic cousin taking their 2 kids and 2 grandkids to any of these nights… The Lutherans don’t have any kids yet…but if they did, they would…
Maybe if Muslims would stop killing their family members they would enjoy a night like this too.
Wait a minute–they're talking about heightened anti-ANYTHING about something that includes Mormons and Jews, against whom any number of bizarre and hateful things are said EVERY DAY, without anyone worrying about their poor ickle feelings being hurt? Oh, well. At least they're still excluding those dastardly Catholics. The CAIR bears can take comfort in that.
I can just imagine the lawsuits that would result from 'muslim night' if any burqa-clad woman got hit in the head by a baseball she couldn't see coming….
Then she would in turn get beaten by her husband for touching an object that resembles a man's private part, of which obama has none. It's all in the playbook.
1. Since a great deal of the Muslim community does not want to be part of society, what do they know about or care about baseball? I can name Hall of Fame Jewish players (Sandy Koufax), Mormon (Harmon Killebrew) and Christian (Billy Williams). This is not about the sport, it is about feigned outrage
2. Would you want to go to Muslim Family night? The three groups about don't have "honor" killings
The fight night will be consisted of people milling around and beating each person about the head with their shoes. If things get bad, by all means, bring out the machete.
