Brainstorming needed: What’s a great term for describing the part of the gay community that serves as the Left’s goon squad?
UPDATE: Thanks to everyone for the great creativity and inspiration in this thread. I am forever humbled and blessed by the extreme creativity of those who read HB. I am truly grateful for the ability to run an idea by one of the world’s best focus groups and get such an interesting and effective collection of suggestions. I don’t know anyone alive who has access to something like this, and I am awed by the willingness to help with these sorts of action items. As a writer I feel like I have this magical window to great oracles, and I really am very thankful for all the suggestions we receive here.
My two favorite ideas in this thread (of many great ones) are:
(a) The Gaystapo
(b) The GayGB
Can you please chime in with your favorite of these two?
Before we switched over to the new server, I used to be able to put up a little poll for you to click on and vote, but I don’t know how to do that anymore…which means we have to just do it the old fashioned way with you commenting on which one you like better: Gaystapo or GayGB.
Do you think Gaystapo will cause critics to invoke Godwin’s Law?
Is GayGB too hard for some people to get right away (meaning, will it take them too long to realize GayGB is like KGB?)?

I really need some of your creative help with coining a term for the part of the gay community that actively serves as the Left’s goon squad — the people who serve as the gay complement to the Race Industry and are always ready to call someone in conservative and Christian ranks a HOMOPHOBE or a BIGOT as casually as those like Jesse Jackson, Al Sharpton, and Henry Gates unfairly label anyone opposing Obama a RAAACIST.
Finding the right term for something is very important, as the Left well knows. Words have great power.
“The Race Industry” is the perfect name for the industry that exists on the Left to exploit black people for the Left’s own gain and the enrichment of Race Industry poobahs like Jackson, Sharpton, and Gates.
“The Cocktail Party GOP establishment” is a term we coined here on HillBuzz.org back in 2010 that captures exactly what the permanent political class in the Republican party truly is, and contrasts that directly with the Tea Party.
The media loves to paint “the gay community” as perpetual martyrs and victims, but as we’ve shown you repeatedly here on HillBuzz, there is a dedicated, aggressive, and committed cohort of gays who serve the Left like the flying, pink, monkeys of Oz, doing the Left’s bidding, and attacking conservative women in particular.
I would love to find a term for these people that instantly identifies what they are doing, how the Left uses them, and is memorable enough that it will catch on.
But, I’m stymied…so I have used “the gay community” when talking about these guys in the past, for lack of a better and more effective word.
I’d love your creative help in this thread (or emailed to HillBuzz@gmail.com if you don’t want to post a comment) brainstorming a term we could start using going forward that captures the spirit of what I’m describing. Here are a few things we need this term to encompass:
* The Left using this particular group of gay people as goons
* These particular people RELISHING their role as attack dogs for the Left
* This group exclusively being used by the Left to falsely call others homophobes and bigots
* This group focusing attacks largely on conservative women
* This group mocking Christians and serving the Left’s aim of degrading religion
* These particular gays getting their talking points from Kathy Griffin, Margaret Cho, Bill Maher, Anderson Cooper, Rachel Maddow, etc.
* Low-information, zero substance gays who shout and shriek instead of arguing policy points rationally
* Somehow working something creative in here…like the flying monkeys of Oz…or birds like parrots that just repeat the lies they are told in colorful flurries the media loves to rebroadcast
* Hypocrites who claim to be victims yet rush to the cameras to victimize conservatives and Christians and women
* Cruel people who do things like attack Trig Palin to get at his mother Governor Palin or who attack female Republicans on very vicious and personal levels
* Homosexual harpies? Maybe something like this using alliteration, but maybe not that blunt.
This is an instance where I see the need for something clever to define this particular goon squad of the Left (which is one of the key horcruxes the Left relies on to maintain power), but I just haven’t thought of a term that really drives the above points home.
Remember: giving a name to something means you hold power over it. The very first step to defeating the Left and destroying its treasured horcruxes is taking down these goon squads…and to do that we need to give a proper name to the gay goon squad the Left relies on so often to attack conservatives, Christians, and women.

Gaystapo?
“Gaystopo” is excellent in a few ways.
I love the “stopo”, tweaking the “a” to an “o” because it intends to stop conservatives by bullying them.
But I wonder if people would see that, or just think it was a typo.
Your “Gaystapo” is very inspired. I will have to think about this…I think this is the direction and wording that’s needed.

“The Dark Side of the Rainbow” is another term I’ve used before to talk about the bad things “the gay community does”.
I know there’s a way to use rainbow in a term like this…or maybe to do something with the old Rainbow Brite character…Rainbow Dark.
I am really liking the Gaystapo idea though.

I have used the term "Proffessional Oppressed Minority" to cover a lot of these loons for a while now, especially the Justice Brothas. Something along those lines would work…
That said, I really like Gaystapo; it triggers so many evil images …

i like gaystapo, too. before reading it, my thought was, 'gaybots.' they are people who march in robotic lockstep with whatever the left spouts.
All my ideas have already been said.
The Dark Side is what I've always associated with liberals. The "Gaystapo" label is truly awesome. Although GayGB is pretty smart too.
GayGB is also very inspired.

I dig Gaystopo because it is easier for non-involved people to "get". Plus, it is an improvement on my pinkshirts suggestion.
I honestly don't think the Godwin defenses work, simply because there have been too many accusations of being Nazis from the left.
Even though i proposed GayGB, I am afraid half the sheeple out ther would think it means "Gay Glenn Beck"?

GayGB is also excellent but the problem is that 'gay' and 'kay' sound almost identical. Ergo, people will think they're hearing "KGB" spoken by someone who has a head cold.
How about a twist on attack dogs as in "GaYttack dogs"

Import though to destingish between them and the peaceful Gay majority. Most gays do not look for trouble, sadly this troublesome team brings on hostility to others.
I like the idea of Gaybots best. Gaystapo is bound to be automatically dismissed as predictable Godwin's Law name-calling, and GayGB is not as mass-appealing. But Obama followers are already referred to as Obots, so it would reinforce the tie-in to Democrats to use the term gaybot. As a matter of fact, I may just start using it myself – it really encapsulates group-think among gays without making it derogatory against homosexuality itself.
I really like Gaybots too.
It also really reminds me of the GO-Bots that were ripoffs of Transformers. For some reason, it makes me think of mimeographing and astroturfing.
I think there actually could be room for a GayGB and the Gaybots….with the GayGB being the people who direct these attacks and the Gaybots being the regular rank and file low-information followers who just do what the comedians and Anderson Cooper tell them.
What I really like about GayGB is that the G and B can have an added meaning…as in… Gay Goonish Bullies or Gay Goons & Bullies….so this works in the bullying the gays on the Left do as well.
It’s very useful to have the G and B built in because we could actually have it adapt to future situations if we come up with other things the G and B would stand for.
And Natalie’s right on how effective Gaybots could be as well.

Gaystapo has been around for a while, I've used it quite some time. It's key problem is the inherent Godwin's Law invocation.
I'd call it the Glee Club but I don't think anyone would get I'm being literal about the "club" part. That said if you use the proper context [e.g. The Democrats sent out more giddy members of the Glee Club to smash some windows, slash tires, and barrage anyone in proximity as homophobes]
GayGB is a bit esoteric, and the left won't get it because they think Stalin is some kind of hero for opposing Hitler, despite both men being fundamentally left wing.
Though I could also have some fun with the ridiculous way that LBGT is constantly added to, and toss KGB at the end. [e.g. the Democrats sent out the LBGTQQKGB to knock some people out.]
"Queer Guard" is also too esoteric and the problem is they're going on offense, not defense.
So it's more difficult than it at first appears.

My vote is for Gaystopo – clever and memorable.
While it's true that Hitlerisms are unnecessarily injected into current political discussions far too often, the behavior of these people, including the cruel mockery of Trig for the sole reason that he wasn't aborted for his imperfection (eugenics, much?), has earned them this title.
I like Gaystapo too, I think the Gaygb will be overlooked. It sounds to close to KGB
