“Be Breitbart, Baby”
I spent a good portion of today monitoring the positively horrible postings on various Leftist sites and on the Facebook accounts of proud adherents of “The Tolerant Left” — observing the absolute glee they’re taking in Andrew Breitbart’s sudden death yesterday.
If you’re a regular reader here, you’ll know I trot out “the Death Star obliterating Alderaan” analogy quite frequently — because the scene resonates with me in especially trying times, as it’s one of the earliest memories I have of seeing something up on a movie screen (having most likely seen it for the first time during one of the pre-VHS re-releases of Star Wars). The Tolerant Left today is behaving much the way I imagine those in the high echelons of the Galactic Empire behaved upon hearing news of the first successful firing of the Death Star and the obliteration of Senator Leia Organa’s home world. “Ha ha! Take that! That’ll teach her!” is an echo of the jubilation in Leftist ranks today with the loss of the great General of the American Resistance who was Andrew Breitbart — himself a 21st Century echo of a Thomas Payne/Paul Revere/George Thomas hybrid.
If you’re a Star Wars fan, you know well that anyone in the Empire who celebrated the destruction of Alderaan (and the deaths of billions of its inhabitants) was an absolute fool (on top of being a sick and pathetic degenerate who celebrates the death of ANYONE) because the loss of Alderaan galvanized a galaxy and sent millions of talented, creative, and impassioned people into the ranks of the rebellion. “For Alderaan” was their mission statement and clarion call.
Today I sent an email out to my personal list of friends asking them to step up their efforts in whatever way they could to help fill the incalculable void left by Andrew Breitbart’s death. One of my good friends, HB contributor “The Tamminator”, responded by telling me her new personal mission statement in life is to “Be Breitbart, Baby!”. She says she already used it in a conversation she had this afternoon with another conservative activist — and at the close of their talk, he told her to “Be Breitbart!” and she said “Be Breitbart!” back to him instead of “goodbye”.
In whatever way you can, please “Be Breitbart” a little every day from now on.
If you didn’t consider yourself a part of the American Resistance already, please induct yourself with a pledge of “Being Breitbart” too.
Andrew Breitbart was an important part of the Resistance whose unique gifts were crucial to our cause…but I know in my heart there is someone reading this right now whose talents could possibly be even greater — but you just have never put your talent out there.
Maybe you didn’t think you were good enough…or strong enough…or brave enough.
Maybe you were afraid of what the Tolerant Left would do to you or your family if you got involved.
Maybe you sat back because Andrew Breitbart was already out there doing the heavy lifting.
With him gone, it’s time for you to be Breitbart, baby.
I am beyond heartbroken this remarkable man is dead. There are no words to describe how sickened I am that the Tolerant Left has seized his death as a cause for perverse rapture. All I can think to do in response to any of this is to “be Breitbart, baby”.
A little every day.
Then a little more until I get the handle of it.
I’ll never be as in-your-face as he was…or as salty and aggressive…since that’s not my personal style. But I’m going to start challenging myself to do more with video and social networking than I’ve ever done before. My friend Megan Fox and I talked today and we’re going to start our radio show back up, despite the cost to keep it going, because it’s a way for us to “be Breitbart” on the air now that his voice is silenced. “The Tamminator” and I decided to launch a very special project of our own, committing to something we’d talked about many times but never decided to put into action until now…and it’s something Andrew Breitbart would have gotten to himself eventually if he’d lived a little longer.
Whether they realize it or not, I see a lot of other people in the conservative writing world picking up on the spirit of “Be Breitbart, Baby”. I hope above everything else that the verb “to Breitbart” comes into regular usage and it stands for “absolutely bedeviling the Tolerant Left, exposing their hypocrisy, and collapsing the Cocktail Party GOP establishment while driving the Elite Media insane”.

Kevin, I think we should add a new verb to the English language.
Breitbart: to not back down, to stand up to idiots on the left, to not be afraid, to not hold back, to revel in their hatred (because that means we’ve got ‘em), and to do all of those things with intelligence, heart, and a wicked sense of humor. Most importantly, to never give up, because even death can’t stop us.
Example:” I breitbarted that idiot at the Occupy protest, it felt great!”

I follow politice obsessively. I comment if I think I have a point worth making. I link to stories I think are important and not well known. I have Sarah Palin and Allen West bumper stickers on my mini van. I realize how much danger our freedom is in. I am afraid my children may not live in the country we all know and love someday. But I am shy. I never actually talk politics to anyone except my family who feels the same as I do.
I’m going to Be Breitbart Baby!!!!! I have to figure out what that means for me. I don’t know what I am afraid of. I am not someone who is concerned about what people think of me, but I just can;t handle the emotions that happen during conflict. But, I want to Be Breitbart Baby! And I’m going to. I have to do it for my children, and grandchildren. I owe it to them.
Thank you Andrew for what you did for us. Please God give me the wisdom and strength to do what I am supposed to do.
My heart is broken for the passing of Andrew. He got in the lions den and confronted the left on their lies. There will never be another like him. Please Kevin help us be that tourch to carry on. I’m going to need the encouragement. What a gift Breitbart was to the conservative movement. We MUST keep it going. Be Breitbart is a good start. Andrew, RIP my brother. You will not be forgotten.
We must continue to fight and never back down. Our childrens future depends on it. I get sick to my stomach with the left!

Yesterday I was enraged.
Today I am sad.
But the thought of all of us “Breitbarting” the left fills me with hope.
Andrew taught me that Political Correctness was Cultural Marxism. Ever since the day I wrapped my brain around that idea, I have delighted in using my words to poke the PC Police in the eye.
One of the reasons I love being a Mormon is because of the many prophecies around political realities in our cannon of scripture.
The fact is, it has been prophesied that Truth will triumph and the Knowledge of the Lord will cover the earth. Babylon will fall and FREEDOM will spread around the Globe.
On this dark day when the enemies of Freedom are gloating and chortling over the death of one of the Bravest, if not the most courageous conservative who ever boldly stood and fought back with every ounce of energy he possessed, we can do nothing less than model our activism after his.
“To arms, to arms” brave warriors in the culture wars! Grab your cameras, open your lap tops, flex your fingers for the typing ahead. Rev up the radio shows, organize your street theatre and prepare to smash the Marxist idols wherever they lurk in American Society.
It is time to “Breitbart” the left!

Daily all of us must give testimony & voice to the battle against the relentless efforts of the left to inflict their demented version of utopian tyranny on this nation and indeed the entire world.
Tonight I feel I sent an arrow flying at the evil force that is the Obama regime & his useful idiots. We attended a rodeo event in Laughlin, Nevada. Like most rodeos there was a clown act that was unusually clever and filled with anti-liberal satire.In one of the pauses between events the clown arrived in the arena riding a clown car “pulled” by a tny duck.
The rodeo emcee of course was incorporated into the clown’s act and told the clown their is an old lady in the audeience who needs a ride back to San Diego. The emcee “convinced” the clown to take the old lady home and soon the fat old lady clown arrives on the floor of the arena. The cowboy clown offered to carry the lady’s suitcase which of course fell open exposing the fat old woman’
s expansive bloomers which the male clown picks up & waves at he audience with a comment as to its size which elicited chuckles from the audience. The second object the clown collects from the spilled contents of the suitcase is a very stretched out tattered bra.
The cowboy clown held up the bra and said it looked like it would not provide much support and what support it gave was like that of Obama, falling fast. Many in the audience laughed. I immediately and simultaneously began loudly cheering and clapping exuberantly and soon had hundreds of others were doing likewise much to the chagrin of the couple seated next to my wife who were obviously obummunist supporters.

LOVE IT!!!! So now we can say that Anthony Weiner, ACORN and others were “Breitbarted”- speaking out boldly is engaging in”Breitbartism”- however don’t say “Breitbartedly” courageous because that would be redundant!
