OBAMA'S JUDGEMENT: MACHINE CANDIDATE HE ENDORSED IN 2006 NOW HAS 10% APPROVAL RATING
Judgment….the virtue by which we were supposed to judge Barack Obama during the election (along with, of course, being cool)….
Today, the Chicago tribune reports that the Obama endorsed, Cook County (Chicago’s county) President, Todd Stroger, now has a 10% approval rating……
How’s that for judgment?
In all honesty, 10% actually seems a little high…..after all, this is a guy who demanded his own private elevator in City Hall shortly after inheriting the job from his father…..a man who oversees a county with the highest tax rate in the country, yet still has crippling budget issues…….a leader who oversees a failing county health system and a school system that saw a child murdered on the average of once per week last year.
You know what’s funny and sad at the same time….this isn’t a new story…this same story existed last year…the media just chose not to run with it….and the people of Chicago chose to remain silent….
This is exactly why I decided to start my old blog, Chicagoans Against Obama, last year during the primary….
Here’s what I wrote last year after creating the blog:
This site was started for one reason……
TO EXPOSE BARACK OBAMA FOR WHAT HE IS…..A TYPICAL CHICAGO MACHINE POLITICIAN.
To those unfamiliar with Chicago-area politics, you may not know much about the 77-year old Chicago political machine…about what it does, and how it operates.
But when I see Barack obama give his,generic, and nuanced speeches in front of his wide-eyed YES WE CAN! contingent……and talk about bringing change to Washington……and how he is the only one who can do this……I feel nauseous….how do people not realize that he has had numerous opportunities to change Chicago, and has never done anything…..
For the last 20 years Obama has had a chance to shake the Chicago Political Machine, which has controlled Chicago’s neighborhoods for 77 years……he has had a chance to stand up to the crooked Alderman….he has had a chance to stand up against Todd Stroeger and the corrupt Cook County government…..but….he hasn’t….in fact, he’s appeased, and appeases, the existing machine….he continues to allow alderman to accept bribes….he’s allowed our cities’ health care system to collapse……he’s allowed our vital public transportation system to deteriorate to a point of no return…….he’s watched a mayor destroy a city airport in the middle of the night, without permission…..he’s watched, and continues to watch Chicago’s county President abuse his power, and misuse our tax dollars…….which is hard to do, considering Chicagoans pay the highest sales tax in the country.
And, to the Obama supporters that are supporting him because he did not vote for the war in Iraq.
WELL THAT’s JUST A FAIRY TALE……..
While it is true that he didn’t vote for the war………. Neither did I………..see Barack, like myself, and anyone who is probably reading this, was not in the US Senate when the vote was taken…….Obama wasn’t a Senator…..he was a schmo…a part-time politician, otherwise known as an Illinois state senator……he didn’t have a vote, he didn’t have the national intelligence data to make an informed decision….he had no say….ie. the vote is a fairy tale….
Not to Mention…………after seeing Obama’s preacher speak…one can get a grasp on the turf Obama was representing back in 2002, in the State Senate, when he spoke against the war…….Barack’s standing up against the war was about as courageous as my eating a bagel for breakfast this morning……I mean, when your preacher is equating the USA w/ Al Qaeda, in front of a cheering audience, 5 days after 9/11…….to stand up against the war, in fact any war…….is sort of a no-brainer.
Sadly, a year later, nothing has changed…..
The unions rule the day…..
The anti-war candidate continues to back two wars….
The gay rights activist who never marched in a single Chicago Gay Pride parade…..continues to support don’t ask don’t tell….and shows no support of gay marriage….
Political patronage, in which he was a willing participant in Chicago, continues in Washington under the leadership of machine maven Valerie Jarrett
And of course…..just as it was a year ago….the media remains silent…..
We don’t….
therefore, just like we were a year ago….
we remain….
racists….

SUPERINTENDENT OF THE NATION'S 5TH LARGEST SCHOOL DISTRICT TO STUDENTS REGARDING OBAMA ADDRESS: "YOU DON'T GET TO GO OUT IN THE HALL"…."YOU'RE THERE AND YOU'RE SILENT"

Broward Public Schools is the Fifth largest school district in the country. It is located in SE Florida…the nations capital of… men in their 50′s rocking shirts designed for boys in their teens, silicone implants, barbed-wire arm tattoos, Congresswomen who resemble carrot top, and the states largest concentration of Democrats….
Being that Broward houses the states largest concentration of self-proclaimed “liberals” one would think that tolerance, and open-mindedness would permeate through the school district, and civil disobedience would not only be tolerated, but actually encouraged…..
But, surprisingly, an article in today’s South Florida Sun-Sentinel, points out the opposite, below is a snippet:
In Broward County, students in the public schools won’t have a choice.
Broward Schools Superintendent James Notter wrote in a memo to principals Thursday that students will not be allowed to opt out of viewing Obama’s address. The district has encouraged civics education through programs such as Kids Voting Broward and by watching presidential inaugural addresses, Notter wrote, so letting students skip Obama’s speech “does not align with our practices and responsibility to provide a well-rounded, quality education for all students.”
That doesn’t mean all school activities will cease during Obama’s talk. Notter said schools can record the address and watch it later if the broadcast time conflicts with previously scheduled tests, field trips or other events.
In his opinion, Notter said in an interview, having children listen to the country’s elected leader “is some of the purest of civics education.” Letting them choose whether to not to attend would set a bad precedent, Notter said. He compared it to students who might object to saying the Pledge of Allegiance.
“You don’t get to go out into the hall,” Notter said. “You’re there and you’re silent.”
PERSONAL NOTE: a co-worker of my wife, who has two children attending school in the district, called the school district to confirm, and was told unequivocally, that if his children were not in attendance, they would be punished.

WHAT WOULD THE LEFT DO IF FOX ASKED GLENN BECK TO CO-HOST THEIR NFL SHOW?
I think we know the answer…
A man who referred to American troops in Iraq as Cold Blooded Killers….should not have this gig….plain and simple….
I believe in Olbermann’s right to freedom of speech, and I am not implying that sponsors boycott his show, Countdown (no need-his low ratings do the trick)….
What I am saying is…I think it is time to do the following:
-Express your displeasure to NBC sports: nbcsportshelp@nbcuni.com
-Season ticket holders should call their respective teams, and threaten to not buy tickets next year
-signage at games, calling for his dismissal (I’m sure the Hillbuzz guys can come up w/ some creative snark)
-encourage the athletes, and the vast number of Republican Head Coaches, not to grant interviews to NBC, out of respect to our troops (in particular, Pat Tillman), until his dismissal
I do not think it will be difficult to find broad consensus that listening to the orange, chubby, pretend Ivy league grad….who referred to a majority of Americans as tea baggers (for those who still don’t know…it means…you like men’s balls in your mouth-which understandably here, may not be offensive)……on Sunday nights…is just too much….

HOMICIDE, NOT SWINE FLU, PREVENTING CHICAGO PUBLIC SCHOOL CHILDREN FROM HEARING OBAMA INDOCTRINATION SPEECH NEXT WEEK
Unfortunately, the epidemic which has been plaguing Chicago’s public schools for the last few years is not the swine flu….it’s homicide.
While the left-wing bloggers….and the water carrying media….continue to further the narrative that anyone who opposes the big government policies of congress, or the President, is Racist…..
Minority school children are being slain in tragically record numbers….
and these same people remain silent….
this to me is racist….

After being inspired by our President’s beautiful tribute to Ramadan today, in which Americans are again reminded of all of the great contributions of Muslims, in particular their community service in the US…..
…ALL Muslim hospitals, in the US, have agreed to provide care to ALL of Americas indigent….
…Health care problem solved….
I can’t wait for Obama’s sukkot tribute…..I’m sure the Jewish people will be inspired to provide sukkah tents for all of America’s homeless….
UPDATE: There are no muslim hospitals…..back to the townhall meetings.
