American Chopper Meets Sarah Palin
We have no idea what American Chopper is, but apparently it’s some sort of TV show about machines, motorcycles, or the like.
Recently, the show took a trip up to Alaska and had the chance to meet with Governor Sarah Palin.

American Chopper is a show where they build custom made bikes within a certain time frame with a theme in mind. It’s extremely creative.
Obviously, the Gov is a big fan. She gave who we presume is the show’s host a great big bear hug.
We just really love this woman — keep hoping she runs in 2012.
Yeah…they are located in upper New York state, I believe, and I think that guy was at a campaign event with her as well..
Did you notice how she greeted and hugged these guys? She’s a Hugger! My favorite kind of people. LOL

She’s warm and genuine. God, I like her more every day! And she’s SMART (that’s right, elitist a’holes) and sporting and makes good sense.

American Chopper is basically like a FOX cartoon show, like Simpsons or King of the Hill, except it has real people in it instead of cartoons.
I still love that YouTube video with the bear! That just made my day. I live such a boring life.
You know what I liked? He asked her if they did snowmobiling; and she doesn’t “enlighten” him about how, um, YES!, her husband is a champ with snowmachines. She just graciously says that yes, they enjoy motorsports. And I like that she invites them to come up in the summer and go fishing. She is so gracious and friendly.
We’re trying to get up to Alaska in August to meet her in person there — would love to go fishing! There’s a slim chance we can pull this off, but if we do, guarantee we’ll do 24/7 nonstop coverage of that trip of a lifetime.
WOW you are SO lucky!1 I want to go up to Alaska too(I’m in California) Alaska looks like such a gorgeous state, and it’s actually hot there right now. I saw the report on TV, its 75 degrees in Anchorage and I was like HOLY COW!! It would be a dream come true for me to meet Sarah. I just love everything about her, she is beautiful inside and out. I think I would be tongue-tied if I met her in person, I would have NO clue what to say. I’ve talked to so many who have met her in person, and I am SO jealous because they have had the opportunity I wish to have one day. If you do meet her, it will be an experience you will never forget, and oh yeah, post everything that happens, we want details!!
I just love her accent.

She’s just the real deal, man.
She is the real deal, which is why the libs are scared to death of her. Libs hate real women, they hate women who are pro-life, praise God, and aren’t afraid to speak out for what is right, and I LOVE her accent too. Is her accent from Idaho(since that is where she was born) I’ve talked to people from Idaho before and they don’t have that accent, it sounds more Minnesotan to me, but her Mom and Dad didn’t get the accent, it must have skipped a generation
I’m from the Puget Sound region, Washington State. We do drop our g’s quite often. If we have to we can keep ‘em in. The first time I heard her it was very natural.
They compare her accent to the movie Fargo. I don’t find it that broad, but there is a bounce. She also has Canadian influence. Growing up we watched Canadian t.v., too. If I go up to British Columbia or Alberta for any length of time my family tells me I’m talking Canadian again when I come back.
It’s people from the east coast; I have trouble understanding their accents.

From what I’ve seen of Paul Teutul, he’s one of those intimidating guys who’d just as soon spit on you or punch you in the head as say hi to you, but look how Sarah bounced right up to him and gave him a big ol’ hug! And then, a couple minutes later, catch the look on his face–he’s completely enchanted with her!

Orange County Choppers is in mid-state NY, not upstate. It is in Orange County in the mid-Hudson valley. My son is in a dayhab program for young adults with disabilities and they went there for a look see about 2-3 weeks ago. They do custom bikes.
