Allen West: The Man Who Should Have Delivered the State of the Union Address Response (or the Address itself, actually)
So, that’s Congressman Allen West in the clips above…kicking a$$ and taking names on television. Like he does every day. He is the only elected official currently in office that someone could make a marketable action figure for.
This is the man who the Republican Party should put in front of TV cameras to deliver things like the State of the Union Response last night.
Instead, the Cocktail Party GOP establishment put forward, well, THIS…
Mitch Daniels is probably a very nice man, but he’s not ever going to set the world on fire.
He’s the male version of Kathleen Sebelius:
Why present this as the best the party has to offer on such a high profile night when you could have had Allen West do this and knock it out of the stratosphere?
The Party of Stupid fumbles yet again.

Is there some sort of rule or law that says the response to the SOTU must include high praise of the president? This wasn't as bad as Jindal performing felatio on Obama in 2009 but was still nauseating enough for me to stop watching a few seconds after starting it.
Well, I just watched the the first couple of minutes of the democrat response to Bush by Sebelius, as bad as it was, she did not praise Bush at all, so maybe it is just a Republican rule of high praise. Then again I didn't watch the whole thing so maybe she did give Bush kudos further in to her speech.
Exactly, Kevin. Daniels was even more boring than Obama. When are Republicans going to learn?

Allen West is dreamy.
I heart him.
In this time of mortal danger to our Republic and our freedoms, America needs a great leader to step forth who will stand up to the forces of evil and restore our nation to its place of greatness.
America needs Allen West as President. He is a combat hardened leader who will take on and defeat the commiecrat president and his party.
You are so right. Can you imagine if Allen West had delivered the response to Obuttma's sewage outflow of lies which was mis-labeled the State of the Union Address? Can you imagine the impact of comparing Allen West to Obuttma? It would have been awesome.
Of course, Kevin, you know that the cocktail party haaaaates Alan West.
I love, love, love Allen West!! If I could vote for him for anything at all, I would. And yes, Tamminator, he is VERY dreamy!!
