ACTION ITEM: Identify the horcurxes the Left relies on to maintain power
Earlier today, we ran a story about Congressman Andre Carson shamelessly shouting RAAACISM! at the Tea Party, since the Left is losing so much power on a daily basis and the only weapon the Alinsky Rule book could summon was to accuse people of being racists in an effort to shut them up and stifle resistance to what the Left’s doing to this country.
It’s a classic, desperate move by the Left.
It’s also part of something bigger than just Andre Carson and others in the Race Industry like him.
I’ve written for a while about how much the Left relies on identity-based goon squads to attack conservatives and Christians along ethnic, cultural, and religious lines…to distract from substantive arguments at hand and instead degenerate things into bullying shouting matches.
It reminds me of the horcruxes in the Harry Potter books, which the evil Lord Voldemort and his Death Eaters relied upon to keep Voldemort alive and his power flowing. The horcruxes were cursed objects containing bits of Voldemort’s soul, hidden throughout the Potterverse, many of them prestigious items with historical meaning.
I really see the Left in these terms — and believe the Left’s power is vested in certain things that have never been addressed simultaneously for what they really are.
One horcrux is definitely the Race Industry….which, like the Carson example today, the Left relies upon to shout, scream, and wail while hurling nasty pejoratives at Republicans. The Race Card is the favored weapon, and any Republican standing up to the Left is called a RAAACIST! in order to marginalize and ostracize that person and render him or her ineffective.
Another horcrux is the gay community…which the Left uses to call conservatives and Christians HOMOPHOBES! in order to avoid substantive discussions and instead focus on attacking these messengers. Republican women, in particular, are attacked viciously by the gay community, with gays calling anyone who hits back…you guessed it…a HOMOPHOBE!
What are the other horcruxes the Left depends on to stay in power?
The point of this exercise is to help people who don’t pay much attention to politics to begin seeing how all of this screaming and yelling from different minority groups is really all related, and how it all sums together to serve a purpose the Left depends on.
Without these horcruxes, the Left would be rendered quite mortal and defenseless.
Just like with Voldemort, if we systematically identify and destroy these repositories of the Left’s power, we destroy the Left itself.

They use religion against Republicans, casting anyone of faith as an "anti-science, crazy Christian" who wants to force his/her religion on you and turn America into a theocracy. That's why they always ask Republican candidates whether or not they believe in evolution (as if this were a pertinent topic to say, running the country), stem-cell research (never making a distinction between embryonic vs. adult stem cells), and global warming. And anyone one who is deemed "anti-science" is automatically "stupid". They've got this stereotype that a person can't believe in God AND science, as it these two topics were mutually exclusive.
This isn’t about a minority faction, per se, but look at what happened in Wisconsin, earlier this year. When it became clear that the Republicans were going to cut into the corrupt relationship between public employee unions and their allies in the Democratic Party, the Left went NUTS. They shipped in goons from out of state, the Democrats in the state legislature fled to Rockford, and the in-state teachers went AWOL so they could go to Madison for the protest rallies.
The law passed in spite of all of this, and now the majority of school districts in WI have balanced budgets.
Scott Walker and the Republicans in the Wisconsin legislature put forth a model that is now being emulated in other states. The more places this can happen, the less taxpayer money gets diverted into the slush funds of union leadership, and thence into the campaign funds of Democratic party members.
They use intellectuals and ivy-league representatives to paint any candidate who's did not go to an ivy-league school or has taken a non-standard career path as an idiot, regardless of whatever post-collegiate experience the candidate may have (such as running their own business, military service). They paint these candidates as both "stupid", and their favorite put-down "intellectually incurious".
Part 2:
Most importantly, the race attacks are targeting the democratic base, who is leaving the party in droves during the 2012 election. There is no need to attack the conservatives with race since they did not vote for BHO in 2008. And race attacks are not going to alter the conservative mindset. I know from my own observations, that the tea party is spoken of derisively in black churchs by the senior pastors. In addition, the tea party is being blamed for every conceivable thing – much the same way GWB is blamed for everything – on urban radio talk formats. This even includes the latest hurricane Irene that resulted in flooding in VT. It was the tea partys fault that the clean up was so slow because services had been cut.!! There is no doubt the tea party has been effective, and despite the coverup by the press, the democrats have felt the impact of the November 2008 conservative landslide. The attempt to correlate tea party members with 'conservative christianity' is a sub-text of the race attack.
I'll split this:
The means by which the Dems and the left maintain power are in a process of changing.
The Dems, since the 1960s, have relied upon a rather unstable alliance of African Americans, white union members, gays, rabid leftists, the ultra wealthy, the ultra poor, Jews and immigrants, especially Hispanics.
It's unstable precisely because many of those groups loathe each other and/or have different plans for the future. So they are trying to freeze some out, give some up and streamline the whole process by including fewer groups.
Gays: They don't seem to realise it, but the Dems are reducing their dependence on their vote and money – ethnic minorities, who provide far more votes, tend to despise them. For all the talk of how nasty those Republicans are, even the Dems who are inclined to give gays what they want dare not do so, for fear of antagonising the blacks and Hispanics.
Jews: The Dems have largely given up on the Jews, who have been slowly but surely moving to the GOP for several decades now. Apart from the ultra wealthy Jews who donate to them (who are basically like the ultra wealthy Gentiles in their detachment from the mainstream of their group) the Jews are considered a lost cause. That's why the left is increasingly blatant about its anti Semitism – the Jewish mainstream is becoming more Orthodox and politically conservative.
Hispanics: The plan is to bring in millions more Hispanic voters, which is the reason the Dems are so insistent on Amnesty. They're growing sick of the reliance on the blacks. Yes African Americans vote 95% Democrat, but they cost a lot of public money and do not vote in great numbers. This is due to a combination of voter apathy and the fact that so many are barred by prior felonies. The Hispanics do *better* in all measures, and tend to vote in higher numbers and are reliably Democrat. The black Democrats can't object because their districts are now so heavily Hispanic that they would be voted out if they went against it.
Many Hispanics are conservatives, I will never forget POTUS saying "punish your enemies"
The very rich: One of the most foolish decisions the Cocktail Party ever made was to take the Democratic Party's rhetoric at face value. The Dems are not the party of the poor. They are the party of Big Business. The corporatist big business gives the money, and accepts the regulation, and in return the Dems kneecap their small and medium competition.
This is important to remember, because the Dems are now using the ultra wealthy as their Horcrux – publicly. Look at Warren Buffet calling for higher taxes, even though his company has taken advantage of every tax loophole in the book. Even though he could just write a cheque. Even though he is calling for taxes on *income*, while studiously refusing to consider taxing his enormous *wealth*. Put it this way, he's not calling for a 10% on his $40 billion fortune – he wants taxes that will affect small and medium business owners who haven't built up his kind of wealth and who are trying to compete.
But Buffet and his ilk will be the stars of the Dems' propaganda. They will be used to contradict any claims that the Dems are anti business. I know I go on about him, but if the truth about his corporatism and shady dealings is not exposed, he will be the most effective weapon for Obamanomics. And Buffet will make money off of it.

Republicans want the poor to starve or "die quickly" if they become ill.
If you do not believe in Global Warming you're in favor of massive pollution.

There are many. getting rid of just a few will prevent Democrats getting majorities. getting rid of all of them will stop the Democrats winning a singal state Assembly seat.

I like the analogy to horcruxes. Particularly, I think it is worth contemplating which issues or groups count as horcruxes and which represents the soul of Voldemort himself (i.e the uniting thread behind all of the lesser issues). I suppose there will be disagreements over this, but here is my take:
Tom Riddle's Diary = Hollywood/MSM: These folks claim to be showing you the truth but they are really trying to get inside your head and recreate reality in a way that suits them. They will never admit to being biased and even claim to be rendering "Special Service to the School", but they are always serving their own agenda.
Gaunt's Ring/Resurrection Stone = Blacks and Other Minorities: Like the stone, the Civil Rights Movement was originally a worthy cause. The trouble is, the injustice that it was created to rectify is pretty much gone. Segregation and other institutional discrimination are long gone, but the left just won't let them die.
Harry's Scar = Jews: This really should have preceded Nagini in the order of destruction, but I place it here to emphasize two points. 1) This really does not belong on the list of horcruxes, just like the Jews really never should have gotten involved with the left. 2) The left is likely to destroy this one (as others have noted above) without our help.
Voldemort Himself = Anti-Judeo/Christian Hatred: There are other names you could use to describe the thing hated here: Western Civilization, American Exceptionalism, the Common Law Tradion, etc. But, in my view, the uniting thread is a rejection of the moral precepts that underlie European civilization and those are largely transmitted through the Bible. They will claim that they are simply against religious bigotry, but (as has been pointed out numerous times on this blog) they have no problem supporting far from liberal Islamic practices, even when their own values are threatened. However, this prejudice can not be truly attacked until all (or at least most) of the above supports are taken out, which is why I really like the horcrux analogy.
Horcruxes:
- Rewriting history + owning the schools/colleges that teach the history
- PC-ness
- Splitting rights & responsibilities. (People have rights; govt has the responsibility to provide X, Y, Z for the people. The ant has the responsibility to provide for the grasshopper; the grasshopper has the right to the ant's stuff.)
- "Unions protect the entire working class"
- Class warfare ("There is no middle class. There are the super rich, and there are the rest of us.")
- Faux News. (Contradictory information is labeled lies, false, etc with no proof or discussion.)
I think that the biggest horcrux is "non news" entertainment. Last night I was taking care of a patient who had their TV on closed captions. No sound. "Law and Order" was on. Law and Order can't get through any episode without preaching a liberal talking point. Last night, it was gun control.
After watching for a short while, you could begin to predict when someone was going to make a profound, important, bombastic liberal comment: body language would change, the camera would zoom in. The reason I mention all this is you could probably witness the exact same thing on you name it lawyer show or sitcom. Conservative bashing, male bashing, religon bashing, gun bashing,
tea party bashing. 24/7, no let up.
Anyway, try turning off the sound sometime on one of these shows. It leaps out at you much more when you're reading the liberal propoganda, rather then the suggestive sell of hearing it.
