A Mafia-Style Solution to Iran’s Nuclear Weapons Crisis
It isn’t funny when anyone dies but there’s something very amusing about what’s currently happening in Iran….more specifically…in Iran’s nuclear community. On Wednesday, an Iranian nuclear scientist was the victim of a car bomb in Tehran….bringing the total to 5 nuclear scientists killed by mysterious explosions or accidents in the past 2 years. Wednesday’s car bomb could have been a scene straight out of The Sopranos. Mostafa Ahmadi Roshan,who was deputy director of the Natanz enrichment facility, was sitting in his car…minding his own business…when 2 people on a motorcycle pulled up and slapped a magnetic bomb on his car after which they sped away. Roshan didn’t have time to react before…KABOOM. Of course, Iranian officials are blaming Israel for the whole thing….which is probably pretty accurate. Why go to war over Iran’s nuclear weapons program when you can quietly and effectively stop it…one nuclear scientist at a time.
This has to be putting a damper on the progress of Iran’s nuclear weapons program. I’m thinking that being a nuclear scientist in Iran isn’t a very desirable position right now. In fact….Yid with a Lid sums it up perfectly…

We'll never know for sure, but it could be Iranians who know that having a nuclear device in the hands of the crazy people who are "in charge" of Iran right now would NOT be a good thing for their country. I do believe most of the people of Iran would love to live in a peaceful country, not at the hands of the wackos! A few years ago, I had my computer repaired by an Iranian who called himself "Persian" and kept telling me how happy he was that he was able to escape from Persia just as "we" (Jimmy Carter) were deposing the Shah and come to this great country. I can't believe he's the only one from Iran who feels that way.
I had thoughts along the same line. Could it be that some of these scientists might want to either defect or blow the whistle?
I still refuse to believe its Israel. My gut instinct says its Saudi Arabia. All these bombings in the south of Iran just give me this continued vibe.
Saudi Arabia itself would not be officially behind any of the bombings, but that would not stop others who are members of Al Qaeda being involved…. no, my money is not on Saudi Arabia.
However, the Saudis have many good reasons to prevent the nuclear reactors from being built, and ditto for the Jordanians, and the Qatari, as well as the UAE. There are lots of possibilities out there.
Perhaps the people behind these killings come from Lebanon. Another possibility is that it is the work of the Basij. Pure speculation (not at all true) but what if these scientists who have been killed have been found out in that they have been working with the Israelis to delay the finished project. What if they had done something to cause those explosions that happened recently.
A few weeks ago there were explosions at some nuclear facilities and no one was saying what caused the explosions. What if the explosions were caused by one of the now dead scientists? We simply do not know what really happened.
Iran is always blaming Israel.
Iranians for the most part, except for the Islamist whack-jobs that are so deep into the Mohhammed thing are good people who want nothing to do with Ahma-din-a-not-job and his religious goons running the country. Problem: Obama would not support them and they know it. Obama wants America to fall to socialism before Iran can come out of their own mess.
