[Click above to embiggen: people are specifically chosen based on race/appearance/Diversity! quotient to be on-camera during a political candidate’s speeches. There is no way that the Muslim Orlando Shooter’s father, Seddique Mateen, was not purposely hand-selected to stand where he was during Hillary’s speech.]
Everyone is talking about the bizarre occurrence of the Muslim Orlando Shooter’s father, Seddique Mateen, being prominently positioned directly behind Hillary Clinton at a campaign rally in Florida. The Media is trying to write this story as if it was just a coincidence and it happened by chance…but that’s not how these rallies work. The people standing behind the candidate are heavily stage-managed for optics and “Diversity!”.
The truth is that every campaign has someone who creates a human backdrop for a candidate…and that means if a white candidate is running, they want to have as many black people and Hispanic people or Asian people as possible directly behind the candidate so they appear in every shot like props. (If a black candidate is running, then the opposite is true…and as many old white people as possible are shoved into the frame to create the optics that white people love that particular black candidate.) The campaign wants nice looking people in that spot. People who do not look crazy. People who look like the type of neighbors and friends everyone wants to have.
There’s an article on Yahoo that calls this “creating a tapestry,” but what it’s really about is avoiding any problems with optics. A campaign wants to take away Internet trolls’ ability to call the candidate racist for not having any black people at the rally…so staffers obsessively look for black people to stand behind the candidate. Next, they look for brown people after they’ve got the black people covered. Then they look for Asians. They must have someone who is in a wheelchair or has Down Syndrome or has some other visual handicap as well. If possible, they find a flamboyantly young, cute gay guy to throw in there too. After that, they fill the “tapestry” with nice-looking people of different ages who seem like they would be good on camera, would pay attention, and would cheer where appropriate. None of this is random or is ever left to chance.
The way these people are selected is simple: as attendees are lined up to get into the event, there are staffers looking at the people lined up like they are casting agents selecting the perfect “Diversity!” mix for the show. All the staffers have clipboards and charts of the event seating area. I don’t know how the Clinton campaign is operating in 2016, but back in 2008 I went to many events and staffers would hand out VIP wristbands or VIP tickets of some kind and that would get people into the special areas that would be on camera. It was HEAVILY controlled. No one would get into that area behind a candidate unless the campaign wanted that person there and the person was given the right ticket or wrist band to go over there. The event attendees who are ugly, strange in any way, or who were not the right look “Diversity!”-wise would be shunted off like cattle away from the cameras and never thought about again.
I don’t think the campaign has the names of most people who come to these events. In 2008, you could either register in advance to get in (and get a ticket to print out) or you could just show up and wait in line. Back then, Hillary Clinton events were VERY well-attended. That does not seem to be the case this go-around (because she’s apparently only attracting crowds in the hundreds and not the thousands), but in 2008 she would get large throngs of people. Sometimes it would just be for the musical guest or other celebrities she had in attendance. I remember one event I went to in Indianapolis had John “Stop calling me Cougar” Mellencamp singing; people were actually fighting to get into that campaign stop, but they would openly admit they were just there to hear a free Mellencamp concert. People in Indiana go nuts over John “My name is not Cougar no more” Mellencamp.
But, even events where it was just Hillary and local politicians taking the stage were packed. There was an excitement in the 2008 primary race that I don’t think will ever be matched again in my lifetime. People came out for the spectacle…or would drive across state lines to see Hillary in person (as my friends and I did to many states throughout the primary race). Some people came to see what color pantsuit Hillary would wear that day (this was a big meme back then, as Hillary ran through the rainbow of every color possible of the same exact style of pantsuit). During their respective events, Obama and Hillary would take snipes at each other that would make the news…so people wanted to be there to see and hear what would later be replayed over and over again on the tee-vee. They wanted to be there in case something interesting or important happened. It was this months-long soap opera that everyone was glued to, even Republicans.
In the 8 years since 2008, I imagine the campaign staff has gotten much better at being able to figure out who is in line to enter the event (and even who is thinking of coming to an event in the future). Remember that social media and smart phones and all that were just starting to be a thing in 2008. Most people still had flip phones that could barely take pictures, let alone social network.
Here in 2016, it’s impossible that Hillary’s campaign staff did not know that the father of the Muslim who murdered 49 people in an Orlando gay bar was in line for a Hillary event. “Seddique Mateen” had to be on a Secret Service list of names. I would imagine that the immediate family members of all terrorists or mass-murderers are on some kind of watch list. Wouldn’t it make sense to have that, since these people could be upset about their relatives being killed or arrested and possibly they’d want to avenge them (or continue their killing sprees)? Since Orlando just happened in June, wouldn’t the SS be watching all of Mateen’s relatives closely…and wouldn’t the SS alert the campaign that Mateen’s father was coming to visit Hillary in Florida?
What I think happened with Seddique Mateen is that Huma Abedin or someone else very high up in the campaign was informed that the Muslim father of the Orlando shooter would be coming to the event…and Huma was thrilled by that development.
Because Huma is Muslim, it would be her nature to want to give preference to a fellow Muslim. That’s just tribalism and it’s a fact that Muslims very openly favor other Muslims over others, for the Koran tells them to do exactly that. Putting aside the fact that Seddique Mateen is the father of a mass-murderer for a moment, the fact that he’s a Muslim alone made him a VIP to the Hillary campaign due to Huma’s influence over the campaign…and so he would have been identified by staffers as someone to for sure put back behind Hillary so he could be part of the “Diversity!” on display during shots of her stump speech.
Muslims view mass-murderers as heroes of Islam and it appears to be routine in Muslim countries that the parents of suicide bombers and other murderers-in-the-name-of-Allah become cult figures in their neighborhoods. Muslims view the parents of murderers with the same social pride and status elevation as we in the West would view parents who raised children who became brain surgeons or decorated police or military officers. Muslims seem to take great pride in knowing the parent of someone who went on a killing spree shouting Aluha Akbar! as he massacred dozens. Because Seddique Mateen is the father of the Muslim who killed more people in one massacre than any massacre since 9/11 on US soil, it looks like Muslims are treating this man like he’s an honored celebrity.
The reason I think Huma’s fingerprints are all over this is because I believe basic security concerns would have had to have been overruled to get this specific Muslim to be up there right behind Hillary’s shoulder so he could be seen over and over again. Huma has a lot of logistical power on the 2016 campaign. If you observe her when there’s a live feed, she’s calling the shots, giving directions, and people defer to her. Hillary is not making any decisions on her own at these events…and in truth no candidate ever does. They are taken somewhere, told when they go on, and they focus on delivering their performance to the crowd. Someone else takes care of all the details for the event running smoothly. In this case with Seddique Mateen, it’s clear that SOMEONE who knew exactly who he was wanted him to have a place of great honor at the event. That someone could only have been Huma Abedin, herself a Saudi Muslim.
In 2008, Huma was not nearly as powerful as she is now. Eight years ago, Huma was holding Hillary’s purse and cell phone and came running when Hillary wanted gum or candy. She would walk about 10 steps behind Hillary at events, juggling papers and collecting the little gifts and other things that people brought to give Hillary. If someone wanted to get Hillary’s attention or pass a message to her, the way to do it back then was to shout “HUMA!” and get Huma’s attention…since back then hardly anyone knew who Huma was. She was just a pretty, dark-haired woman holding two purses (her own and Hillary’s) and trying to manage a bunch of phones. She reminded me of the Anne Hathaway character in The Devil Wears Prada. Hillary was a totally different person back then: she was in control, she was take-charge, and she didn’t need anyone holding her up or telling her what to say or making sure she didn’t have freak-outs or seizures in public.
In 2016, Huma is clearly running the show (and something is definitely wrong with Hillary health-wise). She’s not carrying purses or juggling phones now. There is someone who carries her purse now. I believe that after Huma was told that the father of the Muslim Orlando shooter was coming to the event that Huma’s reaction to that would have been one of: This is wonderful! We have to put him where he can be seen! He is a hero to the Muslim community!
I think this is a reflection of how out of touch the elite are with how normal people in America feel. The elite are ruled by political correctness and values-signaling. To them, having the father of a mass-murderer front and center at an event proves how enlightened and nonjudgmental they are…and how much they respect Islam. They are not holding the sins of the son against the father. They believe that guns — not Islam — are to blame for Orlando, so they think to prove that then they should have the father of the shooter up front and center in a prominent spot. Their weird and twisted logic is that the father doesn’t own guns and hates guns and it doesn’t matter that he’s Muslim because Democrats insist that Islam had nothing to do with the shooting. The campaign is also acknowledging that Muslims like what happened in Orlando and that Muslims view the shooter as a hero to Islam…and as such the shooter’s father is someone to be revered as well. Hence, the campaign’s inclination to give that man a place of honor behind Hillary.
The man who sired the mass-murderer who executed gay people in the name of Islam was treated like a VIP guest at a Hillary Clinton campaign event. This is the world we live in. This is how far Islam has come into subjugating our culture.
What’s interesting to me is how out of touch Democrats are with both reality and even some sane people in the Media on this one. I saw a video of an Orlando area newscast where the talking heads were all aghast that this happened, that Seddique Mateen was treated like an honored guest at this event. Local reporters are not as bad as national reporters in terms of being part of the Democrats’ propaganda machine, but no one working in Media can survive if he or she does not toe the Left’s line. Even local reporters regurgitate the approved talking points because all Media really is just an arm of the state at this point. But on rare occasions, the masks slip and local reporters show a disgust or scorn for whatever crazy thing the Left is trying to push…and that was seen when they were talking about the Muslim Orlando shooter’s father getting that place of prominence at Hillary’s event. The local news team could not believe what they were seeing. They broke protocol by being outraged that the Hillary campaign did this.
They reacted to it as if someone told them that Jeffrey Dahmer’s relatives were honored guests at the event. As well they should have. That is precisely the appropriate reaction when you learn that the parent of a mass-murderer was put up on stage behind a presidential candidate because the campaign wanted the world to see him there.
There is 0% chance that Seddique Mateen wandered into the auditorium and just haplessly shuffled along until he found his way to that specific spot, like he was Forrest Gump stumbling into a historic moment by accident. He was chosen by Hillary staffers to specifically go into that section. And then I believe that he was selected personally by Huma Abedin to be right where he could be seen at all times. He wasn’t just in the general area where he could show up on camera…he was in a specific placement where it was GUARANTEED he would be shown at all times. That’s what Huma wanted and it’s what Huma got.
Look closely at the video. Notice there is a black woman very prominently shown in every shot. I have no idea who that woman is because she’s just a black woman who showed up to the event and is not famous. But the campaign wanted to make sure a black woman was shown in every single shot of Hillary’s speech, for the optics of it. There’s no reason a man with a mustache and red hat would need to be shown in every shot…except that the man with the mustache was the father of the Orlando shooter and someone in the Hillary campaign (I think it was Huma herself) felt it was important that he be there and have the same prominence in terms of “optics” as the black woman and other people selected for “the tapestry” behind the candidate.
Democrats keep doubling and tripling down on there being nothing wrong with Islam. It’s because Democrats really want to believe that…since that’s the utopia they wish we all could live in. The reality is that Islam is a violent, regressive, bigoted, homophobic, misogynistic, death cult bent on global conquest. Only idiots think otherwise in the face of continuously mounting evidence that Islam is at war with the West. Which is why only idiots would ever vote Democrat for anyone ever again.
Hillary’s 2016 campaign is one of the strangest campaigns I’ve ever seen. She has a lot of Obama people working for her now, with almost no one from the 2008 Hillary campaign still around. On top of that, she’s running the most pro-Islam political campaign ever run on American soil. As a gay man, the whole thing is horrifying. As someone who worked so hard for Hillary back in 2008, I’m just disgusted in new ways every single day by how far she has fallen and how much influence Huma has been allowed to have. It’s all so shameful.
