60 Minutes: The Biggest Corrupt Media Organization Ever
I’m watching 60 Minutes at this very second, and I’ve already noticed how they are manipulating Mitt Romney.
1) Make-up on Romney is freaky orange. Since I work in the media business, I know this is done on purpose. They did it to McCain, and they would leave his neck white. He looked like a clown freak.
2) The interviewer(I don’t even care who these people are anymore) is shot in a medium shot, and Romney is shot in an extreme close-up, and cuts off the top of his head. BIG ORANGE FACE WITH NO TOP OF HEAD. If you don’t think that people are influenced by this freaky looking face, then you are wrong. Romney looks like an overly tan “rich” guy, which is how the media will consistently try to portray him.
For God’s sake, candidates need to learn how they are being manipulated just by their make-up. I warn anyone that I know who is conservative to hire their own make-up artist. You don’t think that the CBS makeup artist did this on purpose because her boss ordered her to do it? Come ON.
I love the hard questions that Romney was asked. Too bad they don’t ask the same questions of Obama.
Now, Obama is on, and his hair is wisps of gray, and guess what? He is in the same medium shot as Scott Pelley. Wow. So obvious. Obama is given softball questions, smiling, and joking, and claiming he’s cut taxes. Lie, lie and lie, and no hard ball questions. Pathetic.
Just watch the difference in make-up, and the camera shots. I just gave you a lesson in media manipulation.
Pay attention. And notice the softball questions given to Obama.
Learn, and pass it on, HillBuzzers. Love ya!
Pathetic.
**UPDATE: Look at Obama’s eyes. Dead. Defeated. “Whatever”. Watch this show again on replay, and you will see what I’m seeing. I’m teaching a class on this, and I know what I’m saying. Also not, how Romney is in hard studio lighting, and Mister “light bringer” is now interviewed in natural lighting. If you don’t know what that means, then get clued in:
Romney: artificial. Obama: natural.
MANIPULATION.

Oh I’m so glad someone else saw this. When we were watching the convention we were making jokes about “some guy who opened the spray tan booth in the lobby is cleaning up” but, no one else mentioned it and so I thought it was our television. There were a lot of orange folks at the convention.
I literally wrote my first email to a campaign trying to explain to them that make up and lighting are your friend if you control them.
Earlier I mentioned that joe scarborough got himself a new thick dark pair of glasses. He had a make over as some days he wasn’t on his program. He’s trying to appear to be a conservative even though everything that comes out of his mouth is regular democrat from a far away time. But hey what are you going to believe? Your lyin ears or your eyes?
Did they ask Obama….”If you could be any tree, what kind of tree would you be?”
I bet they did! I bet they did!
Thanks Tamminator for watching so we don’t have to.
Obama as a natural? Natural Idiot is all!
Natural Born Killer
Watching the leftist media is either amusing or downright sad. It is so apparent that the questions they ask Republicans or Conservatives are meant to try to trap them or paint them in a bad light. The questions that Obama gets are favorite color, his most reflective moment in the White House, or who he will pick for NBA champs. What’s next Bo’s favorite type of dog food?
The makeup issue goes right along with that. Remember the horrendous front cover of Newsweek with Michelle Bachmann and that awful face that they surely took delight in using. She is a lovely woman for God’s sake but they used possibly one of the worst shots of her possible. I rarely watch the mainstream media anymore due to their blatant bias. How do the lefties get away with the Faux News garbage when some of these reporters on other lefty media are completely in the tank for the Democrats and Obama. It is fun however to occasionally watch John Sununu make ground chuck out of Andrea Mitchell and Soledad O’Brien
I AM LOVING John Sununu speaking out for Romney. I absolutely love it when he goes after those lefty journOlist’s!
I know he’s making leftie heads explode too! We have some friends in New Hampshire who are extremely connected politically. They know Sununu personally, and usually just talk about him like he’s a clown, a buffoon. These days they’re talking about him like he’s the Anti-Christ! Sounds to me like he’s hitting a big old nerve, and swaying public opinion away from the left. You go, John!
Of course, these same people spent about an hour one evening trying to convince me that Joe Biden really is intelligent, it’s just kind of hard to find the intelligence sometimes because he’s such a non-stop talker. Basically they ended up sticking to the idea that Biden is actually smart, but he usually forgets to put his brain in gear before engaging his mouth. And once he engages his mouth, he can’t seem to shut it off.
Of course, when we talk to our friends in Delaware, they say, no, Biden really is an idiot.
Thanks for posting this, Tamminator. I recorded it but am not sure if I even want to watch it. I predicted today that it would go pretty much like you said it went. Here was my prediction:
Questions to candidates:
Mr Romney — tell us in 10 words or less how you will completely turn this economy around, and please be specific.
Mr. Obama — who picked out your tie? It really goes with your eyes.
I expect nothing less from the Communist Broadcast System (CBS).
I watched part of Romney’s turn to speak and thought he did ok besides the freaky orange skin. This piece was highly editted too. Whoever the liberal shill asking him questions was, you could clearly tell he had an agenda. I switch to football before watching any of Obama’s lies. I didn’t want to make myself ill.
Sorry guys,
I think 60 minutes worked for Romney. He was asked tough questions by that prick Pelley and did well. His answers were substantive. As for Obama and the chin grabbing Kroft- just another round of softballs. The folks (starting to hate the word- thanks Barry) who watch 60 minutes, are seniors and voters. This isn’t the View. I think Romney came off very well as a serious candidate.
I disagree. I think “60 Minutes” is The View without the shrill idiot females – well, except for Lesley Stahl. That show has a history of dishonest reporting. I haven’t watched it in over 20 years, after they tried to take down several businesses I was a loyal customer of. Talk about being one-sided! They haven’t tried to disguise their bias for over 30 years!
The TV got left on after the football game this afternoon and I saw Romney as I walked through the living room during 60 Minutes. I thought he looked a tad orange, but a football coach looked purple this afternoon (referee call maybe?) so I thought perhaps the TV needed adjusting. Guess not, since everyone saw it.
The Weekly Standard’s Daniel Halper is reporting that 60 Minutes skipped airing some of the Obama interview dealing with mistakes in his campaign ads. It’s online in the 60 Minutes clip.

Hope it’s still up on CBS for you.
This is why I do not watch network news or news shows or read newspapers or news magazines anymore, Their bias is too unfair and sometimes downright cruel. Who can forget The Atlantic cover of Senator John McCain, a former POW, U.S. Senator, father and cancer survivor, whose face was poorly lighted to appear sinister and evil by some hatefilled Liberal photographer. Or when an extreme close-up photograph of Governor Sarah Palin without much make-up so as to accentuate her pores and slight mustache, was used for a Newsweek cover. Yet the same Liberal media sycophants give the POTUS a halo and the FLOTUS the cover of Vogue.
How this person can look at herself or even call herself a ” make-up artist” is beyond me. She is a worthless piece of garbage, much like her bosses. She stood there painting Governor Mitt Romneya bright orange color while they probably exchanged pleasantries and light conversation, all the while knowing full well what she was doing to this kind, decent, and hard-working family man.
As if their snide comments, complicated questions, sneering and condescending demeanor weren’t enough, these unprofessional Liberal hacks must also use make-up, lighting, and camera angles to get their political potshots across in their ongoing effort to control the dissemination of information and how it is viewed by the masses.
Thanks Kevin…you rock.

As a member of acting in Indie Films, No applause TY, it is true how a make-up artist can make ya, or break ya, within a given role you are scheduled to play. If Romney was not aware of such nuances, he should FIRE his Staff. tonight. Seeking to find those of us more qualified in presenting him a much more favorable light. ( Hint Hint)
I liked Romney’s responses on LEADERSHIP, LIMITED GOVERNMENT and REDUCED SPENDING.
I wish, in response to “flipflopping,” he had mentioned Obama’s “I’ll reduce the deficit in half by the end of my first term” promise.
As far as “are 14% Capital Gains taxes ‘fair’”, goes… well, with no risk, there is is no reward. That after-tax money (after being taxed as income, NOT taxed twice) is INVESTED at a risk. Taking risk is what has made America great.
Romney took the bait on “not caring about 47% of Americans.” He should have started with what he said at the end, that he’ll represent 100%…followed by b!tchsl*pping and correcting the interviewer that he was talking about the challenge of getting votes from that 47% of the voting public which receives some form of Government money.
Kennedy brought his own make-up and make-up artist with him when he did his famous debate with Nixon back in the day.
let’s not forget when you view CBS…you “see BS.
Don’t forget to count the “negatives” in general when a Republican is shown on TV versus when a Democrat is shown. Bad lighting, poor angles, negative wording, depressive attitudes, poor demeanor, etc. The MSM does it EVERYDAY. Remember Bachman’s TIME cover. That was just the tip of the iceberg. Everything NBCCBSABCPBSCNNMSNBCTIMENEWSWEEKNPRAPRUETERSWAPONYT does is crap.
I noticed that the Obama interviewer posed the questions as if he was scared to ask unless he qualified his statement by saying “Mitt Romney says”
Concerning camera angles:
I saw the most blatant example of this in the
Clinton/ Dole debates. The way the camera was aimed
during portions of when Dole spoke made it appear that
Clinton’s head was almost resting on Dole’s shoulder.
By having Clinton in the frame it was almost like a
Saturday Night Live sketch with Clinton mocking Dole.
I watched 14 minutes by accident. I thought “Person of Interest” was on. I noticed the manipulation and it made me sick.
I watched a few minutes of a MSM newscast a couple weeks ago during the first 2 days of the ME uprisings, they were talking about O and Romney and I noticed that when they talked about O they had a picture of O behind the reporter’s shoulder of O smiling and looking relaxed, when they talked about Romney they had a picture of him frowning with his mouth forming a weird “O” shape. How stupid do they think we are? Reba’s saying has become my Mantra, and I still want to jump up and down and shoot my TV.
Tamminator,
I went after 60 Minutes for 1/2 a season to see how they err Politically. Any politico could see that 60 Minutes does not “Speak Truth to Power,” during Democratic Administrations.
Here is the series I did:

Thanks to the astute readers of HillBuzz, the truth is out there. Love you guys! You are on top of it, and I am thrilled that you “get it”.
