45?

Posted on January 20, 2009 by HillBuzz // Hillbuzz

Sarah Palin on Glenn Beck’s show yesterday.

We wish she was moving into the Naval Observatory today (and that Todd could be out snowmachining on the lawn as early as tomorrow morning), but sometimes life doesn’t work out for the best (or, as our friend Sebastian puts it, “Sometimes the universe brings you the wrong french toast”).

Who knows, maybe Palin will be living in Washington herself in 4 years.

We. Love. This. Woman.

    Hey-

I’m so glad Sarah is free to speak unedited, right to us. It was good to hear from her. It’s funny, if Sarah is so dumb and uniformed…why is Alaska not asking for a financial bail out? She knows how to run a family, a company, a State, and hopefully our country in 4 years!! Go Sarah!

Every ordinary person can definitely relate to Sarah – not very intelligent, not very articulate, not very well-travelled, but still managed to achieve success through hard work while raising a big family. I think her aspirations are the aspirations of most working female adults. For someone who did not graduate from Ivy-league schools and worked for big firms in big cities, I think she is the perfect underdog.

I know we love her. But don’t be deceived. She has a lot to overcome. She has been vilified, and many people who I think are intelligent have been brainwashed during this election.

All of us need to know our facts about Sarah and aggressively defend her when ANYBODY speaks a disparaging remark. We have 4 years to make our “friends” recognize they misogyny.

I listen to what is said about women and I’m appalled. Substitue “black” for “women” in most commentary and anyone can see how prejudiced their opinions are. But somehow, in today’s society, it’s OK to be prejudiced against wome.

We need to remember, when we put BHO’s resume against Sarah’s, she has him beat by a long shot. However the MSM has done such a hatchet job on her, that it will take ALL of us to change that perception in the next 4 years.

I’m a conservative Republican. I was not for HRC, however I have found kindred spirits among the Hillary supporters. Can we trancend political borders and, together, support qualified (and eligible!) candidate the next time around?

Sarah Palin needs to spend the next 4 years learning everything there is to know. Look how Hillary kicked O’s butt in the debates, and he still got the free ride. After a term as Pres. he’ll have experience to add to his resume this time. If the media still loves him so, than she should not run. I can’t stand the thought of her being sent to slaughter, like Dole, Kerry, Mondale et.al. When an incumbent Pres. is doing well in the polls, the challenger really is just a person given up by the opposing party as a
sacrifice. The “incumbent advantage” is a political reality, and hopefully the republican party will makes her wait. If O is a colossal failure, than she is my #1 pick for sure!

#18. You’re right – that hateful hung in effigy is for sale on E -Bay. Yuck! I filed a complaint.
    1. At the bottom of the page with the listing, click on “Report This Item”.
2.Then on the dropdown menu for Reason for Report, choose Prohibited (banned items)
3.Then on the Additional Information drop down, choose Items that glorify or promote violent crime.
    4. OK, it made me sign in to my EBay account to send the report and offers a chance to type in text.
I wrote: Mannequin was hung in effigy when it was made famous in the news. Not a joke! Hateful to women! (they limit the number of characters.

Let’s all complain so the creep who made the effigy doesn’t profit.

Is there anybody that did not go to Harvard that doesn’t relate to Palin and her family? Well, the DC insiders and the talking heads maybe. I beleive they are really scared of her actually. As more people get to know her, they can’t help but like her. Its the same with the Clintons. They came from Arkansas. They weren’t part of the in-crowd, the pundits hated that they were popular and proceeded to destroy them. They are still working on that. I expect by the end of the next 4 years, the papers and media will be a different animal, practically useless. We’ll take it from there.

I’m just afraid they media will continue to destroy her, and people (like Obama supporters) will buy everything the media says about her.

You don’t have to be ordinary to appreciate the extraordinary. Nor does one need to travel great distances to know that there is no place like home.
To presume that if one chooses to live a simple life that one is simple is simply ignorant. In order for one to live a simple life involves a highly complex level of thinking.

Ah, good to see not everyone is sucking on the bacrack pipe.

Even better to see a clip of what could be a much, much, muuuuuuuuch better president elect.

    somone said:

“Totz. Sign me up for the “SARAH 4 ILLINOIS IN 2012!” campaign. Like, today.”

Me too. Live here in Chicago, so what do we do?

“Call me crazy, but I’d like to see a Clinton/Palin administration in 2012. That’s my dream ticket.”

A few months ago, that statement would have made me kreeezy. Now, can definitely see your point.

“I know we love her. But don’t be deceived. She has a lot to overcome. She has been vilified, and many people who I think are intelligent have been brainwashed during this election.”

Sadly, you’re right. And sadly, like you I have to revise my definition of the phrase “intelligent person” after the election that just happened.

“Instant frontrunner for conservatism in 2012″

I’d say more the instant front runner for sanity in governance.

“Its the same with the Clintons. They came from Arkansas. They weren’t part of the in-crowd, the pundits hated that they were popular and proceeded to destroy them.”

Somewhat agree. Was not a large fan of the Clintons, but they were nobodies from nowhere (okay, Arkansas- but that’s the suburbs of nowhere) that got where they did through sheer force of will and steely determination. Nobody handed them a durned thing, yet they succeeded. That in itself is worth noting and respecting.

Wow, only 1460 days to go- we need to get crackin’ if we want to launch this dolt out of the White House.

After all the derision, vitriol and injusticies thrown at Sarah Palin by the elites and the MSM, and the disrespect and nastiness Hillary has had to in America will be the election of a woman as President of the United States.

I hope that woman will be Sarah Palin. If there is any justice in this world, Sarah and Todd and their children will be the first, and much loved, family – and it will be thanks to people like Hillbuzz!
