Hold Them Accountable: Start Keeping Track of Who Aggressively Pushes Romney For the Nomination And Make Sure They Answer For It November 6th (one way or the other)

Posted at January 31, 2012 by Kevin DuJan // 2012 GOP Candidates, Mittens Romney

Whatever happened to everyone who aggressively pushed John McCain as the “it’s his turn!” nominee back in 2008 — you know, after he lost the presidency to Barack Obama?

Mike Huckabee deliberately stayed in the race as a vote-splitting spoiler to benefit McCain — and he was rewarded with a lucrative TV career.

The fools who ran McCain’s lackluster campaign all still have high-paying jobs amongst the Cocktail Party establishment elite.  Almost all of them tried to deflect attention from their own failings by blaming Governor Sarah Palin for McCain’s loss — when in reality it would have been an absolute blowout loss if not for the energy and adrenaline that Palin brought to the race.  Remember how aggressively the elite, agenda-driven media and The Tolerant Left conspired with the Cocktail Party to malign Governor Palin — while protecting the permanent political class elites that actually fumbled the election — and you’ll see clearly that there’s never any consequence for the men who lose elections for the GOP.  I think a big part of that is because The Tolerant Left wants Republicans to keep losing elections, so the elite media avoids running this habitual losers out of town on rails (as they’d do if they were fumbling Democrat races).

I’d like you to consider doing something novel in conservative politics:  let’s hold everyone who’s pushing Willard Mittens Romneycare toward the Republican nomination responsible for what happens on November 6th, 2012.

I think it’s only fair to count the people who’ve been doing this in the past, and who are currently doing it, up until such time as Romneycare would secure the nomination.  After that (if he’s indeed the nominee), everyone will coalesce behind him and it’s no longer appropriate to target every Republican in the event of Romneycare’s loss — just the ones who were most aggressively in pushing the “inevitable”, “it’s his turn!”, and “he’s so electable!” memes in the primaries.

None of the people doing this should work on political campaigns ever again if, as expected, Romneycare goes on to defeat in November.

If any of these people are elected officials — such as Nikki Haley and Kelly Ayotte — they need to be primaried the next time they are up for election.

The people pushing Romneycare as the “nominee in all but name only” and “the primaries must end with Florida!” talking points who work in TV and print media need to be removed from the air.

Large donors who funded Romneycare’s primarily campaign should feel the wrath of a public disgusted with the GOP running another loser in the fashion of Bob Dole and John McCain in an election year when he was the absolute worst candidate to put up against the manufactured zeitgeist the Democrats had prepped to secure Obama’s re-election.

My thinking is this:  should Romneycare actually win the nomination and the general election, all of the people who’ve pushed for him so aggressively during the primaries will be handsomely rewarded in his theoretical administration. Haley and Ayotte are under the delusion they may even be considered for VP (when Romneycare already signals he wants Pawlenty…or if forced otherwise, will accept Marco Rubio).  Others in the Cocktail Party GOP establishment have bellied up to push for Romneycare in hopes of landing everything from Cabinet slots to ambassadorships.

If these people get to reap the rewards if Romneycare wins…then why they heck aren’t they held accountable when soggy cucumber-and-mayo candidates like Romneycare, McCain, and Dole LOSE?

Conservatives are amnesiacs for the most part.  For a day or two after the election, there’s bitterness at the loss and a great deal of childishness…then there’s a weird period where people seem to look desperately for a scapegoat (to protect their own necks, I bet).

And then…after a few months…it’s like the election never happened.

Everyone who was responsible for the disastrous nomination of John “it’s his turn!” McCain gets to keep running political campaigns and the fools in elected office who came out in force to foist McCain upon voters are all allowed to keep their choice positions of influence in the party.

Let’s start a new tradition this year:  if Romneycare becomes the nominee and then loses to Obama as just about everyone in the Tea Party believes in their heart will happen, then let’s have severe consequences for everyone identifiable by name who was responsible in any way for pushing Romneycare to securing the nomination.

It’s going to take a lot of work to pull this info together and we will receive absolute no help at all from anyone in the elite, agenda-driven media.  It will be yeoman’s work…but once this is compiled I’ll create a page here on HB where I’ll keep this information assembled so that if Romneycare does indeed lose to Obama, on November 7th a political reckoning could come for those who set that loss in motion.

Looking on a much brighter side for the country, if Obama is defeated then this list can happily be used to congratulate all the far-seeing geniuses who helped make that win possible.  I will be so happy that Obama lost his re-election bid that I will gladly admit I was wrong and will be the first to call for medals to be awarded to every Romneycare surrogate and proponent who lobbied for his nomination.

But if I’m right and Romneycare is defeated in the general election by Obama’s 2012 “Occupy & Persecute” strategy (tailor made for Romneycare), then I would like to see mass resignations from the corridors of power from everyone on “The Romney List”.

I’m tired of amnesiac conservatives forever allowing the same losing strategists and bumbling Cocktail Party elites to survive one defeat only to lose another important election a  few years later by doing the same stupid things but expecting different results.

Let’s make 2012 different.

Let’s hold the Cocktail Party establishment accountable by naming names and identifying who in the permanent political class is most responsible for pushing Willard Mittens Romneycare towards nomination under the banner of “he’s most electable!” and “it’s his turn!”.  It may end up being his turn…but if that results in Obama getting another term than everyone who shouting that “electable” garbage needs to be booted from any position of authority in the GOP.

PERMANENTLY.

The Horror of Realizing How Hilariously Funny the Tolerant Left Finds Abortion

Posted at January 31, 2012 by Kevin DuJan // Activism, Boystown

[ Click above to embiggan:  gay members of The Tolerant Left joke often about abortion...which is apparently "hilarious" in Boystown.  LOL! ]

I ran the above screengrab montage from Facebook the other day as part of the ongoing “The Tolerant Left in Action” series I’m doing where I show you just how terrible Tolerant Leftists are when they’re status-updating or pontificating on Facebook.  The embigganable bit above was grabbed from the Facebook profile of one of the most well-built and physically beautiful male strippers here in Boystown…who has a habit of making hideously ugly abortion jokes on Facebook.  The outsides definitely don’t match the insides of this guy (no matter how clearly his jockstraps reveal the carpet does indeed match the drapes).

I’m bringing this up again because over the weekend I had an encounter with a group of Millenial gay guys here in Boystown that made my blood run cold — and it centered on their nonchalant treatment of abortion as nothing more than the butt of their latest pithy joke.  I want you to know just how brainwashed gay voters are to believe that The Tolerant Left’s pro-abortion (and don’t you dare call it pro-choice ever again after reading this) agenda is hilariously funny and perfectly acceptable humor for public consumption.

QUESTION: Can You Explain Why Romney’s Supporters Scream “Don’t Give Democrats Material!” In These Primaries? Y’all Know The Tolerant Left Already Has All of This Material and More Ready To Use in the General Election, Right?

Posted at January 31, 2012 by Kevin DuJan // 2012 GOP Candidates, Featured Content, Mittens Romney, Open Threads

I’d like to make this a sort of open thread because I want your take on what I think is a dangerous and bizarre recent habit of Willard Mittens Romneycare’s supporters during these primaries:  screeching that “You need to shut up and not criticize him because you’re just giving Democrats material!” or “We need to get these primaries over and make Romney the nominee already!”.

First off, sister mister, if you have a problem with the primary contest going through June and the nominee not selected until August then you best take that up with the Cocktail Party GOP establishment that scheduled states to vote from January all through the winter and spring and into summer.  Have you only just realized that the majority of states will not vote until after March?

There’s no “these primaries drag on too long!” allowed when the primaries were scheduled to occur from January through June; it’s not like all of a sudden people decided to go nuts and move these things later in the year, just to screw with you or upset your blood pressure.

Contested primaries with two or more candidates aggressively competing mean people in more states get fired up and become actively involved in the 2012 campaign — instead of tuning everything out because “my vote doesn’t matter” since all but one candidate dropped out of the running before the state a person lives in had the chance to vote.  If you’re someone who’s been parroting the Mittens campaign’s “we need these primaries to be over and Romney coronated today!” meme then you need to think long and hard about the massive infusion of energy the heated Hillary-Obama race gave Democrats in 2008.

Do You Know How to Maintain A Contemporary Log to Document Harassment You’re Receiving?

Posted at January 31, 2012 by Kevin DuJan // Best of Hillbuzz, Featured Content

Last year, I told you about a horrible situation my friend Gabrielle in Boston found herself in, where a family living in her co-op building allowed their teenaged son to terrorize residents with psychotic behavior.  The boy, who I will call “Denny”, manifests all the “tells” that shows like Dexter or Law & Order: SVU use as shortcuts to identify a youth as a future serial killer: harming small animals, playing increasingly more disturbing “pranks” on others, lurking around corners to spy on attractive women, menacing older people, committing ever-more-destructive acts of vandalism, etc.

Gabrielle couldn’t sell her unit in the building (because in this market she’d take too deep of a bath on it), so she ultimately found a young university grad student who rented the place from her while she moved out into a new rental unit of her own — the whole thing ends up costing her $150 extra each month, for the piece of mind of not having to live in her own building anymore and deal with “Denny”.  She couldn’t rent the apartment for a profit, or even find someone willing to take over the place for what she pays in mortgage each month (so she’d break even), but she’s willing to eat this cost until she figures out a more permanent solution (ie, she can sell the apartment and be done with these people).

I was able to catch up with Gabrielle when she was in Chicago over the weekend and have an update on her saga for those who are curious (and many thanks to those who’ve emailed since you first read her story and have asked how she was doing — she appreciated that very much).  I’m also mentioning it because it involves a look at how to keep what’s known as a “contemporary log” that documents harassment a person receives on an ongoing basis.  If you ever encounter a recurring problem with a neighbor or are ever harassed at work, perhaps Gabrielle’s “contemporary log” example may be of some use to you.  I’ve had to keep one of these myself for the last year and a half to document the activities of a cyber stalker I acquired — and in both Gabrielle’s and my cases these “contemporary logs” will be entered into evidence when our respective suits go to trial later this year.

HillBuzz Open Thread: Tuesday January 31st, 2012

Posted at January 31, 2012 by Kevin DuJan // Featured Content, Open Threads

[ Click above to embiggen:  "The Tolerant Left" in action, as displayed on NYC theater actor (and Chicago ex-pat) Bruch Reed's Facebook wall ]

If you happen to know of any “Tolerant Leftists” out there in the Facebook world who post hateful drek like that above, please start screengrabbing it.  I’m building a collection of the common things those on The Tolerant Left say and do in reaction to political news. After monitoring Facebook for the last several months, it’s clear the “journalists” in the elite, agenda-driven media are impacted by things their Facebook friends post on their walls — that, or the “journalists” are of the same mindset as the Facebook posters and this is all a big exercise in group-think.

It’s remarkable how hate-filled The Tolerant Left’s political rants truly are, especially since these people are writing this stuff on Facebook under their own names and not as HappyBird86 or MountainStateMomma or some other Internet alias.

It is my most sincere hope that these violence-threatening, misogyny-laced, expletive-peppered, and irrational screeds one day come back to haunt the Tolerant Leftists screeching them.

Can you identify any recurring themes or distinctive tics endemic to The Tolerant Left that YOU have noticed?

***********************************************

Today’s the Florida GOP primary.  I’ll put up a Results Watch thread a little later in the day, but feel free to start speculating on what you think will happen in the Sunshine State.  It seems the Cocktail Party GOP establishment has maneuvered Rick Santorum to split the “Not-Romney” vote enough for Willard Mittens Romneycare to win the state today…though Newt Gingrich’s share of the vote plus the spoiler fraction going to Santorum will combine for “Not Romney” win.

Santorum’s now playing the role for Mittens that John Edwards played for Barack Obama in his primary race against Hillary Clinton in 2008.  Santorum’s being used by the Cocktail Party establishment, and has probably been promised a job in the theoretical next administration.  Santorum knows he has zero chance of being the nominee (like Edwards in 2008), but he seems determined to stay in the race as long as possible to split the “Not-Romney” vote in the same way that Edwards split the “Not-Obama” vote in 2008.

Mike Huckabee did this to Mittens four years ago, to benefit John McCain, and Huckabee’s prize was a lucrative media deal.  Edwards has been indicted and is currently awaiting trial for misappropriation of campaign funds.  So, it’s a mixed bag in terms of what fate awaits a party’s spoiler in a primary race.

The most interesting question to think about going forward from today — no matter what happens — is whether the Tea Party or the Cocktail Party will win the 2012 nomination race.  If Mittens prevails in the end (and contrary to what the elite, agenda-driven media will crow today) and ends up the nominee in August, then the Cocktail Party wins and the Tea Party loses. If Gingrich upsets the cucumber-and-mayo sterling silver serving cart, then the Cocktail Party as a force to be reckoned with is severely crippled.

One shall stand, and one shall fall.

My heart’s with the Tea Party Americans who have fought so hard since 2009 to obliterate the permanent political class that got this country into such a mess…but I honestly don’t know who will prevail in the months ahead.

What’s your take?

What else is on your mind today?

What are people talking about in your part of the country?

Posted at January 30, 2012 by Esther4HB // Ground Reports, Hillbuzz, Pacific West

It has been said that the army of God moves forward on its knees. Thank you for your continued prayers for those who have requested them. Let’s keep it going!

Answered prayer:

Although it was not on our list, over the weekend many, many people have been praying for Bella Santorum, daughter of Rick and Karen Santorum. She was born with Trisomy 18, a severe genetic disorder, and was admitted to the hospital on Saturday with pneumonia. Thankfully she is out of ICU and continues to make good progress. Please keep Bella and the Santorum family in your thoughts and prayers.

Please pray for:

* Vivian – I would like to pray to Jesus, my Lord and Savior, and thank Him for his sacrifice . I would ask Him to keep a hand on Barack Obama and instill within him wisdom and discernment.

* HopeandChange – Pray for our persecuted Christian brothers and sisters around the world.

* tyyyre – Please pray for my sister J. and husband both very ill, son having mental/drug problems and now in jail. Thank you.

* MathMom – 50 HillBuzz readers decide to give up one $5 choice each month and direct that $5 to HillBuzz through the Subscription link.

* coregis – January 16 I will have to go to jail for DUI; I am grateful that I have never hurt anyone, but I am sick, sad and lonely. I will have to leave my estranged wife and the kids to fend for their own. Please pray for me to give me strength and for my family.

* Sue – My neighbor and good friend, just lost her Dad and Mom is in poor health. Thanks.

* LaBonBon – I would also like to send out continuing prayers for the unemployed (myself included). Especially the older unemployed (myself included) who are at a further disadvantage.

* LaBonBon – My friend Sue F. just had mouth cancer surgery. The doctors removed five teeth and parts of bone. Her mouth is still too sore to talk. She is a wonderful person/friend. Prayers would be much appreciated.

* Baby Astor’s continued progress in growing stronger daily. Darcy’s continued recovery from c-section delivery and an extremely trying month with her daughter’s health concerns.

* That the American people wake up to what is happening in our country. That we as a nation once again embrace the values upon which this nation was founded.

* That the election process identifies a candidate who truly has a servant’s heart and has the good of the American people as his/her priority. That this person leads our countrymen back to our noblest selves so that we can address the needs of the nation and heal.

* Protection for innocents along the U.S./Mexican border who are endangered by the increasing violence there, and is moving further north.

* Protection, continued strength and courage for Kevin, Congressman Allen West, and all other patriots who are tirelessly working for the good of our country.

For those who have requested prayer, please keep us updated on how things are going. We love to hear how God has been answering those prayers.

Have a prayer request? Let us know in the comments section. It would be our honor to pray for you and your loved ones.
