Where does the Left get the idea that Republicans want to “round up gays” and put us in camps?

Posted at October 24, 2011 by Kevin DuJan // Gay Bullying, The Left

Here’s something I’d like to accomplish this week — to research where the lie originates that Republicans want to “round up” gays, lock us in camps, and kill us.

Go ahead and laugh, but I swear I see this lie repeated over and over again in the gay community.  It’s something the Gaystapo goon squad uses to bully gays to never consider voting conservative or for a Republican candidate.

This “Republicans are evil and want to round us up!” trope is rolled out not only in the low-information circles of Facebook, but in many gay publications that claim to be at least somewhat credible.

I’d love to work up a dissection of where this lie comes from, who originates it, and why the Left feels it’s so effective at keeping gay voters on the Democrat reservation (where they blindly vote against their own economic best interests because the DNC keeps telling them that if you are gay you must vote Democrat — since, according to the lie, Republicans are evil and want to murder gays).

The 2012 election is going to be the nastiest and most emotionally-charged in our lifetime.  The Left currently enjoys power like never before, and will not give it up without an epic fight.

I really want to do something to prohibit the Left from using this “Republicans want to round you up and kill you” lie in the gay community in the year ahead…and taking this Alinsky cudgel away from the Left requires a solid look at where this lie comes from, who spreads it, and why the Left needs to rely so heavily on it.

Thoughts?

The attacks on Herman Cain are being deliberately coordinated by the Left using the Gaystapo goon squad

Posted at October 24, 2011 by Kevin DuJan // Hillbuzz

I’ve noticed a sustained and orchestrated attack on Herman Cain developing in all of the gay publications and websites the Left typically uses as a test kitchen for poisonous attacks against conservatives to be rolled out nationwide.

Previously, the Left had percolated these sorts of attacks against Michele Bachmann…but the gay publications — like The Windy City Times and ChicagoPride.com here in Boystown — are now completely ignoring her.  This is a strong indication the Left no longer believes Bachmann poses Obama any sort of threat in the 2012 election.  Either the Gaystapo believes she’s been completely marginalized by the attacks lobbed against her, or her campaign’s imploded to the point where revovery’s deemed impossible.

Either way, the Alinsky Machine is now turned towards Herman Cain.

I’ve been monitoring Facebook all weekend, where I’ve seen attacks on Herman Cain put forth with increasing steam by the “trendsetters” in gay circles.

There’s a reason why you should be interested in and care about this:  it’s because the Left consistently uses the gay publications to rev up attacks and implement the DNC’s strategy against particular conservatives.  If you pay attention to what the gay publications are doing politically, and if you watch how aggressively the attacks are rebroadcast across platforms like Facebook and Twitter, you’ll see the Left’s strategies are almost always telegraphed well in advance.

Republicans have always been so foolish not to pay more attention to this.  The gay publications are almost completely ignored by GOP consultants…probably because so many of them want never to be caught looking at sites with hot guys in speedos plastered all over them.

I freely admit 90% of what’s on a site like ChicagoPride.com is junk (or photographs of various strangers’ barely-concealed junk), but there are valuable insights into the Left’s attack plans obvious in the gay publications’ political pages.

Herman Cain is a very interesting case, in that he was completely absent from the Left’s radar until just a few weeks ago.

That means it’s easy to look back over the last month and chart the attacks rolled out against him, and where they originated.

I believe looking at how the Left gins up hatred against a specific conservative — like Herman Cain — is important because the only way to defeat the Alinsky Machine is to develop a strategic plan to thwart most of these attacks before they are allowed to really take hold.

The Cocktail Party GOP establishment’s myriad consultants have either incompetently or deliberately forever allowed the Left’s Alinsky Methods to work — in election after election.

Haven’t you had enough of seeing this junk repeated unchallenged against every new face who emerges on the conservative scene?

God vs. Allah

Posted at October 24, 2011 by Bridget // Hillbuzz, Resources - Islam, Unveiling Islam

During yesterday’s mass at St. Peter’s in Vatican City, a man climbed out onto the balcony and yelled to the crowd below “Pope, where is Christ?” just before he lit a Bible on fire.  He then threw the burning Bible to the crowd below.  Pope Benedict’s bodyguards were able to talk the man back to safety and the mass went on as scheduled.  The incident took only about 2 minutes and everyone seemed unfazed…including the Pope.  I bet things like this happen all the time at the Vatican.

But…what would have happened if this man had been in Mecca during a Friday prayer and had decided to burn a Quran?  Surely he would not be alive today.  He would either have been beheaded or stoned to death on the spot.

I hate it when people say that Allah and God are the same.  It is true that Muslims believe that their Allah is the same God that is in our Bible but most Christians do not believe that Allah is the same.  Allah and God command very different things….so how could they be the same?  Allah condemns non-believers to Hell while the God of the Bible is loving and forgiving.  A Muslim cleric would have ordered this Bible-burning man to be executed if he had burned a Quran but Pope Benedict did not condemn him at all.  In fact…I bet Pope Benedict prayed for this man.

I am definitely not an expert on religion but it is obvious to me that comparing Allah to God is like comparing apples to oranges.

Allah is non-tolerant and unforgiving….while our God is very tolerant and loving and forgiving.

So I’ll ask again….how could they be the same?

[ Something fun above to start the week...an amazing advance in technology that's captivating Europe in outdoor displays that's sure to be incorporated into advertisements in the US very soon...could be something important we see something of during the 2012 elections]

What’s happening in your world today?

Are your friends and family paying attention to the 2012 election yet?

Do they know about Solyndra? Fast & Furious? Violations of the War Powers Act?

Do they know that the Pee Party is funded by America-hating Marxists, just like our president?

What are people talking about?

Freedom Fighter Lech Walesa: No Solidarity with OWS Commies

Posted at October 23, 2011 by Kathleen Gee // Hillbuzz, Tea Party, The American Reistance
Solidarity co-founder Lech Walesa refuses to meet with #OWS protesters after learning they're funded and organized by communists

Walesa can smell the Pee Party from Warsaw. H/T WeaselZippers

Freedom fighter Lech Walesa co-founded the Solidarity trade-union movement that helped free Poland from communist dictatorship in the 1980s. This fight against tyranny–in an era when people were routinely shot dead while trying to escape from East Germany to freedom in the West–earned Lech Walesa the Nobel Peace Prize in 1984. (Insert your own Obama Peace Prize joke here.)

Associated Press reports that Walesa was planning lend his support to the Pee Party Pro-Tests alarmed Adam Andrzejewski (“an-drew-ski”), who is currently running for the Republican nomination for Governor in Illinois.

Andrzejewski reached out to the Lech Walesa Institute Foundation in Warsaw with details of the puppet masters behind the Pee Party: “anarchists, Code Pink, the American Communist movement, jihadists, anti-Israel, socialist, and anti- free enterprise interests,” informing the anti-communist freedom fighter that “OWS folks are politically to the left of President Barack Obama,” said Andrzejewski on BigGovernment.com.

Walesa has declined to meet with the Soros-funded #OWS Pee Party Pro-Testers after learning that the pro-tests have been bought and paid for by the same brand of Marxists, communists and socialists he risked his life to defeat.

That is a thing of beauty.

In May, when Barack Hussein Obama visited Poland, President Walesa refused to meet with him.

That kind of says it all, doesn’t it?

Ohio Ground Report: New Primary Date & Straw Poll Results

Posted at October 23, 2011 by Kathleen Gee // 2012 Elections, Ground Reports, Hillbuzz, Midwest, Tea Party

Interesting news from my home state Saturday. The Franklin County GOP held its first-ever “Swing State Straw Poll” on Saturday, a day after Ohio governor John Kasich signed a bill moving Ohio’s presidential primary to June from March, because of congressional redistricting that’s mandated to happen next year.

This puts the Ohio presidential balloting behind that of 40 other states.

You can imagine how disappointing this is for us Buckeyes. A lot of us are afraid we’ll have very little impact on the presidential race–for the second presidential vote in a row.

In 2008, Barack Hussein “Not A Muslim” Obama stole the election in Ohio with the support of ACORN and Soros plant SOS Jennifer Brunner. The narcissist-in-chief’s margin of victory was roughly equal to the margin of voter fraud facilitated by Brunner.

So, my vote didn’t count in 2008. I was disenfranchised. And by the time of Ohio’s 2010 primary, the Democrat-controlled media had already shoved John McCain down our throats.

Unfortunately, due to redistricting, Ohio’s presidential primary could now become even more of a moot point–it won’t take place until sometime in June, 2012. We Buckeyes may have very little influence unless voters in New Hampshire, South Carolina, Nevada and Iowa–and 36 other states–stop drinking the Kool-aid catered by the Democrat-Controlled Media.

Ironically, this new primary date was set the day before the inaugural “Swing State Straw Poll,” organized by the Franklin County Republican Party. Franklin County is the home of Columbus, the state capitol, and a big university. (Let’s see how many Buckeyes are in the house…”O – H”…) The Straw Poll attracted Republican activists from throughout the state, each of whom paid $25 to participate. A total of 428 voters took part.

Here are the results:

Ron Paul – 53.50%
Herman Cain – 25.47%
Mitt Romney – 8.88%
Newt Gingrich – 5.37%
Rick Perry – 2.80%
Jon Huntsman – 2.10%
Rick Santorum – 0.93%
Michele Bachmann – 0.47%

So, now that Mittens Romneycare has started to finish a consistent third or worse in straw polls, and Rick “I Heart Illegals” Perry is now getting half as many votes as Newt Gingrich, can we please stop calling Mittens and Perry the “frontrunners?”

I’m not as connected to my former network of Ron Paul 2008 supporters as I once was, so I wasn’t sure if there was much of an organized effort to get out the vote for him. I saw a mention here and there on Facebook and that was about it. With the airwaves kind of quiet in the Ron Paul Ohio blogosphere, I wasn’t expecting much. So even I was shocked to discover that over HALF the voters who took part voted for Ron Paul. And from comments I’m reading online, they were from througout Ohio. And what really surprises me is that I don’t recognize any of them. In 2008, the ranks of Ron Paul supporters were so small that we all kind of knew each other or knew of each other. This time…I recognized one name.

It’s possible that the Cocktail Party GOP is going to have its clock cleaned in June of 2012 if its not careful, in the same way the Democrat party had its clock cleaned in the mid-term elections of 2010. It would appear that the most active of Ohio Republican activists are Ron Paul supporters.

This does not bode well for the likes of RINOs like Mittens Romneycare and Ricardo Perry.

Perhaps Ohio will make a difference after all.

Today in History:

2008 – India launches its first unmanned lunar mission Chandrayaan-1. Meanwhile, in 2011, Barack Obama has essentially dismantled the US space program.  If Obama has his way, they’ll be serving chicken vindaloo on Mars before we see a replacement to the scuttled shuttle program. Hope! Change! Ending American exceptionalsim.

2006 – A Panama Canal expansion proposal is approved by 77.8% of voters in a National referendum held in Panama. Wouldn’t it create a massive amount of jobs and be a worthwhile use of tax dollars to somehow build a canal on American soil so that Panama doesn’t have control over this important trade route any longer?  I know it would be monstrously expensive and complicated, but it’s a project that would last for decades and employ hundreds of thousands of people — if not millions.  It sure would be a better use of tax dollars than the Trillion Dollar Obama Stimulus that went straight to Unions and Democrat cronies.  An added benefit:  the new canal could be used to secure our southern border if it somehow cut through Texas and the other border states…making it impossible for illegal invaders to get across the fortifications, water, and canal obstacle.  It’s an impractical idea, for sure, but I miss the days when nothing in America was considered impossible.

1981 – The United States Federal Labor Relations Authority votes to decertify the Professional Air Traffic Controllers Organization for its strike the previous August. Why can’t we decertify all the Unions?  The Teamsters, Auto Workers, and Teachers’ Unions do as much damage to the country on a daily basis as the Air Traffic Controllers did in the 80s.  Why not decertify them all?

1976 – Red Dye No. 4 is banned by the US Food and Drug Administration after it is discovered that it causes tumors in the bladders of dogs. The dye is still used in Canada. I think this is why I never got to have red M&Ms as a kid. For years, my folks would tell me about these mythical “red M&Ms”.  To this day, when I see them now, I still feel like they’re something from the same alternate universe that has Blueberry Coke and zepellin flight tickets for sale as well.

1966 – The Supremes become the first all-female music group to attain a No. 1 selling album (The Supremes A’ Go-Go). This is totally my invitation to play a little Can’t Hurry Love this fine Saturday morning.

What are people talking about in your part of the country?

What stories do you think will become important in the next week?

Sarah Palin Endorses Ron Paul’s Libya Policy

Posted at October 21, 2011 by Kathleen Gee // 2012 Presidential Campaign, Conservativism, Essays - Conservativism, Lamestream Media, Sarah Palin

It’s getting colder and colder in Hell these days.

Last week, Sean Hannity and Rush Limbaugh endorsed Ron Paul’s plan to slash the federal budget by $1 trillion, eliminate 5 unconstitutional departments, and roll back federal spending to 2006 levels.

This week, GOP Frontrunner Sarah Palin is giving Ron Paul’s non-interventionist foreign policy a thumbs-up.

“You’ve got to give it to Ron Paul. Whether you agree with everything he says or not, at least he is one there in Congress trying to make our President stick to the law and understand that Congress does have a role to play in these foreign policy decisions that are made and Ron Paul, I think hit the nail on the head, when he came out and said Obama had better be careful when he interjects himself and our country in other nations’ business.”  — Sarah Palin

I know there are some of you who won’t read this post on principle, because the name of GOP Frontrunner “Ron Paul” is in the headline.

I’d like to submit to you that unless you’ve made up your mind about GOP Frontrunner Ron Paul after reading about all his positions, and comparing them with the output of the current occupant of the White House, you’re just being manipulated by the Cocktail Party GOP and/or the government-controlled media.

Seriously. If you actually have a visceral emotional reaction to the name Ron Paul, ask yourself where that visceral reaction came from. If you’re afraid, it’s probably thanks to the government-controlled media and public school system, which never taught you critical thinking skills.

If you’re angry, you’re probably wearing a blue blazer and khaki pants, sitting next to your cucumber and mayo sandwich, waiting for that call from the Romney campaign to tell you when the next Cocktail Party is scheduled.

Journalists and editors overwhelmingly vote for Democrats. So, when you listen to “news” stories about GOP Frontrunner Ron Paul (or indeed, any other GOP candidate), it’s as though you’re letting the Democrat National Committee pick your candidate for you.

I can’t emphasize this enough.

When the Mainstream Media Democrat National Committee shoves Mittens Romneycare down my throat, and gives just 2% of its news coverage to GOP Frontrunner Ron Paul, I become even more interested in what Ron Paul has to say.

Especially when, despite the ongoing media blackout, Ron Paul is #3 in fundraising among GOP candidates (just $5 million behind Rick “I Heart Illegals” Perry), and has won or placed second in over a dozen straw polls of active grassroots republican voters, including the Big Three: CPAC, the Iowa Straw Poll, and the Values Voters Straw poll.

  • Finishes 2nd in the New Hampshire Straw Poll
  • Wins the CPAC Straw Poll
  • Wins the Phoenix, Arizona Tea Party Straw Polls
  • Wins the Republican Liberty Caucus of California Presidential Straw Poll
  • Finishes 2nd among currently running candidates in the St. Anselm College Republicans Straw Poll
  • Wins the New Orleans, Louisiana Republican Leadership Conference Straw Poll
  • Wins the Clay County, Iowa Republican Party Straw Poll
  • Finishes 2nd in the Iowa Straw Poll, by less than 1% of the vote
  • Wins the New Hampshire Young Republicans Straw Poll
  • Finishes 3 votes behind winner Herman Cain in the Georgia State GOP Straw Poll
  • Wins the post-debate Cincinnati Tea Party Straw Poll
  • Wins the California GOP Straw Poll
  • Wins the Values Voter Straw Poll
  • Wins the Los Angeles County Straw Poll

Yet the Mainstream Media Democrat National Committee continues to black out this story. Or when they do refer to GOP Frontrunner Ron Paul, they call him “unelectable,” which is an interesting adjective choice for someone who has been elected to his seat in Congress eleven times.

Hmmm. It’s almost as though the Mainstream Media Democrat National Committee doesn’t want people to know about GOP Frontrunner Ron Paul.

Why could that possibly be?

The Pew Research Center's analysis reveals that Ron Paul receives just 2% of all media coverage of GOP candidates.
