The Obama Regime’s scandals seem to multiply as every day goes by.
What’s in the news today? What’s the scuttlebutt? Do we need to start a Frog March Pool? (My money’s on Eric Holder, but it may not happen until after January, 2013.)
So, how low do third- and fourth-place frontrunners Mittens Romneycare and Rick “Tuition” Perry have to drop before they’re not the “frontrunners” anymore? Is it possible to drop out of the race and still be a “frontrunner?” (Again, my money’s on “yes,” because New Jersey governor Chris Christie is still a media-annointed frontrunner, even though he has never been in the race, and says he never will be.)

Fast and Furious: Holder’s house of cards is starting to lean.

Reports are out this afternoon (via Hotair) that the House GOP are calling for a special prosecution to further investigate just how much AG Eric Holder knew about the Fast and Furious operation. House Judiciary Chair Lamar Smith (R-Tx) has sent a letter to Obama (today) asking for a special prosecutor to investigate Holder’s May testimony in front of the Judiciary Committee and whether or not he committed perjury. During his testimony, Holder claimed that he had never heard of Fast and Furious until around April of this year but new evidence has surfaced (in the form of memos… dated July of 2010) that shows that Holder was notified of 1,500 guns that were supplied to Mexican drug cartel members. There is also evidence that Holder was given weekly briefings (for over a year) on the program from the National Drug Intelligence Center.
Oh wow! We’ve been waiting for this.
What will Obama do? Will he grant the request for a special prosecution? This could lead to bigger and badder things for his administration because who knows what kind of other incriminating evidence this special prosecutor will find. Fast and Furious may lead all the way up to the Oval Office.
Can Obama get around this somehow?

Al-Qaeda is angry that Ahmadinejad’s a truther.

There is something really funny about this story. Al-Qaeda is ticked off at Ahmadinejad for fueling the “truther” theory last week in his speech to the UN when he suggested that 9/11 was orchestrated by the US government. Al-Qaeda wants full credit and respect for what happened on 9/11 and no little shorty pip-squeak Iranian leader is going to take that away from them.

“The Iranian government has professed on the tongue of its president Ahmadinejad that it does not believe that al-Qaida was behind 9/11 but rather, the US government,” the article said, according to Iranian media. “So we may ask the question: why would Iran ascribe to such a ridiculous belief that stands in the face of all logic and evidence?”
“For them, al-Qaida was a competitor for the hearts and minds of the disenfranchised Muslims around the world, Al-Qaida … succeeded in what Iran couldn’t. Therefore it was necessary for the Iranians to discredit 9/11 and what better way to do so? Conspiracy theories.”
I wonder how Ahmadinejad will respond to that?

CAIR-NY is having a very important meeting tonight. They are trying to have the NYPD Counter-terrorism unit dismantled because they feel like Muslims are being singled out and spied on based on their culture.

As you should have heard, the Associated Press has recently uncovered a covert and illegal NYPD unit which surveilled and collected intelligence on people and ideologically mapped communities based on their ethnic identity (“Ancestries of Interest”) rather than any suspicion of crime. The program was developed in the months after 9/11/01 with the help of CIA agents and is still in use, raising questions, concerns, and general outrage over the racist and illegal targeting of Muslim communities by the NYPD.
An NYPD Powerpoint presentation (supported by interviews of over 40 NYPD, CIA, and FBI agents by the Associated Press) show that this unit is tasked with investigating communities rather than crimes, mapping American Islam within 100 miles of New York City, spying on Muslims far outside of their jurisdiction, and identifying “ethnic hot-spots” in order to deploy undercover agents to “root out extremism.”
NYPD Commissioner Ray Kelly and Mayor Michael Bloomberg have either been willfully ignorant or criminally evasive about the dangers of the spy program, and will not change anything until they are forced to by a court or government. We MUST educate, mobilize, organize and act to make our government and law enforcement accountable to us.
When our police criminalize our beliefs and our dissent, all Americans must stand up to defend our principles. Join us on Tuesday, October 4, at 7pm, to discuss strategies and projects for successfully dismantling the NYPD-CIA spy program, standing with and supporting affected communities. No surprise here. They love to take advantage of our freedoms to advance their cause and desire to spread Sharia around the globe. I wonder if Bloomberg will cave and do away with the counter-terrorism unit? My guess would be yes.
Perhaps he needs to be reminded as to why there is a need for this unit…
That’s not an Irish-Catholic flying that plane. All of America needs to be always vigilant because radical Islam is happening everywhere. Unfortunately, we live in a world where we have to have counter-terrorism operations.
If any of our readers live in the New York area….we encourage you to go to this meeting. It would be great to get a “ground report” on what is said. I really hope that more people show up to protest CAIR’s efforts than support them. Bloomberg’s all about votes so he needs to know that if he caves into CAIR it could mean political disaster.
It’s his job to keep New York safe.
