Obama loses his rock star status…literally.

I am going to date myself here but I was an 80′s Metalhead. To be more accurate, I was a closet Metalhead (also know as Headbangers). I was the good-girl who never did drugs….I was always the designated driver….I went to church every Sunday but…I LOVED heavy metal ( and still do). One of my all time favorite bands was Kiss. Their costumes were the best (Ace Frehley was my man).

Anyway, I have always had great respect for Kiss’ front-man, Gene Simmons. He was born in Israel to parents who were Nazi concentration camp survivors. He not only has a college degree (in Education) but he’s a very shrewd businessman. He describes himself as a “social liberal” but has voted for conservative candidates in the past. He’s considered to be fairly influential in the Jewish community and is always welcomed with open arms when he returns to Israel for visits.
This is why people were surprised when he tweeted that Rick Perry would be the next President of the United States….
Considering Rick Perry is so socially conservative, you would think that Simmons would support someone like Mitt Romney. In an interview he did on CNN he had this to say about the Obama presidency…
“Two years in public office, never ran his own company, so after the fact, I was questioning the qualification,” said Simmons during an appearance on CNN.
Simmons knocked the health care bill, in addition to “the Chapter 11s and Chapter 7s. You should be able to fail. ”
“I want the government out of my life,” said Simmons.
Amazing that someone famous has some brains, but that’s not the only rational thing he has said. He was a big supporter of Operation Iraqi Freedom and posted this comment on his website…
“The Iraqis are free. I suggest anyone having a problem with this war go talk to the Iraqi’s. Ask them if they prefer freedom (even at the price of, initially having what seems to be chaos), or if they prefer Saddam Hussein come back and reinstates the old ways.
I DARE anyone to say the Iraqi’s were better off before, under Hussein.”
He’s certainly not a Hollywood liberal lemming. Can he persuade the Jewish community to abandon Obama in 2012? Considering how many times Obama has thrown Israel under the bus, it is one of the great mysteries why anyone who is Jewish would vote for him.
Kudos to Gene Simmons for coming to his senses.

There’s a colorful new harbinger for when the Left is so desperate to keep pushing one of its failed economy-killing schemes that it’s almost completely exhausted all passibly legitimate claims: when they start saying “if we don’t do this, space aliens will invade Earth to make us!”.
The Left, by way of the Obama Administration, has done enormous damage to this country with the bizarre changes made at NASA since Obama’s “historic and unprecedented!” inauguration in 2009.

Obama’s Osama bin Laden victory takes a wrong turn.

There is reason to believe that Pakistan allowed China to have a sneak peek at the tail section of the helicopter that crashed during the raid that led to Osama bin Laden’s death. The information was obtained by US intelligence insiders and hasn’t been confirmed yet….or they aren’t telling anyone whether it has been confirmed. After the raid in May, the CIA asked Pakistan to not let anyone have access to the helicopter crash but Pakistan was so infuriated that we were able to find and kill bin Laden that they gave us the middle finger….said “screw you” and let China take a look. China not only was allowed to take pictures of the crash but they also took samples of the outer “skin” of the helicopter (the material that makes it so stealth). In the middle of May, Senator John Kerry swooped in to bring home the remaining pieces of the crash but by then it was too late. Was there a reason that we weren’t able to get the tail piece home sooner? I realize that the situation was pretty volatile but it seems like this was a major breech in security.
Because Pakistan allowed China access to the helicopter, we are withholding some of the billions and billions of aid that we give Pakistan every year. My question is why are we not withholding it all? Pakistan is supposedly one of our allies in the region but I have very serious doubts about that. Pakistan is like the scummy drug addict/dealer who becomes an informant. You can never trust them…they are no friend.
Now Obama has given access to sensitive details about the raid to a major film producer so that a movie can be made about how the “Messiah” orchestrated the killing of public enemy number one. This access is likely to further reveal very vital top-secret information all for the benefit of Obama’s re-election efforts (since the movie is scheduled to be released 1 month before the 2012 elections).
It was great that we got the bad guy but putting our military and our country at risk by revealing top secret military information has really put a black cloud over the entire operation.

Increasingly, people here in Chicago believe Barack Obama will screw over the Democrat Party in the 2012 election and unceremoniously decide he won’t seek re-election if he accepts the fact he will not win the race.
Obama is as vain as a peacock and characteristically disloyal to anyone but himself. Throughout the entirety of his cloaked in secrets life, he has never put the needs of anyone before himself, what he wants, or what could best aggrandize him. He wanted to be president not to serve the country, but to fly around on Air Force One, burn through taxpayer money in extreme luxury, and play as much golf on vacation as possible.

2010 – Operation Iraqi Freedom ends, with the last of the United States brigade combat teams crossing the border to Kuwait. We will not actually be out of Iraq completely for many, many years to come. No matter what lies Obama likes to tell his Lefty base.
2005 – The first-ever joint military exercise between Russia and China, called Peace Mission 2005 begins. Don’t believe the hype. Russia has never been able to get its act together since the collapse of the Soviet Union…and China is a paper tiger that will collapse from within in the next few decades. The Chinese are not going to take over the world, and the Russians missed their chance. Everyone knows it’s the Duchy of Grand Fenwick we have to worry about.
1999 – In Belgrade, tens of thousands of Serbians rally to demand the resignation of Federal Republic of Yugoslavia President Slobodan Milošević. Another example of what ordinary people can accomplish if they stop being afraid of their government and start demanding those in power are held accountable.
1991 – Crown Heights Riot: Black groups target Hasidic Jews on the streets of Crown Heights during 3 days, after 2 black kids were struck by a car driven by a Hasidic man. Why is it always gangs of blacks targeting people for violence because of their race? Why is it never branded hate crimes when it’s black criminals doing the hating?
1991 – dissolution of the Soviet Union, August Coup: Soviet President Mikhail Gorbachev is placed under house arrest while on holiday in the town of Foros, Crimea. I was in grade school when this happened, and remember being terrified of what would come next, since Gorbachev seemed like a good guy (as best as we could hope for in a Soviet), and without him in charge, I was scared the missiles would start flying. Do you remember how scary the August Coup really was?
1934 – The creation of the position Führer is approved by the German electorate with 89.9% of the popular vote. In 2008, in America, the media and Left conspired to creat the position of “The One”, the American pharaoh. Here’s hoping voters eliminate that position in 2012.
HORRIFYING: Cast of Chicago gay talk show caught on tape making fun of Trig Palin during bullying attacks on conservatives and Christians

Note: If you are not familiar with the long history of gay men like those on “Only@Brunch” mocking people with special needs and directing catty cruelty at conservatives and Christians (especially at female Republicans), please read here to get a fuller picture of what’s going on that the media never shows you…and why someone like Jesse Budlong in the clip above is so quick to attack Trig Palin at the 1:37 mark…while his co-hosts neither stop him nor cut tape and choose to try the segment again, but this time without mocking a special needs child. It speaks volumes on the character of all involved in this production that this opening segment was not refilmed minus Budlong’s cruelty directed at a toddler with Down Syndrome. These guys saw nothing wrong with Budlong’s remark, they thought it was funny, and are so used to hearing other gay guys mock people with special needs that they still probably can’t see how evil their behavior really and truly is. These guys are honestly the reason that so many people in the world have negative feelings towards gay people, because they see gays like the “Only@Brunch” bullies and assume everyone who’s gay is like this. I am here to tell you we most certainly are not…and this group has really brought shame to the gay community with this show.
Here in Boystown, the biggest bar on the Halsted nightclub strip is Sidetrack — owned by Chicago Gay & Lesbian Hall of Fame inductees Art Johnston and Jose Pepin “Pepe” Pena, who together fund much of the activities of Equality Illinois (an organization that professes to pursue equal rights for all residents of the state and is supposedly against hatred and discrimination in any form).
One of Sidetrack’s bartenders is Bradley Thomas Balof, seen in the above video (third from the Left, in the blue shirt), who also serves as Sidetrack’s M.C. for special events and business promotions.
Bradley, together with (from Left), Jared Hall, Jesse Budlong, Terrence Chappell, Craig Alexander Rathwell, and Brian Felder premiered their new talk show (clearly modeled on “The View”, but with five shallow gay dudes instead of untrained circus animals) at Sidetrack on Tuesday August 16th, with free mimosas sponsored by Sidetrack owners Johnston and Pena (who have clearly endorsed this project fully, since Sidetrack’s website and Facebook account were used to publicize this “premiere”, with this pilot episode of Only@Brunch shown prominently on Sidetrack’s large video screens).
Your Daily Schadenfreude: Arianna Hufflepuff Edition
Do you remember how much both AOL and The Huffington Post pushed Obama in 2008?
Arianna Hufflepuff, a woman (other than Liza Minelli or Fran Drescher) so frighteningly oblivious she (allegedly) had no idea she was married to a gay man for several years, was one of Obama’s loudest and most shrill cheerleaders in both the Democrat primaries and the general election.
She joined Oprah, the Charybdis of Lake Michigan, in anointing Obama as “The One”, and thus inextricably tied her lot to him.
The Huffington Post, an experimental publication produced largely from the mimeographed droppings of circus animals, has consistently been one of the first online organizations to call anyone disagreeing with Obama a damn, dirty RAAACIST! It is a better coifed, slightly more appealing, version of Soros minions The Daily Kos or Democratic Underground.
AOL decided to join in all this Obama-pushing fun, delusionally believing “The Golden Age of Hope and Change” would last a thousand years, at least, and the Fool-Aid so many drenched themselves in back in 2008 would never, ever expire.
So, AOL bought HuffPo for millions and millions of dollars. That made Arianna very happy, and AOL stockholders mighty sad.
Thanks to the Obamaconomy, the AOL/HuffPo painted chimera is worth approximately enough for two tickets to “Avenue Q”, in the upper balcony, of the Playhouse Square production, in Cleveland. Matinee only, of course.
AOL lost $2 billion in value in just ONE YEAR of Obama’s catastrophic presidency.
Not even Arianna’s erstwhile gay ex-husband wants anything to do with her, HuffPo, or AOL. Everyone involved in this deal is toxic.
It is, of course, not the nicest thing in the world to take great delight in seeing almost everyone who aggressively backed Obama in 2008 get their just desserts in 2011, but like the song above says…there sure is an effective German word for it.

QUESTION: Is the only good thing to come out of Obama’s presidency really just Aretha Franklin’s hat?
As it becomes increasingly more obvious to even the far, far Leftists in the media that Obama is a one-term, failed president, I realize when history’s written on “The Golden Age of Hope and Change” there will indeed be at least one good thing to have emerged as a result of Obama’s inauguration: Aretha Franklin’s hat.
It’s a gorgeous hat.
A surprisingly quite popular hat.
A hat proudly boasting it’s own Facebook page.
You should totally friend it.
Like, right now.
Make your friends jealous.
After Obama’s defeated and we all have free time once again, I think I might channel Meryn Cadell and write a song about Aretha Franklin’s hat, along the lines of “The Sweater”.
I would call that song “Aretha Franklin’s Hat, the Only Good Thing About the Entire Obama Presidency”.
I will have my boyfriend write the music for the song and I’ll probably scrabble together a poorly made YouTube video for it.
I hope the hat likes it.
Aretha Franklin’s hat has, I do believe, eclipsed my longstanding love and admiration for Whitney Houston’s own similar hat — the one she wore in the pre-Bobby Brown, so full of life and talent, “How Will I Know Video”.
I know these hats are magic.
Because I can see them.
But even these magical gray hats could not deliver unto us the hopeychange and unicorns Obama promised.
I don’t know what Obama voters saw in this man.
Of all the people even remotely connected to the Obama Administration, it seems the only one who ever accomplished anything worthwhile was a milliner in Detroit named Mr. Song — Luke Song - the man who made Aretha Franklin’s hat.
The only good thing about the Obama Administration.
And…it’s a hat.

Utah Ground Report: Did hopeychange ever come to the beehive state?
Dear HillBuzz,
Well, this is a Ground Report. And you don’t get much more “On The Ground” than by looking into what’s going on in your own family and your own household. I wanted to give all the HillBuzzers a glimpse into how Obama’s Era of HopeyChangey has affect my family’s life (and I highly doubt that this is limited to my own family) -
My family owns a ranching business here in western Utah and they’ve been self-employed since they were married. Also, my parents had a lot of money tied up in real estate over the past fifteen years and they figured once all their real estate ventures were done, they could put that money away toward retirement. Just as they were about to get out of real estate and sock their money away and enjoy their ranch and their grandchildren, the housing bubble burst and most of the business went down the tubes. We were able to salvage some of it, but it ruined my parents’ credit and our family lost a lot of money.
