BREAKING NEWS: Quadaffi may have been killed in Tripoli
Things are sketchy, but here and there we’re seeing news come in that Quadaffi may have been killed in Tripoli.
As much of a monster as the man was, if true this is a huge complication for matters in the Middle East.
Lybia will now be ruled by an Islamic regime…a little Iran…that will dedicate itself to destroying Israel and pushing for a global caliphate to conquer all before it.
The exact same spirit is at work in Egypt, too.
I’m sure we’ll see Leftists in our media cheering that Quadaffi is dead, without really thinking about what that means for anything long term.
Update this story in the thread below if you are following things. It might take many more hours before the news networks start officially calling Quadaffi dead, but if reports are true that the Islamists have broken through Tripoli’s last defenses, have captured Quadaffi’s sons, and his preatorian guard has abandoned him, then there’s no escape for Quadaffi now (no matter how you want to spell his name).

UPDATE 8/21/11: Jared Hall at Downtown Cupid Productions edited out the horrible attack on Trig on Sunday afternoon 8/21/11 and is now trying to pretend none of this ever happened. Just like the Left to try to flush things down the Memory Hole when they get caught. The new, edited video retains the “Only@Brunch” attacks on Michele Bachmann and Sarah Palin, however. Another thing Jared Hall at Downtown Cupid Productions is doing is trying to curry sympathy by claiming someone called him “Hitler” in comments left on his YouTube site, which is the excuse he gave in the video you’ll find below regarding why he deleted all comments.
Well, Jared, we screengrabbed all the comments left for you on YouTube before you deleted them. There is no reference to Hitler anywhere but your own imagination, sister mister. Read all the comments left for you, and you will see that for yourself. I managed to grab all of them before you deleted them at 2:27pm 8/21/11 when you attempted to erase everything related to Jesse Budlong’s hatefully cruel attack on Trig Palin on your pilot episode of “Only@Brunch”.
How about your next episode focus on Jesse Budlong explaining why he thinks it’s funny to mock people with special needs, and why you as a producer allowed this mocking of a toddler with Down Syndrome to be broadcast in the first place? If there’s time on your show, further explain why you’re now in DELETE, DELETE, DELETE mode — even though everything you and your co-hosts have done is saved on multiple hard drives coast to coast.

Here in Boystown, the gay talk show “Only@Brunch” recently mocked special needs, Down Syndrome toddler Trig Palin in the pilot episode of the latest “Downtown Cupid” production from Jared Hall.
Because of the attention HillBuzz.org shined on this attack on a special needs child by catty gay men, Hall has released a statement agreeing the mocking of Trig Palin on “Only@Brunch” was indeed tasteless and unjustified.
I, however, don’t feel Hall has explained himself well enough, because it remains a mystery why he chose to air this episode with the inclusion of the attack on Trig Palin. When taping anything like the “Only@Brunch” show, there is always the ability to stop, in the middle of the segment, and start again if something as atrocious as the jab at a Down Syndrome toddler happens. This was not a live broadcast, but a production that was filmed, edited, and approved for broadcast by Jared Hall and Downtown Cupid Productions.
At the very least, Hall should have, on camera, scolded co-host Jesse Budlong for mocking Trig Palin.
But, Hall, and fellow cast members Bradley Thomas Balof, Terrence Chappell, Craig Rathwell, and Brian Felder laughed along with Budlong and didn’t seize the opportunity to tell him that his comment was inappropriate and had really crossed a line.
What’s caught on tape in this “Only@Brunch” clip is something the media never shows you, but something that’s very real and present every day here in Boystown: the ease in which urban, gay men conjure true evil and aim it at conservatives and Christians (and their special needs children).
Budlong was so quick to take a hit at little Trig because he and his friends most likely do this sort of thing all the time. It comes so naturally for these guys to be this cruel, because cruelty towards others is a part of their daily lives. There is a whole generation of gay men typified by the “Only@Brunch” bullies who came of age taking their cues from Keith Olbermann, Rachel Maddow, Anderson Cooper, Chris Matthews, Tim Russert, and the monsters who write on The Daily Kos and Democratic Underground.”Comedians” like Kathy Griffin, Sandra Bernhardt, Margaret Cho, Bill Maher, and others further stoke this hate and encourage gay people to viciously attack conservatives and Christians whenever possible.
Here’s something you can do today to help put an end to this behavior.
Please click here and go to the “Only@Brunch” YouTube page and leave a comment on the video mocking Trig Palin.
Please ask your friends, especially those with special needs people in their lives, to do the same.
Be professional and mature in your remarks, but please let Jared Hall, Jesse Budlong, Bradley Thomas Balof, Terrence Chappell, Craig Rathwell, and Brian Felder know their behavior is unacceptable and their decision to go ahead and air a pilot containing the mocking of Trig Palin was reprehensible.
Not only did none of these people stop Budlong’s remark while cameras were rolling, but none of them called for a reshooting of that segment minus the hatred directed at a toddler.
As a gay man living here in Boystown, I demand better of this from the gay community.
And I ask your help in getting this message across to the “Only@Brunch” bullies.
Please voice your comment here, and post on this thread what you said when you’ve done it.

1991 – Coup attempt against Mikhail Gorbachev collapses. I wonder how the history of the last twenty years would have been different if the coup succeeded and the Soviet Union existed still, in some form. Would Islamists have been able to have as much influence in the world if it was still a US vs. USSR dynamic?
1986 – Carbon dioxide gas erupts from volcanic Lake Nyos in Cameroon, killing up to 1,800 people within a 20-kilometer range. Mercifully, now that Oprah’s left Chicago, we no longer have to worry about something like this happening on chili day at Harpo Studios.
1968 – James Anderson, Jr. posthumously receives the first Medal of Honor to be awarded to an African American U.S. Marine. Hoo-rah!

A big day for conspiracy buffs, because there are still people who believe the Mona Lisa on display currently isn’t real, and that the painting was destroyed in this theft, with a replacement put up so the Louvre wouldn’t have to admit it was gone.
Obama got mostly Ds and Fs all through college and law school
Last night, I guested on The Andrea Shea King Radio Show and during our conversation we started talking about the fact that Barack Obama got mostly Ds and Fs (with maybe one or two Cs, and, of course, the A in Islamic Studies) all through college and law school.
Additionally, Harvard put great pressure on its Law Review to waive the academic excellence requirement previously maintained for selection of its Editor (which had always gone to the person with the highest grades), since Obama would not have qualified for the position otherwise (part of a glaring trend in his life where he’s pushed for positions he’s clealry unqualified and ill-prepared for).
Occidental College in California, Columbia University in New York, and then Harvard itself all lowered their academic admissions standards to approve Obama’s applications, for whatever reason, wishing to “diversify” their campuses with an exotic mixed-race face from Hawaii, by way of Indonesia, whose unusal name was fun to say for the Leftists in charge of these halls of academia.

Adam Baldwin has a great essay up at Big Hollywood today, where he raises a call to keep pushing back against the race-hustlers and the Left’s other identity-based bully goon squads.
For several decades, the Left has employed a handful of different, pejorative spewing, “untouchable” attack teams to slander and stymie Republicans…knowing the Cocktail Party GOP establishment was too terrified of bad press to ever stand up to any of these goons.
The Left uses blacks to attack Republicans, where the weapon of choice is screaming RAAACIST! at the GOP. In particular, by marginalizing a few selected individual targets that the Left can polarize and ostracize on a personal level, Democrats can ruin their lives and reputation permanently (since in the age of Google, once labeled a racist by the Left, that brand will never go away). No racism actually exists in these situations, but that doesn’t matter to the Left. Just getting a group of black people together to scream loudly that someone is a racist is enough to get Democrats whatever they want in most cases. Since the Cocktail Party GOP establishment is terrified of name-calling and bad media cycles, Republicans have almost always caved into whatever the Left demands when the Race Industry (as led by the Justice Brothers of Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton, with special guest appearances by Justice Cousin Henry Gates) is dispatched to attack conservatives. Think for yourself how often you have seen this happen in just the last four years alone, since the Left began working overtime to push Obama’s Leftist agenda on Americans.
The next best weapon of choice the Left consistently employs is, as I’ve repeatedly noted, the gay community, which is primarily aimed at conservatives who are strongly Christian identified, with female Republicans particularly targeted. The Left typically uses blacks to attack Republican men, but dispatches gays to harp and claw at Republican women. The goal is to portray these women as Cruela de Vil/Anita Bryant type conservative villains — boogeywomen who supposedly are “out to get gays”. Get them what, how, or why is never explained, which is classic Leftist tactic. Since the Left is fueled only by emotion, with little reason or logic ever trickling down to the devotees on the ground, it’s enough for gay magazines and newspapers to declare a conservative and Christian woman to be evil incarnate, and the unthinking gay community will get to work aggressively trashing her in the most cruel and misogynist ways possible. Any Republican who’d try to defend these women would be, of course, branded “homophobic” in the media for standing up to the gay community…much like anyone ever telling the Justice Brothers to deservedly shut-up is called a racist.
The more you study the Left’s tactics, the more clearly you will see the Left uses these different identity-voting blocs as weapons in the Alinsky tool belt. Different groups work in different situations, on different kinds of Republicans, so the Left always has a corresponding “oppressed minority” to wail false outrage and hurl manufactured epithets at conservatives…to the great delight of the media, since all of this typically makes riveting television.
Ever seen the Justice Brothers revving blacks up to falsely call Republicans racist on television, with all the protest signs and coreographed picketing that somehow always miraculously appears out of thin air when needed (almost as if all this stuff sits in a cave under Jesse Jackson’s house, ready for the Race Industry’s signal to get it onto the streets)?
Ever watch gay men savagely attack Congresswoman Michele Bachmann, Governor Sarah Palin, Governor Jan Brewer, columnist Ann Coulter, writer Michelle Malkin, and other prominent conservative women?
What other identity-bloc groups do YOU see actively working as goons squads, weaponized by the Left to attack conservatives whenever Democrats know they can’t win an argument using logic and reason, and so they open up the Alinsky recipe book and decide which high profile minority is best suited to malign Republicans that day?
The Cocktail Party GOP establishment has forever been too terrified to address any of this.
So, why don’t we do it for them?

Has anyone ever thought about making terrible parts of the United States go it alone and become independent whether they wanted to or not? Like Detroit? Singapore was actually booted from Malaysia (which I learned from doing a previous Today in History thread). When someplace gets so Thunderdome it’s impossible to deal with, why can’t we just expel it, wall it off, and never think of it again?
1991 – dissolution of the Soviet Union, August Coup: more than 100,000 people rally outside the Soviet Union‘s parliament building protesting the coup aiming to depose President Mikhail Gorbachev. Do you remember when this happened? I was still in grade school and thought the whole world was ending, people were so rattled.
1988 – Iran–Iraq War: a cease-fire is agreed after almost eight years of war. It’s interesting to continually note that when Muslims are finished killing all of us non-Muslims, in the end they will turn on themselves until there’s only one person left standing. Islam is not a religion, but an apocalyptic death cult.
1960 – Senegal breaks from the Mali federation, declaring its independence. Once again, why can’t this be Detroit? The Most Terrible Place on Earth.

Why it’s important to call out bullies who attack those with special needs – and why it’s especially important to defend Trig Palin from any and all attackers
Yesterday, I wrote an expose on the Chicago gay talk show “Only@Brunch”, hosted by Jared Hall with co-hosts Bradley Thomas Balof, Jesse Budlong, Terrence Chappell, Craig Alexander Rathwell, and Brian Felder because their broadcast not only included the stereotypically catty and low-information attacks on conservative and Christian women (like Congresswoman Michele Bachmann and Governor Sarah Palin) that much of America expects from the gay community (as shameful as this reality may be), but really crossed a line of poor taste by mocking Trig Palin, a special needs toddler (pictured above), who is happily living his life and bringing great joy to all around him (mercifully oblivious to the childish hatred aimed at him by some vocal members of Chicago’s Boystown gay community).
The expose dealt with how shamefully the “Only@Brunch” boys behaved, and how terrible and ugly the gay community is for mocking someone with special needs.
Today, however, I want to focus on Trig and the millions of people in the world like him and just how wonderful and beautiful they really are.

Blacks are used to falsely brand Republicans as racists.
Gays hurl accusations of homophobia whenever the Left commands.
This has been going on for decades, but the Cocktail Party GOP establishment is too terrified of the media to talk about it.

We also discussed lessons learned from the Hillary Clinton 2008 presidential campaign and what bearing they have on Governor Sarah Palin’s 2012 run for the White House.

Is this the first campaign commercial for Sarah Palin’s 2012 presidential campaign?
Sure looks like a campaign commercial to me.
Also…pay attention at the very end…right after that Mamma Grizzly bear roars…the “See you September 3rd, Iowa” bit.
A crowd so large is expected to hear Governor Palin speak that day, that they actually had to change venues and move from Waukee to Indianola, Iowa to accommodate the huge “Sarah Taking Stock” festival that’s organically grown around this speech at the Tea Party’s “Restoring America” event.
If she wasn’t running for president, there would be no reason to make the video above.
I always thought she’d use a moose as her campaign emblem, but it really looks like the branding’s going to be a fierce Alaskan Mamma Grizzly.
It’s exciting to see this commercial, and to think of all the possibilities for a very exciting campaign ahead of us.
