HillBuzz Overnight Open Thread: August 24th, 2011

Posted at August 24, 2011 by Kevin DuJan // Featured Content, Hillbuzz, Open Threads

What’s the most interesting thing you saw or learned today?

What’s the most important thing that happened today?

What are you looking forward to for tomorrow?

* I put the Lady Gaga video “Born this Way Up” up there even though I’m not a big fan of it (too gruesome for me), but because here in Boystown the song’s played a great deal, especially by gays who claim the Right needs to be more tolerant and accepting of gay people.

However, as we’ve seen this past week in the stories about the “Only@Brunch” and Sidetrack bullies, it’s often gay people who need to learn to accept people for how they were born and to not encourage hatred towards others because of their gender, their religion, or their political beliefs.

“The Tolerant Left” uses gay people as goon enforcers to attack conservatives and Christians all the time, with performers like Lady Gaga providing the theme song.

What are some ways you could, in your own life, start drawing attention to the hypocrisy of this?

Every instance of calling hypocrites in the gay community out makes it just that much harder for the Left to use gays as a weapon come election time.

Musings of a conservative mom of a gay conservative

Posted at August 24, 2011 by Penny4HB // Ground Reports, Hillbuzz, Pacific West

Let’s be honest, no matter how open minded and accepting one is – finding out that my son is gay was not welcome news. My oldest son had just gotten married, we took a ‘honeymoon’ with the two other boys and towards the end, my youngest son, 16 at the time came out to us as gay.

First reaction was shock, disbelief and of course denial. Of course first thing we did was give him a big hug and tell him we love him. Then began the long road to adjustment, an immediate question was – what about your strong Jewish and conservative beliefs? They won’t change he said.

Thankfully this was his senior year of high school, he was home, we could adapt together. He had already come to grips with his sexuality – but no matter how much I love my child – that is a seismic shift is my desires and expectations for his future.

What do the letters “MSDNC” mean to you?

Posted at August 24, 2011 by Kevin DuJan // Action Items, Gold Team - Creativity, Lamestream Media

Someone in comments today referred to MSNBC as “MSDNC” , and I just loved that.

The DNC at the end is because the Left clearly controls MSNBC as a perpetual mouthpiece of the DNC, the Democrat National Committee.

What are some good words to go with the “M” and the “S”?

I’d love to find a clear, cogent, lyrical descriptor for MSNBC (“MSDNC”) that really drives home this clever acronym.

What do you think the following letters should stand for?

M =

S =

D =

N =

C =

This way, it can not only have the “DNC” in there pointing back to the DNC itself, but could also get double duty out of those letters by having them mean something biting as well.

What think you?

HISTORY MADE: Rick Perry officially declared the GOP frontrunner

Posted at August 24, 2011 by Kevin DuJan // Cocktail Party GOP, Hillbuzz, The Soggy Sandwich Society

It’s going to be interesting to see the media work overtime to tear Rick Perry down now that he has officially been labeled the frontrunner for the GOP nomination.

Three things to remember, always:

(1) Reporters are lazy.

(2) There are actual binders saved chronicling coverage from the last election. Reporters today want to get ahead, and to do so they think they need to carbon-copy narratives that worked the last time around.

(3) Since “tearing down the frontrunner” worked so well in 2008 when the media took aim at Hillary Clinton, the media will now enjoy tearing down “frontrunner” Rick Perry so the DNC and Cocktail Party Gop’s favored candidate, Mittens “Mood Ring” Romney can be the ultimate Republican nominee.

(4) Reporters want to help Obama win a second term, doing anything that can to advance his cause. Though they aren’t all working together and coordinating this, as individuals they are all doing their best to work overtime to make Mittens “Mood Ring” Romney the Republican nominee.

Pay close attention to the Republican nominating contest now that Perry has been declared frontrunner.  The pushing for Mittens will be more aggressive than ever.

Utah Ground Report: Orrin Hatch and Jon Huntsman Edition

Posted at August 24, 2011 by Kevin DuJan // Ground Reports, Mountain West

Dear HillBuzz,

The big news this week in Utah is that Jason Chaffetz – powerhouse conservative rockstar from Utah’s 3rd Congressional district – will not seek to dethrone Orrin Hatch, Utah’s current crusty dinosaur senior senator.  Chaffetz, for his part, believes that he could do more good by staying in the House of Representatives rather than run for Hatch’s senate seat.  Chaffetz had been the favorite to knock Hatch off for a while now, so the Utah Cocktail Party is now beside itself with glee that Chaffetz announced he’s not going to take on Hatch.

(Article from the Deseret News here: http://www.deseretnews.com/article/705389545/Rep-Jason-Chaffetz-running-again-but-not-against-Sen-Orrin-Hatch.html?pg=1 )

I’ve mentioned Hatch in my Ground Reports before – how he’s been in office since time immemorial and he seriously needs to be primaried.  I’m certain that the Tea Party folks in Utah are still going to primary him and he’ll get to retire to Cedar City where he will continue to pen lovely tribute poems for his late BFF Ted Kennedy.

Clearly, S.E. Cupp needs a primer on how the Race Industry works in America, because there’s no way Hillary Clinton could challenge Obama for the 2012 election

Posted at August 24, 2011 by Kevin DuJan // Hillary Clinton, Hillary Derangement Syndrome, Hillbuzz

Here’s a column by S.E. Cupp that makes me wonder if she pays any attention at all to the Race Industry in America.  Cupp is usually so smart about most things, so I also wonder if this is part of some strategy on the right to try to encourage more dissatisfaction with Obama by pushing the pipedream that Hillary Clinton could really challenge him for the 2012 presidential nomination.

To put it simply, Clinton can’t challenge Obama because he is a sitting black president, and Clinton challenging a sitting black president would make her public enemy number one in the black community.

Obama and his surrogates, like Jesse Jackson, Al Sharpton, Henry Gates, and most especially his own wife Michelle, would 24/7 brand Hillary the most racist of all racists for daring to — and quote me, because this is the exact verbiage these surrogates would use — “take this away from the black man”.

Perhaps Cupp’s real intent is to try to goad Hillary into committing political suicide, because blacks would never forgive any Democrat who challenged Obama for the 2012 nomination.  Just think about the scenarios that flow naturally out of this:

(1) Obama remains the Democrats’ nominee, but goes on to lose the general election. Blacks would say that Obama lost because Hillary weakened and distracted him — so it’s all her fault the presidency was “taken away from the black man”.

(2) Obama loses the Democrats’ nomination to Hillary, and Hillary then loses the presidency.  Blacks will raise Hades for the next four years demanding Obama for the 2016 nominee, since “Hillary stole it from him in 2012″ and then lost. Not only would Hillary be blamed for losing the presidency, but she’d have to watch the DNC remain in Obama’s hands another four years, with him trying to be a second Grover Cleveland.

(3) Hillary takes the nomination from Obama and then somehow manages to win the general election, with the black voters Democrats depend on openly hating her and refusing to vote on election day.  Folks, there is just no way for Hillary Clinton to become president if blacks are not supporting her, and they won’t support her if they believe (or are encouraged to think by Obama surrogates) that Hillary “stole” anything from Obama.

Even if Obama pulls an LBJ and decides not to run in 2012 (an increasingly likely scenario), blacks will be so upset Obama’s not on the ticket that they’ll likely sit 2012 out, to punish the party for Obama’s absence.  Even if he tells blacks directly that he decided not to run for another term, the Race Industry will whisper it’s all a conspiracy to take the presidency away from Obama.

The Race Industry always needs a new conspiracy to run on, so Jesse Jackson, Al Sharpton, Henry Gates, and the rest have something to do with their lives.  When the Obamas are out of the White House, they too will actively participate in these race-baiting shenanigans so they never have to surrender the life of luxury they’ve become so accustomed to.

S.E. Cupp is a terrific writer and right more often then she’s wrong, but clearly she has no idea how the Race Industry operates if she honestly believes in any of this “Hillary 2012″ wishcasting.

Unless, of course, this is just a strategy in conservative circles to further encourage the ongoing Democrat Civil War and make more Democrats feel very “We should have picked Hillary!” as the 2012 election revs up.

Are conservatives really this blind to how the Race Industry actually works and how much Democrats are held hostage by these goon squads?

Al Sharpton selected to fill the Tim Russert role in the 2012 election: shouting racism and attacking the female candidate for the presidency

Posted at August 24, 2011 by Kevin DuJan // Hillbuzz, The Left, The Race Industry

Tim Russert was, hands-down, the most shameful misogynist and sexist in the 2008 media pool, berating Hillary Clinton every day to get out of the race because she was “standing in the way of Obama”.  Russert, Chris Matthews, and Keith Olbermann were MSNBC’s vile trinity of Obama propagandists all through the Democrat primaries.  Russert suffered a fatal heartattack in the studio after spending all day villanizing Hillary Clinton, alleging she was a racist for competing with Obama for the nomination, and gleefully taking shots at her in the most misogynist terms imaginable.

The world is a better place with Russert no longer on the air. Or above ground breathing any of it.

With Olbermann fired from MSNBC for being, essentially, an uncontrollable crazy person, only Chris Matthews has remained on the network. Gearing up for 2012, it looks like MSNBC has tipped its hand in terms of its strategy to help Obama be re-elected (remember: it was Matthews in 2008 who allowed that he considered it his job to make sure Obama succeeded, which is a sentiment shared by everyone at the network it seems).

Al Sharpton is the new face of MSNBC.

This means two things.

Primarily, it’s our clue the Left is going to employ the Race Card early and often in both the primaries and general election. This spells doom for Obama’s campaign, since the Left might be the last to realize that the Race Card in fact expired on January 20th, 2009 at twelve noon (the moment Obama became the “historic and unprecedented first black president”, a feat impossible if the nation was as fundamentally racist as the Race Industry led by Sharpton, Jesse Jackson, and Henry Gates have claimed). If the best weapon Obama has in his re-election arsenal is MSNBC screaming RAAACISM! at people, then he should seriously consider pulling an LBJ and announcing he can’t run for another term because of his Parkinson’s or some other medical reason.

The other area of importance in Sharpton’s hiring is the fact it indicates MSNBC is preparing for Governor Palin’s entry into the presidential race, since the Left often uses blacks to shout RAAACIST! as an attack when they’re afraid to have males seen on camera attacking females. The Left typically uses gays to attack conservative women, but when no high profile gay person is available for the task, the Left defaults to blacks for their hired goons.

Sharpton will, of course, be told to brand Governor Palin a racist over and over and over again on MSNBC. The plan being for this caterwauling to saturate the public and be absorbed through osmosis into the subconscious.  People will know on a rational level it’s not true, but they’ll also be afraid of being called racists themselves for standing up for the Governor (and whomever else Sharpton aims the Race Industry’s attack ray at).

Classic tactics straight out of the Alinsky Play Book, which we saw deployed against Hillary Clinton in the 2008 primaries, and then later against John McCain in the general election.

If you become a student of the Left’s strategies, and understand its goals, you can honestly start scrying what they’re really up to months ahead of time, just by watching hiring decisions like this one for Sharpton.
