The “religion of peace” now peacefully threatens to murder David Letterman

Posted at August 17, 2011 by Kevin DuJan // Best of Hillbuzz, Featured Content, Hillbuzz, No Pattern Here, Unveiling Islam

When I was a kid, there was a bar on one corner of the street that everyone respectable in the neighborhood hated. It attracted all sorts of degenerates, and was the kind of place where people who couldn’t afford to buy milk for their kids would lose their whole paycheck every Friday. The owners let their trash pile up, blared their music on school nights, and when they closed up shop disgorged all manner of stumbling, troublesome weirdos out onto what was otherwise a quiet, perfectly nice street in Cleveland.

One summer, some sort of electrical fire burned the place to the ground. I swear, when the fire department got there, after they made sure everyone got out okay, they very leisurely put the fire out and the place was never able to open again. This was the first time in my life I’d ever seen good people I knew happy on any level that something bad had happened, but no one who lived on the street was sorry that bar burned down.

This is how I feel about David Letterman and his television show, in general.

I will be happy when it’s off the air, and I’m delighted when anything bad happens to the man, like when he was exposed as a total and complete pig in that extortion plot last year involving the sexual harassment he’d heaped on many of his female employees.  For the amount of vile things Letterman has done to good people I care a lot about, seeing him get nastiness returned to him exponentially was to some degree satisfying.

Letterman is one of the Left’s main mouthpieces in the media. Under the guise of “comedy”, he launches salvos at conservatives that even the likes of Chris Matthews and Rachel Maddow can’t get away with. He says he’s only “joking” when he talks about Governor Palin’s teenage daughter being raped by New York Yankees players, or when he’s hurling abject misogyny at the Governor herself, because he hates her for being a conservative woman. The Left loves Letterman for this, and celebrates him the most when he’s aggressively brutalizing a mother of five late at night on his little TV show.

Since the Left also loves Islam so much, and insists on spreading Islam as deep into public schools as possible, it’s amusing to see Islam target the Left’s most vicious (and gap-toothed) mouthpiece for making “jokes” about Al Queda.

Like that bar full of degenerates back in Cleveland burning to the ground, it’s horrifying to think anyone could really be hurt because of the “the religion of peace’s” latest death threats — but hearing that Islam, beloved by the Left, is lashing out with all its “peacefullness” at Letterman, the darling of the Left, is satisfying in a disquieting way. These two caustic presences in Leftist orbit have now clashed, because Letterman’s jokes offended the delicate sensibilities of a medievalist death cult that doesn’t understand the concepts of free speech and humor.

Remember what the Left always insists whenever Letterman “jokes” about teenaged girls being raped:

“It’s funny!”

“He’s kidding!”

“Lighten up!”

Remember what the Left always insists whenever Muslims are offended by anything and target politicians, cartoonists, or writers for death because of perceived affronts to “the religion of peace”:

“You should respect Islam!”

“Muslims aren’t violent!”

“Islam is the light!”

In addition to hoping every Muslim making these threats on Letterman is caught and put somewhere they can never harm anyone, ever, for the rest of their lives, I hope many heads on the Left are spinning tonight desperately trying to decide whom to support in this.

Islam, which the Left believes is always right, and apparently the ultimate ruler of the world.

Or Letterman, whom the Left adores, and has used so effectively as its mouthpiece.

I imagine many Leftists have no idea what to do with this, their worlds turned so upside down.

It’s like watching those obnoxious bar owners the day after that fire, staring at the rubble, knowing it was too far gone to rebuild, not having a clue how to move forward.

It couldn’t happen to anyone more deserving of this particular dilemma.

How did this get so out of control?

Who is tough enough to stop it?

RESEARCH NEEDED: Where in Alaskan law does it preclude a governor from seeking another elected office for 25 months after leaving office?

Posted at August 17, 2011 by Kevin DuJan // 2012 Presidential Campaign, Action Items, Blue Team - Research, Sarah Palin

Here’s something I’d love to clear up today.

Repeatedly, in various conversations about Governor Palin and her future, I keep hearing people say there is something in Alaskan law that prohibited her from participating in a political campaign for 25 months after leaving the governor’s office.

That 25-month time-out would conclude at the end of this month, incidentally.

Here’s the Alaskan state constitution.

I can’t find anything about a 25-month hold on future plans in there.

I also don’t know how a “25-month” time-out would have affected Governor Palin should John McCain have won the presidency, with her becoming Vice President of the United States in 2008.

Clearly, she ran for another political office while the sitting Governor of Alaska.

So I just don’t understand this “25-month” hold business.

I do believe there is something to do with her tenure as Governor that has factored into her decision to postpone her presidential announcement until September (or, the last few days of August, at the earliest)…but I think it might have to do with either her legal bills or the various dismissed ethics complaints that were filed by Democrats to harass and malign her in the last months of her administration.

Can anyone track down a definitive answer as to what this “time-out” is supposed to have been about?

ACTION ITEM: How many violent remarks have Obama, Biden, and other Democrats made?

Posted at August 17, 2011 by Kevin DuJan // Action Items, Alinsky Methods, Blue Team - Research, The Left

Do you have some time today to help push back against the media’s latest attack on Republicans…namely, the Left’s insistence that Texas Governor Rick Perry is a terrible, unelectable, “unpresidential” man because he said the Federal Reserve and its chairman should receive some much deserved comeuppance.

Here’s a hatchet piece on Bloomberg, going after Perry, using a Lefty law professor to call Perry “unelectable and unpresidential” because of his verbiage:

“You just can’t run around shooting your mouth off and talking about the Federal Reserve and talking about treason and getting ugly,” said Cornelius Hurley, a law professor at Boston University and a former assistant general counsel to the Fed’s Board of Governors. “That’s just not appropriate.”

Hurley, a self-described “disenchanted” supporter of President Barack Obama, says tension long has existed between politicians and the Fed, yet Perry took it to new heights.

“I have never heard the rhetoric ramped up the way Governor Perry did,” he said. “That’s a very troubling development. We expect more of our president and should expect more of our presidential candidates.”

Now, just off the top of my head, I can recall Joe Biden calling members of the Tea Party terrorists…and that happened last week.  It was very un-vice-presidential of Biden, but Bloomberg didn’t mention this.

I can also remember Obama telling Democrat voters before the 2010 elections that conservatives are their enemies. Previously, Obama also told his followers that they needed to get into the faces of people who opposed him.  He also waxed on about how he brings guns to knife fights.  Proudly so.

There is a real and present need to compile quotes like this from Democrats — sourced, with references intact — and have them ready as a resource whenever Leftist hacks in the media claim conservatives are “unelectable and unpresidential” because of verbiage they’ve used.

Every time the Left does this, they need to be reminded of things both Obama and Biden say when this dynamic duo run their mouths.

The Left counts on no one putting the sweat equity in doing this research and preparing lists like this.

It’s hard work.  It’s thankless and often boring.

But, man alive, will it ever pay dividends in 2012 if we can can get ahead of the game and do all this prep work using Obama and Biden themselves to refudiate any and all attacks on conservatives.

Chime in below with your thoughts on how best to make this happen.

********************

UPDATE: 8/17/11 Here’s a great story from Politico about Biden’s “the Tea Partiers are terrorists!” remarks.

In it, Politico notes the Left keeps trying to deny Biden said this, but the Vice President’s office hasn’t refuted the story and Politico stands behind it.  It’s a big enough deal that if Politico was wrong, they’d have to recant it.  So Biden indeed did say this.

Here are a few things I find useful to remember on a daily basis when faced with the recurring horror shows of life:

1. Vampires wither in sunlight

2. Werewolves are stopped cold by silver.

3. Mummies are scared of fire.

4. The Left will be taken down, every time, by its own hypocrisy.

Just keep calling the Leftist media out on these double standards, because these people aren’t smart enough to think of new things to do to try to make conservatives look bad.

5 Lessons Governor Sarah Palin learned from Hillary Clinton’s failed 2008 presidential campaign

Posted at August 17, 2011 by Kevin DuJan // 2012 Presidential Campaign, Best of Hillbuzz, Featured Content, Hillbuzz, Sarah Palin

In case you haven’t noticed, Governor Sarah Palin is running for president in 2012 — though she has not officially announced it yet.

The reason she’s engaged in a stealth campaign for the Republican nomination is because she clearly learned from the mistakes of Hillary Clinton’s failed 2008 presidential bid.

Here are the top 5 lessons Governor Palin pulled from Hillary’s defeat and how she will prevent the media, the Left, and the Cocktail Party GOP establishment from doing to her what they did to Clinton three years ago.

Question: How do you get people to understand the Fast & Furious Scandal and Black Flash Mob Attacks?

Posted at August 17, 2011 by Kevin DuJan // Action Items, Blue Team - Research

Dear HillBuzz,

I have a news tip. I saw on the Fox News Ticker that a certain Rep. Senator or Congressman is making noise about Eric Holders decision to give promotions to the three ATF agents who allowed the many assault rifles to “walk” over the boarder to Mexico.  This is outragious and I have already made calls to my Senator Pat Toomey to demand investigation into the original scandal. Now it is just getting worse.

Plus the Bottom Up Top Down Strategy is beginning here in Philadelphia with Face Book Organized  Violent Flash Mobs running amuck across my city. Is it only a matter of time before Obama creates his civilian  army which is fully funded in the Affordable Health Care Bill?!?!?  WTF

What can we do about all of this?

Juliette

Senator Leahy (D-VT) trying to cut US aid to Israel?

Posted at August 17, 2011 by Bridget // Foreign Policy, Hillbuzz, Identity Politics, The Left, White House Policy

Democrat Senator Patrick Leahy

Senator Patrick Leahy is seeking to limit the amount of US aid to Israel on the grounds that some of the units under the IDF are committing human rights violations.  Leahy heads the Senate Appropriations Committee’s sub-committee on foreign operations and has been responsible for adding amendments that require monitoring of foreign security forces to assure they are not guilty of human rights violations (no problem with that).  Leahy wants to tack on a clause to the US foreign assistance legislation for 2012 that would limit our assistance to Israel’s defense….specifically 3 units that operate under the IDF.

Leahy, a Democrat and senior member of the U.S. Senate, wants assistance withheld from the Israel Navy’s Shayetet 13 unit, the undercover Duvdevan unit and the Israel Air Force’s Shaldag unit.

According to a senior Israeli official in Jerusalem, Leahy began promoting the legislation in recent months after he was approached by voters in his home state of Vermont.

A few months ago, a group of pro-Palestinian protesters staged a rally across from Leahy’s office, demanding that he denounce the killing by Shayetet 13 commandos of nine Turkish activists who were part of the flotilla to Gaza last May.

In the past, Leahy has been a friend of Israel and has considered Yitzhak Rabin and Ehud Barak close personal friends.  According to the Israeli Embassy in Washington, Leahy met with Barak a couple of weeks ago to discuss his new legislation (Barak was trying to persuade him to drop it).

But wait a minute….is Leahy basing his reasoning for this new amendment on the flotilla incident that occurred last May?  The one where Israeli soldiers were ambushed by Turkish terrorists?   The one where those Israeli soldiers had to kill 9 Turkish terrorists in self defense?   The same flotilla that was carrying weapons for Palestinians in Gaza to fight Israel?

Of course, Leahy and his staff are denying that they are trying to weaken Israel.  They are claiming that this amendment applies to all countries in the Middle East that get US foreign aid.  In other words, Israel is being lumped in with Pakistan, Jordan, Afghanistan, Egypt etc.

Why would Leahy succumb to pressure from pro-Palestinian groups?

Oh wait….

He’s a liberal and a politician.

That’s a bad combination.

Perhaps Mr. Leahy should hear  from some pro-Israel people.  Perhaps we should let him know how we feel about his little amendment.

You can contact him here.
