The Muslim Students Association pledge of allegiance
The Muslim Students Association may operate in the United States of America (and Canada) but you can bet that they do not pledge their allegiance to either of their host countries. Their pledge looks remarkably like the credo of the Muslim Brotherhood.

This fatwa was translated by Shaykh Mashoor Hasans student Taalib Tyson after the shaykh gave him his permission to translate his fatwa’s and any of his other works. Shaykh Mashoor Hasan was one of Shaykh Albanis greatest students, he still gives regular lessons in Jordan every week. Taalib Tyson translated fatwa’s were taken from the shaykhs lessons on Saheeh Muslim with the explanation of Imam Nawawi. Taalib attended a majority of these lessons in person but the few lessons he was unable to attend he took the fatwa’s given in those lesson from tapes.
Question
Shaykh may Allah bless you could you inform us whether women are allowed to pluck the hair between their eyebrows?
Answer
My answer is such an act is Haraam! The reason why, well this is because of the statement of the Prophet which is that he forbade in many Ahaadith a woman to pluck her eyebrows!
These Ahaadith we are mentioning they say, Allah curses those women who pluck their eyebrows and the fact that the curse is mentioned in these Ahaadith show that it is from the major sins and Allah with Allah lies success.
Oh well…..no paradise for me.
Ms Nancy’s party was a flop
Poor Nancy. Apparently she had a birthday party for her beloved child, Obamacare, and none of the important people showed up (including the media).

House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi’s not hiding under her desk— she held another press conference Thursday morning to celebrate the one-year anniversary of the health care law next week.
The only thing missing were the heavy hitters.
When the Democrats were pushing health care reform through Congress, Pelosi was always surrounded by a cast of all-stars at the big press conferences. The rest of the leadership was there, as were Rep. John Dingell of Michigan — who had gaveled the passage of Medicare in 1965 — and Henry Waxman of California, who steered the Affordable Care Act through the Energy and Commerce Committee past roadblocks from centrist Democrats.
Thursday, Minority Whip Steny Hoyer was nowhere to be found. Neither was Jim Clyburn of South Carolina, the third-ranking Democrat among House leadership. There was no Waxman. And Dingell, who sat smiling beside President Barack Obama at the signing ceremony one year ago, was gone too.
Instead, Pelosi was flanked by rank-and-file Democrats like Tammy Baldwin of Wisconsin and G.K. Butterfield of North Carolina — just like the previous anniversary event she held a week ago. She did have doctors in white lab coats, and people telling their stories of insurance company hassles over pre-existing conditions.
Well….it looks like she has planned another party this week so that “everyone” can be sure to be there.
I bet after she was humiliated last week, she jumped on her broom and charged down the halls of Congress demanding that all her underlings clear their calendar so that they can surround her and heap praise upon her.

I have to apologize for the HillBuzz spam monster. He has had a very big appetite lately and I have had a hard time keeping up. I know that many of your posts are disappearing into thin air for no reason. Many of you who are very regular posters ( Lisette, Aussie, DG in GA, Bev and many more) are all ending up in the spam pile. It’s crazy and I am very sorry. I am trying to keep up with it but some posts may slip through the cracks. Kevin is working hard on the new site ( I don’t have an update for you yet) so hopefully when it is up and running, we can bury the spam monster. Thanks for your patience. Bridget

Amtrak CEO has to drive to the ribbon cutting ceremony of the new Biden train station.
I find this story hilarious…..
(The Daily Caller) — Today’s the big day for Amtrak’s Wilmington train station. It is being renamed in honor of Vice President and former Delaware Senator Joe Biden following major renovations made possible with stimulus funds.
One problem: the CEO of Amtrak got stuck on the train.
ABC News Deputy Political Director & Political Reporter Michael Falcone tweeted at approximately 10 a.m. that the Acela train he was riding had been “delayed” in Baltimore and that he was sitting next to Amtrak CEO Joe Boardman.
Falcone tweeted, “Acela to NY delayed for ‘unknown period’ Should I feel better that the Amtrak CEO is sitting next to me?”
It quickly became apparent that the CEO’s presence wouldn’t fix the train. A subsequent tweet from Falcone noted, “BAD sign: Amtrak CEO Joe Boardman just got OFF the train to take a car to Wilmington.”
“Amtrak CEO abandoned his own train to make ribbon cutting ceremony for Joe Biden station in Wilmington,” Falcone reported. “When I told Amtrak CEO Joe Boardman it was a bad sign he was ditching the stranded Acela, he chuckled.”
An Amtrak spokesman offered “no comment” to ABC News on the incident.
The rechristening of the Wilmington station was scheduled to begin at noon, according to NBC Philadelphia

Bureaucrats have attempted to reverse underachievement by pouring in oceans of taxpayer money. The cost per pupil for substandard public education there is a staggering $35,748 per year. The performance tax slaves receive in return:
Not a single kid in the high school scored in the advanced category on the high school proficiency test. About 72 percent were “partially” proficient in the verbal category, which is a nice way of saying they can’t read. About 86 percent were partially proficient in math…
