Gold Action Item: what can you do to assist recall efforts against Wisconsin Democrats who fled the state and are hiding in Illinois?
http://budget.wispolitics.com/2011/02/groups-exploring-recalls-of-holperin.html
Recall efforts have begun against two of the Wisconsin Democrat state Senators.
How do we encourage similar efforts against the other 12 Democrats who fled Madison and refuse to uphold their oaths of office?
Another sign of the Obamaconomy depression in Boystown

Unemployment so rampant it’s now ubiquitous double entendre.
A defining moment of the 2012 presidential campaign? Obama sides with corrupt and greedy unions against taxpayers

As usual, brilliant analysis from Professor Jacobson.
Rally in Madison, Wisconsin to support Governor Walker’s stand against the greedy and corrupt unions…tomorrow at noon
http://iowntheworld.com/blog/?p=61667
If you are anywhere near Madison, Wisconsin tomorrow, turn out to support Governor Walker’s push back against the greedy and corrupt public employees’ unions.
If you are going to be there, please contact us at HillBuzz@gmail.com and we can setup a way for you to feed Ground Reports through HB so people coast to coast can get first hand reporting on what’s going on.
We are trying to pull off a little road trip of our own…and will let you know if we can be there ourselves too.
Anyone in Tennessee following the teachers’ unions there? Ground Reports needed.
It looks like Tennessee could be facing the same Democrat thuggery that’s assailing Wisconsin this week, because the Tennessee legislature’s Education Committee has voted to move forward with efforts to wrestle budgetary control away from greedy teachers’ unions and return financial order to the state…and power to parents and duly elected officials chosen by the people to represent the state’s best interests…NOT whatever enriches the teachers’ unions.
We could very well be looking at a national revolution against union corruption, if what’s happening in Wisconsin and Tennessee becomes a spark for a coast to coast movement to remove the unions’ from control of state budgeting processes.
There was a time in the early 20th Century when unions were indeed needed because people had no one to protect them from the corrupt self-interests of bullies. But, by the end of the 20th Century, the unions became the corrupt self-interested bullies that Americans need protections from.
It’s time for this country to overthrow our union oppressors, particularly in “blue states”, where unions have destroyed cities like Detroit, Newark, Milwaukee, Cleveland, Pittsburgh and continue to do their damndest to drag down places like Chicago as well.
This has to stop.
And the teachers’ unions sure look like a great place to start when it comes to pushing back against the Democrat thuggery that has driven so many states into insolvency, all because of the massive perks and ridiculous payouts the unions continue to shake out of state governments.
If you are not personally getting any of these giant union payouts, then you should not be voting Democrat because Democrats sure are proving every day the only thing they care about is protecting unions, because those unions have always been so good about filling Democrats’ campaign contribution coffers to keep them both symbiotically in power.
Gold Team Action Item: Your thoughts on how to make the Democrats’ bad behavior in Washington in league with the teachers’ unions hurt the Left with independent voters coast to coast
What’s happening in Wisconsin involving the teachers’ unions temper tantrum over state budget cuts — and the Democrats who fled the state against a court order mandating them to come to the capitol to do their elected duty to vote on a budget repair bill — has national ramifications, because independent voters are waking up to the fact that Democrats rely heavily on unions to retain power and unions depend on Democrats in office to protect their gravy train of perks and treasury looting.
What Democrats and unions are doing in Wisconsin is hurting them badly in the state…because their tantrums and refusal to rein in the massive abundance of perks they receive, at a time when private sector workers are suffering with unprecedented privations, makes them seem incredibly out of touch and tone deaf.
The Cocktail Party GOP establishment has very stupidly never taken advantage of Democrat foolishness, or these moments in American politics when the unions so nakedly expose themselves as the Democrat party’s thugs, with Democrats revealing their own parasitic dependence on union leeches.
What creative ways can we think of to drive this point home in YOUR STATE and get your friends, family, and neighbors to pay attention to what’s happening in Wisconsin?
What can we do to convince the independent voters Democrats need to win in 2012 to keep the White House and other prominent offices that re-electing Democrats means giving these greedy unions the ability to continue raiding state treasuries in business-as-usual mode.
We all know the Cocktail Party GOP establishment won’t drive this point home effectively, because the consultants that have advised the Republican Party for decades are too wimpy and meek to ever aggressively go after Democrats for things like this. There MUST be someone consistently telling conservatives to pull their punches and not call Democrats and unions out for their greed and thuggery. Whoever that entity is needs to be shouted down and replaced by a strong clarion call to really whallop the Left this time for what’s happening in Wisconsin.
Please chime in with ideas below.
Even more helpful, consider taking the time to research the teachers’ unions and Democrat treasury-raiding in your state. Sit down and do a Ground Report featuring your take on what’s happening in YOUR community and include at least one idea at the end how YOU think this could either be better publicized or addressed where YOU live.
Send your Ground Report to us at HillBuzz@gmail.com and we’ll do our part to get this conversation started in as many states as possible.
We all know the Media will derelict its duty to properly cover the union siege on Wisconsin, that leaves citizen journalists and armchair strategists to pick up the slack.
How about you join in on this effort?
If you don’t know how, or feel hesitant to write because “you are not a reporter”, just give it a shot. Send it to us. We’ll edit it and format it to make it look professional and will help you with whatever you need to get started reporting from your part of the country. YOU have something incredible to contribute but you might not know it yet. YOU have the power and ability to tell the story about the unions’ detrimental impact on YOUR community.
We’ve got a platform here to get your findings and opinion out to a national audience…so PLEASE take a half hour to put onto your computer screen everything YOU feel about teachers’ unions (in particular) and unions in general in your state.
This whole thing is blowing up in Democrats’ faces already…but just imagine how much damage we can do to the Left in independent ranks if we really push hard to do the job the Media won’t and expose this naked and corrupt Wisconsin power tantrum to a national audience.
Wisconsin Ground Report: Media not reporting that Democrats fled the state without doing their jobs and teachers’ unions are harming children with their work stoppage
Dear HilBuzz,
I live 40 miles north of Madison, and our school is closed today so the teachers can join the protest. There is a state wide school rule that states that if school is canceled on Friday any activities Friday evening or during the weekend are also canceled. What that means for the school athletes is no basketball games and no wrestling completions. I know a few parents that are incredibly angry about this. Sports participation is expensive in both time and money. The teachers are lying when they say this is for the children. The teachers are following the union marching orders. The teachers are getting no sympathy from anyone, anymore. They had it for awhile and now it’s gone.
This morning on AM620 I heard an interesting interview with the majority leader, State Senator Fitzgerald. He wanted to clear up a miss conception about our run away Democrats. They left without doing their job. This is not being reported. They did not offer any amendments they did not stick around long enough. They had the opportunity to participate fully in the process, and they did not take it. They took a bus to Rockford instead. You can listen to AM620 here: http://www.620wtmj.com if you click on listen live at the top of the page. Charlie Sykes is on until noon. He is very informative and was in the capitol yesterday. He broadcasts out of Milwaukee.
I think anyone living in any of the districts of these runaways should contact their offices and tell them to get back to work. I support the Governor and have told my representatives as much. There are reports of a TEA Party counter protest being arranged for Saturday at Noon at the capitol. I hope attendance is overwhelming. The unions are bussing in from other states. Let’s show the capitol how much support they have for the Budget Repair Bill from all over the State of Wisconsin.
Thank you for your time.
