HORROR: Thousands of violent prisoners released into the streets during Egyptian chaos

Posted at January 30, 2011 by Kevin DuJan // Breaking News, Featured Content, Hillbuzz

This is horrifying.

Thousands of the very worst of Egypt’s prisoners are being released into the streets during the ongoing chaos engulfing the country.

No doubt this is being done deliberately to add fuel to the fire.

Now vs. Then: Chris Matthews Thinks Panama Canal’s in Egypt. Had previously ridiculed Sarah Palin’s and Michele Bachmann’s intelligence

Chris Matthews repeatedly impugns the intelligence of prominent conservative women.

Yet, on MSNBC 1/29/11, Matthews clearly stated that he believes the Panama Canal is in Egypt.

That’s news that will come as quite a shock to both Panama and Egypt.

The Left will claim this is just a “slip-up” or that “Matthews was tired”, but have you ever seen such consideration given to the verbal slip-ups on the other side of the aisle?

Of course not.

He really and truly is Jimmy Carter all over again

Posted at January 30, 2011 by Kevin DuJan // Hillbuzz, Political Figures, Political Figures - The Left, The Left

We all knew he would be Carter Part Deux, but who guessed it would be this bad?

Kind of says it all, doesn’t it?

San Francisco Ground Report — pro-Palin posters replacing vile Leftist ones around town

Posted at January 30, 2011 by Kevin DuJan // 2012 Presidential Campaign, Action Items, Alinsky Methods, Gold Team - Creativity, Ground Reports, Hillbuzz, Pacific West, Sarah Palin, The Left

Covering over the nastiness directed against Governor Palin

The original posters, which the Left hung to smear Governor Palin after the Tucson shootings

Dear HillBuzz,
Purple and Gold Team member from San Francisco reporting!
I just got back from doing something have been thinking about for two weeks.  Right after the shooting of Gabby Giffords someone in San Francisco plastered some posters of Sarah Palin on a wall on a street where there is a really strong extreme left pocket of people/shops, etc. Ok, most of San Francisco is extreme left, but this street is known as a hotbed of real extreme activism.
Anyway, the posting of these hateful posters made it into the San Francisco Chronicle, Drudge Rport, Lame Cherry, and other blogs made note of it. It bothered me so much, I wanted to deface them in some way that made sure no one could make out what they were.
Then I decided to respond in a different way. A more positive way. In a way that would really neutralize those who put the posters up. I wanted to really screw with their heads.  A supportive poster of Sarah Palin in San Francisco?? Yes! That was the best way to respond!  It would make people really scractch their heads. They would be complete puzzled by it.
So I put a plea out on Hillbuzz last week to help me make up a positive poster I could use to respond to these ugly and hateful posters of Sarah Palin.  One kind reader, Susan, sent me a couple designs. I chose this one to use.
This morning I got up at the crack of dawn and I plastered these posters of Sarah Palin at the exact same spot the other ”enrage” posters were posted.  I wanted to send these to you so you could do what you can with them.  I think this is a GREAT example of the things we can do as Hillbuzz Team Members in the future.  We need to really get out there and fight the left and use their own tactics against them…but in a way they would never expect.  THIS is my first PURPLE Team completed task. Since it was also thinking outside the box, I think it was also a GOLD team task.
Hillbuzz, you have inspired me to do this. Now I want to inspire others to start taking things into their own hands. Start making some noise. Start countering those who attack us or Sarah Palin. Do things that the left would never expect us to do.  A BIG
“thank you” for all the work you at Hillbuzz do!  This one is for YOU, Kevin and Hillbuzz!

Dear Palinpatriot,
Thank you for using your creativity and craftiness to stand up for Governor Palin in your own way.
The Left is so accustomed to being unchallenged in the creative ranks that artists, designers, writers, musicians, and others with creative streaks perhaps have the opportunity to upset the Leftists the absolute most in the next year and a half between now and the 2012 election.
Just imagine if an entire coast to coast network of conservative artists forms and joins together in creating interesting projects like yours in San Francisco.
Republicans have never organized anything like this.  Conservatives have just ceded creative grounds to the Left.
You are at the forefront of changing that.
Keep it up…and keep submitting Gold Team Action Items in the creative realm so we can all participate alongside you!

QUESTION: Has Alderman Sandi Jackson admitted in public that Obama is a one-term president?

Posted at January 30, 2011 by Kevin DuJan // Hillbuzz, Political Figures, Political Figures - The Left, The Left

Click to embiggen

Chicago Alderman Sandi Jackson (wife of Jesse Jackson Jr., not sister to LaToya) seems to have admitted in public what many of us already know:  that Obama is a one-term president.

She’s openly talking about building Obama’s presidential library and museum at the old USX site in an abandoned part of town called “South Shore” that’s eyed for redevelopment.  This is in a rough part of the city that’s near both the University of Chicago and Hyde Park, where both the Obama/Rezko mansion and Louis Farrakhan’s residence are.

What’s interesting is that Jackson seems to be the first in Chicago to break the embargo on talking about the presidential library and museum question, because this is not something that’s discussed until a presidency is winding down and the man in the Oval Office is in the last days of his term.

Jackson says the USX site would put the Obama library on Lake Michigan, with a view of downtown Chicago that would be similar to the Kennedy Library in Boston and the way it’s situated on the water there.

The Obama library will be on the water alright, but it’s going to be thousands of miles away in Honolulu, Hawaii, because there’s just no rational basis to believe Obama would want his library and museum in Chicago — a city he plans to ditch now that he’s gotten everything he needed out of it.  If the Obamas loved Chicago, or even liked it, they’d spend Christmas here, with all the friends neither of them seem to have, in a city they quite clearly want nothing to do with in the winter.  They’ve dragged a massive entourage all the way to Hawaii every Christmas since he took office, where the two of them both clearly prefer spending their time.  Michelle Antoinette, our current First Spouse, even demanded to be flown to Hawaii early on a separate jet this year (at a cost to taxpayers of over $68,000) and then extended the family’s stay a few days because she just didn’t want to head back to the White House.

And after living in the White House for four years, it’s absurd to believe these two will find the Obama/Rezko mansion in Hyde Park suitable any longer.

They’ll be living in Hawaii, and he’ll want his library and museum close by so that he can continue his cult of personality and bask in his own glory close by.

This is much like what Jimmy Carter does in Atlanta.  He lives near the Carter Center, which has a model of his 1970s Oval Office that he often haunts.  Lingering there for hours, Carter pretends it’s 1977 and he hasn’t made too many mistakes, yet, that caused people to hate him.  Tourists who wander into that building (by accident, most usually looking for a restroom, thinking the place was some kind of gas station) stumble upon the former president in his imitation Oval and more often than not leave thinking “Disney sure isn’t doing such a good job with those animatronics these days.  If that was supposed to be Carter, he sure looked terrible!”.

The University of Hawaii wants, and will get, the Obama presidential library and museum…the planning and construction of which will begin in 2013, the year the Obamas leave the White House.  There’s already the Lincoln presidential library and museum in Springfield, Illinois, which is incredible (like going to DisneyWorld, kind of, in Illinois…well worth a day trip from Chicago and back).

I just don’t see Obama trying to compete with Lincoln in this state, and don’t see him wanting his cult center too far away from himself personally, as that would deprive him of those Carter-esque opportunities to haunt an Oval Office replica of his own.  And there just isn’t any possibility that Michelle Antoinette is going to willingly choose to come back to a city she’s never been especially fond of now that it has nothing left to benefit the Obamas.

So, Sandi Jackson’s USX plans have as much chance of happening as that singing career LaToya’s threatened for the last 30 years.

President Bush and the Marine Corps Band reminds us the 45th President will, also, respect and love our military. YOU BETCHA.

Posted at January 30, 2011 by Kevin DuJan // 2012 Presidential Campaign, Conservativism, Hillbuzz, Political Figures, Political Figures - The Right, Sarah Palin

If we work hard, in two years Obama will be gone and a President who love this country and our military will be in the White House.

Remember that every day that goes by, and ask yourself what YOU can do to help defeat Obama and the Left.

New HillBuzz header for the new site — comments appreciated

Posted at January 30, 2011 by Kevin DuJan // Action Items, Activism, Adventures, Blue Team - Research, Boystown, Gold Team - Creativity, Green Team - Fundraising, Hillbuzz, Orange Team - Mysteries, Purple Team - Palin, Red Team - Writing

What do you think of the new header?

The new HillBuzz.org site will launch sometime in February, once we’re able to transfer all the data and archive the three years’ worth of content on the site over to our new dedicated servers.

The content and mission will remain the same, but things will look a little different, with information easier to use.  The main goal of the new site will be to provide better Action Items for regular people to get involved in small ways that will aggregate together to form major headaches for the Left…and to be a user-focused “Choose Your Own Adventure” resource of information and ideas that other conservative sites are not.

I am a huge fan of AnneCoulter.com, MichelleMalkin.com, TammyBruce.com, Redstate.com, RealClearPolitics, and Ace of Spades, but none of these sites are easy to use as resources for information.  They all do a great job keeping tabs on the day’s news and current events, but they aren’t geared towards people who want to get involved and put pressure on both the Left and Cocktail Party GOP establishment that will throw both of them off their game and give Americans the chance to take back our government.

HillBuzz.org is a little site that was founded in February 2008 as a resources and information source for Hillary Clinton’s campaign volunteers here in Chicago — and it evolved into something much more than that as all of us who’ve been part of the site evolved in the years since we started.  The mission’s never changed, though.  It’s always been to be a thorn (or stinger) in the side of those who want to harm America, for whatever reason.  Be they on the Left, or in the GOP go-along-to-get-along Cocktail Party establishment.

I remember the day my friends came to me and pressured me to start up a little Hillary website for our campaign volunteers.  I did not want to do it, because I knew how much time it would take, and I also knew how relentlessly and mercilessly the Obama campaign went after anyone who personally tried to stop him from doing whatever it was he wanted to do to America.  I agreed to lead this effort, which started on Blogspot, and my friend Joaquin set that first bare-bones site up, looking up from the computer to ask me what he should name it.  I told him to call it HillBuzz, and not something with a Hillary 2008 in the title, because if HRC didn’t win the nomination and the presidency and Obama made it to the White House I knew there’d be a lot more work to be done that would carry forward long after the 2008 campaign was over.

I am a very stubborn person who does not like to be told what to do, by anyone, and certainly not by hatemail…so in the two years since the 2008 campaign ended, I’ve resisted changing our masthead banner largely because of all the nasty emails I get demanding I do so.  ”Take Hillary off your site!”. “You shouldn’t have Hillary’s picture up!”.  ”Do this! Do that! Blah Blah!”.

My boyfriend Justin is someone who has an irrational hatred of Hillary Clinton. I just can’t understand that, because HRC has been kinder to me than just about anyone I have ever known.  She is a terrific woman, and during the 2008 campaign I got to know her to some degree, having seen her once a week for a stretch of a few months.  Imagine having that sort of encounter with someone from history you always admired.

So, this site will always have a special place for Hillary Clinton on it, and will always be kind to her and celebrate her many achievements in life.  But HRC is clearly not our primary focus any longer.  In 2012, we will support Governor Sarah Palin for President.  Between now and then, we’ll do our level best to make sure the things that were done to Hillary Clinton in 2008 are not repeated against the Governor’s campaign in 2011 and 2012.  It’s a role we can play, in deja vu, since we’ve been there and done that already.

I have honestly dreaded changing the masthead to one that does not include Hillary Clinton because I know the sort of mocking and abuse it’s going to generate via hatemail.  ”Finally!”. “It’s about time!”.  Etc.  This site, and me personally, are attacked repeatedly in a hundred different ways for speaking up about things as we see them.  The abuse I’ll take because I’ve changed the masthead will be personally tough for me to bear, because it’s not an abandonment of a person I like on a personal level…just a reflection that we’ve moved on since the 2008 campaign and are geared towards the future.

So, I’ve opened this thread for anyone who wants to be cruel and evil about this to do so here, and now, and get it out of your system.  I’m dating a guy, whom I love very much, who just can’t help himself and takes nonstop smacks at HRC every time he sees her picture.  It’s a disease he has.  I love Justin, but he has Hillary Derangement Syndrome and there is just no helping him.  So, I ignore it and keep doing what I am doing.  I know I have to deal with this sort of thing from a lot of people who read this site, and I’ve accepted that.

I want the launch of the new site to be a really positive thing for all of us…and my best attempt to do everything I personally can to create something that could be a useful tool in the battle ahead, between now and 2012.  The last thing I want is for the new site’s debut to be drowned in “You changed the masthead!” nonsense, so I want to get this out of the way today.

The masthead is changing.  It was my decision.  Everyone who wrote hateful emails demanding this change did not win.  You didn’t break me. Instead, it was a natural decision for this moment in time, appreciating the reality that the little Hillary Clinton campaign site based in Boystown has evolved into something more, and this is the end result of that.

So, feel free to chime in on the redesign below.  The site’s new web designer will read this thread, I’m sure, and will take your comments into consideration as we tweak the new site before its launch.  This is an enormous and emotional change for me, and for all of us here behind the scenes at HB, so I hope you like the direction we’re going and understand it’s for the best in terms of how we can most effectively channel our time, energy, and resources towards 2012.

The goal is to defeat the Left and Obama in 2012.  Whether you love HB, love me, or hate us both, that’s what we’re committed to so if that’s what you want, we are on the same side through the next presidential election at least. I love America more than I could ever tell you and will work every day between now and the next election to do all I can to save our country.  I hope you continue that journey with us on our new site just a few weeks away.
