Remember the “Dubai World” islands project? It’s gone belly-up, and is actually sinking back into the sea. If you didn’t see this coming, you have never studied much in Islam

Posted at January 20, 2011 by Kevin DuJan // Essays - Islam, Hillbuzz, Unveiling Islam

My friend Robby’s sister, Ann-Louise, used to go on and on about Dubai, and how much she wanted to live there, calling it “the future” and marveling at all the things being built there…with slave labor.

THAT part Ann-Louise demurred never to talk about, denying Muslims still hold and abuse slaves, but it’s true.  Everything that’s been built in Dubai in its massive construction boom was created on the backs of slaves…men mostly, but including female sex workers as well, who were duped into coming to Dubai from India, Indonesia, Pakistan, and Asian countries with promises of jobs and large financial incentives to leave their homes and lives behind and work in the Dubai construction industry.  When these people arrived in Dubai, their passports were taken from them, they were stuffed into metal cargo crates that sleep 20 men to a container, rationed just enough food and water to keep them alive, and then enslaved as the brute muscle behind the fanciful Muslim building projects that so fascinated Ann-Louise.

Everything in Dubai was built with slaves, and everything in Dubai is now falling apart because more likely than not the slaves sabotaged these building projects as they were going up.

Wouldn’t you have done that?

Just think about it.

You are forced to sleep in metal shipping crates with dozens of fellow slaves, exposed to the burning heat of day and the freezing cold of night, never paid any wages for your work, while your Muslim masters hang onto your passport and stand guard outside the barbed wire perimeter keeping you enslaved against your will.  Wouldn’t you dream of loosening bolts, mixing bad cement, and doing whatever you could every day, in small ways, to ensure the Muslim building projects collapsed under the weight of Islam’s own hubris?

Islam is not an inventor or perfecter of anything.  It is a corruptor, and a user.  Islam was designed to be a conquest engine that militaristically and savagely sweeps into a territory, exploits its people and resources, and maintains control through the rote memorization and implementation of the Koran…itself a sadistic playbook for the conquest and subjugation of others.

Muslims do not create beautiful, fanciful projects out of thin air that rise high into the sky with longterm stability…instead, they just buy architectural plans for massive, dreamlike fancies and then follow the Koran’s lead in creating the nightmarish working conditions that enslave others to build these Muslim whims.

All of this evil is catching up with Dubai…which is literally falling apart at the seams.

The “Dubai World” islands are sinking.

It would not surprise me in the least if one day soon the current tallest building in the world, the Burj Kalifel, also built with slave labor, collapses upon itself, like the Tower of Babel.

There’s a reason Muslim countries are so backwards, corrupt, and incompetent in almost everything they do…and it’s the Koran and the toxic influence it has wherever it’s spread.

Erik Erikson on Governor Palin — WSB Radio.com

Posted at January 20, 2011 by Kevin DuJan // 2012 Presidential Campaign, Hillbuzz, Sarah Palin, TV - Sarah Palin's Alaska

If you are listening to Erik Erikson from Redstate talking about Governor Sarah Palin on WSB Radio.com tonight, please chime in with your thoughts on what he’s been saying.

http://wsbradio.com/inside/erick_erickson_bio.html

There’s an awful lot of commercials on this station.  I wanted to catch Erikson’s take on Palin 2012, but so far have not heard him say anything about her, besides that her supporters are “cultists”.

Poor word choice on Erikson’s part, because Palin supporters are fervent and motivated, but they certainly think for themselves.  Their zeal for Palin comes from their love of country and firm believe that Governor Palin is the person who can best fight for America.  That’s where my passionate support for her comes from, and I am sure I am not alone in this.

What think you about what Erikson’s been saying?

Chime in and bring others up to speed.

***************************************

938pm CST  Live Blog — this is just what Erik Erikson and his callers are saying, without commentary from us.

ERIK:  People get angry with me for saying stuff…people have gotten so used to defending Sarah Palin that they get very thin-skinned about her.  I am telling you that I would support Palin over just about anyone right now, but I do not think she would win the general election.

To win the general election looking at the poll numbers right now, you need to mobilize your base and persuade the independents…but I think she has a hurdle and everything she does, any typo she does, becomes fodder for Katie Couric on the news.  That’s a problem. And life is not fair.

ERIK’S CALLER:  She is unelectable, but she is a great diversionary tactic.  She drives the Left crazy and she takes the heat off other candidates.

ERIK:  I would love a Senator Palin or a President Palin.  I just can’t see her beating Obama.  She would whip him in a debate but I do not think Independent voters would support her.  She would match him intellectually.  You do not get elected Governor by being stupid, but she has other hurdles to overcome.

ERIK’S SECOND CALLER:  You are calling her unelectable because the media attacks her.  You are saying they win, because the media has done what they wanted to and set out to do to her, to demolish her, so Erik you are saying that they have achieved their goal so I am going to pick someone the media likes better.

ERIK:  I do think the media and the Left have won on this and that Palin’s team has not done any favors in combatting this.  For right now, the Independent voters have said let’s put on our blinders and go away.

ERIK’S SECOND CALLER:  There is a difference between leadership and popularity.

ERIK:  Here is my other point:  none of us know if Sarah Palin will run for president.  God bless her if she does, but we don’t know that.  We assume there is a mass level of support for her, but here is my vantage point as a grand poohbah, and I will tell you that from my vantage point you have a lot of people like me who will fight to the death for Sarah Palin, because of the massive media attacks on her.  I promise you the media sent more reporters to Alaska than they ever sent to Chicago to investigate Obama.  We don’t have his college transcript.  We don’t have his law transcript.  We don’t have his thesis from college.  We don’t have his constituent file.  We don’t have anything on him being a lawyer in Illinois.  For you idiots still hung up on the birth certificate, this is what you should be focused on.  Someone in the media knows even Palin’s bathroom schedule, and the media have made her unelectable because they attack her too much.

ERIK’S THIRD CALLER:  We need to focus on Palin’s record of achievement, including all the way back to her being Mayor of Wasilla.  You can drive around Wasilla and see all the things Palin did as Mayor, all the clinics she got there, all the things that were build because she brought business there, she impacted positively the entire geographic area.  She put in a sewer system, pavement, roads, it takes cooperation money and timing to do all these things.

ERIK:  I am not denying Sarah Palin is accomplished and people do not know about or appreciate what she did as Governor.  But the media has won and she is unelectable because she is attacked too much and we need someone who would not be attacked as much to be the nominee.

ERIK’S FOURTH CALLER:  I don’t think Sarah Palin has the proper leadership experience compared to other candidates who are going to run or are planning on running . Obama does not have the experience either.

ERIK:  The man did jack before he became president.

ERIK’S FOURTH CALLER:  I would get behind her if she was the nominee, but my issue is in the primaries we need to decide what the ideal notion of the Republican candidate is.  Right now if we look at the polling numbers it is not in Palin’s favor to build coalition numbers.

ERIK:  There is an issue with her being overexposed.  Look at Barack Obama.  Pay attention to this point.  What happens to Barack Obama when he goes away.  His poll numbers go up.  What happens when he is seen all the time.  His poll numbers go down.  Palin needs to go under the radar for a while.  She is overexposed and needs to stop doing all this extracurricular stuff and go away for a while.  She has that TLC show.  She’s on Facebook.  Whatever.  She needs to just go away.

Governor Palin laying groundwork in Iowa

Posted at January 20, 2011 by Kevin DuJan // 2012 Presidential Campaign, Cocktail Party GOP, Hillbuzz, Sarah Palin, The Soggy Sandwich Society

HotAir has not been favorable to a presidential run for Governor Palin.  Ed Morrissey is a big Tim Pawlenty fan, and that has a lot to do with it.

Tim Pawlenty will not beat Obama in 2012, and neither will any of the Cocktail Party soggy sandwich establishment Republicans the GOP and national media continue to push towards the nomination.  Pawlenty might be a nice man.  He might have been a good governor of Minnesota.  But he is not going to set the world on fire and mobilize the sort of forces and resources needed to combat the media and Left’s full court press to re-elect Obama.

If you do not already, you need to understand what is at stake in 2012:  the Left invested EVERYTHING in Obama, and they need two terms with him in office to do the damage to the country that they want to do.  No second term means exile into the wilderness for the Left for another generation. They have come so close, after plotting and scheming for so long, to let this once-in-a-lifetime chance slip away.

A wimp like Tim Pawlenty is not going to be able to stop the Left in 2012.  This is just reality.

Governor Palin can and will stop Obama.  Putting aside all personal feelings for the Governor (a woman I respect and admire in whatever she does), the reason I am so gung-ho for her candidacy is because she possesses the precise internal fortitude and natural abilities needed at this particular moment in time.  She is honestly the only Republican I can imagine on the field being able to withstand all that will be thrown against her.  She is indeed tough enough, and is the only Republican I’ve seen in a generation who actually understands the need to hit the Left with everything she’s got, pulling no punches.

There is no man in the entire Cocktail Party establishment who can be trusted to do that.

If you disagree, chime in, but be prepared to cite examples of this mythical Republican male who has proven his abilities to go the distance in the face of the volcanic, Mordor-grade trial by fire the Left and media (redundancy alert!) have in store for whomever runs against Obama in 2012.

************************

UPDATE: HotAir just released this: Tim Pawlenty’s book sells fewer than 5,000 copies in its first week.  There have been books “written” by famous cats and dogs that have sold more than that, in their FIRST DAY of release.

Both of Governor Palin’s books were instant bestsellers.  Going Rogue actually outsold not only Obama’s books (the ones he allegedly wrote, but sure sound like they came from the minds of William Ayers and Jon Favreau, respectively), but BILL CLINTON’S MEMOIR.

If you are a big fan of Pawlenty, like Ed Morrissey is, I’d love to hear you reconcile the reality of anemic book sales with his viability as a national candidate.  If people aren’t energized to plunk down $20 to read his deepest, most personal thoughts in his “epic tome” then I just don’t see how they are going to be jazzed up to spend next winter in the brutal cold on the ground for this man in a presidential campaign…or go the distance for him through the general election, spending every cent they have to elect this man president.

That’s what’s needed.

There are millions of us who will do this gladly for Governor Palin.

If Tim Pawlenty is not worth a $20 commitment in January of 2011 to read his book, then he should not be pushed as a serious 2012 presidential candidate because the enthusiasm gap between reality and what the Cocktail Party establishment wants is just too enormous to take him seriously.

Civility: A New Concept for Democrats, Including Obama — by Megan Fox

Posted at January 20, 2011 by Kevin DuJan // Climate of Hate, Hillbuzz, Hillbuzz Graphics, Hypocrisy, Multimedia, The Left

Megan Fox wrote a post on the above video today, from the 2008 campaign, which Obama wildly endorsed…a video showing someone taking a hammer to Hillary Clinton’s face.

Obama has a history of using violent imagery like this. In his speech, and in videos he embraces, whatever’s best for promoting him and tearing down his opponents.

How quickly Democrats forget when it’s convenient for them to do so.

“We Just Witnessed the Media’s Test Run to Re-Elect Barack Obama” — William Jacobson at Legal Insurrection

Posted at January 20, 2011 by Kevin DuJan // Cocktail Party GOP, Common Leftist Attacks, Consistent Mistakes, Debate Prep, Eeyore Breeding, Enabling the Left, Hillbuzz, Hillbuzz Graphics, Lamestream Media, Multimedia, The Left, The Soggy Sandwich Society

You can't just replace one Darren with another, right out of central casting, and expect to make much of a difference at all

Here’s an excellent read by Professor Jacobson over at Legal Insurrection.

He’s calling the Lamestream Media’s efforts on the part of the Left “Operation Demoralize”, which is the game plan for re-electing Obama president.

It essentially boils down to what I call Eeyore-breeding, which is easier than propagating rabbits in Republican ranks.  I have never understood why, but conservative people in general just seem to be a naturally pessimistic lot who believe almost everything they see on TV if it’s negative news about a Republican.  ”We’re doomed!”, “Woe is us!”, and “We might as well just give up, or not even try” are as commonly heard in conservative circles as “Those dummies fell for it again!” is shouted with wild, incredulous glee in the offices of MSNBC.

Professor Jacobson gives an excellent rundown of the media’s efforts to attack Governor Sarah Palin at any cost, eight days of the week, because the Left is terrified of the Governor and knows she would wipe the floor with Obama.  She is exactly the candidate that’s needed, because she is the only person on the political radar I believe has the constitution and fortitude to really hit Obama hard, on all issues, including why he’s hiding his birth certificate and what he did at Trinity United for 20 years, in those pews, or in back rooms all around Chicago cooking up the various deals that landed him in power.  Governor Palin will pull no punches, and would not run the sort of milquetoast, generic, Borax campaign Cocktail Party consultants in the GOP want the 2012 nominee to run.

What Professor Jacobson leaves out of his analysis is the clear and determined effort on the part of the media to promote Cocktail Party, losing candidates for the GOP 2012 nomination while vociferously attacking Governor Palin.

This is a one, two punch…and it is deliberate and obvious.

While punching at Governor Palin with one arm, the Left pushes forward someone like Mike Pence, Tim Pawlenty, Mittens Romney, John Thune, Mitch Daniels, or Jon Hunstman with the other arm.  If you are paying any attention whatsoever right now to what the media is doing, you will see that all of the men above receive NONSTOP POSITIVE COVERAGE BY THE MEDIA.

Why is that?

Mainly, because the lie being spread in Republican ranks, DELIBERATELY, by the media is that “Sarah Palin is too polarizing to be president”, “Sarah Palin is unelectable because she gets such negative coverage”, and “Sarah Palin has such high negative polling”.  The media wants to dupe conservatives the way they’ve duped them in the past, by writing love letters to a flawed Republican the media wants to run a Democrat against.  Take John McCain, for instance.  That man received the same sort of nonstop, fawning praise Pence, Pawlenty, Romney, Thune, Daniels, and Huntsman get in the press today.  If you are only recently joining us from your coma, as soon as McCain locked down the Republican nomination in 2008, the media turned on him, and didn’t let up until Obama defeated him.

It’s what the media does.

The Left and the media are one and the same, and the media exists to destroy conservatives…quite ingeniously, as frustrating as it is, by convincing conservatives that the only people who could actually defeat the Democrats are the ones conservatives must not support.  Instead, the media dupes these skittish, reactionary, well-trained primary voters to abandon stalwart conservatives with backbone in favor of the cucumber and mayonnaise milquetoast “moderate” Cocktail Party crowd.

Honestly, the most absurd thing I have heard in a great many years is this astroturfed “movement” currently afoot to draft Mike Pence to run for president in 2012.  If I was asked to write the most surreal satire of a candidacy against Obama next year, it would be one centered on a man who LOOKS EXACTLY LIKE JOHN McCAIN, because running a pasty, white-haired, generic male Republican straight out of central casting WORKED SO WELL LAST TIME.

On sites like Ace of Spades, Redstate, and others, I see people making comments like “Yah, Pence is great.  The media loves him.  He doesn’t have high negatives.  There’s nothing bad anyone can say about the guy!”.

Fools.

Pence, Pawlently, Romney, Thune, Daniels, and Hunstman would all be eviscerated by the national media in a general election battle.  They would employ the same Cocktail Party consultants John McCain hired…who lost him the election because these clowns essentially ran Bob Dole’s losing 1996 playbook.  It is the only campaign they know how to run, and they run it again and again every chance they get to push a boring white male as milquetoast “moderate” as possible for the presidency, because that’s what the Left tells them to do.

And they listen!

I don’t know 90% of you out there who read HillBuzz every day, and I don’t know what your individual talents and strengths are, but I know you love this country or you would not keep taking time out of your busy days to read about politics at places like this.  I do know, however, that there is SOMETHING you are going to do between now and the 2012 nominating contests that will help thwart the Left’s “Operation Demoralize”.

If enough of us keep calling the Cocktail Party out on its stupidity and keep exposing the Left’s lies and schemes to conservatives, we can’t help but wake up enough people to prevent the Left from choosing its Republican opponent…the way Democrats succeeded in doing in 2008.

Articles like the one at Legal Insurrection point out the problem, which we further identify here on HB all the time…but the real trick will be figuring out a concerted way to break the cycle “The Party of Stupid” falls into and negate the tactics the Left so successfully employs that drive conservatives to destroy their own chances at victory time and time again.

What think you on all of this?

Democrat Congressman Steve Cohen calls anyone who opposes Obamacare a Nazi

Posted at January 20, 2011 by Kevin DuJan // Climate of Hate, Cocktail Party GOP, Enabling the Left, Hillbuzz, Lamestream Media, Refudiate Media Attacks, Tea Party, The Left

Democrat Congressman Steve Cohen breaks Godwin's Law in his attacks on Republicans.

There’s an Internet term called “Godwin’s Law” that boils down to this:  the moment you compare your opponent, in anything, to Adolf Hitler and the Nazis, you lose your argument…since the gymnastic hyperbole involved in equating whatever you are talking about to the Third Reich and its Holocaust across Europe is so absurd you lose all credibility.  Instantly.  The only time you should include Nazis in your normal conversation is when you are either in a history class, watching one of the good Indiana Jones movies, or possibly describing Leona Helmsley’s hospitality skills.

Democrat Congressman Steve Cohen has called those opposed to Obamacare Nazis.

The Lamestream Media is ignoring this, because a Democrat has done something wrong and terrible.  The Cocktail Party GOP establishment is ignoring it too, because that’s what they do, to attract as little attention to themselves as possible and never, ever fight back.

What other instances can you find today of Democrats referring to political opponents as Nazis?  Have you ever seen a list compiled of this sort of bad behavior on the part of the “party of tolerance”?

Whenever things like this happen, we need to retrieve all of these instances from the great Memory Hole so that Democrats can be reminded of the terrible things they do.  We all know the media won’t bring any of this up…but if conservatives create a rapid response climate that calls the Left on the carpet for remarks like Cohen’s, then it will be increasingly difficult for the media to cater to Democrats like this.

In time, viewers and readers will start loudly asking WHY, exactly, the national media never mentions instances like this.

If we get much better at compiling, recording, and rehashing this stuff every time someone like Steve Cohen breaks Godwin’s Law, the media will be forced to either start doing its job or cement its slide into irrelevance.

What can YOU do today to help this along?

Can you spare a few minutes to do some research on Democrats’ history of invoking the Nazis to smear Republicans?

Either add your findings to this thread or email to us at HillBuzz@gmail.com

Rep. Paul Ryan rips the CBO’s fictionalized assessment of Obamacare to shreds

Posted at January 20, 2011 by Kevin DuJan // Conservativism, Hall of Heroes, Hillbuzz, Political Figures - The Right, Refudiate Media Attacks, Tea Party, The American Reistance

Seriously.

Even if it’s 9am when you are reading this and your body insists you need waffles, pop some Orville Reddenbacher and then come back to your screen.

This is a great video to start your day with.  It’s what Republicans should do day in and day out from now until 2012.

No more soggy cucumber and mayonnaise Mittens Romney approved sandwiches.
