GREAT MERCIFUL ZEUS: Kennedy family gets History Channel to pull the plug on “The Kennedys” miniseries…after it has already finished filming!

Posted at January 7, 2011 by Kevin DuJan // Featured Content, Great Merciful Zeus, Hillbuzz, The Kennedys, The Left

This is quite possibly the biggest story in entertainment news that you will most likely not hear reported anywhere: the Kennedy Family has successfully pressured the History Channel to pull the plug on “The Kennedys” miniseries that the Kennedys have wanted canceled since the script was written.

That’s because the script was written by the man behind FOX’s 24, Joel Surnow, who is a committed conservative critical of the Kennedy Family.

“The Kennedys” miniseries stars Katie Holmes as Jackie and Greg Kinnear as JFK.  The rest of the cast is comprised of other famous names, so this was not a cheap, made-for-TV, production…it was a no-expenses-spared affair that portrayed the Kennedys in a very bad light.

It is beyond stunning the History Channel would decide not to air the miniseries…after the miniseries was actually filmed, considering the amount of money spent on it and the cast involved.

The Kennedy Family had lobbied to scrap the project since they first learned of it in December 2009.  It looks like they finally got their way. They couldn’t stop the Cape Wind Farm Project near their Hyannis Port sea palace (which deceased murderer Ted Kennedy stalled for over a decade), but they did stop Americans from seeing an accurate and honest depiction of their familial machinations on the History Channel.

Perhaps this was their last hurrah, after facing the reality that as of the 112th Congress the United States Capitol is free of all Kennedys for the first time in 63 years, with no member of this clan in major elected office anywhere in the country.

Sic transit gloria Kennedy.

Shame on you, History Channel, for caving into the whims of these drunken, venomous spiders in our nation’s storied rafters.

New York City Ground Report

Posted at January 7, 2011 by Kevin DuJan // Ground Reports, Hillbuzz, Northeast

Dear HillBuzz,

You say you want to know what people are thinking on the ground, let me tell
you, a young man I know tells me a lot of people in Manhattan are
saying Hilary would have made a better president than Obama. These
were nearly all young Obama supporters. Conservative folks I know from
different parts of the country all want a Republican president in 2012
… or Hilary. I hear that a lot. I occasionally hear Republicans says
“We can’t just be against the Dems, we’ve got to have something to
offer.” I steer them toward Youtube videos of Paul Ryan (R-Wisc.) and
Marco Rubio (R-Fla.). The feedback I hear is overwhelming. There also
seems to be a growing recognition and appreciation of Michelle
Bauchman. There is a deep respect for Sarah Palin. People are amazed
at her strength. Some conservatives like her but don’t feel she has
the gravitas to be president. Many would vote for her but don’t think
she could beat Obama in a general election and feel too much is at
stake to use their vote as a “statement”. Personally, I’m tired of
hearing conservative pundits say she can’t win. The whole point of a
primary and election is to give someone the opportunity to convince
voters they should be elected. I would love to see her and Michelle
compete. Let’s move beyone tokenism.

By the way, tell your boyfriend to read a book called “Emotional
Vampires.” It will help him deal with bullies and some other maddening
personality types. I’ve read several of books in that category and EV
is by far the best ever. It explains why ignoring bullies doesn’t work
any better than fighting with them. Once you understand what you are
dealing with, it makes the solutions so much more obvious.

Keep up the great work!

Liz in Manhattan

Dorito’s ad makes fun of Eucharist – compares it to snack chip. Would they ever make a “comedic ad” with sacrileges aimed at Islam?

Posted at January 7, 2011 by Kevin DuJan // Hillbuzz, Hypocrisy, The Left

In this Dorito's/Pepsi Max ad, a Christian congregation needs more members so the pastor replaces the Holy Eucharist and communion wine with Dorito's and Pepsi Max.

People line up in the ad to receive Dorito's instead of Holy Eucharist.

One pastor passes out Dorito's instead of Holy Eucharist.

Another pastor passes out Pepsi Max instead of communion wine.

Appalling.

There will be no more Doritos ever bought for Buzzquarters.  Not that we were buying Doritos anyway, since they remind us of Saddam Hussein (they were his favorite snack food, apparently; he called them “Dories” and would beg US troops for them while he was imprisoned in Iraq).

But, this is beyond the pale. It’s an ad for Dorito’s and Pepsi Max that has been rejected for Super Bowl air play because in it Christians in church are depicted replacing the Holy Eucharist and communion wine with Dorito’s and Pepsi Max.

It’s horrible.  I’m not scarred for life after having seen it, but I think it’s crass and disrespectful.  Especially that last, closing shot of both the church advertising Free Dorito’s and Pepsi Max Sunday and the pastor with his feet on his desk eating Dorito’s like a glutton in his rectory.

Question:  would any ad firm ever make a commercial depicting any similar sacrilege aimed at Islam?

Bonus Question: if an ad firm did this, how many of its executives would be murdered by Muslims for the outrage?

Follow-up: is the reason so many companies, ad firms, entertainment producers, etc. attack Christians (Catholics in particular) because they know we are too civilized and reasoned to fight back?

Do you know what’s a great snack to eat during the Super Bowl?

Fresh fruit.

Do you know what’s great to drink during the Super Bowl?

Water.

Don’t give companies that malign Christians without giving the same equally offensive treatment to Muslims any of your business.

What’s a topic that fascinates you? January is a great opportunity to take up a new hobby and make it “your beat”

Posted at January 7, 2011 by Kevin DuJan // Action Items, Blue Team - Research, Gold Team - Creativity, Green Team - Fundraising, Hillbuzz, Orange Team - Mysteries, Purple Team - Palin, Red Team - Writing

My favorite thing to see in an in-box around here is a GROUND REPORT from a reader who has something interesting to say about what’s happening in her or his state…particularly if that GROUND REPORT deals with exposing Democrat corruption, combatting Voter Fraud, talking about the Pigford Black Reparations scam, or otherwise giving us a local spin on any of the topics we regularly cover here at HB.

Clearly, if you read political sites you are interested in these things and care about your country.

Why not take things to the next level and start a new hobby for yourself in 2011? Instead of being a casual observer in the political process, why not become a voice of activism…why not become an expert in something that interests or fascinates you, and start compiling a dossier on that topic?

Did you ever have debate class in school?  Did you ever make information cards and store them in a recipe box to make yourself fluent on a topic? Did you ever use notecards to assemble the facts you needed for a term paper?

What if you picked up these old habits again, here in 2011, and put them towards just one topic that really interests you?  As you are reading online every day, you could look for articles that pertain to that topic.  Take notes on your index cards.  Add them to your recipe box.  And then, once a week, do a little write up on what you found about that topic.

You can send that as a letter off to your Congressional representatives, to your local news agencies, to us here at HillBuzz.org, and to everyone on your email list if you want.

This “Roundup” from you on whatever it is that most interests you would be a great way of pooling information together that people would not have otherwise, especially if it’s something like Voter Fraud you are researching, since the Leftist-controlled media clearly never wants that talked about.  If it hurts Democrats, the media won’t report on it…which means citizen activists need to pick up that slack.

And that means you, your index cards, and “Roundups” of information.

If you think you are not more inventive, creative, and industrious than paid reporters who work for the dinosaur media, then you clearly have never met anyone who majored in journalism in college.

Something for you to think about as we head into the weekend.

Jay Leno’s goof on Nancy Pelosi passing gavel to John Boehner. And, no, violence against women is never funny, even if it’s Nancy Pelosi

Posted at January 7, 2011 by Kevin DuJan // Boystown, Hillbuzz, Hillbuzz TV, Multimedia, Pop Culture

Here’s the video Jay Leno ran of Nancy Pelosi passing the gavel to John Boehner, relinquishing her role as Speaker.

As satisfying as it is to live in a world where Nancy Pelosi is no longer in the presidential line of succession, violence against women is never funny.

At Sidetrack here in Boystown, on comedy night Thursdays, the VJ regularly plays what appears to be a Sidetrack homemade video that compiles clips from various horror movies through the years…with people’s eyes being gauged out, bodies being split in two, heads exploding, and blood gushing everywhere.  At the end of this violence spree, Sidetrack’s shows an image of Governor Sarah Palin, asking viewers how great they think it would be if those things were done to the Governor.

Of course, being Boystown, where 98% of the guys unthinkingly do whatever the Left tells them and revel in misogyny at every available opportunity, the bar erupts in cheers.

It’s never funny to see a woman be smacked in the head with a large hammer…whether you  like that woman or not, she’s someone’s mother.

She was a terrible Speaker.  She is a bad Congresswoman.  She is a bad person.  But, it’s not funny to see her beaten upside her head.

Just as it’s cringe-inducing and stomach-turning to watch the misogynistic, anti-woman, attack videos Sidetrack plays against Governor Palin.

On “comedy night”.

Some comedy.

Would hate to see what these people called tragedy.

More proof of how much ridicule drives authoritarians insane: Nazi Germany secretly declared war against a dog that made fun of Hitler. A dog who wore glasses!

Posted at January 7, 2011 by Kevin DuJan // Conservativism, Debate Prep, Hillbuzz, Resources - Conservativism, Standing Up To Bullies, The Left, Weaknesses

Not long ago, I ran an essay on ridicule as an effective weapon against authoritarians…specifically how effective ridicule can be when employed against the Left.  My boyfriend Justin grew up in a very conservative, Republican family where he was taught that making fun of Democrats and the things they do was “wrong” because conservatives are supposed to “take the high road” and never say boo about anything Democrats do.  Justin particularly does not like the Class vs. Crass or Who’s Dressed Better series we run here on HillBuzz, ridiculing Michelle Antoinette Obama’s extravagance, despite the deliberate use of the current First Spouse as a political and policy tool by this White House (thus making her fair game, especially since her directive as First Spouse is a “crusade against other people’s obesity” (ignoring her own) while posing for an endless stream of “world’s greatest fashion icon” photo spreads in every Leftist magazine, while wearing ill-fitting, inappropriate clothing as much as possible).

Ridicule is the Left’s best and most effective weapon.  It was one of the most powerful commands Saul Alinksy issued to his acolytes, telling them to employ ridicule generously against all opponents because the laughter it brings weakens them and delegitimizes anything they stand for.

Conservatives, somewhere, somehow, by someone, are taught to let the Left win…and to “take the high road” by not using effective tools to lampoon their opposition and make Americans see the Left for the deranged fools they really are.  Taking ridicule off the table as a weapon against the Left is like managing a baseball team and forbidding your pitchers from throwing curve balls or your runners from stealing bases, because “both are wrong”.  Really?  Who’s decided that, and who’s enforcing it, and why are Democrats allowed to do whatever they please to make their point and mock conservatives?

My primary goal in 2011 is to reach as many conservatives as possible and encourage them to develop a sense of humor that ridicules, lampoons, and decimates the Left with much-deserved mocking laughter.

All authoritarians who believe they are better, and know better, than those they seek to subjugate and rule fear ridicule.

Today, a good friend sent me this article about Nazi Germany declaring war on a dog who made fun of Hitler.

You read that right.

A dog.

Nazi Germany declared war on a dog.

Apparently, a few months before the Nazis launched their invasion of the Soviet Union, someone in Hitler’s circle became aware of a dog named Jackie in the Finnish city of Tampere.  Jackie’s owner, Tor Borg, trained the dog to ape Hitler’s Nazi salute. Resistance to laughter was futile, as Borg’s dog mocked Der Fuhrer so effectively.

German Vice Consul Willy Erkelenz excitedly wrote to Berlin from Helsinki about a dog ridiculing Hitler every time someone said the fascist’s name…since that prompted Jackie to make the canine version of the Nazi salute. Eventually, the Foreign Office, the Economy Ministry, and the Chancellory all kept detailed records of correspondence between one another bemoaning the impact this dog was having on the Third Reich.

A dog.

These government ministries took their eyes off the Soviet invasion to discuss in great detail the comedic stylings of a dog.

That would be like the White House, the DNC, and the Cocktail Party GOP establishment (so Vichy in nature) carrying on a continued correspondence about the goings-on at HillBuzz.org and things a bunch of gay guys in Boystown do to thwart the Obama Administration and its RINO enablers.

The Nazis tried to destroy the pharmaceutical company Jackie the dog’s owner ran, but it long outlived “the thousand-year reich”. Today, it’s the leading Nordic wholesaler of pharmaceuticals.

If a dog could rattle Nazi Germany like this, just imagine how many nightmares you could give Obama, his Democrats, and their Cocktail Party Vichy enablers by calling out every ridiculous thing these people do, mocking them, exposing their hypocrisy, and lampooning them at every possible opportunity.

Do not be afraid of the Left and its thuggery:  mock it.

Make fun of it.

Ridicule it.

If you are someone, like Justin, who was taught your whole life that “conservatives don’t stoop to that level” then I hate to break this to you, but you are a damn fool.

The Left is 20% of the population  but controls the country because people like you sit back, like Justin, and let the Left get away with thuggery and intimidation because you somehow, somewhere, learned that conservatism meant meekness and timidity.

If a DOG could stand up to Hitler and send the Reich Chancellory into apoplectic fits of irrationality, then maybe you could think of something you could do in your own life to precipitate a similar response in the White House by ridiculing the Obama presidency.

What think you?

Updating the “Nope, No Pattern Here” list for 2011 — what instances of Muslim violence against the West are missing?

Posted at January 7, 2011 by Kevin DuJan // CAIR Bears, Hillbuzz, Hillbuzz Graphics, Multimedia, No Pattern Here, Resources - Islam, Unveiling Islam

The "misunderstood CAIR Bears of Islam" strike again!

A week before the November 2010 midterm elections I was asked to appear on various TV and radio shows and was interviewed for assorted print publications because I write daily on politics and HillBuzz.org has carved its own particular niche in the world to drive the Left crazy in our own particular way.  One of my good friends is a local political writer who got a call asking for pundits to appear on an unidentified cable network on election night.  The network, unnamed in the media appearance request my friend received, wanted people in Chicago who could discuss the incoming election results live, with a Chicago perspective.  Which was strange because this was apparently an overseas network…that wanted a Chicago perspective…and planned to broadcast live from the South Side, near the Obama-Rezko Mansion in Hyde Park (which, not coincidentally, is just a block or so away from Louis Farrakhan’s mosque and mansion).

My friend thought it would be a fun opportunity for me, so she submitted my name and received an almost immediate response back from the now-identified network: no thanks…signed, Al Jazeera-English.

Apparently, the “Misunderstood CAIR Bears of Islam” pieces we run here at HillBuzz have gotten the attention of Al Jazeera, and the cartoon above, in particular, upsets them because the Western media at large is terrified of using ridicule and satire to mock Islam (which is not a religion, but a militarized ideological cult created by a deranged and opportunistic pedophile to subject the world to Arab domination by way of his violent manifesto calling for the conquest and enslavement of the globe…that’s Islam, not the mythical “religion of peace” the Left keeps talking about).

Another thing that gets attention is this, “Nope, No Pattern Here” list that’s been circulating via email for a year or so.  It lands in our in-box here at HB from time to time, but it rarely seems to be updated.

Can you help add missing instances of Islamic violence against the West (or other  non-Muslims) that can bring the list current to January 2011?

Because this upsets Al-Jazeera so much (enough to not want me on the air, afraid of what I’d say at least), I want to make it a dedicated page here at HB that will be updated whenever new acts of “peace” from “the religion of peace” are committed.  There can never be enough resources that speak the truth about Islam and put this material out there for Americans to see for themselves.

The new CAIR Bears page is here.

Update the “Nope, No Pattern Here” list for 2011 in comments below or send your update to HillBuzz@gmail.com.

Remember: Muslims can’t murder all of their critics.  The only way Islam wins is if you capitulate and surrender to it.  The best offense against Islam is to compile a running tally of how much “peace” this militarized ideological cult actually commits while masking as an actual religion.
