2011 Predictions

Posted on December 31, 2010 by Kevin DuJan // CAIR Bears, Cocktail Party GOP, Consistent Mistakes, Enabling the Left, General Stupidity, Hillbuzz, Lamestream Media, Political Figures - The Left, Tea Party, The American Reistance, The Left, Unions, Unveiling Islam, Weaknesses

Just for fun, chime in on this thread with anything you think will happen in 2011.

No holds-barred.

Nothing is too ridiculous to note.

Just go with your gut and say what you think is going to happen.

Here are a few predictions we expect to come true:

(1) Andrew Breitbart is going to bring down Obama with the Pigford Black Reparations expose he’s pushing.  Breitbart is a dog with a bone and will not stop.  Michele Bachmann, Steve King, and Darryl Issa are going to demand answers to why the USDA, under Obama’s orders, allowed tens of thousands of fraudulent payments of $50,000 a piece in “Obama money” to black Obama supporters in 2010 via Pigford.  Obama will most likely still be in office by the end of 2011, but Breitbart’s work is going to assure he’s the one term president we always knew he would be.

(2) Michelle Antoinette Obama is going to have her “let them eat cake moment”.  She’s come close already, but the more Pigford is in the news, the more criticism of the Obamas will be allowed in the media, and the more perturbed she will be that the days of her being lauded as “a global fashion icon” will be over.  She’ll snap at someone, in public, and it will be indelible.  It is only a matter of time.

(3) What Big Labor pulled in New York this last week with the ordered work slowage/stoppage during that massive blizzard will come back to haunt the unions nationwide in a big way.  A massive public backlash against public unions has been building, and this stunt in New York (which resulted in the deaths of two people) is a major crack in a dam that’s been straining to bursting for some time.  America just can’t afford the corruption and graft of unions, and this New York union might have finally awakened enough people for something to be done about it.

(4) The Cocktail Party GOP establishment will have a “let them eat cake moment” of their own, similar to Michelle Antoinette Obama.  This is something that has also been building:  a moment where the GOP establishment proves how out of touch it is, so that regular Americans can see the GOP establishment has been enabling everything the Left does, for their own personal gain.  We all know 2008 was the Republican Party’s last chance: either it becomes more conservative and does what the majority of Americans wants it to do, or it keeps the status quo and remains squishy and blackmailed/controlled by Democrats…in which case, it’s over and done with and some new entity will arise to replace it.  That’s actually very bad for the country, because a third party is the only way Obama wins a second term. Democrats will try to split the conservative vote in 2012 between a Republican candidate and a Tea Party candidate, in which case Obama is re-elected.  This has to be stopped at all costs…but the GOP establishment actually wants to lose the 2012 election because it seems to believe it can wait out the Tea Partiers and return to the status quo if they are demoralized by eight years of Obama in the White House (which would mean a Cocktail Party Republican in 2016, like a Tim Pawlenty or Mike Pence if the establishment succeeds in running Romney in 2012 like they want, because “it’s his turn”).

(5) Not a prediction, but a hope for 2011:  that Islam also gets a “let them eat cake moment”.  This is something that’s also been building, but I don’t think will mature yet.  The American public still allows the media to play its games with Muslims, calling them the “religion of peace” and treating them like misunderstood CAIR Bears.  Meanwhile, Muslims are the only people who claim to be religious and regularly mass murder innocents, set cars afire in Paris, and wage cultural war against their hosts wherever they immigrate.  For whatever reason, the PC hold that’s been on this country, and most of the West, since the 1970s allows Islam to get away with this because people are just too polite to smack Muslims back the way they deserve.  Americans are far too polite of a people in general.  But, they aren’t saints…and there will come a point where Islam has pushed the Left too far, and done something too terrible, to be ignored and the Left and media will realize they can no longer defend Islam and themselves survive.  Democrats, who strongly back Islam because Islam hates America and Democrats have long supported causes that hate America, will one day throw Islam aside if they feel the American public sees Democrats as “the party of Islam”.  Currently, Democrats have made themselves the anti-God/anti-America party, whereas Republicans are seen as the pro-God/pro-America party.  What happens when enough people see Democrats pushing Islam so that the paradigm changes and the public perceives a choice between a pro-Islam and a pro-Christian party…where Democrats are no longer net atheists but net Islamists?  We’re close to this now, and the Ground Zero Victory Mosque (which was politically helped by Mike Bloomberg and Democrats in New York) could just be the catalyst in 2011 that makes Democrats own Islam permanently.  At which point, I think Americans will turn against Democrats in droves…INCLUDING the far Leftists because they are all about ending religion, period, not replacing Christianity for Islam and accepting a new religion over them…when they want to be a cult of Man not God.  I hope this complete meltdown of the Democrat Party happens in 2011, but I don’t know if Islam will be stupid enough to go too far and force this intellectual confrontation with Americans that makes them lose their last remaining bit of patience.

What, off the top of your head this morning, do you think will happen in 2011?

It might be fun to revisit this thread one year from now, like a little time capsule, and see if any of our predictions were correct.

If you don’t have a prediction, but you have an idea you’d like other people to comment on (in the vein of “Do you think X or Y will happen?”), please add that to the thread below and perhaps others can give their take on those items too…which I think will end up being the most interesting part of this thread, really.

Ever the eternal optimist, I predict the further erosion of the left base and more movement to the right.

I predict, Obama will try to portray himself as Ronald Reagan while still passing through back channels his socialist agenda. The American people will revolt even more and no one is going to buy his fake move to the right.

The government, led by the unelected Moochelle Obama, will engage in a massive grab of individual rights, using food and other peoples' alleged obesity *snort* as a cover.

Restaurants, shops and supermarkets will be controlled, the government will step in on anything related to childrens' nutrition, no matter how tenously, and any failures will be taken as a sign that there needs to be MOAR govt interference.

Agree with Happy Camper. The left will continue to melt down.

    1. The GOP led House will disappoint conservatives.

    2. Tea Party wave continues to grow.

    3. NK and SK will again go to the brink of open war. A defecting Nork will help ease it back down.

    4. There will be more setbacks for Iran's Nuclear program. The Israeli's, God, love 'em, will be secretly involved.

    5. The Euro will collapse and with it the EU. The individual nations will return to their own currencies. Spain will precipitate the fall.

    6. The housing market will continue it's downward spiral. Inflation starts to take off with gas prices.

      ## 1 & 2, absolutely.

This leads to my prediction: a third party will emerge before 2012, as it becomes clear that the 2010 election counted for nothing.

This will not be a good thing for folks who love America and The Constitution. It will just lead to the continued tyranny by the left.

But the GOP leaders are negligently making a third party inevitable because they lack conviction or (more likely) the courage of their convictions.

Major chaos on the US/Mexican border. I know this is a trip to Crazy Town, but could it deteriorate to the point at which the two nations are no longer peaceful neighbors? And if it does get to that point, what about all the "undocumented Americans" from south of the border who are in the US now?!

On the positive side, conservativism will enter a Renaissance which will be impossible for the Left and the Middle squishies to ignore.

WRT Mexico, the US already hates them. All the Mexicans have on their side is that the US can't afford to let them fail and send tens of millions over the border. That's one reason why they bailed out the Mexican banks and tolerate a certain level of illegal immigration.

(Incidentally, that's also one reason why they're so keen on Spanish language education – it implies that at some point they can be turfed off into Mexico. They never wanted them as permanent residents or citizens.)

So, to answer your point, they're already not peaceful neighbours. The question is whether Mexico will fail or the US can extricate itself.

The reason the US won't deport all the illegals is the worry that the currupt Mexican elites will go the Sampson route and leave the US to clean up.

        I agree with you completely!
The democrats made Latino into a sub-race separate from what they actually are-caucasian. They did the same with Arabs who are also caucasian. They think they can take for granted making Latin Americans into a sub group of Americans who are dependent on government hand outs and therefore destine to vote forever democrap. They are mistaken. Many of these desendents of the Spainish Empire YES! EMPIRE, are hard working independent conservatives like Marco Rubio. They want to be part of the American dream not parasitical to it. Of course the left will do its best to bring in the least favorable type of immigrant to America, the kind that wants to be expoited as a perpetual victim. People will get tired of their claims to US as once being part of their land. Were not the Spainish Emperialists. Did the native Americans invite them into South America? Always the hypocrite and completely ignorant of history. Lefties don't even know what the three races are. They just invent what ever subrace they think they can exploit.
Its time to start educating these poor indoctrinated soles. Many of us were like them but the 2008 psydo-primary woke us up. Its time to wake up the sleeping democrats who would be with us if they only had been paying attention.

I think several states will enact legislation requiring candidates for President to submit long-form birth certs and passport records to be allowed on the ballot in that state.

Arizona already started this, some federal judge called it unconstitutional if memory serves. But We The People will finally have our say, and Barky will not run due to "wanting to spend more time with his family".

There's a very good reason they haven't done that. They know damn well it would turn the whole country against them. They knew that attacking symbols of America's military and financial dominance might unite the country for a while but in the end the Left would come around, since they also oppose America's military and financial dominance. As long as there are sports fans on the Left, though, you'll never see a stadium attacked, at least not by the heavy hitters (if you'll pardon the metaphor).

First of all, HAPPY NEW YEAR. It is now Jan 1, 2011 here in Australia.

Two situations to watch – the British govt is likely to fail. There will be a poll before the end of the year.

The second is going to be the failure of Julia-the-Marxist, Gillard. She is hanging on to a thread now. There will be a disruption in the ranks as her govt is racked with scandal.

Third, this could be the year that Øbama resigns for health reasons.

I am suspecting that Øbama has AIDS.

I agree. We need to examine all the campaigns that had third party candidates in the 2010 elections. This could very well be the model by which the *establishment* insure that a true conservative doesn't make it into the presidency.

The sooner we start to come up with a strategy to defeat this strategy the better prepared we will be in 2012. :-)

"Polls" will show Sarah Palin behind 2012 GOP candidates(even behind Newt Gingrich and Ron Paul). These "polls" will show her trailing in Iowa to Huckabee and the same "polls" will show her with only 30% of Republicans support. While she will be all over the news gathering crowds wherever she goes.

She will announce a POTUS exploratory candidacy in February making a political earthquake all over the world.

Most people will be looking to see Sarah in the first GOP candidates debates. No one will care about the others. Sarah makes lasting impressionin that debate.

Sarah will travel abroad between February and April(UK, Israel, Mexico or Honduras[look for Mayan hints!])

Pundits will still be saying she is "unelectable".

Huckabee will gather 300 folks at his rallies while Sarah gathers 1000 in Iowa in December 2011, but "polls" still show her trailing him by 3 points. Rassmussen will be the only pollster having Sarah winning Iowa by 5 points over Huckabee in December!

Gas prices will be up :( to $3.80 a gallon by September.

Unemployment hits 10.9% by November and 11.2% by December

Iran on its way to built nukes by August

There will be threats of a government shutdown over the House budget, as it will include spending cuts in “sacred programs” and defunding of Obamacare. Obama will try and do a “Clinton”, and make the Republicans look evil for forcing him to “shut down the government”. Tea Party activists, whose numbers have swelled due to the union tactic referenced in the main post, will insert a little backbone into the Republicans — and a savvy, new non-establishment GOP’er will become so well respected as to be taked about as a potential Presidential nominee.

I hate to ask people for help, but I have to. To anyone interested in this issue, please read the following update and request concerning WND:

[UPDATE 2: I have been told that I should provide my real name in order to get answers from Mr. Kovacs, at WND, about this issue.

I am very sorry, folks...but, I am sure no one will blame me for having to draw the line at providing my real name to anyone, especially someone in the press. People are mean and cruel about this issue, and frankly, I don't feel very comfortable with giving out my real name at this point. I do hope people appreciate the work I've done thus far -- but, I don't wish to provide my real name. And, I don't see why it matters if I do.

The photographs speak for themselves. The evidence speaks for itself. The questions are there regardless of my real life identity.

Therefore, I hope it does not appear hypocritical that I ask if there is a person willing to help. I have talked to many of you online that appear to openly use your real names...

...Is anyone willing to ask for answers from Mr. Kovacs under your own real name?

You can contact Mr. Kovacs via his article on the 'Kapio'lani Letter.'

And, I appreciate anyone in advance if they are willing and/or able to help. However, I do understand if a person would choose not to…MT]

The Black Panthers will add to the civil unrest in the streets and the Obama-Holder Injustice Deparment will use these uprisings as justification to restrict civil liberties, including freedom of assembly, and to grant Marshall-Law powers to Obama. The Republicans will be outmaneuvered and helpless and the Tea Party will be forced underground.

      I'm far more hopeful.

I think that people sometimes see me as aloof, a little out of touch with reality, but I really believe in the power of living in truths and being about a goodness in every word, thought and act that comes from us. Believe in God or not, I do believe that we are like magnets and we will attract into our lives and world that which we emanate.

Is it difficult to stand in the positive place when we see so much chaos? That is our great lesson in this life. We must be patient because there is an undercurrent that we cannot see, there are Divine hands on what is happening in our world. We must stand on the side of right, goodness and truth to assist that undercurrent. Operate always with a goodness and believe that such a goodness serves the undercurrent that we will ,in time, understand.

    Regarding Kevin's prediction #3:

NYC/SEIU union snow storm homicides =

Obama's Katrina and Haliburton ROLLED INTO ONE!

I think we know why Obama and dozens of unnamed "friends" stayed in Hawaii another week – in order to let the NYC Union crisis to die down.

Direct NYC SEIU tie to Obama! …Patrick Gaspard, Obama's friend and White House Political Director was former head/lobbyist of NYV SEIU (representing NYC sanitation workers (i.e., snow plow drivers))

and of course we all know that SEIU president Andy Stern was the most frequent visitor to the White House and has been named to every Obama WH/Cong Commission in the last 2 years!

are there dots to connect here?

I also remember Sharron Angle tried to contest voting machine irregularities in Nevada but had to give up because no support from RNC! Coincidence that SEIU union workers have contract to service Nevada voting machines (why do Repubs allow this?)

If the tea party republicans took the senate that would have been the end of PORK. Harry Reids victory insured that Pork barrel spending would continue. The Tea party is the only real change and is just getting started, They need to get involved in ever forum of American culture just as Soros has done. They need to take back America's children from the MArixist endoctrinators in the public schools and universities. They need to create their own television networks and entertainment and Movie industries. They need to take back American Popular culture to a time when Americans loved their country, families and God and when they had respect for their elders and for mothers of five who had the breath taking and rare courage to give a child with Down's syndrom a chance at life. That kind of virtue does not exist on the left. They are a drug sick bunch of spoiled adolesant rebels without a clue. Give them socialism and next they will demand communism. 2011 has to be a rebirth for American conservatism, if not we will lose America completely.

I am a huge of political fan of Palin and Bachmann.

With that being, I think you are overlooking Mike Pence's Conservative in Congress. He Conservative ratings are among the highest and works with DeMint — especially when they tried blocked to Obama's Lame Duck push.

He NOT A ESTABLISHMENT COCKTAIL REPUBLICAN — he is a Conservative and true to his convictions. He was a thorn in Pelosi's side.

There have many trips I have made to DC over the past two years — and many of first trips, the politicians that spoke to the crowd were only DeMint and Pence. Bachmann joined in right after the beginning but I will never forget DeMint's and Pences' appearances at early Conservative/TEA Party events-rallies — I gave us a lot of encouragement at the beginning.

Just because I admire Pence, does mean I don't back Palin. But I think you have the wrong research on Pence.

        Respectfully, Hoosier Lady and

them the same type of politician.
Some here had no knowledge of

        RINO McCain, and a terrific
        conservative, honorable guy,
        went into great detail correcting
        that misconception, provided
plenty of speeches and info for others to get to know who Pence
        is. One commenter said if

Palin would not run and support
        him.

In the process of supporting Palin, it's wrong to mischaracterize someone else who has the values we need (in whatever capacity he serves whether its Pres. candidate, Gov of Indiana, or Rep.). Whatever happens, we must have the truth on our side.

We don't know Pence or Daniels for that matter- neither does anyone else except those from Indiana – that is the point so please don't take it personally

in the era of social media this is not a winning strategy to become pres.

Instead you gave to be moving the debate constantly!

Only Sarah does this (almost daily) via social media AND old media – an outsider nonetheless (not seen since Reagan)

IF Sarah farts (excuse me) Obama blinks and responds on the defensive and reacts – WOW!!!

        by Facebook no less!

bottom line assessment for the New Millenium:

If Pence/Daniels can't move the debate after decades on the inside they should not presume to be presid. material…

instead as second tier players in this new era – they should be supporting those who can/are moving the conversation and should be galvanizing their resources around Sarah.

Go Sarah/West 2012 – please ask Pence/Daniels to support now

A symbolic filibuster is not the litmus test of being a true conservative. He has an excellent conservative record that has been detailed by many readers on the other article about Pence vs McCain. I don't think any of us objecting to the descriptions of Pence are trying to engage in a Pence/Palin debate. I support Palin just as much as Pence and defend her regularly. We see an untruth and are trying to correct it. This is about truth of a candidate and the credibility of this site. If I know Pence's record is misrepresented here, what else can I believe?

We are happy to hear you passionately describe his service to Indiana but he is not a first tier player now at the national level – that is the point/nuance.

unfortunately Indiana is not the center of the world now – it is now Alaska – we all need to get with the program as if we want to win we need follow the New Millenium playbook- which features only Sarah who is conquering every type of media – new and old

thank you that's the point – you are a dc insider and we are not – you meet and hang with these people daily as your profession- to us if they all look alike (as Kevin was only pointing out) they cannot win today- it is a Palin site after all

the constant advocacy for Pence, Boehner and the other go along to get along crowd is pointless – this is for Palin's base – not to undermine and mock her base

by the way we will now add DC Tool to our new name – but your candidate is still second tier – may be relevant in your world inside Congress – but he is not presidential material- truth hurts – anyone the LSM loves and is not going on a daily basis – we question – if Palin sneezes they go after her – if you are not the butt of jokes in even obscure sitcoms/reality shows and re not being stalked – like Sarah is- you are irrelevant – welcome to mainstream America – not the DC insider bubble-echo chamber

In the echo chamber it is Pawlenty/Pence/Daniels/Huckabee/Mittens/McConnell

In real America it is Sarah and West – who else can get a 40,000 person flash crowd at The Villages by word of mouth in no time at all…by the way at The Villages – the new gauge – it is only Sarah and West in 2012 being discussed!
