Tuesday Edition of the Redstate 2012 poll
Here’s the latest Redstate 2012 poll.
They seem to have only dropped off Jeb Bush from yesterday.
Herman Cain is still asking his radio listeners to vote for him, so he’s second place in the poll, just behind Governor Palin.
What’s really interesting is that the Romney Guys have not mobilized to support him in this…he’s at an anemic 8%.
For the guy that’s the clear Cocktail Party establishment favorite, I just don’t understand where his ground team is. Yes, it’s just a Redstate poll, but it’s the same sort of thing that happened when Mittens Romney’s childhood home was torn down in Michigan. All I heard was the sound of crickets chirping in the Romney ranks. There is absolutely no love for this man, anywhere. No outrage his boyhood was being demolished. No zeal to vote for him in whatever poll pops up. There is no passion whatsoever for a Romney candidacy.
Like I keep saying, the only people who want Romney 2012 to happen are people who expect Romney 2012 jobs and paychecks.
That’s the entirety of the Cocktail Party GOP establishment…but they really don’t want to work hard for anything, and would never deign to do anything as plebian as voting in an online poll. Or, when it comes to it, doing any door to door campaigning, phone banking, or all the other things a winning presidential campaign needs to do.
The Day of Reckoning for State Budgets Has Arrived — How Does This Impact YOUR State?
Here’s a link over at RealClearPolitics to an interview with Governor Chris Christie of New Jersey, talking about just how bad things are in the Garden State, financially.
Just about every “Blue State”, controlled by Democrats for so many years, is broke, with massive public employee pensions (many of which are lavish and the equivalent of a Michelle Antoinette Obama vacation abroad) coming due…that the states have no idea how they are going to fund.
The answer in “Blue States” seems to be that “Red States” need to bail them out…like the grasshoppers in the fable who partied away all of their food and had nothing left when winter came, so they decided to “redistribute” the hard-earnings of the little red ants who didn’t get themselves into this trouble.
When Democrats control a city, that city goes bankrupt and its urban center craters because of the entitlement programs Democrats train minorities to become slavishly dependent upon.
When Democrats control an entire state, they tax businesses so heavily to pay for the urban center entitlements that companies shutter and move to friendlier states, and Democrats just raise taxes more to compensate for those losses. Ultimately, taxes are so high businesses are afraid to hire and the only jobs available are in the public sector…where Democrat machine bosses use the workers dependent on this public money to keep themselves in office indefinitely, to keep perpetuating this cycle.
Here in Illinois, we can all easily see this state crumbling around us.
And that’s because it’s been in Democrat hands for so long, with the graft and corruption of both Chicago and Springfield laying waste to small businesses and taxing hard-workers into oblivion to pay off all the Democrat constituencies with entitlement programs.
What’s the outlook for your state?
Absent some miracle, everything’s looking like it hits the fan in 2011, when the house of cards Democrats have built for generations comes tumbling down.
Here in Illinois. In California. New York. Michigan. New Jersey. Ohio.
Everywhere that Democrats have had a strong presence and control of the majority of elected offices.
That can’t be a coincidence.
But, do people on the ground where you live make the connection?

Support Governor Palin in Redstate’s 2012 poll: as of 230am on 12/21/10, the Governor is winning the poll with 27%. Her closest opponent is Herman Cain, who has been using his radio show and Twitter account to promote the poll and ask his supporters directly to vote for him…something no other person listed in this poll is doing.
It’s amazing that Mittens Romney is at just 8% in this poll, considering how many “Romney Guys” are commenters over at Redstate and how pro-Mittens Redstate has always been. Tim Pawlenty, another perennial Redstate Cocktail Party favorite, is at just 3% in the poll. The rest of the GOP dwarves are fairing about as well.
It looks like Redstate will run this poll every day until it’s down to just two names…since every day the two lowest men in the poll are eliminated. Today, that should be Jeb Bush and Rick Perry (or Tim Pawlenty, too, if the lowest three are axed).
Sometime this afternoon, a new poll will be setup that does not include the two eliminated men…so look for that later in the day once the poll linked here has been closed, around noon EST I think.
Go, Sarah, Go!
More proof how “peaceful” the misunderstood CAIR Bears of Islam are: Muslims threaten to kill Harry Potter actress for speaking to a Hindu man
Afshan Asad played a small part in four of the Harry Potter movies.
Her Muslim father and brother saw her talking to a Hindu man in London, where they all live.
So, rational, peaceful Muslims that they are…they naturally threatened to kill Afshan, the brother beat her, and the young woman had to flee through her bedroom window and is now in hiding.
Because Islam is so damn peaceful and Muslims are taught peaceful ways to handle family disagreements.
The sad and twisted thing is that this was probably only reported because Afshan is a Harry Potter actress.
Young Muslim women are probably beaten and murdered by their own family members every day — for something like “talking to a man”, “thinking about talking to a man”, or “dreaming at night of talking to a man” — but it never makes news because the misunderstood CAIR Bears of Islam are ALWAYS up to something like this.
AND, the Leftist media refuses to really report on it because there’s a consistent embargo on anything that makes Islam look bad…which is, essentially, anything that tells the truth about Islam.
The truth is out there, though, for anyone who wants to see it.
Presbyterians do not do this to their daughters.
Catholics do not do this to their daughters.
Buddhists do not do this to their daughters.
Jews do not do this to their daughters.
Only Muslims.
Always Muslims.
There’s a real and obvious pattern here.
Redstate 2012 poll continues…it seems this will be a daily, round-by-round thing
Redstate is running a new series of polls for 2012.
This time, they are putting all the potential candidates up head-to-head…and it’s now ten men against Governor Sarah Palin.
As of 645pm CST on 12/20/10, Governor Palin is tied with Herman Cain with 25% support each…which is double any other contender.
Please head over to Redstate and vote for Governor Palin.
I think they are going to run this poll every single day, but will eliminate the two lowest vote-getters very day and start the poll anew some time in the afternoon.
So, no, this is not the same poll you voted in yesterday. THAT poll had 12 men against Governor Palin, but John Thune and someone else lackluster were dropped from the list, leaving just ten dwarves against the Governor.
Surprisingly, the support those two men had seems to have gone to Cain.
It looks like Jeb Bush and Rick Perry will most likely be eliminated tomorrow…and the poll will go on like this through Christmas until it’s just the final two.
It’s not a binding poll, of course, but it would be fun to see the Governor win it.

UPDATE: Herman Cain has a radio show, and has been asking his listeners to vote for him in this Redstate poll. He’s also been using his Tweeter to ask people to vote for him. Hence, the extremely strong showing by Herman Cain…a man who has never held elected office.
He is an interesting and engaging man, and has been a successful business man and activist, but he has never held an elected office.
BREAKING: Charlie Brown has turned Muslim
Islam is not a religion.
It is a violent, militaristic ideological and political cult bent on global domination.
If it was truly “a religion of peace”, then Islamic leaders would take advantage of every pilgrimage season to Mecca and broadcast, nonstop, over microphones that Muslims should stop murdering innocent people in the name of Allah. The reason they don’t do this is because murdering innocents is at the very core of Islam, and is clearly spelled out in the Koran…which is not a religious text on par with the Bible and Torah the way the Left wants you to believe, but instead is more along the lines of the Unabomber’s manifesto. It is the deranged ravings of a warmongering pedophile who placed clear instructions in his writings that anything violent supersedes anything poetic he wrote earlier in the text.
Political correctness is no excuse for trying to delude yourself into believing sharks are the same as dolphins, no matter how fuzzy the Left wants to make the lines between them. The same is true for their half-baked, suicidal efforts to give Islam parity with Christianity and declare war on Christmas so it can be replaced by Islamic holidays instead.
One day Americans will wake up to what the Left has deliberately been doing to promote and apologize for Islam…and when that day comes, the Left is going to get a comeuppance the likes of which it has never dreamed of.
Here’s hoping 2011 brings us that day, at last.
Jib-Jab’s 2010 Year in Review Song
Jib-Jab is a fun video production company that is known for making little Year-in-Review videos…which have always treated Obama as a god-with-a-small-g before.
The 2008 and 2009 Years-in-Review goofed on Obama regarding the unicorns, rainbows, and hopeychangey cult he conjured to aggrandize himself back in the 2008 campaign, but Jib Jab is a Leftist-run company and so they refrained from really criticizing Obama.
Not this year.
They make him look like an incompetent and inept buffoon in this video, forgoing the animation they usually do and instead using puppets of him, Joe Biden, Rahm Emanuel, and a blink-and-you’ll-miss-her Michelle Antoinette Obama (going off on her lavish million dollar vacation to Spain wearing as many jewels as they could fit on one puppet).
I honestly never expected these people to tell the truth about Obama, but if they want to stay in business beyond his one term, they do sort of need to make their Year-in-Review truly representative of the actual year, and not a Leftist fantasy of how they instead want to present it.

The Social Contract’s Fall 2010 Issue: The Menace of Islam
Well, I’m sure this is guaranteed to win me all sorts of new friends at Al Jazeera, but an essay of mine is featured in the new issue of The Social Contract for Fall of 2010. “The Menace of Islam” is now available for order on The Social Contract’s site.
You can read the whole issue online, however, here.
My essay is called “HillBuzz: Doing the Job the Mainstream Media Won’t Do”, and is a reprint of a piece I did a few months ago hitting the media for coddling Muslims as misunderstood CAIR Bears.
It’s exciting to be in the same list of authors as Ann Coulter, Pamela Geller, Stella Paul, and the others whose work appears in this issue of The Social Contract.
Vote in Redstate poll for Governor Palin’s 2012 presidential bid (AKA, Governor Palin and the Twelve Dwarves)
I think Redstate closes their polls at around 12 noon EST, so if you read this in the morning before then, and you have not voted in the poll yet, please do so.
It’s important for a lot of reasons — but chiefly I think that Erik Erikson over at Redstate has had a real change of heart in regards to 2012 and I’d like to see that encouraged. About a month ago, Erikson started openly coming out in favor of Governor Palin, where in the past Redstate was very much Mittens Romney territory, with everyone blindly munching on soggy cucumbers-and-mayonnaise sandwiches, deluding themselves that Romneycare would not spell doom for the GOP should Mittens be the 2012 nominee.
Munch, munch, munch…”it’s his turn!” and “he’s wanted to be president since the 70s!” ruling the day.
I don’t know what happened to Erikson, but maybe he met Governor Palin and saw face to face what I’ve seen the times I’ve been in the same room with the Governor: she is the once-in-a-lifetime, real deal…and she will wipe the floor with Obama in 2012. You betcha.
Do not for an instant underestimate the Romney Guys’ obsession with power, however. There are people who have spent the last ten years angling for Mittens Romney to be the 2012 nominee, just so they could land high paying, resume-building jobs on the campaign. Governor Palin is a direct and present threat to the Cocktail Party GOP’s “business as usual” routine.
I know this Redstate poll is just a poll on a website, but if the Romney Guys lose control of places like Redstate, Ace of Spades, and other conservative sites…it makes it that much harder for them to carry out their Romney 2012 plans because they were counting on lockstep support from the usual suspects to install this “it’s his turn!” candidate for the next presidential race.
So, vote for the Governor…and drive Mittens a little more crazy today.
