Posted at December 10, 2010 by Kevin DuJan // Hillbuzz

http://www.nbcchicago.com/blogs/ward-room/Status-Hearing-for-Rahms-Residency-Battle-111661684.html

If someone figures out where this hearing is and at what time, I will go to it and try to live blog it.

If they won’t allow that, I will transcript it.

Can someone get the time and location?

One of the coolest things that has happened in my life

Posted at December 10, 2010 by Kevin DuJan // Hillbuzz

Tonight I had a meeting with two very politically connected conservatives, a husband and wife team, to talk about some important things breaking here in Chicago.

While we were talking, I mentioned something my boyfriend Justin said yesterday, and the husband, Scott, of the pair asked about Justin so I told them a little about him…and then I remembered I had some pictures of him snapped on my phone. I mentioned that, and Scott and his wife got genuinely excited and wanted to see him.

So, I showed this conservative Republican couple snaps of my gay conservative Republican boyfriend.

They scooted in close to me to see the screen, and this serious, political strategy session became this very personal, warm, special moment.

It is the complete opposite of what the Left says about conservatism.

Instead, if I was at a gay event, and I mentioned my boyfriend or I am consetvative I would have been hit with pronounced and jagged nastiness from “The Tolerant Left”.

It was a quiet, amazing, very special moment I will never forget.

It was real. Unfaked. And the true spirit of who these people are, showing me the same respect and interest they would give me if I was straight and mentioned a girlfriend.

They invited me and Justin to their house for dinner next week to continue planning the smackdown we are engineering for the Cocktail Party here in Chicago.

I have never, in all my life, been treated this well by the Left.

Never.

Can’t wait to introduce them both to Justin.

Obama abdicates: makes Bill Clinton President again for the day

Posted at December 10, 2010 by Kevin DuJan // Hillbuzz

http://finance.yahoo.com/news/At-Obamas-side-Clinton-backs-apf-4065249916.html?x=0&.v=1

Claiming no one listens to him and that he has no idea what he is doing, Obama admitted his complete failure and left a press conference today, in tears, telling Big Dawg Bill Clinton “You fix it!”.

Seriously.

Bill Clinton pulled an unconstitutional Alexander Haig and was president for a while today, while our historic and unprecedented first black president went off and did who knows what who knows where.

Seriously.

This really happened.

It is not a joke.

SERIOUSLY.

BREAKING: New scandal to rock Chicago Young Republicans? Is the Cocktail Party GOP in Chicago using Democrats' Alinsky Methods to take down resistance to Romney 2012?

Posted at December 10, 2010 by Kevin DuJan // Hillbuzz

More on this later, but there’s another major scandal brewing for the Chicago Young Republicans social club here in Chicago.

It seems the group is desperately trying to secure funding sources from Romney 2012 groups, as other revenue streams have dried up for them in the wake of the summer sex scandal involving its former president and the coverup that Lee Roupas (Cook County GOP Chair) and Pat Brady (Illinois GOP Chair) engaged in to shield the CYRs and said president from discipline and scrutiny.

One very wealthy cougar, Beth Christie, used her Elizabeth K. Christie Foundation to fund all sorts of questionable activities for the group (with even more questionable, Stifler’s Mom-esque, motives of her own), but before the November election former Illinois GOP Chair Andy McKenna apparently had a sit-down with Christie and told her to knock it off because she was embarrassing herself and the party on a national scale.  So, she’s no longer directly funding the CYRs.

That means they are looking for new sources of revenue…and since they are mainly Romney 2012 Guys anyway, they are turning to Mittens.

More on this later, but last night the CYRs took a cheap and dirty Alinsky-grade swipe at a prominent Republican voice of criticism against the Cocktail Party status quo here in Chicago.

There’s a civil war waging in Chicago GOP circles…between the “It’s His Turn” Cocktail Party Romney Guys and conservatives who want to take back their party and clean house, removing people like Roupas, Brady, and the Beth Christie-funded CYR operatives who are employing Democrats’ Alinsky Methods on Mitt Romney’s behalf.

What they did last night was bad — beyond the pale bad — and it certainly won’t be ignored by us, that’s for damn sure.

BREAKING: You too can be a farmer — and if you are black get $50,000 — with the new PIGFORD PET!

Posted at December 10, 2010 by Kevin DuJan // Hillbuzz

You too can be a farmer -- and if you are black get $50,000 -- by growing a Pigford Pet!

H/t Dave and Linda for the idea of using Chia Pets to ridicule the Pigford Black Reparations payout…since many of the black people who were given $50,000 in reparations under Pigford and the Obama-led Pigford II reparations settlements used their house plants as proof that they were “farmers” or “farmers in waiting”.

So, why not just issue these Chia Pet kits to Obama voters, have them grow them, and then bring them down to the USDA as proof of their “farming” abilities to collect their $50,000 in Obama Money?

This Chia Pet lampoon of Pigford has real teeth.

It is exactly what is needed to get the public riled up about this.

Can you improve upon this meme in any way?

Thoughts needed below.

Governor Palin within margin of error of Mittens Romney in new Michigan primary poll

Posted at December 10, 2010 by Kevin DuJan // Hillbuzz

As things stand right now, Mittens Romney and his supporters control the Cocktail Party GOP establishment in places like Chicago.

All of the 20-30 something young Republicans are “Romney Guys”, and they have positioned themselves to land high paying jobs on a Romney 2012 campaign.

I know these people, here in Chicago at least.  Some of them are just scraping by doing odd consulting jobs so that they are available the second Romney starts writing checks for expanded staff.  They have bet everything on Romney…and in this economy they have no other prospects, honestly, besides a Romney 2012 campaign gig.

THAT is why these Cocktail Party establishment Republicans are pushing Romney so hard for 2012.  NOT because they think hey will beat Obama, because they don’t think that and don’t even pretend to believe that when asked about it.

These people just want CAMPAIGN JOBS, and they know enough people in Romney circles to be guaranteed cushy, paid, resume-padding positions if Romney is the 2012 nominee.

All of these “Romney Guys” detest Governor Palin and by all accounts the people surrounding the Governor feel mutual about the “Romney Guys” and Cocktail Party establishment of all types…so everyone involved knows that if Governor Palin is the 2012 nominee that everyone expecting a job from Romney will be out of luck and unemployed in 2012, because the Governor is not going to select Romney as her running mate either.

Mittens Romney would be another Bob Dole and John McCain…a Cocktail Party establishment “It’s His Turn!” candidate whose sole reason for nomination is that he has a network of supporters who are counting on getting jobs with his presidential campaign, and have positioned themselves at the city, county, and state levels across the country so that they can attempt to steer the nomination to him…and thus win themselves easy, high-paying jobs.

A recent poll of Michigan for the GOP primary now shows Governor Palin within the margin of error in what is one of Mittens Romney’s many, myriad “home states”(like Utah, Massachusetts, and perhaps even those seven mystery states Obama talks about every now and then).

Shouldn’t Romney be clobbering other contenders for the 2012 nomination in one of his “home states”…especially the one his father was Governor of and that he, mostly, grew up in?

This is similar to what I talked about a while ago, when Mittens Romney’s childhood home was torn down in Michigan.  There was no effort whatsoever to preserve it.  None.  Absolutely no Romney supporters organized so much as a lemonade stand to preserve the childhood home of Mittens Romney.

Can you imagine if Governor Palin’s childhood home was about to be torn down?  Palin supporters would pool together, buy the place, and turn it into a historic site.  I sure as heck would be on that in a Wasilla minute.

I’d do the same if Hillary Clinton’s childhood home was set for demolition here in Park Ridge, and I know many Hillary supporters who would join in to make sure nothing happened to that house.

There is just no passion for Mittens Romney.

The only people who want him to be the nominee are the people who will stand to get something financial from Romney if he is the nominee.  People don’t stand in front of wrecking balls for Mittens Romney.  People don’t drop whatever they are doing and come running if Mittens Romney — or his childhood home — are in trouble.  People do not love Mittens Romney.

And they never, ever will.

He seems like a nice enough man. I think he will make an excellent Treasury Secretary.  His face will  never be on US currency but if he plays his cards right and stands behind Governor Palin, maybe his signature will be on our money once he’s installed in his Cabinet position and takes over for Tim Geithner to clean up the mess the Obama Administration has left us in.

Mittens Romney is, I believe, destined to be Treasury Secretary.  That’s where his focus should be.

Not on getting jobs for his supporters as the new “It’s His Turn!” losing candidate.

QUESTION: What are areas we all need to become expert in before 2012?

Posted at December 10, 2010 by Kevin DuJan // Hillbuzz

Please chime in on this thread by scrying into the future to look at what areas we should all become expert in before 2012 hits.

Remember:  we will never have 2011 back again, so we need to make the most of it.  When January hits, we need to hit the ground running and train hard for the 2012 election…which will be the most important one of our lifetimes.

2012 will be a crossroads race:  either Obama is defeated and America is saved, or Obama squeaks out a second term and commits America to the failed socialism of Europe…or worse.

We can all count on the state media ginning up as much propaganda and feel-good hooha for Obama as it did in 2008.  Though “Hope!” and “Change!” won’t work a second time, David Axelrod does nothing better than branding and marketing and I know he will come up with some razzle dazzle to repackage Obama to the American public.  Just like in 2008, the media will have zero interest in telling the truth about the “historic and unprecedented first black president”.  Because the media will not allow this particular black man to fail — and being a one-term president is a major failure — I believe the media will commit themselves 100% to Obama’s re-election, making their efforts in 2008 pale in comparison to the depths they will sink in 2012.

So, knowing all of this, we need to set our course for 2011 and approach the 2012 race the way a bodybuilder approaches a competition.  Here in Boystown, I have several friends who are heavy into lifting and competing, and they work backwards from their contest date to plan out what they need to do and when.  About a year from the big day, they sit down and think about the areas they need to strengthen and work on the most.  To condition their bodies to the height they need to win their contests, they know they have to use their brains to strategically build their lives around bodybuilding and workouts.

I am fully committed to doing everything I can to defeat Obama and the Left in 2012.  I think America is in grave danger and see this as my watch, the time I need to stand up and do something for my country.  That something involves writing this site and giving it a purpose in 2011 that can make a difference in 2012.

I believe that purpose involves figuring out what areas of argument will be most persuasive with the voting public in defeating Obama at the ballot box, no matter what the media does in its attempt to drive Obama towards a win.

So far, these are some of the areas I personally plan on becoming expert in by 2012 so that I can be an effective surrogate speaker in the next presidential race…shouting on top a soapbox on street corners if I have to:

(1) Voter Fraud Democrats commit in every election

(2) The Pigford Black Reparations Scam and Obama’s involvement in it

(3) The Ethanol Scam and the Cult of Green wealth distribution scheme

(4) George Soros’ super villain role in US politics

(5) Obamacare’s ruinous impact on the American economy

Becoming an expert on any one of these things is like working on a graduate professional degree…let alone mastering arguments in all of them.  And these five are just the tip of the iceberg.

But, I figure if I push this, and keep poking at these issues, and get people talking and thinking about them…that maybe together all of us out there in the American Resistance can turn the tables on the media and get the public talking about the Obama — the real Obama — that the state media refuses to show…by exposing his policies and agenda for what they truly are.

2012 will be won or lost by people like you…not the Titans of politics or the grand PooBahs of the parties.  Just average, normal, regular people who use 2011 wisely and train themselves for the fight of their lives in 2012.

Please make this your 2011 New Year’s Resolution: to not waste a single day in 2011 because I guarantee  you will wish you had every single day back once 2012 heats up.

I just can’t live with myself if I don’t do all I can with the time we’re afforded to prep as well as I can to go head to head with the Left in November 2012.

So, in that spirit, chime in below and give me your input on the five areas I have highlighted…and tell me about the ones I’ve missed that you are planning on becoming expert in yourselves.

SICK: Democrat hate-group Westboro Baptist to picket Elizabeth Edwards' funeral

Posted at December 10, 2010 by Kevin DuJan // Hillbuzz

Elizabeth Edwards was not a hero, a martyr, or a good person.

But, she was a mother who died from cancer and anyone — especially a mother with small children — who suffers an end like this deserves respect at her own funeral.

Elizabeth Edwards was an opportunist who knew about her husband’s affair with Rielle “Lisa Druck” Hunter in 2007, before the presidential nominating contest began in 2008, and still encouraged him to run for president because she believed she’d be made Secretary of Health and Human Services if Edwards took enough delegates from Hillary Clinton in Iowa to throw the race to Obama and supplant the Clintons in the DNC.  Edwards knew her husband was fatally wounded politically, that his affair and love child would come to light, and that she’d never be First Spouse — but she wanted to roll the dice, one last time, and see how much swag the Edwardses could both score by playing spoiler for Obama in a race the DNC wanted stacked against the Clintons.

So, Elizabeth Edwards, more so than even HRH Princess Caroline of Kennedy, is one of the women who really helped Obama become president…and do everything he has now done to this country.

So, I can honestly not think of a nice thing to say about her except that she was a mother who seemed to love her children very much.

That fact alone, however, is enough to prompt me to yet again call out the despicable Democrat hate-group known as “The Westboro Baptist Church” for planning on disrupting Elizabeth Edwards’ funeral...the way they come to the funerals of gay men and shout vulgarity about AIDS being a punishment from God or how they taunt the mothers and widows of military men at their funerals.

My boyfriend Justin — a unicorn here in Boystown because he’s a conservative gay Republican who might even be to the right of me, if that’s possible — and I had a long discussion about the existence of evil in the world and whether or not God and “goodness” were real.

I honestly never need to look any further than the Democrat hate-group “Westboro Baptist” to prove the existence of evil.

This is a group of Democrats…proving how tolerant the Left really is…employing Alinsky Tactics to randomly attack all sorts of people, from gays to soldiers to Elizabeth Edwards.  Their hatred and obsession with disturbing the rest of the dead is just unfathomable to me.

Almost everything the Left does defies logic, but Westboro is the hate that drives the Left distilled to its purest form.

I will forever remind the world of the bad things Elizabeth Edwards did in 2007-2008 that were instrumental in electing Obama to the presidency, just as I will forever note that Ted Kennedy murdered Mary Jo Kopechne with his car in 1969…and how I will never type the words “Westboro Baptist” without noting that its leader, the Charles Manson-esque hatemonger Fred Phelps is a DEMOCRAT.

Because the media loves to conveniently forget facts like this when making Elizabeth Edwards and Ted Kennedy into saints and deceptively trying to imply the Democrat hate-group known as “Westboro Baptist” is really a Republican outfit.

Which it is not.

These are Democrats, led by Democrat Fred Phelps, and they are the true and living embodiment of real evil in America today.

Elizabeth Edwards should be remembered as the conniving, opportunistic, foolish woman that she was…but she should also be respected as the mother of young children who has now died of cancer.

Not even Fred Phelps deserves cancer.  It is too horrible a blight to wish on anyone.

Though I will be honest and say it is painfully tempting to hope karma comes back to haunt every Democrat in Westboro Baptist who partakes in this shameful display at a cancer victim’s funeral.

**********************************

UPDATE: I honestly have no idea why Democrat Fred Phelps and the Democrat hate-group Westboro Baptist are picketing Elizabeth Edwards’ funeral.

If someone out there can find a reason they are doing this, please chime in below with a link to that explanation.

My instinct is that they are just doing this for attention since it is a high-profile funeral, but one that will not be run by the government…so unlike Ted Kennedy’s funeral or Robert C. Byrd’s funeral, there will not be layers of law enforcement maintaining order for the TV cameras.

It looks like Westboro sees an opportunity to create a ruckus since they expect the Edwards family will not have enough private security hired to keep them at bay, and Leftist court rulings have allowed Westboro to pretty much do as they please to emotionally terrorize grieving families whenever Westboro heads to a funeral to “protest”.

Elizabeth Edwards was not a gay rights activist, as someone in comments below asked about, so this is not a reason to picket her funeral.  There’s nothing else Edwards did in her life that makes her an obvious target for Westboro, that I can see anyway.

Thoughts?

More truth about ethanol insanity…will capitulating to Iowa forever consign us to wasting billions on this nonsense?

Posted at December 10, 2010 by Kevin DuJan // Hillbuzz

Here’s a great article over at “The Oil Drum” that deals with the insanity of ethanol.

The short take on this is that ethanol is a giant scam…which is largely designed to make Agribusiness and people in Iowa happy.  Since Iowa is the first presidential nominating contest every four years, politicians of both parties like to keep Iowa happy. After having campaigned in Iowa for eight weeks straight back in 2007-2008 for Hillary Clinton, and having gone door to door in many cities and towns from Dubuque through Davenport and all the way to Des Moines, I have a very poor opinion of Iowa and Iowans because of the shameless way those I encountered reveled in the attention heaped upon them in the presidential race.

It was sickening.

Almost every house we went to had someone who opened the door and seemed to expect every candidate running for office to appear before them, just waiting to come inside and help them with their chores while they sat on their couches with their hands gently stroking their chins, just deciding and deciding who to vote for.

“Maybe if you get me some more of that ice tea I like, the good tea, then maybe I would consider thinking about voting for you”.

“Oh, I don’t know who I am going to vote for, but maybe a foot rub would get my thinking juices flowing”.

“Mercy, mercy, me.  I just can’t decide who to support, but my kitchen sure is messy and it’s not going to clean itself, now is it?”.

“Keep sending us all those ethanol subsidies or just watch the Hell of a tantrum this whole welfare queen state will throw come the presidential election”.

I think it’s hilarious for anyone in Iowa to ever criticize the welfare scam artists in the inner cities…when they should be looking in the mirror at their own behavior.

Starting with the ethanol scam that Iowans seemingly thrive off of and refuse to abandon.

Despite all the evidence that ethanol is junk science at best and wishful thinking at its most fanciful if you get down to brass tacks about it.

As long as Iowa has such a disproportionately high say in the presidential races every four years, I don’t expect this to change because Democrats love wasting money on just about anything and the Cocktail Party GOP blue blood establishment is too addicted to power to ever do the right thing and tell Iowa to just stuff it — fearing a tantrum from these ethanol welfare queens in the next presidential race if they do.

“This isn’t the year to take on Iowa, because 2012 is just around the corner”.

“Well, we can’t take on Iowa now that it’s 2013, because it’s just 3 years to 2016!”.

“Though the country is now dead  broke and Americans are pouring over the border to Mexico for a better life, we can’t end the ethanol welfare to Iowa because it’s 2025 and we only have 3 years until Iowa plays its pivotal role in the 2028 nominating contest!”.

When, and how, will this Iowa ethanol welfare end?

QUESTION: Do you remember how Watergate was explained to the American people in a way they could easily understand it?

Posted at December 10, 2010 by Kevin DuJan // Hillbuzz

We need to hear from those of you out there who either lived through Watergate or studied it to a degree in school where you became experts in one particular aspect of it — how Watergate was explained to the American people in such a way that they were able to understand its complexities…and saw clearly that President Nixon needed to be removed from office for his crimes against the Constitution.

The Pigford Black Reparations Scam, signed into law on Wednesday, is Obama’s Watergate.

The catch this time is that the state media will not do anything to educate the American public on what Pigford is all about — or what Obama did to engineer Black Reparations payments in the billions that are looting the US Treasury.

The media will protect Obama to the very end…unlike the media’s zeal for bringing Nixon down in the 70s.

In this, The Golden Age of Hope and Change, the media will try its level best to first ignore and then later mitigate Pigford, once the grassroots clamor for Pigford information gets rolling.

Today, I need insight from those of you who were alive during Watergate and can remember your thought process during it all.  Specifically, can you (or those of you who studied Watergate extensively), answer the following?

* When did you first start hearing about Watergate….and where?  In the paper?  On the radio?  From friends?  When did you first know something was wrong in Washington?

* At first, did you think the break-in at the DNC headquarters was a big deal or not?

* When and how did you connect the goings-on there to the White House itself?

* Do you remember any visuals the media used to paint a clear picture on what was happening with Watergate?

* What helped you make all the connections between what went on at DNC headquarters, Nixon’s tape recording machines, the “plumbers”, and the missing minutes in those Nixon tapes?

* At what point did you realize that Nixon would be removed from office?

I firmly believe that Obama will serve out the remainder of his one and only term in office…because Pigford will not really get rolling, in a major way, until sometime in 2011…probably the summer or fall.

It’s going to cripple Obama’s re-election campaign, but he will not resign or be removed from office before the 2012 election.

Pigford won’t go away, and in 2012 it will still be an unending nightmare for Democrats.

Just as Watergate was for Republicans for many, many years.

It’s all starting up now…and we have a front row seat for it…so I’m curious to hear what those of you who remember watching the beginning of Watergate have to say now that in 2010 we’re seeing a massive scandal forming for Democrats that could very well eclipse Nixon’s crimes in the 70s.
