In case anyone on the Left landing here wonders why tonight went the way it did, it was this picture more than anything else

Posted at November 2, 2010 by Kevin DuJan // Hillbuzz

No, John Lewis, Democrats can suck it.

Democrats did this to themselves.

That walk across the Capitol grounds.

Steny Hoyer and John Lewis holding hands.

Hoyer carrying Pelosi’s purse.

Pelosi laughing and laughing at what she was doing to the Constitution, carrying her giant hammer.

George Soros lurking in the background behind them.

Americans never forgot this image.

And never will.

NOTE:  Please feel free to use this as a general election night thread.  You can also use the individual threads below for various contests, but I bet more people will just gravitate towards this one for the results tonight.

I am literally so beat from canvassing and keeping up with everything that I’m not sure how much longer I can stay awake…so do me the favor of keeping this thread updated for me as results come in so people looking for the information can have it.

Thank you to everyone out there for working hard.  Tomorrow we start the 2012 campaigns.  I’m dead serious about that too…so have fun tonight…celebrate a little…but be ready to be back in the game again on November 3rd.

How did Bristol Palin do on Dancing with the Stars this week?

Posted at November 2, 2010 by Kevin DuJan // Hillbuzz

www.GetCookiesbyKatie.com

Even though most everyone will be following the election results, we wanted to make sure there was a place to stay up to date with how Bristol Palin did on Dancing with the Stars this week.

According to the DialIdol computer, Bristol had the third highest percentage of dial-in votes…and assuming her online voting was similar, she should be safe this week.

Though, yes, I do think the show tried setting her up for a fall by teaming her with bad dancers in hopes of having her group be the lowest team.

I don’t think the show has succeeded in booting our Bristol, though.  So, I expect she is safe for another week.

If we keep voting aggressively for her, I believe Bristol will make it to the finale show, and come in at least third place.

Go, Team Bristol, Go!

POLL: Which member of the lamestream media do you most want to see humiliated, in tears, wetting themselves, and going pale green live on the air tonight?

Posted at November 2, 2010 by HillBuzz // Hillbuzz

I have to be honest here:  I can’t even watch MSNBC or CNN, not even for my daily dose of schadenfreud.  I can sit through maybe five minutes of this garbage, tops.

CNN, to me, is even worse than MSNBC because it has that Panel of Four Idiots on all the time:  Donna Brazile, David Gergen (think it’s his name), Campbell Brown, and the fat black man with bug eyes who looks like a toad (pretty sure that’s not his real name, but he’s the guy who looks like what I’ve described, and is always sweating under the studio lights).

These are four of the dumbest people I’ve ever seen assembled in one place on a television show that was not produced by Jim Henson productions — and the “people” in question weren’t made of felt with eyes made from bisected ping pong balls.

I know Rachel Maddow grates on a lot of people out there, but I’ve never watched her show and pretty much ignore  her.  The same with Anderson Cooper, who to me reminds me of a come-to-life version of Casper the Friendly Ghost.  Everyone here in Boystown calls him “The Silver Fox”, but I think he looks like he’s been rolling around in flour for a while…and have to admit that when he went swimming with great white sharks in South Africa earlier this year I was on some level hoping some of those things were on a strict Vanderbilt diet.

The people I really can’t stand, though, are Chris Matthews and Keith Olbermann.  The two of them were part of this trio that constantly berated Hillary Clinton in 2008, demanding she drop out of the presidential race.  They read whatever the Obama campaign wrote for them to say — hitting Hillary on her clothes, her hair, her weight issues, her age, etc.  They completely demeaned the woman, called her a witch, and repeatedly said she had no business in the race.  Then, they called her and all of her supporters RAAACISTS! for not bowing before Obama.

I am only slightly kidding when I say I believe Hera on Olympus keeps a running list of people who were evil to Hillary Clinton, and then systematically punishes them for this.

When Tim Russert died of a heart attack midway through the political campaign, it sure as Hell felt like all the nastiness and lies he put out there about HRC came back at him, like a giant karmic reverb.

Matthews and Oblermann are the two surviving members of the “He-Man Hillary Hating Club” from 2008…which became the “Duh-namic Duo of Palin Bashers” in the fall of that election.  They’ve remained in this capacity ever since. On MSNBC’s payroll.

They have not had their karmic reverb yet.

But I hope it is coming.

And I hope Donna Brazile, that sweaty black toad man (whatever his name is), and Campbell Brown get theirs too.

I think, collectively, it’s MSNBC itself I most want to see Hera smite…because it is just such a shameless Obama promoter and propaganda network.  It should suffer some serious consequences for pushing this man into the White House and running so much cover for him.

Who, specifically, are you going to be watching tonight, just to see them get sick on the air as they have to report on the largest smackdown Democrats have ever received?

Who do you want to see sweat, stammer, and get sick on live TV?

What one thing tonight would make Chris Matthews and Keith Olbermann's heads explode the most?

Posted at November 2, 2010 by HillBuzz // Hillbuzz

I don’t think I’m alone in detesting both Chris Matthews and Keith Olbermann.  The two of them are the very personification of everything that is wrong with the media.

As I’m out here canvassing against Jan Schakowsky in Chicagoland, I’m thinking about what would really blow their minds and make their heads explode in terms of election results?

What races, should Democrats lose, would cause these two to have Tim Russert-grade heart attacks right there in the news room?  What would make their eyes bulge out, the color drain from their faces, and uncontrollable projectile vomiting spew from them?

What are races they believe Democrats could never lose…so Republican victories would be earth-shattering in their unexpectedness to these two fools?

Chime in below.

New York/New Jersey Election Results Thread

Posted at November 2, 2010 by HillBuzz // Hillbuzz

What’s happening on the ground in New York/New Jersey?

What’s happening with the Governor and two Senate races?

If there really is a massive, historic wave, at least one of New York’s Senate seats will go Republican.  If Democrats lose any of these three races, it will be beyond any of their worst nightmares.

And that’s not even getting into the local races.

If you know these two states, please chime in on this thread and keep us updated.

Texas Election Results Thread

Posted at November 2, 2010 by HillBuzz // Hillbuzz

Tell us what’s happening in Texas on this election day.

What races are you following?

What national implications are there?

How is the storm in Dallas affecting voting?  On CNN earlier today they had a meterologist on who talked about historic weather-related voting trends:  the wetter and colder it is outside, the more likely Republicans are to win an election.

This, I think, is because Republicans are more likely to vote out of a patriotic duty while Democrats need gimmicks and excitement to get them to polls…and those are hard to muster when the weather is miserable.  Also, I bet Republicans are more likely to have cars or live in nice areas with better access to polling stations.  Meanwhile, Democrats walk or take buses and doing either in bad weather is daunting.  Much easier to just stay home and write voting off.

Thoughts on Texas or the weather theory?  Use thread below.

VOTER FRAUD/ELECTION TAMPERING THREAD

Posted at November 2, 2010 by HillBuzz // Hillbuzz

Please add links to all stories about voter fraud and election tampering that’s happening across the country today as Democrats try to use every ACORN, SEIU, Black Panther, and Alinsky took in their books to try to game whatever elections they can.

So far, just today:

* Robin Carnahan, SoS in Missouri, has suspiciously allowed the voter identification computer server to crash…so there’s no way to determine whether or not voters are legally eligible to vote.  She’s running for a Senate seat and looks to have pulled this stunt to help her chances.  This woman needs to go to prison.

* Black Panthers have been spotted intimidating voters outside a polling place in Philadelphia.  This was the same polling place they intimidated voters at back in 2008.  Obama and Eric Holder then made sure they weren’t prosecuted for their crimes.  Obama even had one of the men involved invited over to the White House so thay could all laugh about it.  These people need to go to prison.

* In several states, we’re hearing word of polling stations being unlabeled, unidentified, and people making it hard to vote.  If you are in one of these states, and are seeing this happen, talk about it in this thread.

After this election is over, starting tomorrow, we want to make combating Voter Fraud one of the key things we drive around here.  We’re all just sick of this — and tired of so many of you out there feeling like there’s nothing you can do about stopping this.  Well, there has to be something we can do…and we are going to figure this out together.

I can tell you straight-up why Voter Fraud keeps being an issue in this country:  it is because the Cocktail Party GOP establishment has allowed this fraud time and again.

Why?

Two reasons:

(1) Talking about voter fraud terrifies them because 80% of the people assisting with this fraud are black, work for groups like ACORN, the SEIU, the Black Panthers, etc. and Republicans are afraid of the thuggery Al Sharpton, Jesse Jackson, Henry Gates, and others would pull if they made combating Voter Fraud to be a serious issue.  Republicans are terrified of being called racists.  They wimpy, GOP men anyway.  They are so emasculated and browbeaten by the media that they don’t ever dare address Voter Fraud head-on.  This needs to stop.  Just about everyone in America has now been called a racist and an enemy by Obama.  You need to stop being afraid of the media calling you names and aggressively combat Voter Fraud on all levels.  Who on Earth out there would be FOR Voter Fraud in the public?  So, it’s ridiculous that GOP politicians don’t make this a major, sustained issue because it hurts Democrats almost exclusively since they are committing the majority of the fraud.

(2) See above: the Cocktail Party GOP has never done anything about fraud because they like having options in place for when they want to commit fraud too.  That needs to stop.  Either you can make a compelling case for your candidate and marshal the creative strategy to get her or him elected or you can’t.  There should be no cheating allowed, ever. Period.

It is ABSURD that every day ramshackle ATMs on street corners, covered in grafitti and urinated on by bums can process thousands of transactions safely, efficiently, and free from fraud and yet every election we encounter widespread, Democrat-engineered, voter fraud.

Everything that happens today needs to be followed up on and investigated.  ALL OF IT. Even things that Republicans might be doing.  ALL OF IT.

No more voter fraud, ever.

That’s going to be one of our November 3rd goals and you are going to help with it big time.
