Jerry Lewis plans to gut EPA. Guess remounted tour of "Damn Yankees" on hold.

Jerry Lewis stayed at a hotel I worked at in Cleveland in the 90s when he toured with “Damn Yankees”. He was a very nice, but weird, man. I worked in Sales and he would call our office asking for cardboard and markers so he could make “Be quiet! I am sleeping!” signs to tape to the silk wall coverings outside his room, so other guests would not disturb him by walking by too loudly. He also had me, in the dead of night, go to a gas station to get Pepsi because his dogs were thirsty. And apparently only drank Pepsi.
Which, course, he called “Pupsi”, then giggled like he did in his old movies.
This is, of course, not the same Jerry Lewis who wants to gut the EPA and cut off all its funding…but wouldn’t it be ridunkulous if it was?
You’ll never think of Pepsi the same again, I bet.

This is going to become the #1 political story in 2011 and 2012.
Hardly anyone can see just how much damage this will do to the Democrat Party.
Today, the Left is celebrating the fact it found a creative way to pass Reparations payments to blacks with few Americans noticing.
In the months ahead, however, where all this money is going will be investigated and massive fraud leading all the way to the White House will be uncovered.
This will bring down the current president.

Governor Palin is making all the right enemies

I have said this repeatedly: Governor Palin in 2010 is in a very similar position to Hillary Clinton in 2006.
The media and party establishment are joined together in relentlessly attacking her because they have picked, together, a man they want as the next presidential nominee.
In this case, it is Mittens Romney. Against Hillary, it was Obama.
Clinton Derangement Syndrome keeps many Palin supporters from seeing that the same playbook used against HRC in 2008 is being used against the Governor now.
I personally have tried to address this directly, and have urged Palin supporters to learn from Hillary’s primary mistakes, but the bulk of them do not want to listen. Instead, they would just fill threads on those articles up with attacks on HRC for everything under the sun. They just can’t seem to help it. Like someone who just can’t stop badmouthing an ex boyfriend, where a conversation about farm subsidies could somehow be twisted into a diatribe about the time Joe forgot their anniversary and didn’t even get a card because he is an ass like that.
Or because it’s like the time he killed Vince Foster.
Ridiculous.
For those of us who WERE paying attention to the media-DNC tag team against HRC from 2006-2008 this media-RNC alliance against Governor Palin is unsurprisingly familiar.
Just saying.

Mike Castle is another politician profiting from the nude body scanners.
Kerry-Heinz’s portfolio seems to be earning the most off those RapeeScan nude imagining machines though.
It’s more than Kerry’s Munsters residuals and merchandizing fees, this side of Halloween, that’s for sure.
Will Republicans stand up to farm lobby and end $5 billion annual ethanol subsidy?
Ethanol is an unfunny joke.
Al Gore pushed a $5 billion annual subsidy for ethanol as a political favor to farm states.
It has not done any of the things it was supposed to do and instead drove food prices up.
We need to stop handing so much of our Treasury to agribusiness…and we need food prices to drop.
Will Cocktail Party blue blood GOP establishment types man up and tell Iowa to go to Hell for the good of the country?
Do they have the guts to do the right thing?

This is part of a much bigger problem, but eight Republicans refused to ban ridiculous, money wasting, pork projects.
Even though they knew the measure would fail because Democrats would vote against it.
They just didn’t want to be on record against pork because they live for the stuff.
Worse, Lisa Murkowski proves people in Alaska love it too…her write in campaign was all about keeping pork flowing.

Not that I am complaining notorious race baiter and incompetant buffoon Eric Holder is far away from his office and preoccupied with something other than deliberately using race to distort justice…but the World Cup?
Really?
This is a priority for the Attorney General?
Didn’t the US host a disastrous, poorly attended World Cup already…with empty stadiums and a public that was only vaguely aware what was happening?
Don’t we have questions Holder can be answering before Congress regarding the Black Panthers voter intimidation case he dropped for racial reasons…or the Pigford Black Reparations fraud the Obama administration is about to be engulfed in?
Why is Eric Holder in Switzerland for World Cup lobbying?
Sounds to me like they just wanted him out of the country.
