INDIANA GROUND REPORT
Dear HillBuzz,
The most prominent race here in Southern Indiana is between Brad Ellsworth (D) and Dan Coats (R) for the Senate. There’s palpable anger here over Ellsworth, who claims to be a Blue Dog Dem but voted for the Stimulus, ObamaCare (BEFORE Obama appeased Sestak with the abortion executive order), and anything else Pelosi told him to. People are especially angry that he refused to hold Town Halls over ObamaCare – and that when they called his office to tell him they were against it, his staff actually ARGUED with them and told them why they were wrong.

The realization that, late at night, long past 3am, Obama’s very clearly kept awake at night wondering not only what Hillary Clinton is up to — plotting against him — but what Governor Palin is doing, wherever she is, too.
In the bunker that has become the current West Wing, the “historic and unprecedented first fey black president” most likely spends the majority of his day paranoid, in a cold sweat, dreading the day the Secretary and the Governor ever sit down for a coffee and laugh it up…the way HRC intimated last year she’d like to do.
It’s HILLARIOUS!

David "Popcorn" Kernell Sentencing Watch Thread — update as you hear news

Today, October 29th 2010, David “Popcorn” Kernell is scheduled to be sentenced for the crime spree he engaged in as an Obama operative in the waning days of the 2008 campaign.
Kernell is the son of disgraced Tennessee Democrat state rep Mike “Terrible Father” Kernell, and was motivated in his computer-based crimes to attack Governor Palin after she became John McCain’s VP pick on the 2008 Republican ticket.
Kernell was convicted of his crimes what seems like ages ago, but his sentencing was delayed again and again for various and sundry reasons.
Unless it’s bumped again today, we’ll finally know how much time Kernell spends in jail for breaking the law to serve Obama.
We’re suspicious of this sentencing process because Kernell is just the latest Obama supporter to face justice for committing crimes to foster Obama’s election. Remember:

* Helen Jones-Kelley, disgraced former Director of Ohio’s Department of Health and Family Services, used government computers to illegally obtain information against Joe “the plumber” Wurzelbacher in the last days of the 2008 campaign…in hopes of using Alinsky Methods to attack Joe the Plumber for asking Obama a question that led the then-candidate Obama to reveal his “redistribute the wealth” socialist intentions for the country. Jones-Kelley was at first defended by Governor Ted Strickland, but was later asked to resign her position (and was not fired). Instead of being prosecuted for her crime, she now “consults” to the state of Ohio…apparently on orders from Obama that she remain employed by taxpayers in some capacity.
The current INjustice Department has a distinct habit of making sure Obama operatives receive the lowest sentences possible, when they are prosecuted at all for the crimes they committed to help elect Obama.
BUT, the Black Panthers and Helen Jones-Kelley are all black and David “Popcorn” Kernell is white…so today is a test to see if he’s treated differently than other Obama operatives because he’s not black himself.
Will INjustice be blind to color when the Obama operative is a Boticelli-curled white boy from Tennessee, instead of Black Panthers or a Helen Jones-Kelley?
We guess we’ll soon see.
KANSAS GROUND REPORT

On the ground in Kansas….
Or more accurately, rural Kansas. I can’t tell you a thing about Wichita, Topeka or Kansas City because I rarely get to “the big city.” All I can tell you about is the 1st Congressional District, a huge expanse of 69 counties in which the biggest city has a population of 45,000. Welcome to what the elites call “flyover country”—and what those of us blessed to live here call the heart of the heartland. I can see the Geographic Center of the Lower 48 from my house! (well, OK, the official stone marker is actually two counties over)

Here’s another report from Oregon. First of all thank you hillbuzz. I just came back from my first sign waving rally for Art Robinson at one of the most liberal intersections in our area. I tried to talk myself out of it at least 10 times this morning, but your post about getting off my butt put me over the edge.

VIRGINIA GROUND REPORT
Dear HillBuzz,
With The One due to make an appearance in Charlottesville on Friday on behalf of our freshman Dem congress critter, let me fill you in on what’s happening in Virginia’s Fifth District.
To cut to the chase: Republican challenger Robert Hurt, a Sarah Palin endorsee, is going to win this district in a walk, despite 2 significant difficulties:
1) an independent 3rd party candidate who may siphon off a few percentage points; and
2) being at a huge disadvantage in money, media exposure and name recognition.
VA5 is a sprawling, mostly rural, centrist R-leaning district, often described as being larger geographically than the state of New Jersey. There’s a concentration of Dem voters toward the northern end of the district, and a large African-American Dem vote in two small cities in the southern part of the district; the remaining 1 small city and 17 mostly rural counties (including many with very high African-American populations) tend to be more traditional, conservative and/or Bible belt in orientation.
The official unemployment rate everywhere other than the liberal-voting north is well above, and in several places double or even triple the state’s official rate of 7% (the statewide average is skewed because of the enormous govt. job machine U.S. taxpayers subsidize for many Northern VA residents, along with the many businesses there which benefit from their locale’s high employment rate).
In nearly every city and county in the Fifth, official unemployment has worsened over the past year (“stimulus” my a**). And that’s not even counting thousands of high school and college grads who can’t find work, but aren’t counted as “unemployed”.
Among our district’s distinctions:
1) Martinsville, home to NASCAR’s Martinsville Speedway: For well over a decade – since NAFTA, outsourcing and the anti-tobacco litigation – Martinsville has had the highest unemployment rate in Virginia (officially > 21%, in reality more like >30%). Since 9/11 it has also had among the highest military enlistment and casualty rates in the nation. These are not unrelated facts.
2) Bedford city and Bedford County: Home to the heroic Bedford Boys of D-Day fame.
3) Monticello, in southern Albemarle County: Home of the revered Thomas Jefferson, who would be tickled pink that finally, FINALLY, a considerable contingent of Americans – namely, the Tea Party – are taking seriously his admonition that for the American experiment in democracy to succeed, periodically we need a good old political revolution.
4) Farmville and Prince Edward County, made famous by the Davis v. School Board of Prince Edward County school desegregation case (part of Brown v. Board of Education) and Virginia’s anti-integration movement in the 50s-60s, known as “Massive Resistance”.
5) VA Fifth is one of Sarah Palin’s 20 targeted districts which voted McCain-Palin in 2008, but elected a Dem to Congress who then proceeded to support Obamacare over his constituents’ loud, clear, repeated objections.
6) Higher Ed Belt: We have a large number of public and private universities in and bordering the district, which clearly made the difference for the youngish D candidate in 2008. This year, not so much. Unlike the now D-incumbent, who went to Yale, the Republican challenger – also young – graduated from one of the district’s finest colleges.
No question, though, the D-incumbent has a lot of advantages:
– being a national media darling (regular coverage and repeat interviews in WaPO, NYTimes, the network news, Colbert & Stewart, to name only a few) because of his influential Ivy League connections;
– having a 3-1 advantage in campaign funds due to same (including hefty sums from Wall Street) and running internet ads everywhere, including (misleadingly) on many centrist and right-wing sites;
– and the many outside special interest groups (MoveOn, environmental groups, education unions, you name it) buying nonstop TV and print ads on his behalf. A Politico report this week listed this district as the 2nd highest in the nation this year for outside group spending (http://www.politico.com/news/stories/1010/44137.html ), 90% of it for the incumbent Dem. Last Tuesday alone “The Democratic Party and left-leaning groups poured $862,444” into the D-incumbent’s campaign (http://mobile.politico.com/story.cfm?id=44107&cat=topnews ). From where I sit, the Dem-fed media nonsense about the Chamber of Commerce, etc. is overt voter fraud.
But R-challenger Robert Hurt has correctly and steadfastly identified the incumbent Dem as a rubber stamp for the Obama-Pelosi-Reid agenda and the unlimited spending they stand for. Voters get it, as do the region’s daily and weekly newspapers, all of which so far have endorsed Hurt.
The debate performances may have had something to do with Hurt’s solid endorsements record. I only watched one of their 3 debates, and was frankly embarrassed by the incumbent’s increasingly flailing (both rhetorically and physically) presentation. Meanwhile, Hurt was steady, informed and unshakeable on principle, facts and argument. Literally no contest.
The enthusiasm gap in Mr. Hurt’s favor is enormous. The D-incumbent has imported paid campaign operatives from DFA, OFA and all manner of other outside groups to do the groundwork that local committees or volunteers normally handle. For a former D activist (until the O-inspired misogyny of 08) who never had a problem getting local volunteers, it’s almost sad.
But in fact, I feel no sorrow at all for the D-incumbent, whose first TV ad over the summer MOCKED working men, and erased women from the workforce altogether. When so many people are unemployed or hanging by a thread, when the dismal economic reports never end, the fantasyland “recovery summer” is a bust, and, at that point, we were still getting used to a Gulf-full of oil and reports of entire industries in that region going bust as a result, these clowns advertise their candidate out there in a suit and tie doing working class jobs.
It was supposed to be humorous but it came across as condescending, besides suggesting that anyone who wasn’t employed just wasn’t trying. I could hardly believe this wholesale insult from a supposedly “bright” (private schools, Ivy League undergrad and law degree – who does THAT remind you of!) up-and-coming Dem star. Every time that ad came on I either swore and/or cringed, for its sheer stupidity, cruelty and sexism.
So now this supersmart Dem is doing the one thing that can really put the nail in his coffin – bringing The One here on election eve. Remember, Obama lost this district in 2008, BEFORE most people realized how wispy and incompetent he is. Mention him almost anywhere around here these days, and people just shake their heads and laugh, in quiet despair.
Either the D-incumbent is looking for a White House job come January, or he thinks appearing with The One is the way to lock down the VA A-A vote for when he runs for statewide office or president or whatever. We’ll see how that works out. For now, though, what he’s doing is blowing to bits whatever limited political credibility he has left.
Tuesday the 2nd can’t come soon enough. Here’s rooting for Bristol on DWTS, for both of baseball’s upstart Tea Party teams – the Giants AND the Rangers – over the coming week, and for America’s future on Election Day!

What’s on your mind this Thursday?
Welcome to the Broken Record Hour of HillBuzz.
Listen, I want to talk to you on a personal level here, because I need you to listen and to put aside whatever stubbornness that keeps you from getting involved in things. This is something cultural that’s very endemic to conservatives — and it’s totally alien to me because I’m not like this at all.
If something needs to be done, I do it. If some ass needs to be punched in the face, I punch him. Two, three, four times. Whatever it takes.
If someone needs to be called out, I write a 5,000 word essay about how terrible he is (and, Hell, that’s even more fun if he’s one of my exes). I’m from a part of Cleveland that I affectionately call “Thunderdome”, where everything was terrible and every damn day was a battle for survival against the metaphoric equivalent of gangs of zombies, giant spiders, and a creeping blob of awful.
You never know, day to day, whether you will get a love letter or hate mail from me. This is considered by my friends to be one of my more endearing traits. I call it like I see it and don’t much care whose feelings I step on, because the only thing I care about is using the 24 hours I have each day to do whatever I can for America. This is MY WATCH. And as long as there is breathe in my body and a beat in my heart you can bet your ass I am going to be the unstoppable little gay dude that could right here in Boystown — dragging everyone I can along for the ride — doing all I can to give the Left one epic SMACKDOWN the likes of which these f***ers never dreamed possible.
I love this country.

Listen up, buttercups — every last one of you is living in a state, or even foreign country, and you are an intelligent, informed, observant human being.
For whatever reason, you seem to choose to sit on your butt, drink Pepsi all day, and just read things other people write online. For whatever reason, you seem to go through life thinking “someone else will do this or that”. It is the single worst attribute of conservatives that I’ve noticed in the two years since I’ve been reaching out to Republicans. You believe you are too busy doing whatever it is you are doing — having farting contests with household animals, going to the store, taking children to ballet lessons, whatever — so you believe that “someone should” this or that or the other. But, YOU are never that someone.
I don’t understand that.
I am always that someone.
Often to my detriment.
Walking along the lakefront path here in Chicago, if some ass on a bike blows into a tourist walking and tries to get back on that bike to speed away, I am the someone who shouts “Citizen’s arrest, citizen’s arrest!” like a damn fool and jumps on top that bike so the perp can’t get away. Because SOMEONE has to do that, since there’s a bleeding tourist and a speed demon Chicago jackass yuppie with his spandex and racing bike and dammit SOMEONE has to referee this until the cops get there.
I tell people to be quiet in movie theaters. I write essays every day about how terrible the current White House, Democrat Party, and federal government are, getting me in more trouble than you will ever know. I tell bartenders to stop serving people I observe being too drunk. I spot people in line at the airport or train station I think are up to things and tell security I think they are suspicious.
On any given day, I bet there are dozens of people who’d love to bash my head in because I don’t shut up about all the things they keep telling me to shut up about.
I figure SOMEONE has to do all of these things, and for whatever reason that someone is me. I’m a gay dude in Boystown with no dependents and nothing to lose, I guess, so if it has to be SOMEONE then I guess it might as well be me.
Well, in the last days before this election, I am asking you for a very personal favor. I need you to write into HillBuzz with GROUND REPORTS on what you are seeing in your home towns. What are things like on the ground in YOUR state?
I don’t care if your grammar and spelling am bad. I don’t care if it’s three bloody sentences long. I don’t care if it’s 5,000 words long. I, frankly, don’t even care if you draw pictures and re-enact whatever it is you want to report using Muppets and post it on YouTube for us. In fact, speaking from a place of perfect honesty, I would actually adore that.
I just want to hear from you.
You can’t see the behind-the-scenes here at HillBuzz, but EVERY SINGLE ONE OF THE GROUND REPORTS WE’VE RUN has been picked up by dozens of actual dinosaur print and TV media sites. EVERY ONE OF THEM. Missouri. Massachusetts. Kentucky. Ohio. Hawaii. California. Every person that has written in with a GROUND REPORT has no idea the reach of what they’ve written — because the actual “media” in this country is so poor, so lazy, and so ignorant people are DESPERATE to hear what is really going on ON THE GROUND.
If you write a GROUND REPORT for us, it will be seen by hundreds of thousands of people…maybe millions as the days go on. That is a bigger reach than most of your local papers.
When you write-in to tell us what people on your street in Chagrin Falls, Ohio are saying, you don’t realize that people in Mumbai, India are reading what you wrote and getting a new perspective on this election. You don’t seem to understand that the person assigned to monitor us in the White House (hey Daniel!) reads what you wrote and wets his pants a little, because it is just that much more confirmation that Obama has led the democrats to a historic loss of epic proportions. So much for being a Lightbringer, right?
The GROUND REPORTS we’ve been collecting are being saved and studied by at least five historians that I know of. They’ve asked my permission to lift these first hand accounts and include them in white papers they are writing on this election. This is historic. These are first hand accounts on the ground spotting what all the experts are missing.
I just don’t know how else to put this: you sitting at your computer, writing us for fifteen minutes, and just telling us what YOUR GUT TELLS YOU and chiming in with what YOUR NEIGHBORS ARE SAYING is of great historic importance…in addition to being invaluable intel that conservatives and Tea Party minded folk like us can use to maximize the blow the Left receives next Tuesday.
Sitting on the couch, having farting contests with your pets, drinking Pepsi, and assuring yourself how busy and important you are certainly seems to be an unbreakable habit for a great many conservatives. I just don’t get this, and never will, but I’m asking you to pry yourself off that couch — for once in your life — and open your GMAIL, HOTMAIL, or whatever and hit COMPOSE and then type in HillBuzz@gmail.com.
You are almost halfway there if you did this already.
Now, in the subject line, type the name of your state and write GROUND REPORT.
Then, in the email, write Dear HillBuzz,
And then just have at it. Write what you feel. Tell us what you think the people you share your community with feel about the Democrats. Tell us what the people around you have been saying about Democrats. Tell us about a local candidate you love that is not getting national attention.
The actual White House reads this site every day. The RNC reads this site every day. The DNC reads it and hates my guts because of it. I think sometimes the White House might actually want to kill me — and I think that’s hilarious.
There is no other way for people coast to coast to know what is REALLY going on in your community unless you send an email that starts off “Dear HillBuzz” and you tell us all about it.
So, I ask you again, why haven’t you gotten off your butt and written a GROUND REPORT? Why don’t we have a report from every state in the union and every foreign country HillBuzz is read in. We’re the 3,562nd most popular site in New Zealand, but I have yet to receive any sort of correspondence from Aukland. That’s ridunkulous.
There’s less than a week before one of the most important elections in my lifetime. I am 33 years old. I do not intend to spend the rest of my life regretting not saying what I feel and using every tactic I can think of to pull you people off your comfy, warm butts and get you involved in this election.
I love this country too much to let you sit there drinking your Pepsi being an observer in this life.
YOU have great value.
YOU have tremendous insight.
YOU may have a love of sitting on your butt, and you may in fact have a butt that’s supernaturally comfortable, but for the love of this country I need you to get off that couch and compose a GROUND REPORT for your state.
Quit expecting someone to do this for you. Quit underestimating YOUR talent. Quit thinking like a Democrat and expecting someone to do this for you.

I would like to see HB contribute to the historic record of this election to document, with first hand accounts in every damn state, just how epically the Left has failed in the year 2010, in the month of October, when average Americans got off their butts, put down their Pepsi, and said “Hell to the NO” to every last crazy thing the Socialist in the White House tried to do to the country I love more than life itself.
So, are you going to drink more Pepsi and fart around all day, or are you going to file a GROUND REPORT now, or what?

An Open Letter to Rush Limbaugh and His Listeners — With Notes on the Democrat Civil War Already In Progress
When Obama and the DNC attacked Hillary and her supporters, they permanently alienated tens of millions of us from the party. I know for a fact I am not the only guy with a picture like this on his wall who is working every day to bring down the Obama White House and Democrat Party. Not for Hillary, though I love the woman, but for America...because I love this country even more.
Dear Rush,
It’s my great hope that some of your listeners find a way to get this letter to you, or that it makes it to “Snerdley” and finds its way into your hands. I don’t think even you understand just how much damage Obama has done to the Democrat Party — to the point where formerly lifelong Democrats like myself, and everyone here at HillBuzz.org, are actively working to expose the party and literally burn it to the ground for the good of the country.
None of this is being reported in the media, but a Civil War in the Democrat ranks has been raging since May 31st, 2008…a date every Hillary Clinton supporter knows well, because that was the date of the Democrat Rules & Bylaws Committee Meeting where Howard Dean (then-DNC Chair), Donna Brazile, and scores of other Kool-Aid slurping Obama flunkies took off their masks and revealed the full extent of the Leftist coup that had taken over the party. This was the day when the DNC took delegates Hillary Clinton won in Michigan away from her and handed them to Obama (despite the fact he wasn’t even on the primary ballot in that state, because he removed his name when his campaign realized he’d come in third in that race).
May 31st, 2008 was a day when Hillary “babes” (as you call us sometimes) like us flew to Washington in large numbers to stand outside the Marriott near the National Zoo, where this Rules & Bylaws Committee Meeting was held, to shout for the DNC to count all the votes and operate the nominating process fairly — but they refused. The anger over that day has never abated. In fact, it’s grown considerably since then.
This was the determining factor in millions of us leaving the Democrat Party for good. This was the day when the P.U.M.A. movement began — in response to Donna Brazile’s calls for “party unity” following the Rules & Bylaws Committee Meeting, we “Hillary babes” said “Party Unity My A$$” (or People United Means Action, depending on how you want to phrase it). Exit polls showed 8 million PUMA voted Republican for the first time in our lives in the fall of 2008…casting ballots for McCain/Palin (and in truth, mainly for Palin, whom we support, and not to a small degree because she receives many of the same attacks lobbed at Hillary Clinton all these years).
You seem to know most of all this, so I’ll end the history lesson by noting the people alienated by the Democrat Party during the primaries in 2008 — where it was clear the party and the media colluded at great lengths to push Obama while hammering Hillary Clinton into the ground — never came back to the Democrat Party.
This is also when most of us stopped using the term “Democratic Party”, since there’s nothing “democratic” about these people. They are the “Democrat Party”, and even that is hard to acknowledge because they really and truly have proved themselves to be enemies of real democracy.
I’m still registered as a Democrat here in Chicago (because the Cocktail Party GOP establishment so disgusts me I can’t will myself to party-ID Republican, and there’s no Independent option here in Illinois) but I can’t imagine ever voting for another Democrat again, as long as I live. To Hell with Democrats. This was solidified for me on Christmas Eve of last year, when Democrats rushed Obamacare through the Senate in the dead of night, through various secret channels, and every single Democrat voted for its passage (even supposed moderates like Evan Bayh in Indiana, who quickly realized his vote would cost him re-election…so the coward retired rather then face angry voters over what he did). I just don’t believe Democrats should be given elected office by voters because they cannot be trusted to even read bills before they vote on them, not even when said bills seek to permanently alter the entire American economy. This is reckless and reprehensible to the point of treason.
I was a Democrat for 32 years before the heavy-handed push for Obama alienated me from the party…and I borrow what Hillary Clinton said about Republicans once, back when she was a Goldwater Girl, and will paraphrase by saying that I didn’t leave the Democrat Party, the Democrat Party left me.
After it beat me to a pulp, called me a racist, berated and insulted me, and used Alinsky Rules to hit me with everything it had. Not just me, but all Hillary supporters.
This is the part I don’t think you understand because I don’t know if you and your listeners paid much attention to what the Obama campaign and DNC did to malign and assault Hillary Clinton’s supporters during the 2008 campaign. None of this has been forgotten by any of us.
If you have not seen it already, Rush, you need to watch Gigi Gaston’s documentary “We Will Not Be Silenced 2008″. I’m featured in a segment on the voter fraud that was committed in the Iowa Caucus back in January of 2008. While I was always aware Democrats use unions and other means to cheat in elections, I never knew the Democrat Party was capable of the large-scale, aggressive, unapologetic fraud it committed on Obama’s behalf all through 2008. In Iowa, I watched Obama’s ACORN and SEIU goons push and shove old people, bully them, and intimidate them when they wanted to vote for Hillary Clinton. I saw scores of Illinois license plates fill the parking lots outside caucus locations, with Chicagoland Obama supporters illegally entering the Caucus sites to vote for Obama and game Iowa for him. Having planned ahead, Obama supporters actually RAN those caucus sites, and held the doors open for all these fraudulent voters to walk right in, without being asked for IDs, where they then took control of the caucuses and bullied the Iowa residents into supporting Obama — lest they be called RAAACISTS! out in the open in front of their friends and neighbors in those open-air caucuses.
The media has never talked about this. I don’t remember ever hearing you talk about it. But one of the biggest reasons the Democrats are in the trouble they’re in right now is because of how frequently the Left and the media (one and the same, really) called anyone who opposed Obama a RAAACIST. If you supported Hillary Clinton in the primaries instead of Obama, you were called a RAAACIST. If you were someone like me who fundraised for Hillary, who hosted events for her, who put yourself out there and wrote columns advocating her or did media spots talking up her candidacy, you were aggressively targeted by the Obama campaign and his supporters…relentlessly attacked as a RAAACIST! and assaulted with the Alinksy Rules for Radicals in hopes of breaking your spirit, terrorizing you, and making you abandon Clinton for fear of having these people destroy your life, ruin your business, and make you an absolute pariah in your community.
This is what the Obama campaign, the media, and the DNC did to DEMOCRATS.
For almost a year, the Obama zealots and the Left waged all-out-war not just on Hillary Clinton, but on lifelong, loyal, dyed-in-the-wool Democrat voters like me. This came straight from the top, from Obama himself. Both he and his wife Michelle called the Clintons racists. Obama’s surrogates like James Clyburne, Al Sharpton, Jesse Jackson, John Lewis, and others called Geraldine Ferraro, Madeline Albright, and others racists. The Obamas toxified the South Carolina primary, in particular, with foul race-baiting and turned North Carolina and Indiana into racial powder kegs by ramping up accusations that anyone not supporting Obama was a vile racist that needed to be pounded into the ground.
Stephanie Tubbs Jones, my former Congresswoman back home in Cleveland, was a black Hillary Clinton supporter to the very end — and she was called a “race-traitor”, an “Aunt Jane”, and all manner of worse names as she was bullied, berated, and verbally assaulted by the Obama team…because she was black and dared to stand with her friend Hillary Clinton, the person Tubbs Jones knew would make a better president than “The One”. To her dying day in August of 2008, Tubbs Jones was threatened by the Obama campaign and told she’d be primaried in 2010 and kicked to the curb for being a “race-traitor”. She died of a brain aneurysm while driving her car, and Obama supporters filled Daily Kos, DemocratUnderground, and other George Soros-supported sites with lies about her drunk driving, doing drugs, and other slurs because even after she died these people wouldn’t stop hating her for daring to be an outspoken black woman who would never abandon Hillary for Obama.
This is similar to the grief that I’ve received here in Chicago for being a gay Hillary former Democrat in Boystown who never drank any Kool-Aid, never stopped speaking out against Obama, and who recently fully came out as a conservative — in the face of the same kind of Alinsky-grade, identity-based, “traitor” hectoring that Tubbs Jones got for being a black woman who didn’t kneel before the Obama altar.
Well, Rush, let me just tell you, from personal experience, that the tens of millions of people relentlessly abused and hounded by Obama supporters (remember that back in 2008 he urged his followers to “get in their faces” and “confront their neighbors” if they weren’t drinking his unicorn-pumped sparkly Kool-Aid ) will NEVER EVER FORGET what the Obama campaign directed at them, in terms of all this Alinsky bullying.
To quote Jeremiah Wright, the man Obama spent twenty years eagerly listening to at Trinity United Church of Christ: somebody’s chickens have now come back to roost.
During the campaign, Donna Brazile famously said that the Democrat Party no longer needed the people Obama once described as “bitter, religion-and-guns-clinging, Midwesterners”. Brazile took this further and said, outright, that the Democrat party did not need blue-collar white voters, the Jacksonian voters, the Hillary voters, because the party was “Obamafied” and would win elections for generations with the Obama coalition of blacks, Leftist elites, Hispanics, low information gay voters, and self-hating Jews.
This is all the Democrats have left, Rush.
Speaking from personal experience, as someone who has worked in fundraising for over 10 years and who has been a part of every presidential campaign since 1992, the Democrats have permanently alienated tens of millions of people who normally turned out reliably every year not just to vote Democrat, but also to write checks and otherwise participate in campaigns.
No more. Never again.
Here in Chicago, just about everyone who was part of Team Hillary efforts with me on the ground has completely divorced themselves from the Democrat Party. Being called a racist repeatedly and hearing from Donna Brazile that we are not needed will do that to a person.
But in a bigger sense, Democrats, by being so shameless and aggressive with the voter fraud in 2008 have opened too many eyes for us to ever go back to pretending that fraud and corrupt practices aren’t the hallmark of the Democrat Party.
There was a show on ABC a few years ago called Alias starring Jennifer Garner in which she played a woman working for a company called Credit Dauphine…which she was told was a front for a CIA organization called SD6. Garner’s character, Sidney Bristow, carried out her missions for SD6, overlooking different things the organization did that she might not have liked, because she thought she was doing what was best for the country. And then, one day, Sidney learned SD6 was actually an enemy of America…that it’s real mission was to destroy the country…that everything Sidney was told about SD6 was a lie. The mask came off SD6, and Sidney Bristow realized she had to work aggressively to take the whole enterprise down.
Rush (and his listeners), please hear me on this because you will not read this in the media — but just about every one of us from the Hillary 2008 campaign is a Sidney Bristow today.
Those of us who worked Democrat campaigns in the past put up with union associations and the other unsavory aspects of being a Democrat because we were told this was the only way Democrats could win…with union muscle. But, in 2008 the Democrats revealed themselves to be an SD6 conglomeration of every force in this country that wants to bring America down, tank our economy, usurp our Constitution, and lay waste to the American way of life.
Democrats took off the mask. The DNC reveled in being fully Leftist-controlled. Crazy people unapologetic in their Communist admiration took over positions of great influence not just in the DNC, but in our state and federal governments as well.
I’m horrified by that.
Hillary supporters are horrified by that.
And we have not sat back quietly to allow this to happen without a fight.
I know for a fact that people I worked with on the Hillary 2008 campaign have been actively working against every single Democrat who supported Obama’s nomination. Everyone who backstabbed Hillary Clinton is being undermined and sabotaged by people who might still be registered as Democrats but have no more loyalty to the party. Sometimes, conservative sites try to make this into a “sour grapes” sort of “Hillary’s revenge” meme — and there might be a taste of this in what’s going on — but the real driving force is that we former Democrats saw just how insane these people really are and we are now doing everything we can, behind the scenes, to use everything we know about the Democrat Party to collapse it from within.
If you think about it logically, there is not enough energy to sustain a years-long drive to remove Obama supporters from office just because people are still upset Hillary Clinton was not the 2008 nominee and is not president today. Sometimes, I think even you believe this is what this is all about. Your “Reverse Operation Chaos” initiative seems predicated on this, but that belief is apocryphal in that it misses a few big marks.
This is and it isn’t about Hillary.
What it’s really about is what the Democrat Party did to Hillary that alienated tens of millions of Jacksonian/Clintonian/middleclass Americans from the party permanently — and this includes what the party and Obama campaign did to Hillary’s supporters themselves (ie, calling them racists, telling them they weren’t wanted, calling them bitter clingers, etc.).
For the first time in our lives, so many of us former Democrats were given an Alinsky taste of what the Democrat Party really stand for…what it really believes…and how it really feels about America, our Constitution, our economy, and our way of life.
Howard Dean, Donna Brazile, Nancy Pelosi, Harry Reid, and Obama took the mask off the Democrat Party…and the Leftist gorgon that lurked beneath is something America-loving, middleclass, Jacksonian/Clintonian Democrats want nothing to do with.
As part of your “Reverse Operation Chaos”, you really need to emphasize something the media just won’t talk about — and that’s the simple fact that even if you called yourself a Democrat for 32 years, the way I did, because everyone you grew up with and everyone in your family was a Democrat, that in 2010 it’s time to ask yourselves what that really means.
Do you want to be in a party that calls people racists for stepping out of line and voicing opposition to the socialist lurch of the current administration?
Do you condone voter fraud and the shameless, undemocratic tactics employed by Democrats?
Do you wish to associate with the likes of ACORN, the SEIU, the Black Panthers, and all the other thugs, goons, and degenerates the Obama campaign and White House employ as the DNC’s muscle on the ground?
It is crystal clear that being a patriotic American who loves this country is intellectually incompatible with being a Democrat. If you love America and want it to prosper, the Democrat Party is at absolute odds with everything we need for a thriving, successful economy.
Hillary supporters realize this.
We received a heaping helping of Alinsky assaults to wake us up to this reality.
The reason so many of us support Governor Palin is not just because we see the same Alinksy assaults being waged upon her…but the woman is pitch-perfect in outlining exactly why Obama and the Left are wrong, and why Democrats under Obama are dangerous to have in elected office.
I know you talk about a “Hillary 2012″ but Rush, as much as I love Hillary Clinton, and as much as I worked my heart out for her in 2008, there’s no way that even she can repair the damage Obama has done to the party. Certainly not by 2012. MAYBE the Clintons and their supporters can purge the Obama lunatics from the party by 2016…but I doubt even that will happen. Just like with the Leftists Carter infected the Democrat Party with, Obama legacy hires will be in the DNC for a generation to come…and it might not be until the 2030s before the Democrats can remove the taint Obama and his Leftist agenda have put on the party.
Democrats have made themselves synonymous with anti-Americanism, anti-capitalism, and anti-democracy. Obama and his acolytes decidedly upped the ante when it came to their aggressive push towards socialism…and this Center-Right nation is resisting it in what I am certain will be an epic refudiation (to borrow the Governor’s term) next week.
On November 3rd, no one I know will be resting on any laurels. November 3rd starts the 2012 campaign…and not just the presidential race (where we’ll back Governor Palin) but the drive to knock people like Claire McCaskill out of office, continuing our work to take down every last one of the Obama supporters who backstabbed Hillary Clinton and helped install this socialist into the White House back in 2008. When you hear talk of a Hillary “enemies’ list”, or just “The List” as we call it in HRC supporter circles, this is very much real…and we are truly committed to making sure the Claire McCaskills out there get everything that is coming to them for all their service to Obama and his agenda.
Hear that, Ben Nelson…voters will be coming for you.

If you voted for Obamacare, you are politically dead but may not know it…and it is your own fault. Being intensely stupid is no defense. If you were a YES vote on anything related to Obamacare you are going to be defeated…if not in 2010, then in the primaries in 2012. If you survive those, you will be taken down in the 2012 general election. Your political career is over…dummy.
Hope your time on the Obama Kool-Aid bandwagon was worth ruining your life over.
We will not forget those Obamacare votes. We will not forgive being called a racist because we don’t support this terrible man and his awful agenda. We will not be silenced.
We will not give up.
It’s going to be years, if ever, before the lamestream media ever catches up to any of this, and realizes that a large swath of people who used to be Democrat loyalists are now doing everything they can to destroy the party. Some of them are out and open, like me and my friends here at HillBuzz, but many are doing their part quietly. They just stop writing checks. Or maybe now they write checks to Democrat opponents. They might continue to attend events and fundraisers, but now they call up Republican sites and give them all the dirt on what they heard in those meetings. The Democrat Party alienated so many people who are now working to bring it down that I could go on for pages and pages more on this topic.
It’s very Sidney Bristow, Rush. And if you watched that show Alias, you’d know she not only won in the end, but looked damn good kicking ass while doing it.

Here in Boystown, and in every town, because the Civil War Howard Dean, Donna Brazile, Nancy Pelosi, Harry Reid, and Obama started on May 31st, 2008 is raging without end until the Democrat Party is no more.
