GREAT MERCIFUL ZEUS: Christine O'Donnell is going to win in Delaware

Posted at October 29, 2010 by Kevin DuJan // Hillbuzz

Obama is heading to Delaware again in a last-ditch firewall effort to salvage Commie Coons’ imploding campaign.

Coons has now canceled the two debates he was scheduled to have with O’Donnell between now and Tuesday.

Canceled them.

Because he was afraid to debate her.

The woman the Democrats keep hitting with every sexist, misogynistic attack they can conjure.  The woman the call stupid.  The woman they make fun of relentlessly.

Why are they so scared of Christine O’Donnell.

Because, she really is YOU…and she is WINNING.

If you are an O’Donnell supporter in Delaware, you need to put on a Halloween witch’s hat and get out there and pound some pavement for her this weekend.

Because if this Commie Coons firewall collapses…all bets really are off in terms of just how much Democrats could lose on Tuesday.

The energy, and magic, is with O’Donnell.

Democrats are terrified.

Put on your hat, get off your butt, get on your broom, and help O’Donnell take “the Biden seat” back for the people and win this election in Delaware.

Dear HillBuzz-

Ok, you asked for it. (I think it was the references to the farting contests- how did you know?)
But, something told me to WRITE. So you’re gonna get it all. Just remember, you asked.

This all goes down in Cuyahoga County.

VIRGINIA GROUND REPORT

Posted at October 29, 2010 by Kevin DuJan // Hillbuzz

Dear HillBuzz,

I wrote in about a week ago about what’s happening in Northern VA.  Just wanted to say that your work got me off my sofa and over to Murray HQ last night to make some phone calls on his behalf.  I worked the phones for about 3 hours last night.

MISSOURI GROUND REPORT

Posted at October 29, 2010 by Kevin DuJan // Hillbuzz

Dear HillBuzz,

Not a lot to say about the state of Missouri, but here’s my little contribution.

It’s boring over here.  I live in West St Louis County and I’ve seen very little political activity which is strange this close to an election.  Usually about a quarter of lawns have some sort of sign on them, occasional doorbell ringers and at the very least, getting letter bombed with snail mail political spam.   Being normally a swing state, we’re usually inundated with phone calls, electronic polling.  In the last election cycle, the phone calls came all day long.  I’m talking 5-7 per day with the beginning of the primaries.  Now I’m only getting a handful in total and most of them from conservative groups.

MASSACHUSETTS GROUND REPORT

Posted at October 29, 2010 by Kevin DuJan // Hillbuzz

Dear HillBuzz,

Most of the talk that I hear among friends here in Massachusetts is not about our statewide races, but about our Congressional and local ones.  I hear Sean Bielat is surging to within the margin of error against Barney, and a guy named Jon Golnik is getting great support and lots of endorsements in his race against Nikki Tsongas, north of Boston.  The whole state is practically begging voters in the 4th to retire Barney, but the district is drawn to be virtually bullet-proof for Dems, and Barney rolled home from Washington with pockets overflowing with pork, so this is a real battle.

Rush and his readers want to know: How can you support Hillary Clinton and Sarah Palin at the same time?

Posted at October 29, 2010 by Kevin DuJan // Hillbuzz

Dear Rush (and his listeners),

Yesterday you asked a question I get all the time, so thanks for the opportunity to address the fact so many Hillary Clinton supporters share a great admiration and respect for Governor Sarah Palin…and are all-in for her 2012 presidential campaign, despite many conservatives repeatedly insisting “But, they are so different!  They are night and day! They’re natural enemies!”.

Really?

Both women love America, deeply, with all their hearts…to such an extent they’ve chosen to put themselves in the line of fire, on a daily basis, to do what they think is best to make this country stronger in their own ways. You might not agree with either of them on everything (or anything, if you’re a Hillary Derangement Syndrome (or Palin Derangement Syndrome) sufferer, but you can’t deny these women both take seriously their duty to the country…and if love of this nation means anything to you, you need to look past the differences the Left and the media use to keep Americans divided and start seeing that any friend of America is a potential ally in the bigger picture apart from any black and white partisan divide.

Even Hillary Clinton’s biggest detractors and harshest critics have to give the woman this:  she firmly believes in American exceptionalism and would never do anything to deliberately harm this country.  It is just not in her DNA.  It was not Hillary Clinton back in Iowa in the summer of 2007 who just stood there, stupidly, without putting a hand over her heart when the national anthem played — that was then-candidate Obama, showing more of his perpetual disrespect for this country and its patriotic traditions. Hillary Clinton would never treat the presidency with the disrespect and scorn Obama revels in, taking every opportunity afforded to apologize for America (when he’s not bowing to the Saudi king, scraping before the Emperor of Japan, and generally going out of his way to diminish the office of the presidency, like he did this week by appearing on The Daily Show as if he was just another celebrity out promoting his latest movie or reality TV series…Obama channels George Clooney instead of George Washington).

Obama, and the Leftists who came to Washington from Chicago with him, truly has a weird, grievance-driven, resentment of all things American. If you remember the 2008 Democrat Convention in Denver, Obama’s supporters trashed the little American flags they waved for the TV cameras the moment the convention ended, tossing them into the garbage with his giant styrofoam pillars from that ridiculous stadium stage (and shouted O-Ba-Ma, O-Ba-Ma, like sheeple while doing it).

Something like that would never happen at an event for either Hillary Clinton or Governor Palin.  Because the people these women both attract as supporters would never disrespect the flag, or America, like that. The reason Hillary and Palin people wouldn’t trash America, or symbols of American pride, is because these two women would never do that…and would aggressively call out anyone representing them who did. It would not be tolerated, because anti-Americanism would never be allowed to surround them in any way, shape, or form.

Obama thinks trashing America is both fun and funny. He loves it.  Can’t get enough of it.  Which is why those in his cult of personality, what I call the “Hate America Club”, are the way they are, behave the way they do, and are so gravitated towards this psychologically flawed man with a surreal axe to grind against this country…from the very Oval Office itself, unfortunately for all of us in this “Golden Age of Hope and Change”.

Maybe this is hard for some of you to understand, particularly those who’ve spent almost 20 years thinking Hillary Clinton was some sort of monster waiting her chance to “get you”.  People who’ve called this woman a witch, a “Hildebeast”, and maligned her on a daily basis have trouble with the simple fact that whatever you imagined Hillary Clinton to be, in your worst nightmares, is nothing compared to the reality of the actual, here in the flesh, Obama presidency.

This is very similar to the insane, boogeyman meme the media works overtime spreading about Governor Palin, insisting she’d come to “get” gays like me, like she’s some sort of deranged, reborn Anita Bryant. The Left, and the media that it controls, invents a new paranoid fantasy about Governor Palin every day, because her staunch patriotism terrifies them…the way Hillary Clinton has terrified them for years.  They just don’t get either of these women, or their enduring love of country.

Some of you seem to miss the simple fact that the Left declared all-out-war on Hillary Clinton in 2008…because the Left knew she would not do the things to the country the Left wanted done (the sick, corrosive, economy-destroying things Leftist academics and elites dreamed of doing for the thirty years they’ve been wandering in the wilderness since the Carter Administration).  If Hillary Clinton was the monster she’s been maligned as, the Left would have had no reason to hamstring her presidential campaign and push Obama into the White House instead of her.  Think long and hard about that.

The Left declared war on Hillary Clinton.

The Left hates Hillary Clinton.

The Left called her a witch, said she was a racist, pounded her into the ground as “polarizing”, assailed her supporters, mocked her abilities, and told her repeatedly to shut up and get off the stage.

Does this sound like anyone else we all know?

It’s, largely, the same things the Left says about, and does to, Governor Palin as well.

This is all linked intrinsically to the fact both of these women love America.  They respect the flag.  They’d consider serving as president to be the greatest honor of their lives and they’d use every day sitting behind the Resolute Desk to do whatever they thought best to leave a stronger and more prosperous America for the future when their time in office was over.

Neither of these women would be out screwing around on a golf course while millions of Americans scrounge the spare change they need to take the bus to the unemployment office.  Neither of these women would be whooping it up at “Star-studded Cocktail Party Wednesdays”, like they were living as royals in Versailles, instead of being public servants presiding over a time of great austerity and uncertainty for millions of struggling Americans.  Neither HRC nor Governor Palin would spit in American faces by taking endless vacations while so many people are without jobs, let alone the means to live a lifestyle of the rich and famous the way the Obamas constantly indulge in.

Because they feel entitled to these riches and trappings, instead of seeing themselves as they public servants they are.

There is a hard-working, America-loving, determinedness common to both HRC and Palin.  They get knocked down, then they get back up again, and neither are ever afraid to take a punch at their attackers and detractors, especially when those people are hitting not just them, but America itself too.

They are not thin-skinned, weak, and obsessed with the trappings and glamor of office…they take their jobs and responsibilities seriously, never goof around, and are people I trust implicitly to handle whatever crisis arises at 3am when that telephone rings and America needs a staunch champion in the White House to stand up and get things done.

Would HRC and Governor Palin make different decisions on some issues?  Yes.

Would I trust both of them to sit down and methodically review material in front of them to make the most informed and reasonable decision possible?  Yes.

Would I sleep well at night knowing either of them was behind the Resolute Desk when that 3am phone call came in because neither of them would ever do anything to deliberately and intentionally harm this country?  Yes.

This is what everything boils down to for me in politics — does the person running for office love America more than life itself?  Does this person work hard?  Is this person strong enough to stand up for this country and view the presidency as America’s greatest champion, with a duty to strengthen the nation and smack America’s enemies down HARD whenever the country needs her to?

HRC and Governor Palin are both as tough as nails.  That’s one of the myriad reasons their detractors hate them both so much.  They are nobody’s wilting violets.  That toughness breeds contempt in many, stoked by the media that constantly calls them both “polarizing”.  That’s a code word the Left uses against women, in particular, that’s essentially calling them both a “b****”.

Because that’s what a woman who’s tough, takes no prisoners, and hits back hard when challenged is called: “a polarizing b****”.

Know what?

I love having polarizing b****es in office then, because they sure beat having a fey, American-hating, Marxist in the Oval who delights in apologizing for our exceptionalism and demeaning the office of the presidency.

B****es get stuff done.  They take gruff from no one.  They bow before no kings or emperors.

THAT is what I want in a president.  THAT is someone I can cheer for.

Isn’t it time to put the Hillary Derangement and the Palin Derangement away and stop falling for the trap the media and Left set…the trap designed to make enemies of Hillary and Palin supporters so we never join forces against the Left, against Obama, against anti-Americanism?

Isn’t it time to stop obsessing all day about how these two women are different, and instead focus on the common ground they share…their extreme, unimpeachable, determined love of country?

Hillary Clinton and Governor Palin both have servants’ hearts.

Hillary Clinton and Governor Palin both respect the office of the presidency and the Constitution of this country.

Hillary Clinton and Governor Palin both wake up every morning and do whatever they can, personally, to make America safer, stronger, and more prosperous.

It’s in their DNA…and that, put simply, is how I can support both of them at the same time…because both of them love this country and that’s just the ultimate purity and litmus test for me.

TEXAS GROUND REPORT

Posted at October 29, 2010 by Kevin DuJan // Hillbuzz

Dear HillBuzz,

I don’t really have a whole heck of a lot to talk about for an update from the Live Music Capitol of the World that Austin prides itself on being.  The races here in Texas don’t figure to be cliff hangers.  The shock would be if they can find enough dead people and SEIU voting machines outside of Houston to pack the ballot box for Bill White to take the governorship.  I did see my first Rick Perry sign on a lawn today, but if I understand it correctly the Gov is only passing out signs for people who want to pay for them.  Dunno, just a rumor I heard, but could account for the lack of Perry signs.  Then again, this is Austin.  I think the only people who admit to knowing Rick here is Hill’s Cafe on South Congress, where you can sit in the Rick & Anita Perry booth.  Actually I prefer the Willie Nelson booth, but it’s usually taken.  Great food, regardless of whose booth you get to sit in.
