Who we want to focus our help on in the run-up to the election

Posted at October 14, 2010 by HillBuzz // Hillbuzz

There are lots of important races out there.

We, however, are just a bunch of guys in Boystown, and we can’t be everywhere at once, and focus on every single election.

We can, however, throw ourselves — all-in — into SIX RACES where we think we could use creativity, pluck, imagination, persistence, and HillBuzz and its readers to affect a real change and maybe be that little extra bit of fairy magic that tips the scales in the favor of someone we like and support.

Here are the races we’ve decided we want to go all-in for and do whatever we can to defeat the Left:

(1) Elect Joel Pollak and defeat Jan Schakowsky — Chicago Congressional race

(2) Elect Christine O’Donnell and defeat Commie Coons — Delaware Senate race

(3) Elect Sean Bielat and defeat Barney Frank — Massachusetts Congressional race

(4) Elect Linda McMahon and defeat Dick Blumenthal — Connecticut Senate race

(5) Elect Carly Fiorina and defeat Barbara Boxer – California Senate race

(6) Elect Fenn Little and defeat John Lewis — Georgia Congressional race

Every day, starting tomorrow, we’re going to have a post about each of these races…and we want to ask all of you to do whatever you can to get us as much information on these contests as possible.

The only one of these races we can be on the ground for is Pollak’s against Schakowsky.  If you are in Chicagoland, we want you on the ground too.

It’s all hands on deck time.

The Congressional races are those that, if Repubicans won, would be like driving stakes into the heart of the Democrat Party.

Can you just imagine?

In one year, Jan Schakowsky, John Lewis, and Barney Frank are all defeated?

IN THE SAME YEAR.

Thrown out like the trash they are.

If this happened, there would be actual heart attacks happening left and right at the DNC.

And those are just the House races.

Get some sleep tonight.

Rest up.

Tomorrow put on your cup or other battle armor.

Because we need your help to tip the scales and send the Left into absolute coronaries.

GREAT MERCIFUL ZEUS: Jan Schakowsky vulnerable, and TERRIFIED

Posted at October 14, 2010 by HillBuzz // Hillbuzz

Today is one of those days I never thought would come.

A new poll was just released that showed only 48% of voters here in Chicago believe Jan Schakowsky should be re-elected to Congress.

Her challenger, Joel Pollak, is just 18% behind Schakowsky (wife of convicted felon Robert Creamer), with 22% undecided.

To appreciate the magnitude of this, we remind you of a story we like to tell about what Jan Schakowsky’s office did in May of 2008, when we contacted them to object to Schakowsky turning a parade to honor our veterans into an “Obama Day” parade.

Her staff member, Alex, was beyond rude.  In the course of the conversation, Alex said Schakowsky can do whatever she wants, and turn the parade into whatever she wanted, because she runs unopposed for the nomination every two years and then wins in the general election “like 80% to whatever”.

Essentially, Alex told us we could go do anatomically impossible things to ourselves, because Jan Schakowsky — and this is a direct quote from her staffer Alex — “will be a Congresswoman for as long as she wants, for the rest of her life is she wants, and there ain’t a damn thing you can do about it, buddy”.

To recap what’s happened to Schakowsky in the two plus years since that encounter with Alex, we personally know of a great many Hillary voters who stopped contributing to Schakowsky, stopped going to her big events, and generally told her to go do anatomically impossible things to her own damn self.  And her convicted felon of a husband too.

We were thrilled when BigGovernment ran some videos of Schakowsky being stupid and acting imperious, refusing to answer questions about why Obamacare is Constitutional, if she believes that’s true.  In one of the videos a staffer rudely tries to yank Schakowsky to safety, away from the questions — by her demeanor, attitude, and voice, we’re 90% sure that’s the Alex we dealt with two years ago.

Starting Monday, we’re going to personally start canvassing for Joel Pollak, Schakowsky’s opponent here in Chicago.

Taking down JAN SCHAKOWSKY is a personal dream of ours, after how rude Alex was to us, and considering the fact her convicted felon husband actually WROTE Obamacare while in prison for defrauding charitable institutions.

This would be the equivalent of a ragtag band of rebels finding just the right exhaust port and bringing down the Death Star.

Only 48% want to re-elect her.  Something like 38% say it’s time to give a new person a chance in Congress.  The stars have aligned like never before to send this terrible, rude, malicious, reprehensible woman packing.

As we approach the home stretch to November 2nd…this is a race we want to personally throw ourselves into…because if Pollak comes CLOSE, but doesn’t win, we’d never be able live with ourselves if we didn’t know we did everything to defeat this horrible person when she was more vulnerable than ever before.

In past elections, she’s won with 75% of the vote…beating her opponents by 40% or more.

She’s only leading by 18%, her lowest lead ever…with 22% undecided…the highest that number’s ever been in one of her races.

GREAT MERCIFUL ZEUS.

We don’t let ourselves get excited about much in life…or dare to dream about the impossible…but this is earth-shattering stuff right here. If Schakowsky is this scared that she’s out actually campaigning, spending money on this race, then the Democrats’ firewall has completely collapsed.

The entire party just could be going down in flames…because Schakowsky was supposed to be unassailable.

This means all bets really are off in all races coast to coast.

BREAKING: Michelle Antoinette apprehended in electioneering crime spree

Posted at October 14, 2010 by HillBuzz // Hillbuzz

Drudge Report has revealed that Michelle Antoinette has been apprehended in an electioneering crime spree here in Chicago.

We believe this is her latest cry for help, coming on the heels of a recent French book (that she can’t read, because she and her husband only speak English, despite scolding Americans for not being bilingual) that claims the current First Spouse considers her historic and privileged role to be “a living Hell”.

Michelle Antoinette entered an early voting polling station in Chicago wtih the clear and deliberate intent to violate Illinois state law -- Sec. 17-29 (a), which states:

"No judge of election, pollwatcher, or other person shall, at any primary or election, do any electioneering or soliciting of votes or engage in any political discussion within any polling place, within 100 feet of any polling place."

Having once been a lawyer (until her law license was taken away from her), Michelle Antoinette knew exactly what she was doing today — and did it knowing she’d be caught.

This behavior is similar to Winona Ryder stuffing scarves down her blouse and into her handbag at Saks in Beverly Hills.

A cry for help if ever there was one.

Many today are wondering why the Secret Service didn’t stop the First Spouse from so flagrantly breaking the law, but it’s not the SS’s mission to protect the public from Michelle Antoinette, but to protect Michelle Antoinette from the public.

In addition to election officials here in Chicago being notified of Michelle’s crime spree, the fashion police were also called in, because she wore another of her hideous multi-colored prints while violated electioneering laws.

Ophelia Goodies, Boystown-based spokesmodel at large for the fashion police noted, “Technically, we’ve been on Auburn Diamond alert, the highest level of alert, since January 20th, 2009 because Michelle Antoinette breaks many fashion laws, rules, and other statutes on a regular basis. So, today’s a bad day for voting rights, but just another trip out of the walk-in closet for the current First Spouse”.

Flash-forwarding a decade or so in the future, long after the Obamas are booted from the White House in 2013, it’s not hard to imagine Michelle Antoinette, now heavy-set and perpetually disgruntled, actually pulling Winonas around Hawaii (where the two of them now live), shoplifting just for kicks, occasionally making national news with these stunts…since her cries for help are still not being answered.

It won’t ever be “her fault”, of course, just as her behavior today is being called “no big deal” by Robert Gibbs at the White House. “Are you kidding me? Compared to all the voter fraud we as a campaign committed back in 2008, this is small potatoes.  We had Black Panthers intimidating voters, for crying out loud, and then we had Eric Holder drop the case even after the Justice Department won by default. So what does Michelle Obama’s crime spree really matter?”

Did you know that Joe Biden's teeth have their own website?

Posted at October 14, 2010 by Kevin DuJan // Hillbuzz

Click to embiggen

Check this out:  www.JoeBidensTeeth.com

I saw this linked in this article about Joe Biden coming out on record saying he will be the VP on the 2012 ticket.

Biden’s apparently miffed that so many people have been talking about Hillary Clinton replacing him in 2012.

I’ve been telling you since 2008 that this was ridiculous, but more so now because there’s nothing HRC would gain by hopping on board this sinking ship. She’s expertly put herself on foreign travel in Asia and Europe through the November decimation of the Democrat Party.  Sometime in 2011 or so, but maybe even before Christmas, she’ll leave the State Department to go write her next book…which will then lead to a big book tour in 2013 or so…all the while she’ll rebuild HillPAC and hit the lecture circuit, campaigning heavily for Democrats in 2014…moderate/conservative Jacksonian/Clinton Democrats.

She’s running for president…in 2016.

In the article above, Biden seems to think he’s going to run in 2016, but he’s delusional.

Even his teeth think so.

Watch Michael J. Fox in this clip: Do you see any of Obama's jerks, ticks, and odd mannerisms here?

Posted at October 14, 2010 by Kevin DuJan // Hillbuzz

The video above is a 25th Anniversary Back to the Future clip (AKA, one of the best movies ever made). It’s Michael J. Fox and Lea Thompson reminiscing a little during an EW photo shoot.

It’s the first time I’ve seen Fox on camera in a while — he’s in mid-stage Parkinson’s currently.

As I was watching this, I couldn’t help but notice Fox doing things we see Obama do a lot.  There are the facial ticks, the weird gestures with his hands, and way his eyes don’t focus…a lot of Fox’s behavior feels like exaggerations of the way Obama comports himself.

One of the reasons Fox left Spin City was that he started having real trouble remembering his lines — and there were no TelePrompTers available for him, like the ones Obama is constantly surrounded by.

Makes you think.

Christine O'Donnell vs. Chris Coons debate in Delaware

Posted at October 14, 2010 by Kevin DuJan // Hillbuzz

Can you peep into Delaware and see what voters are thinking about the Christine O’Donnell vs. Chris Coons debate?

It might take a few days for any reaction to this to gestate — but what I’m picking up just by casually following anything related to the debate is that Coons did himself a grave disservice by constantly condescending to O’Donnell and giving the Martha Coakley-esque air of “I am too good to even share the stage with this person”.  It reminds me of how Coakley tried to ridicule Scott Brown, and how she refused to go outside ballparks and other public places to shake hands with voters because she thought that was beneath her.

And then she lost.

Big.

I have to admit that I really like Christine O’Donnell, both as a candidate and as a person.  It disgusted me that Karl Rove and the Cocktail Party maligned and have consistently tried to sabotage her.  She comes across like almost everyone I know right now:  she’s struggled financially, she’s working hard and staying focused despite great odds stacked against her, she’s a regular person up against the establishment.

Plus, she seems sweet and kind and does not have a whiff of arrogance or entitlement about her.  Since she’s not terribly that much older than me, she also seems like someone I would be friends with here in Chicago.

All of this needs to be factored into anything I think about this Coons-O’Donnell race, because my heart wants her to win.  That would be one of the loudest and sharpest slaps ever to the Cocktail Party — this woman they plotted against, on the Republican ticket, ends up winning.  Despite having Karl Rove himself and the Cocktail Party elite aligned against her.  That would be incredible.

It’s bizarre that both Obama and Joe Biden, in a rare appearance together, will be in Delaware to campaign against O’Donnell.  It’s also strange the Democrats are investing so much time and money to destroy her. There’s something going on behind the scenes with this that we just don’t understand.  It reminds me a lot, actually, of all the effort put into calling Chris Christie fat and making fun of his weight in the race against Jon Corzine.

This is an Alinsky tactic:  to personalize and polarize a target with ridicule so voters don’t see him or her as anything but the negative cartoon Democrats are presenting.  Democrats do this whenever they are afraid voters will like what a Republican is saying, if they took the time to listen to that person.

Someone must be polling Delaware and realizes that if voters stopped listening to Bill Maher and instead gave O’Donnell a fair shake, they’d like what they heard from her and would consider voting for her.

I have not seen one single talking point that’s pro-Commie Coons.  It’s all anti-O’Donnell negative points directed at ridiculing her on a personal level.

This is also very telling to me.  If there’s no compelling reason for voters to choose Coons, on his own merits, then O’Donnell has a real chance because I don’t see how the mood of the country would warrant people getting out of bed to go vote AGAINST someone who wants to sock it to Washington and this White House.  Democrats are definitely ginning up conservatives to play their usual games of “sit home and teach someone, we don’t know who or how, an obscure nebulous lesson no one will remember”.  Will they be stupid enough to do this to allow Coons to win?  They were that dumb in 2008, so anything is possible.

I’ve never been to Delaware and don’t know the people there…and I also don’t know who else is on the ballot or if there are major initiatives underway there that would drive people out with some level of excitement.  Assuming Delaware is not anomalous to the rest of the nation, and assuming voters are going to be shellacking Democrats in Delaware at the same level they’re going to be punishing the last two years’ of arrogance nationally, then I just don’t understand the scenario where voters cast ballots against Democrats in other races but then go ahead and vote for Coons for Senate.

That really makes no sense.

Are Democrats just counting on voter muscle memory to pull those levers for Coons?  Is that the point in personally attacking O’Donnell with the Alinsky ridicule ray?  The thinking might be that if Democrats can make O’Donnell into a joke, then even though Coons is unappealing voters will just pull his lever because there’s a (D) on it and that’s what they’ve always done.

But, I’m living proof — after voting straight ticket Democrat until 2008 — that people CAN overcome that muscle memory.

And I think that even though Democrats are succeeding in maligning O’Donnell, those that stare at the ballot and get into that cliche “lesser of two evils” mindset might just pull the (R) lever for a change…because I can’t imagine the people of Delaware are any happier about the course of the country than I am…and Democrats are surely to blame for this.

I really want to sit down and watch the O’Donnell-Coons debate so if anyone has a link to an archive of it, please share in the thread below.  The little clips I’ve seen and the transcripts I’ve read show a strong performance by O’Donnell…and a weird strategy by Coons to demean his opponent, apparently with the help of CNN (which, I’m told, cut away from the debate when O’Donnell was scoring major points…though CSPAN covered the whole thing without interruption).

Angle-Reid Debate Tonight in Las Vegas

Posted at October 14, 2010 by Kevin DuJan // Hillbuzz

Sharon Angle and Harry Reid debate tonight in Las Vegas.

I’d love to watch and live blog this one too, so if you get a link for the debate, please add it to this thread.

What are the big issues in Nevada that you think will be covered in the debate?

This should be an exciting one because Harry Reid is personally responsible for so much of what’s wrong with the country currently — and I’ve never seen Angle in action but I hope she really pummels him for it.
