Chicago Tribune says health costs to go up at least 12% in 2011

Posted at September 26, 2010 by HillBuzz // Hillbuzz

This is interesting, because we ran a post below asking if your health costs have already gone up, and then we noticed this article over on the Tribune’s site about insurance premiums expected to increase 12% in 2011.

If we understand the article correctly, this means that whatever has happened to you already, expect a 12% increase ON TOP OF THAT to happen in 2011.

Here’s our gut take on all of this, and it spells doom for Democrats in 2012 because we don’t see a scenario where prices fall back down to pre-Obamacare levels no matter what happens in the next two years:

(1) Democrats have no idea the damage they did to their party on Christmas Eve in 2009, when every Democrat in the Senate voted for Obamacare without reading the bill, or even understanding what was in it.

(2) Currently, support for Democrats is at historically-low numbers.

(3) Many people have not yet noticed the increases in their health insurance, and some employers are still in wait-and-see mode with all of this, with insurance companies still going through the bureaucratic motions and panel reviews to decide what their rates will ultimately be.  Since there is 2,000 pages of legislation in the Obamacare bill, and the authors of this disaster didn’t understand its impact on the health industry, everything is still up in the air in terms of what this is all going to mean for families’ bottom lines.

(4) Some time in 2011, at least by the summer we believe, people are going to more or less know how much Obamacare has cost them, and they should start to see the first signs of rationing and government intrusion impacting their daily lives.  They are not going to like any of this, and Democrats are going to hear it from the public.

(5) In early 2012, we imagine premiums will increase again, as the chaos Obamacare has unleashed on the nation really takes hold, and an increasing number of companies decide to cancel their employees’ insurance because it’s actually cheaper to pay the $2,000/person penalty than it is to privately insure their people.  This means insurance companies will have to further raise their rates for those still in the programs, to make up for the loss of revenue from all those canceled policies.

(6) Going into the 2012 presidential election, Democrats are going to have to face an angry sea of voters who are paying hundreds of dollars more a month for insurance, if they still have it, while receiving less benefits and services because of rationing.  They are not going to be able to run away from Obamacare and pretend it doesn’t exist because by this time there will be many sensational stories about people in America being denied treatment or access to doctors because of Obamacare’s effects.

Democrats are tricky, and adept at manufacturing crises to distract voters…so MAYBE they’ll come up with something to make the public forget about its Obamacare anger.

We highly doubt that, though.  And we don’t think Democrats can pull any trick that will mitigate the damage done to the party on December 24th, 2009.

The unmitigated, permanent, party-destroying damage of bad legislation rammed through in the dead of night without any Democrat Senators reading a single word of it.

Class vs. Crass Brainstorming: Who should be next, and what contrast should be made?

Posted at September 26, 2010 by HillBuzz // Class vs Crass, Featured Content, Hillbuzz

What are some things Michelle Antoinette’s been up to in the news lately that you’d like to see contrasted with behavior from former First Spouses…and which previous occupant of the White House would be the best example for Michelle Antoinette to follow in that area?

Off the top of our heads:

(1) The spare-no-expense extravagance of Michelle Antoinette’s $1 million vacation in Spain, at a time when many Americans consider macaroni and cheese to be a fancy, all they can afford dinner?

(2) Michelle’s “look at me” gifts to UN dignitaries of Longaberger baskets stuffed with pickled okra, in jars with her autograph printed on them, with silver tags on the baskets that said “Made especially for Michelle Obama” in contrast with presents other First Spouses gave that had deeper meaning with less emphasis on the particular First Spouse’s own name and brand.

(3) Michelle finding the time to attend church for only the 6th time since moving into the White House

(4) Your call…what’s something the current First Spouse did in recent weeks that caught your attention disapprovingly?

Which former First Spouse (or even a First Spouse from fiction, or a First Spouse from another country) would be a good contrast for Michelle Antoinette for whatever issue you want to highlight?

Choose one from below, or write in an idea of your own to give Chrissy-the-Hyphenated some inspiration:

QUESTION: Have your insurance premiums already gone up, or do you know of people whose premiums have gone up?

Posted at September 26, 2010 by HillBuzz // Hillbuzz

None of us here have health insurance, because as freelancers we don’t have employers who would offer us plans…and as freelancers, it’s never been affordable for us to get insurance.

Once, a few years back, one of us priced it out and it would have been something ridiculous like $300 a month or so…and that’s just not money we have in the Obamaconomy to put into the kitty for others out there to have treatments they want.  As guys who are healthy, have no chronic problems, and never need a doctor, it’s more cost-effective for us to just save up a little emergency fund of our own and have that ready in case we ever have some kind of emergency.

Now, talk to us if we’d ever have families, and we guarantee we’d have our children insured to the hilt…because as dads we’d have to take responsibility for someone else, and no matter how much it cost we’d make sure those kids had everything they needed, just in case.

With nobody depending on us, though, besides ourselves, and money really tough to come by, we’re happy with our decision to not have any sort of insurance and are perfectly willing to prepare for the consequences of that.  And it is our damn Constitutional right to do so.

We are curious, though, what all of you are noticing with your insurance premiums.  Have yours, or those of people you know, risen recently in response to Obamacare?

We actually know people who work in the medical industry who are waiting to see what happens November 2nd.  If Democrats are not removed from power, these medical professionals are going to start closing down their practices and head towards retirement.  The people we know are in their late 40s/early 50s.  They don’t want to keep doing what they are doing if it means taking on patients who won’t be able to pay them enough to break even, let alone make a profit.  Instead of practicing medicine, they are going to pursue other fields with their medical degrees, and get into medical writing, research, and anything that is a steady paycheck not dependent on Obamacare.

HillBuzz is a great learning resource for us that many of you might not realize your important role in.

Through you, we have a chance to see into the lives of thousands of people.  We want to encourage as many of you as possible to chime in on this thread and tell us what you are seeing in terms of insurance premium increases (and the departure of medical professionals from the field) because it’s like us having the ability to interview people all over the country, all at once.  When we read these threads, we learn a great deal about the mood and mindset of the country.

The other day, many of you gave us great insight into parenting and various perceptions in relation to Katy Perry’s appearance on Sesame Street.  That was invaluable, because it’s a peek into worlds we’ll never be a part of or fully understand on our own.

You actually give us more of an understanding for what’s going on in America and what people think than even professional JournoLists (an oxymoron if ever there was one) receive doing their own work.

Like all these bees coming back to a hive and serving up information instead of pollen.

What are people coast to coast saying about their health insurance…how do they feel about Obamacare…and are Democrats in big trouble because of what they did on Christmas Eve last year, when they rammed Obamacare through without even reading it?

What think you?

MUST READ: Personal account of why nationwide support needs to pour in for Carl Paladino in New York

Posted at September 26, 2010 by HillBuzz // Hillbuzz

Below, we’ve posted a letter we just received from a reader in New York state, talking about what she calls “The Paladino Phenomenon”.  It’s really a must read, so we hope you take the time to not only invest in what’s below, but also to take a look at Paladino for yourself and think about what you can do to help make him the next Governor of New York:

Dear HillBuzz,

This turned out way different from what I started out to write, or probably what you expected. There are numerous issues and facts I wanted to address, but the more I addressed them, the more I saw it would take a New Yorker type article, which would take a week to do, and I do not have a week to do it (as much as I wish I did). So, this is more of a polemic. Writing this made me appreciate all the more the effort and work you do. I feel so strongly about this election. I cannot imagine how you could use this on your site, and hope you understand the sincerity and appreciation for you I felt in sending it.  – MM

______________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________

There are several facts folks need to know about the Paladino phenomenon, and they are all very personal.

First, folks in New York State are sickened because our children move out of state to find jobs and careers. They are refugees. People’s families are torn apart because of the legalized corruption in New York. The insanely high taxes, the insanely intrusive regulatory atmosphere, the stranglehold of the government unions on our government and, more importantly, on our shoddy schools, drive young folks to places where human beings can live their lives in freedom and prosperity, and simply learn.

Second, politics in New York has been refined to a not so sophisticated insider’s game. There is one party in New York, the Parasite Party, feeding off the ever-dwindling folks who work hard, obey the rules, and want only to raise a family knowing their children can get a good education and have prospects of a better life.

What makes this aspect of the Paladino phenomenon personal is the way the Parasite Party insults and disparages the very folks who pay the bills. The GZ mosque is the perfect example of this fact of New York life. We are talked down to by the Parasites, who call us bigots and intolerant.

Third, New York is colloquially divided into an Upstate v. Downstate perspective. This is off kilter. The real division is between Manhatten, Brooklyn, the Bronx and the rest of the state. Manhattan is the capitol of the world, a treasure chest of immense wealth and immense influence (not to mention, a beautiful, astonishing place, full of wonderful people). The wealth and the influence naturally lead to the domination of all New York State. There is no Columbus balancing Cleveland balancing Cincinnati, no Los Angeles in balance with San Francisco, or Houston with Dallas.

The interests of NYC are not the interests of the rest of the state. Outside NYC, the chief business is agriculture. Buffalo, Rochester, Syracuse, Schenectady, Rome, Utica, are not the centers of manufacturing or technology they once were. They are now struggling populations, asphyxiated with mandates imposed – - but not adequately funded – - by the state. New Yorkers are nickled and dimed to feed the Parasite Party. We are bizarrely divided between those who resent the nickel and diming, and those who are not affected. High taxes and oppressive regulations are irrelevant to a powerful elite who transcend New York State, and to those who contribute little or nothing. The elite dominates, and is indifferent to, the rest of the state, and the rest of the state knows it.

Carl Paladino understands: this is personal, it is not business. The Parasite Party is not good for most New Yorkers. They are the Soviet, and he is Lech Walesa.

For folks in Buffalo, Paladino is primarily familiar because of a series of radio ads he ran over time, at his own expense, addressing the shoddiness of the government schools locally. Paladino took the shocking position that children were being inhumanely deprived of the education they needed to live their lives successfully. His commercials began with the signature word, “HELLO!” He then would state the obvious: failure rates and drop-out rates meant actual human beings were the victims of forces for whom the well-being of the students were a peripheral concern. The implicit premise of his advertisements was this: it is within the power of our community to prepare these human beings for success, but politics is getting in the way.

Hello! Charles Dickens!

I do not know Paladino personally, although I once got a thank you note from him for something I did, something I do not remember. It was a little thing. I remember because the note was nice and thoughtful and unnecessary. I am not, nor have ever been, in a position to affect his life in any manner (nor the opposite).

I do know folks who know Carl Paladino personally. For what it is worth, I trust these folks, trust their judgment, and have no doubt they are accurate. What they say is: Carl is genuine. He is a normal human, and he cares.

He is shrewd, a great organizer, compassionate and a force of nature. He loves liberty. Paladino resonates because he is himself, understands what is going on in New York, and is fearless in saying what others do not have the nerve to say.

Paladino made something of himself. No person fed him with a silver spoon and cleared the path.

This election for governor in New York represents the essence of the Tea Party. As much as it is about taxes and education policy and legal corruption, it is above all about our culture, here in New York and throughout America. Do we have the courage to shatter the mind-control “shut up!” politics of the Left?

Carl Paladino is unlike any other person running for office today. He is totally himself.

What makes him so fascinating, is the question he implicitly throws in the face of the Parasite Party. Is it possible to be yourself, to speak your mind, and run for office with any prospect to win?

Leftists rely upon intimidation and manipulation designed to have folks not be themselves. They rely on Shut Up.

It takes bravery and courage to confront Pravda and Patrice Lumumba University, the powerful would-be arbiters of our consciousness.

Sarah Palin is the only other person so ably demonstrating exactly what Paladino is doing (well, ok, Christie). The other Tea Party folks are wonderful, they are great, but they do not have the exact personality (like Sarah) – - a personality which is a gift of life – - the blunt ability to confront the Shut Up culture.

Here is the secret of Sarah and Paladino. They are William Buckley, folks who see things as they are, who are willing to sacrifice themselves, and who love their fellow human beings so much, they dare to be themselves.

This year, Paladino is the only one up for election who is absolutely Lech Walesa. His election is the symbol of whether we keep our republic.

Click to embiggen.

From what I’ve seen and read, the GOP in New York is wide open for true conservatives to TAKE OVER. Yes, the state is a mess. But we have one BIG advantage in that there appears to be little or no cuke and mayo RINO establishment here.

I don’t care if the very thought of affiliating yourself with the word Republican makes you break out in hives. Third parties are for fools and the Democrats here are a lost cause.

So if you live in New York State and have ANYTHING to offer … even small jobs like delivering lawn signs … find your local GOP and volunteer. Hubby Dearest did it here a few years back and found the committee nearly DEAD. His enthusiasm helped revitalize the committee, then this year, he was elected to the county committee that helped vet and endorse actual candidates.

THAT’s where we want real conservatives to be. Not on the outside griping about how the party doesn’t give us good candidates whine whine. INSIDE making it happen.

ACTION ITEM: Seek out three Liberals you know and check in with how they are feeling about Democrats right now

Posted at September 26, 2010 by HillBuzz // Hillbuzz

This will be harder for some of you to pull off than others, but we want you to see if you can strike up conversations with known Liberals and flesh out how they feel about the Democrat Party right now.

Try to get the opinions of three Liberals, at least.

This will be an ongoing project up through the elections in the fall…our little attempt to get a big picture on what the Democrat Party is facing at the moment.

Is the 2008 Obama Kool-Aid still strong in these people, or have they turned on their new god and his party?

Here in Chicago, we have identified three separate classes of these Liberals so far, based on their allegiance to Obama and how deep the sank into his cult of personality:

(1) Low level cultists = are the most vocal in their displeasure of what’s been going on.  They’re the ones who are asking where the jobs are, where the recovery is, what good the stimulus did, etc. These are the people who may not admit Obama is a complete failure, but WILL admit that Democrats shouldn’t be in charge of Congress and the White House at the same time.  They might never vote Republican, but they will be sitting out election day or throwing their votes away on third party crazy candidates. They seem to be in the Anger stage on the Kubler Ross scale, in terms of dealing with the colossal mistake they made in 2008.

(2) Medium level cultists = have not progressed beyond the Denial stage on the Kubler Ross scale.  They are most likely to say things like “Obama’s doing the best he can, but he just hasn’t had enough time yet” or blame Republicans for standing in Obama’s way (in the face of the reality that Obama’s had strong majorities in both the House and the Senate which mean Republicans can’t do anything to stop Republicans from doing anything). They refuse to see reality, and aren’t anywhere near ready to break the hold the Democrat party has always held on them.  They are blind Democrat voters, and while they can’t crow about any successes for this administration, they refuse to own up to the failures. They are going to turn out to vote like they always do, and will vote Democrat no matter what.

(2) High level cultists = become instantly irrational, emotional, and rattled when anything remotely related to current events, politics, or the news is discussed.  Obama is a major sore point for them, because they believed in him with their whole hearts and are the most crushed by his failed presidency.  These are the same sorts of people who would have crushed on Milli Vanilli in the 80s, screaming and yelling if anyone accused them of being lip-synchers because they wanted to believe Rob and Fab were the real deal.  When Milli Vanilli were busted and exposed, these rabid fans got very agitated whenever people talked about them, walking out of a room in a rage of frustration and hurt instead of dealing with the fact they were dead wrong about these guys. We don’t expect these people to vote in November, and they might not even show up to vote for Obama in 2012 either…though they won’t admit it.  They’ll just stay home and pout instead of going to vote against him.

In Boystown, we encounter mainly medium and high level cultists.

Democrats have lost the low-level people this year…and we think they’re lost for 2012 too.  They’ve also lost the high-level cultists, who are the emotionally unstable Leftists who are seething with all sorts of rage they can’t really process.  At their core, they know the Left has failed them, broken all its promises, and does not belong in power.  But, these people won’t admit this — ever.  They’ll just find something else to do on election day, but will wail against the Republicans and direct their hatred at conservatives…instead of focusing that hate on their real enemies, which is the Left itself (the ones who disappoint them and break their hearts).

How have the Liberals you know been behaving?

What has their tone sounded like to you?

What things have they been saying?

How pumped up are they to not only vote, but to work difficult GOTV operations for the fall?

We need you to become little bees in your own part of the country to gather this intel and the buzz back here and share it…because this insight into the Liberal mind is something we all know full well the national media won’t ever provide.

ARTISTS NEEDED: Help storyboard a Ground Zero Victory Mosque commercial for Carl Paladino

Posted at September 26, 2010 by HillBuzz // Hillbuzz

Here’s the idea we have for a commercial for Carl Paladino, who is running for Governor in New York and is a strong and vocal opponent of Islam’s plan to build a Victory Mosque at Ground Zero.

Republicans, particularly the Cocktail Party GOP establishment, have traditionally been skittish about taking on the Left over something like this Ground Zero Victory Mosque.  That’s because Republicans have been operating under the delusion that if they will only be as meek and wimpy as possible, that the media will then love them and shower them with praise.

The mental illness the media has drilled into Republicans is this:  the only way you win is by being Democrat-lite, and by keeping your mouth shut, and by never doing anything that will give the Left license to call you names…but they’ll just call you names anyway, so really, what you do doesn’t matter.

Here’s where things are in New York, based on everything we are hearing from people on the ground throughout the state:

(1) New Yorkers are angry about this Ground Zero Victory Mosque and don’t want it built

(2) New Yorkers are angry with Democrats for backing this Ground Zero Victory Mosque

(3) Republicans are afraid of speaking out against the Ground Zero Victory Mosque because Cocktail Party GOP advisors and pollsters keep telling Republican candidates they need to be as meek and cucumbers-and-mayonnaise covered as possible.  ”We can’t have any spicy sandwiches in this cocktail party.  It gives our tummies uh-ohs”.

(4) New Yorkers WANT someone to take to the airwaves and denounce Democrats for supporting the Ground Zero Victory Mosque. They are waiting to express their anger at Democrats for being behind this.  If Republicans don’t tap into this, they are missing a golden opportunity to turn New York red this fall.

Please read our treatment for a Carl Paladino commercial on this Ground Zero Victory Mosque.

The next thing we need is to storyboard this out.

Does anyone have any experience doing this?

Let’s use this not only as an opportunity to help Carl Paladino in New York, but also to learn how to put together a political commercial.  After it’s storyboarded out, we can send the script and images to Paladino’s campaign and urge him to make something similar to unleash upon Democrats in this closing month before the election.

If we work together as a team on this, and it’s successful, maybe we’ve found a new way to affect other races like this coast to coast.

How about it?

About that video of Obama with the burly, big Chicago investment banking man

Posted at September 26, 2010 by HillBuzz // Hillbuzz

We actually never know what’s going to end up being a big story in a given week.

Sometimes, something we comment on gets picked up on in all sorts of things, and it might have been a throwaway comment on our part, or something we just assume the rest of the world knew and was already well-versed in.

This is what’s happened in the last few days regarding the above video, as posted by MOTUS over at www.Michellesmirror.com.

The man in the video is Gregory Dingens, who is a partner at the investment banking firm Monroe Securities.  He played football at Notre Dame before going on to Harvard Law School, where apparently he knew one or both of the Obamas while he was there.

There are a lot of things that are so very strange about this video, to anyone who has spent any amount of time at a political event…or here in Boystown.

First off, Obama gets that look on his face when he sees Greggors (as MOTUS calls him) that we’ve only seen on Obama a few times:  when he was around Kal Penn (before they broke up and Penn was forced to leave his job at the White House), whenever he played basketball with Reggie Love (which, after the ugly breakup with Penn, the press doesn’t seem interested in covering anymore…though if you watch closely, Love is in the video above…he’s Obama’s “body man” and shows up to either give something or take something from Greggors at one point), or whenever he’s recently been around or talking about Justin Beiber.  There is a genuine, real, happiness in his face that’s a contrast to the sour petulance and disdain he normally wears.

We have no idea what sort of relationship Obama had with Greggors in school, but it’s bizarre to us that we’ve never seen or heard of this man until the MOTUS video, because Obama is quite enamored with him. Where was this guy during the campaign, when Obama had absolutely no friends (either from his adult life, or when he was in school) speaking up for him?  Working for the Hillary Clinton campaign here in Chicago, Hillary’s friends dating back to grade school were regularly at events, working as surrogate speakers for her, hosting fundraisers and other events, etc.

Obama never had any personal friends stand up for him, speak out for him, or do any sort of press that we were ever aware of.  He certainly never had any former girlfriends come forward, either at events, or in the press in general.  It’s like he never dated anyone until Michelle. Any women, anyway.

It was so strange, in fact, that people constantly commented on it at all of our Hillary events whenever her friends from all the way back to kindergarten worked the room at a Debate Watch party, a phone bank, or a Primary Results celebration.  ”Why doesn’t Obama have any of his friends at anything?” was a very common question.  The answer seemed to be that the guy doesn’t have very many friends. “Where are his old girlfriends from high school and college, before Michelle?”.  Crickets chirping in the night.

It seemed to anyone paying attention that Obama didn’t seem to much like people — at least not the ones who’d be politically advantageous to have showing their faces in public.

This was something that was confirmed by those who knew him as a state senator down in Springfield from 1996-2004.

Have you ever watched the TV show Dexter?  Michael C. Hall plays a sociopath whose father recognized his problems very early in life and taught him how to wear a mask and go through the motions of being human.  Dexter, on TV, doesn’t like going to parties, doesn’t like bowling, doesn’t want to have a beer with the guys after work, but he does the bare minimum of these socially-required activities so that people don’t suspect he’s really a monster inside.

That’s exactly how Obama was always described in Springfield.

Legislators had regular poker games, and Obama would show up and play a few hands.  He’d also do the required “guy talk” and complain about what a “ball-buster” (his words) his wife Michelle was, because the other guys complained about their wives.  He’d smoke like a chimney but would nurse a single beer because he’s evidently not much of a drinker…but he still felt the need to have that bottle in front of him so he would fit in and gain the acceptance of those at the game.  It didn’t seem like really had any fun or enjoyed himself, but this is something he did because he wanted to get ahead…much like Dexter does what Dexter needs to do so that no one figures out who he really is inside.

The Greggors video MOTUS posted is of a completely different person than what we’re used to seeing from Obama.  He is really and truly enjoying putting his hand on Greggors shoulder, very affectionately, and loves every second of being in his company.  It’s almost like he NEEDED this encounter and was relishing being near this man.

It’s really strange when you think about how many very attractive and burly men Obama is constantly surrounded by.  His Secret Service detail has some very attractive guys in it.  Normally, the presidential detail includes the very best, most physically-fit, and usually the very best looking agents the SS has.  Obama gets to ride around in a limousine with these guys all day, flies around on a plane with them, and has them no more than five feet away from him at all times for the entirety of the day.

So, it’s strange for him to be so excited touching Greggors.  He looks like he’s been on a ship for years and this is finally his shore leave…like Fleet Week in Chelsea.

Why is that?

And why is he spending so much time with this man in a rope line, when there are many people who clearly want to meet him and have their pictures taken with him?

We’ve seen many politicians very close up at events, and we spent a good stretch in 2008 seeing Hillary Clinton at events every day, sometimes two or three times a day, working the crowd.  Hillary, as we said above, always had numerous friends at her events, and when she’d see them in the rope line she’d give them a big hug, greet them warmly, exchange a few words, but then return to working the room to get through all the people who wanted to see her.  Every politician and celebrity we’ve ever seen in a crowd like this, even at a private event like the one the video was filmed at, behaves the way Hillary Clinton always did.  We have never, EVER, seen one of these people become so fixated on one man the way Obama was with Greggors.

It really was a sort of “The Way We Were” moment, like the two of them were standing alone together, in front of the Plaza Hotel, with yellow cabs passing by just out of frame, the whole world boiled down to the two of them together, reunited unexpectedly, at least one of them lost in memories of what they once shared.

You can’t see Greggors’ face, but from his stocky body language and the flush of blood to the back of his neck, he’s smiling big, lost in the moment as well…but it too seems strange compared to the people around him.  The others in the crowd are excited to meet the president too.  There’s a very New York-looking woman with dark hair who gets a picture in with Obama, and she’s smiling broadly, and having the time of her life, so excited (bless her heart), but even she’s not walking around in a cotton candy cloud the way Greggors is.

Honestly, this is how two guys behave when they meet at a bar in Boystown and the chemistry clicks between them.  That’s the only time we’ve ever seen two men stand there like this, for over four minutes, just sort of lost in each other’s auras.

At around the two minute mark, it’s actually uncomfortable to keep watching because the way the two are behaving makes us feel like voyeurs catching a very private moment, in public, between these two men.  They touch each other lovingly. Obama looks directly in Greggors’ eyes, and he looks in his, and they trade quick, nervous smiles, with Obama several times licking and almost biting his lip.  Greggors blushes, gets sweaty and nervous himself, and there’s a part of our brains that wants to shout JUST KISS ALREADY.

We have no idea what this was about.

Sure is interesting though.

And truly bizarre because Michelle Antoinette looked GORGEOUS that night in her red dress, with her makeup done professionally, one of her nicest wigs styled beautifully…so if there was any night for this particular happily married man to be doing to his own wife what he was doing to Greggors, it would have been THAT NIGHT. Yet, there she was, just a few feet away, but the woman might as well have been in Siberia.

While her husband was just a boy, standing in front of another boy, ripping off the bookstore scene from Notting Hill.

UPDATE: We should have thought of this right off the bat, but someone in comments mentioned Obama probably knowing Greggors from a health club.

That makes a lot of sense.

Obama was a regular at the East Bank Club, which is a very expensive, very restricted (have to be sponsored to join), health club in downtown Chicago where very rich, very politically-connected people are members.

Remember when we tried to get candidate Obama to march in the Chicago Gay Pride Parade on June 29th, 2008 — and he refused?  Instead, on that Sunday, he got a haircut on the Southside and then headed to the East Bank Club “to play basketball with some guys”.  After that, he had a long steam and shower in the locker room…with guys who look and seem very much like Greggors in that video.

We bet there’s a 90% possibility that Greggors is, in fact, one of Obama’s locker room buddies from the East Bank Club.  That fits so perfectly with why he’d get such a warm, affectionate reaction from Obama in Washington, DC.  It was a little bit of his favorite part of Chicago turning up as a surprise now that he’s in Washington.

As president, we bet he really misses the ability to hang out naked like that with all those guys, no bodyguards, hell, not even a towel if he didn’t want one.  He will never again be able to get up to whatever he used to do at the East Bank Club that was so important he couldn’t pull himself away to march in the Gay Pride Parade.

That’s pretty tragic…for someone who seemed to love those hijinks more than anything…so that really does explain a lot of the weird joy and affection Obama has for Greggors.

UPDATE: Here’s a great video showing Obama touching all sorts of men inappropriately.  He’s like something out of a Tyler Perry movie (written by Tyler Perry, directed by Tyler Perry, produced by Tyler Perry, and featuring Tyler Perry in the role of Michelle):

UPDATE: The Bad Touch

UPDATE: We found Gregory Dingens’ (Greggors) Notre Dame yearbook photo.  We don’t know the man, but he’s got gayface at least as bad as, if not worse than, Lindsey Graham and Mark Kirk, that’s for sure.

How good are you at spotting gayface?

Here are some classic examples of “gayface”:

Greggors and Lindsey Graham look kind of related, actually.  They have the same eyebrows and smile.
