Lt. Colonel Allen West should be on TV 25 hours a day

Posted at September 15, 2010 by HillBuzz // Hillbuzz

Really, this man needs no input from us.

He says it like it is, and it’s music to our ears.

West is the best.

Last night was a major volley in a glorious battle between "The Cocktail Party" vs. "The Tea Party", which Romney Republican Rinos will LOSE

Posted at September 15, 2010 by HillBuzz // Hillbuzz

Last night, I had dinner with a wonderful friend and we got news of Christine O’Donnell’s win just as the check arrived.

Somehow in our conversation, I realized the GOP Establishment can very rightly be referred to as “The Cocktail Party”, because this is where these Romney Republicans love to spend the majority of their time. They wear their fanciest suits. They sip their Jameson on the rocks and angle forever to get in just the right photos with just the right people that will enhance their resumes, raise their Q ratings, and get them promoted to bigger jobs where they can be invited to even BETTER cocktail parties.

The more media attention they get, the more applause they receive for being “bipartisan”, the better their career trajectories. Hell, if they bend over enough, if they do whatever the media (and, by extension) Democrats want them to do, they might even get asked to SPEAK at the next cocktail party…and share the stage with the likes of Mark Kirk, Olympia Snowe, Susan Collins, Lindsey Graham, and maybe even MITTENS ROMNEY himself.

Somebody pass the smelling salts, because Kirk, at least, is liable to get the vapours.

“The Cocktail Party” that is the GOP establishment is more insidious and dangerous than the actual Democrat Party. “The Cocktail Party” are ambitious social climbers who have masquerading as Republicans, particularly in urban centers, because they saw that in a two-party system they could either try to gain power and wealth the hardscrabble way, competing against all those Democrats for those positions, or they could just put an (R) after their names and take the gilded staircase up to the VIP suite…since there was a dearth of people willing to fill those slots on the GOP side.

They got to be big fishies in smaller ponds, but with many more opportunities to serve as bloated koi in whatever photo ops and stage productions the GOP needed in places like Chicago.

All these people care about is their own personal power — and in cases like Lisa Murkowski in Alaska, even when defeated they cling kicking and screaming to that power because they refuse to go back to being “just one of the public”.

“I’ve been invited to the Committeeman’s dinner every year now for the last 20 years! They’re going to have bacon-wrapped-shrimp there! It’s an open bar! What do you mean I can’t be Committeeman anymore because I don’t do anything? I COME TO ALL THE PARTIES!”

If you lived in Chicago, and had any dealings at all with the Cook County GOP under Chairman Lee Roupas, you would know the quote above could have been said by any number of these Cocktail Party Romney Republicans.

Between now and 2012, as many of these people as possible need to be purged from their positions across the country.

Tea Party members need to challenged ALL of these cucumber-and-mayonnaise sandwiches establishment guys and defeat them.

Mittens Romney is already using these Lee Roupas-grade Cocktail Party people to serve as his pre-announcement early effort 2012 ground team. It is their intent to make Romney the “it’s his turn” GOP nominee in 2012…because that’s what these people have done time and again in the past.

They keep running losers like Mittens in general elections because Mittens invited them to all the best parties. He printed their name in flyers. He stood on a podium and said their names aloud at events and everyone applauded them. So, they got to be big pooh-bahs and they don’t want either the pooing or the bahing to ever end.

Well, folks, it needs to end.

The Republican Party needs to become a strong alternative to the awful things Democrats are doing under Leftist control.

America can’t afford any more cocktail parties (not matter how much Fran Eaton at Illinois Review wants to stuff all that shrimp in her purse for later…or how she’ll, yet again, try to eat TWO dinners at one of those banquets, claiming the person next to her “doesn’t want theirs” when really he’s just gone to the bathroom…which we saw her do on TWO separate occasions).

We hope what happened to Mike Castle yesterday happens to Lindsey Graham, Susan Collins, and Olympia Snowe as soon as possible.

Mark Kirk, who is running for Senate here in Illinois, was the establishment Cocktail Party Romney Republican run in this election. He’s a bad person who will vote however Democrats want him to vote…and there’s nothing anyone can do about this now. It would have been a dream if he had been taken out in the primary, but voters are stuck with a choice between him and Democrat Alexi Giannoulias.

The sad thing is, no matter who wins in Illinois, Democrats will control this seat. You are fooling only yourself if you say Kirk will vote in the best interests of the state. He’s going to vote the way that gets him invited to all the best parties, gets him the most media fawning, and puts him in a position to ogle the cutest, tightest-bottomed, waiters and bartenders.

Let’s all just promise to work hard to make sure that Mark Kirk is the very last of his kind in the Senate, should he win. The last closeted gay Republican to be sent to Washington to be blackmailed by Democrats, and the last Cocktail Party Romney Republican to run for office with a Democrat’s heart but with a shabby (R) scotch-taped to his forehead, fooling no one.
