“People are claiming Sarah Palin is a polarizing figure,” says SarahPAC staffer Rebecca Mansour. “I laugh because we are in the process of electing numerous candidates just like Sarah Palin. We are about to elect dozens of Sarah Palins so polarize that.”

I LOVE that picture of Sarah!

The Original.

What! A! Woman!
The world needs more like her!
(A lot of the “men” in our current congress could take a lesson on guts from Mrs. Thatcher.)
July 31, 2010 at 4:56 pm
Bravo, Baroness Thatcher! Bravo!
August 1, 2010 at 2:30 pm
You can tell by this video what a Prime Minister really is. A representative of the real power: the Monarchy. God bless this woman but the Bitish system is so out of date.

So nice to see my graphic getting good use!
Meanwhile, Sarah’s so polarizing the Washington Post is running a Palin Endorsement Tracker page. http://bit.ly/ab0T5Q
http://twitter.com/debsinger2
July 30, 2010 at 9:09 am
The WaPo? Wow!
All twelve of their readers are really upset, judging by the vile comments. Some are even speculating that the ‘tracker page’ must have been the brainchild of some of the JournoListers! IOW, NOT their beloved WaPo itself. LOL!
What a bunch of LOOOOSERS!
Go, Sarah! You’re driving them crazy by just existing!!!
Just for fun, I’m posting her new book cover again, because it’s just inspiring:

Very nice picture of Sarah.

I used your photo here:

Thanks for the great work!
July 30, 2010 at 8:44 am
Dr. Utopia is the most polarizing POTUS is recent history, and they’re pushing the meme that Sarah is polarizing?? LOL!
July 30, 2010 at 9:18 am
Too bad that there is not another word other than “polarizing” that can be used for Obama that would represent the flames of hell rather than the ice of the Artic which I find totally appropriate for Sarah.
July 30, 2010 at 4:44 pm
Yes, the Dumbs are a rather ironic group, aren’t they?
July 30, 2010 at 9:00 am
Thank you Hillbuzz for helping the Palin people. Really, this is all you! Our side is becoming more savvy b/c of your input.
However, they are smart enough to pay attention. This can’t be said for Republicans, so they also deserve credit for being open enough to take your advice.
July 30, 2010 at 9:01 am
I meant to say: This can’t be said for all Republicans ….
July 30, 2010 at 9:05 am
Also, some people on the right (such as Allahpundit) say that Palin only plays in the South. Really? She just endorsed a candidate in NH, and two in NY (one on Staten Island). Plus, these candidates are seeking her support, not the other way around.
I’m so tired of these old memes. They are useless and based in no fact whatsoever. After all, she polled ahead of all the candidates in PA for the primary. Its getting tiresome.
July 30, 2010 at 9:13 am
They think she’s polarizing NOW???
Baby, they ain’t seen nothin’ yet!
Just wait until she goes to AZ and meets up with Governor Brewer.
Between those two MamaGrizzlies, they’re going to stir up such a stink BO’s big dumbo ears will be seared down to stumps!
Go, Sarah!
July 30, 2010 at 10:37 am
Bijou, that is giggle snort funny! That would take a whole lot to seat those ears down to stumps.
July 30, 2010 at 8:29 pm
I wonder how long it’ll take d’ohbama to make a “run for the border” after Palin and Brewer appear there.
I’m betting that he’ll *suddenly* find time in his busy schedule for a quick trip. (and a photo op of him looking all “concerned”)
August 1, 2010 at 3:42 pm
I don’t know about O, but I’m sure Romney is firing up the private jet now.
July 30, 2010 at 9:30 am
So tired of people making fun of Sarah!
Last night at Borders, I saw a calendar that poked fun.
Let’s just say, no one is going to buy that calendar because I made sure no one is going to find it!
July 30, 2010 at 9:54 am
Good girl! I’ve made a vow that anytime, anywhere someone makes an anti-Palin remark, I’m shutting them up.
You can make it, but you’ll know where I stand after you do.
July 31, 2010 at 2:45 pm
This is how I shut people up when they say something about Sarah:
“Stop showing everyone your biased ignorance”. They just stare at me and say nothing.
July 30, 2010 at 9:57 am
love it ;)
July 30, 2010 at 3:45 pm
I do not usually tell this, but when no one is looking, I turn around all magazines with BO’s or MO’s pictures on the front. It is such a little thing, but it sure makes me feel good. Guess I am just a shallow person at heart.
July 30, 2010 at 4:03 pm
No, you’re just a horrible Raycist. The left says so. Ignore the way they freak out when forced to sit next to one on public transit. :-)

Solarotov, that’s HILARIOUS!
Notice how he fits in just effortlessly with those ‘feminine’ products. ROFLMAO!
July 30, 2010 at 9:36 am
She isn’t polarizing. She stands for her beliefs. She makes it so very clear what she stands and her record supports it that people either agree or disagree with her. She is decisive and clear.
Unlike the rest of the politicos that intentionally muddy the waters on their views to confuse people. They say one thing at one location, something else at another, and vote something entirely different. Of course they can’t be polarizing because no one is quite sure of what they stand for.
July 30, 2010 at 11:00 am
What you’ve described here about Palin is the very definition of polarizing — making the difference between two things crystal clear. The trick is to make people see that to be “polarizing” is a good thing.
July 30, 2010 at 4:29 pm
Wikipedia describes political polarization as taking the extremes. I do not agree that Sarah’s views are extreme. In fact, her record strongly supports libertarian conservatism or center politics. People still either agree or disagree and she doesn’t muddy the waters.
What I believe is that she is crystal clear with people in what she believes and where she stands. If one is honest, it isn’t on either extreme of the spectrum and that is what scares the s#!% out of the left.
Hence why I said she is clear and decisive but not polarizing. She isn’t extreme (not that the left isn’t selling that) but her record stands on its own.
She keeps telling everyone to look at her record. Both the left and the far right would be shocked at how inaccurate they both portray her.
She puts fiscal above social every time. She is fiscally conservative but socially moderate to liberal. Regardless of her personal views, look at how she governed. That is what she keeps telling people.
She would unite this country if we the people could be more honest about her. She isn’t the polarizing person, we are. She is just clear.
July 30, 2010 at 3:26 pm
Please, more anti Palin media! The more anti Palin media the more popular she gets. Please keep o talking about Sarah Palin. She will reach 3 millions Facebook followers in no time.
July 30, 2010 at 9:37 am
Things are definitely heating up. The left knows the end is near and they’ve turned up the heat. I am proud to see the right standing up and fighting back.
The news media is going on the attack and doubling up their disinformation. We have to push back and call them out! We have to counter those trolls!
This is NOT the time to cower or fear the left. They are overwhelmingly down in the polls. If the elections were held today it would be a complete LANDSLIDE. Do NOT let the left convince you otherwise!
It’s going to get more intense every day until the elections. 95 days!!! We can do it and we WILL do it!
July 30, 2010 at 10:42 am
I’m with ya Bev, they are trying to discourage us in the hope that we will get discouraged and not vote. Whar we need to do is let them know that too many people fought and died for our right to vote, and we will honor them with our vote, even if our candidate loses…which they will not!
July 30, 2010 at 12:17 pm
It’s going to be a mind game for the next 95 days. They are coming out hard in the media trying to discourage people. We can’t let them do that. They are losing BIG in the polls.
July 30, 2010 at 3:20 pm
So right.
Remember Nietzche’s admonishment:
“A very popular error — having the courage of one’s convictions; Rather, it is a matter of having the courage for an attack upon one’s convictions.”
July 30, 2010 at 9:54 am
I love that picture!
Recently there were some pictures of Palin fishing and there was a bear on the bank. What was really funny were some of the comments that declared she had staged the thing for a photo op. I was LMAO! If this woman can stand up in a boat while going down a river and give stage directions to a wild bear, well, that’s who should be leader of the free world.
July 30, 2010 at 9:59 am
can you post links to the pics. THOSE with you comment above make for great selling points.

Geesh.. Sarah Palin is so cool.
Look at her gorgeous husband and cute little Piper.
July 30, 2010 at 11:53 am
They are a really good looking couple, aren’t they? That is authentic beauty, the kind that comes from inside. There is nothing pretentious about Sarah or Todd Palin.
July 30, 2010 at 10:21 am
Staged? The ones saying that must be confusing that scene with what probably goes on in the White House when Ø and Rahm strike poses — or … ? — in the bear suits they have hidden away in the inner recesses of their closets.
Miss Hell may have an animal suit too stashed away, come to think of it, but in her case it’s probably not ursine.
July 30, 2010 at 11:23 am
I’m guessing it’s human?
July 30, 2010 at 11:27 am
No, in MOOchelle’s case I suspect it’s modelled after a common creature of the barnyard.
July 30, 2010 at 9:23 pm
well, after all . . . some animals are more equal than others
July 30, 2010 at 10:13 am
You guys are going to have to create some sidebar bling for when we get closer to the election.
July 30, 2010 at 11:11 am
“We are about to elect dozens of Sarah Palins so polarize that.”
When I think about how liberal women whimpered and hid under their bedsheets when people accused Hillary of being “polarizing,” and now I see conservative women flipping people off for making comments like that about Sarah, it makes me angry about 2008 all over again. Insinuate that a liberal woman might be a hairy-legged, polarizing meany, and she crumbles. Insinuate that a conservative woman might be a hairy-legged polarizing meany, and she kicks your ass.

You betcha’ Janis. Right Wing Women Rock!
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Df6-RlQmu4o
July 30, 2010 at 11:24 am
Exactly! Pioneer feminists. They were women who could shoot supper, make a quilt, cook soap, help the neighbor lady through birthin’ and STILL know how to dress up pretty for church on Sunday. The were good women, good mothers, good wives and most of all, good people.
For liberal feminists it was all or nothing, one excluded the other- Career over kids, self over spouse, female over feminine.
Conservative women got it right about 200 years ago.
July 30, 2010 at 11:30 am
I know what you mean about cooking soap, but I couldn’t help but laugh. Some evenings my kids have given me a look that says they think that’s how I made dinner.
July 30, 2010 at 12:21 pm
Actually, I’ve accidentally stirred something with a spoon that was in the soap pot….so yeah… I get ya.
July 31, 2010 at 4:03 am
I called that “the curly lip” and banned it from the table.
Whenever my kids told me I was the meanest mom in the world, I smiled brightly and said,
“Thank you!”
My sister has a reputation as the meanest teacher in her grade. She says she isn’t there to be friends with the kids, but to educate them.
If she does that better by being what they call “mean”, so be it. Loads of them come back and thank her years later.
July 30, 2010 at 12:00 pm
Frankly, I’ve got more in common with that — career over kids, yep. No kids, no husband, none wanted. Self over spouse? Like I said, no husband, none wanted.
The thing is that is IS the liberal feminists who are choosing feminine over female or who think there is a choice to be made. Why the hell else would they be so terrified that making their own money would make them so unfeminine that they’d have to overcompensate by insisting that they love pole-dancing, fellatio, and knifing other women in the back?
So I’m seeing it a little differently. I’m seeing that the conservative feminists AREN’T terrified of careers and doing for themselves even if hubby throws a fit. It’s the liberal women who feel so insecure about their careers and ambitions that they have to insist that they aren’t manhaters just because they work.
July 30, 2010 at 12:35 pm
I’ve had a run in on a woman’s book forum (or two) that were extremely liberal, though they don’t think they are….they think they’re normal. Smart Bitches being on of the nasty boards (Man Titty anyone?) What you said is true. They’re trying SO hard to prove they aren’t THEIR caricature of a conservative female that they go out of their way to be lewd, crude, rude, mean etc.
However, if you point out ‘their’ bias they get pissy—as in “Why did you bash this book because the woman made her religious beliefs clear in her writing YET you praised another book that was all about her religion?” (the answer being one forbidden religion was Judeo-Christian and the welcomed religion was Native American).
Or a book where the heroine frets about being a bad Mom but still continues to be a bad Mom while persuing her IMPORTANT career as a reporter because ‘reporters are important and they save lives’ (I kid you not) not because she’s trying to keep her kid fed. The drilled home message was ‘Career trumps kid.’
Or worse yet, a woman newly pregnant who insists that the father has no right to comment on her risky physical behavior that might endanger her or the baby. Again, cheered because she was staying tough and not being weak (WTF?!?!)
These books are wallbangers for a conservative female but to the liberal girls, they get squeels and raves….
They excuse bad behavior, either as a mother, or a wife or just a person with “What I’m doing is all about me and therefore is more important than the needs or wellbeing of another.”
Maybe that’s it….the whole point of putting others first or at least knowing WHEN you should put others first is the core of being a conservative woman.
July 30, 2010 at 4:23 pm
I see conservative feminism as being equally respectful of hockey moms and PTO leaders as female CEOs. As long as the choice of lifestyle is made freely by the woman, it shouldn’t be seen as degrading or inferior if the choice is a traditional one. Conservative feminists need to be the ones to recognize that stay-at-home moms are not just mindless bimbos sitting home watching The View.
July 30, 2010 at 5:53 pm
I’m seeing conservative women as less insecure. Conservative women are the ones who don’t feel conflicted about this. I just don’t see them fearing that having a career will make them less cute to boys.
July 31, 2010 at 4:11 am
Insisting that homemaking and child rearing are demeaning is just a UNliberating as insisting they are all that women are fit to do.
Personally, I’m glad that women who haven’t got much maternal instinct aren’t railroaded into those traditional roles.
I do have it, in spades, and I am all for anything that benefits the kids, including women being free to not be moms.
July 31, 2010 at 10:38 am
A-men, Chrissy. Just because I don’t want any babies of my own doesn’t mean I hate the little things. It means I understand what a brutally demanding job it is to manufacture a small human and teach it to grow up to be a decent large one — and I don’t think that job should be done by people who don’t want it. I know how hard my mom worked to raise the three of us and what she sacrificed. One of the biggest pleasures in my life is spoiling the hell out of her, and I can do it because I don’t want kids and hence have the income to spoil her instead. I still remember the thrill I got when I was able to take her on a Mexican cruise, a dream of hers for a long time. And when my mom, this woman who went without medical care, dental care, and lots of small luxuries for herself for decades, said to me over one Christmas vacation, “Honey, I don’t need any more rubies.” I’ve worked my whole life to hear her say that.
So I don’t want kids, but I value family, and I take motherhood seriously. I don’t do it myself, but I saw it done right close-up. Fatherhood, too.
July 31, 2010 at 11:01 am
You know what I think it is now that I think about it? It all comes down to class. For women who were raised spoiled (I’m not going to put it any other way), careers were about “self-actualization” and all that rot. Sure, it’s fulfilling to work hard and get paid for it and see your achievements develop, but it was a hobby for them.
For Sarah and women like her, working wasn’t a right to be fought for. It was what you did to eat. If your husband feels threatened by your job, tough shit — if he wants food on the table, he’ll tolerate you working or else he’ll learn how.
It comes down not to liberal versus conservative, but who grew up spoiled and who didn’t. Upper-class white collar liberal women can afford to whine and pout about their jobs because they ARE luxuries in a world where Daddy makes tons of money. The rest of us don’t get it when women talk about the right to work or how feminism got women out of the kitchen. Excuse me, but the women in MY family ALWAYS worked. That’s how it is in working-class homes, and if hubby resents your raise, hubby can go eat the grass growing out of the sidewalk because the money was needed.
July 30, 2010 at 12:01 pm
In my experience some of the best people have been right wing women. That’s coming from a liberal perspective. We used to pray we’d get the conservative female judge during domestic violence court because she was sure to see through the crap and make sure the victim was protected. No apologies, no blathering on about how the guy just needed a few weeks of therapy or how he had a bad childhood. Safety for the victim was always her first priority.
Sandra Day O’Conner was a right wing woman. We have a misconception that right wing women are exactly like the worst of their male counterparts, out bashing people over social issues and running off to visit mistresses in Argentina. They are not like that at all, they are usually spending all their time trying to make their communities better places.
July 30, 2010 at 12:09 pm
If, in your comment, you substitue “polarizing” for “racist”, you will see that they just change words to suit their narative. I assume (sorry) that by 2008 you are referring to the Obama/Clinton race. But ask yourself what else could they have done to minimize Hillary? They could not refute her experience or ability or anything else. So they portrayed her as unlikable. And just to show how gracious Obama was, they staged a question to give him an opportunity to say she was likable “enough”. That comment alone should have cost him the election, but he had the press to cover for him.
So, inadvertantly, it is a compliment that they are reduced to name calling. I don’t like it, either, though.
July 30, 2010 at 2:19 pm
LOL DON’T YOU JUST LOVE IT???
Insinuate that a liberal woman might be a hairy-legged, polarizing meany, and she crumbles. Insinuate that a conservative woman might be a hairy-legged polarizing meany, and she kicks your ass.
I AM STEALING THAT FOR MYSELF :>))
July 30, 2010 at 8:18 pm
I have a VERY liberal, feminist sister-in-law who believes that there will be no equality between male and female until there is “compulsory universal national service.” She believes that “every citizen, regardless of socioeconomic status, should be obliged to get down and do some real work on behalf of our nation.”
I find this to be an interesting point of view in light of the fact that she, herself, never even voluntarily joined the military and, as far as I know, there was nothing preventing her from doing so. However, her brother, my husband, did serve in the Navy during the Viet Nam War.
I guess it’s easier for some people to SAY something rather than to actually DO something about their so-called “ideals.”
July 30, 2010 at 9:29 pm
how ’bout we start with every citizen learning the Constitution and basic American History and Civics first?! and then passing a test in order to vote.
July 31, 2010 at 7:55 am
Amen
July 31, 2010 at 8:42 am
Amen to that!
July 31, 2010 at 4:17 pm
Whether it’s your SIL demanding that other people be forced into national service, or some multibillionaire liberal demanding that other people be forced to pay for the needs of others, or Congress exempting themselves from Obamacare while demanding that other people be forced to participate…
Hmm. I think I see a pattern here.
July 31, 2010 at 4:26 pm
This is from an email making the rounds:
If a Republican doesn’t like guns, he doesn’t buy one.
If a Democrat doesn’t like guns, he wants all guns outlawed.
If a Republican is a vegetarian, he doesn’t eat meat.
If a Democrat is a vegetarian, he wants all meat products banned for everyone.
If a Republican is homosexual, he quietly leads his life.
If a Democrat is homosexual, he demands legislated respect.
If a Republican is down-and-out, he thinks about how to better his situation.
A Democrat wonders who is going to take care of him.
If a Republican doesn’t like a talk show host, he switches channels.
Democrats demand that those they don’t like be shut down.
If a Republican is a non-believer, he doesn’t go to church.
A Democrat non-believer wants any mention of God and religion silenced.
If a Republican decides he needs health care, he goes about shopping for it, or may choose a job that provides it.
A Democrat demands that the rest of us pay for his.
If a Republican reads this, he’ll forward it so his friends can have a good laugh.
A Democrat will delete it because he’s “offended”.
July 31, 2010 at 5:44 pm
This list makes no sense. If a Republican is a homosexual, he stays in the closet and tries to deny legal rights to those who are. If a Democrat is a homosexual … well, same thing, actually.
But don’t pretend that something wrong with liberal queers because they just want to get married. It’s Pubs that are sticking their noses in where it doesn’t belong here.
Dems push themselves into your business, and so do Pubs, only in different ways. Personally, I’d like all of them to stay the hell out of my bank account, my uterus, my bedroom, and my life.
July 31, 2010 at 5:51 pm
Janis – I apologize. I didn’t mean to offend anyone reading here. I just copied and pasted the email I had received, but in retrospect probably should have passed or at least edited it. I do agree with you re all politicians / government staying out of all private areas of our lives.
August 1, 2010 at 12:50 am
@Janis ~
Don’t you find it somewhat odd, though, that Proposition 8 would have failed without the black vote — and 95% of them are democrats?

A bit OT, but I came across this where Levi might be the father of another baby:
http://www.nationalenquirer.com/levi_johnston_baby_scandal_bristol_palin_fury/celebrity/69069
DNA test as soon as possible! I’m thinking he’s not the daddy but what if he is?
Just more crap the Palins have to deal with as he pays child support and tries to have a relationship with the child. And if he doesn’t even more proof to the libs that the family is a loser.
July 30, 2010 at 2:53 pm
Just proves that Sarah was right all along about him being a loser.
July 30, 2010 at 11:09 pm
Well the girl has now came out and said that Levi is not the father. I would expect her other boyfriend will want a DNA test to make sure before he gets stuck with child support for the next 18 years.
E online is reporting the Bristol and Levi engagement might be off again. I certainly hope so. I think both of them are way too young and immature to consider marriage. And maybe Bristol has just realized that Levi is only after the money and fame that comes with hitching his wagon to the Palin star.

Folkzz,
Stop thinking about Romney and start checking Newt Gingrich out. The man has ZERO chances to beat Obama but he is heading to be a pain in the butt for Sarah for the nomination.
Newt is siding with Sarah in most hot conservative topics. The guy is smart.
A Palin/Gingrich ticket looks more probably as these two hit the issues.
July 30, 2010 at 4:31 pm
Last night I watched Greta. The awesome Gov. Brewer was on, discussing the AZ situation (the protestors, on US soil, waving Mexican flags makes my blood boil–but I digress). Greta was commenting on the Bolten decision, and Brewer dug in and said…’Well I am NOT a lawyer Greta…’ And I thought that the Palin/Brewer mix of two strong spoken; intelligent woman, NEITHER of which holds a JD, would be such a breath of fresh air!!! Toooo many litigators in politics! Time for Change!!! And doesn’t tht give us all ‘Hope?’
July 30, 2010 at 9:30 pm
Please the Mexican flags should not insult you as much as the T-shirts of Che Guevara insult me. I have been known to absolutely bring waitresses to be incoherent when I ask that a person near my that is wearing a Che T-shirt to be removed from my sight. When she “unfortunately to her” asks why I tell her that “Che killed my father”. Drives them nuts, they have no answer and I lived it because by they time that have some idea about what Che really did, which thanks to Robert Redford who romanticized him without knowing the coward that he REALLY was. Ask me questions about communism, I can tell you things from a person that decided that it was not for her.
July 30, 2010 at 10:54 pm
I am sorry to hear of the violent loss of your father…but I applaud you telling your story to educate the simple, idiot minded, who find Che to be a ‘fashion’ statement as opposed to a murderous fascist.
Tonight, in NYC, during the NY Mets game against the AZ Diamondbacks, ‘protesters’ charged the field with the Mexican flag.
In true BarkyManLove style, ESPN showed the incident…but NOT the audio. Why? Could it be that even in NYC that flag, and what the ‘protesters’ stand for…got booed???

Allie2, I am so sorry to hear about your father.
I would be interested in hearing more about your experiences with communism.

Allie2, maybe you could do an essay, and email it to the boyz to be posted here. I’m sure many of the regulars here would be interested in your opinions on Communism.

Agreed.

Since I went to Vietnam in 1963, I have hunted, fought and killed communists (and all their iterations) on five continents.
I hate communists!
The only good communist is a dead communist.

agree whole heartedly

Mm. My Aunt is a communist. All property is shared in her community. Her earnings as a teacher are shared. Everyone contributes in their own way. She’s a Catholic nun. Your vile comment does not belong here.

This is very off topic but I know that the media being the media is not going to bring this up. The Juarez Cartel has placed a $1,000,000 on the head of the Sheriff Carpaio (sp). My question is why? why are they so interested in illegal immigrants? Could it be that some of those illegals are part of their drug and gun smuggling arms? Women are also being smuggled and treated as prostitutes until they “earn” the price of their trip.
I am sorry, maybe I am naive and do not think about the ramifications of all of this and maybe my naivete is thinking that everything is all “well and honky”, but it does sound suspicious like to me.
Boyz, pleae do not think that I am as stupid as I sounded above. Sometimes it works. I know that you can understand this, sometimes a pretty face is mistaken for a lack of intelligence by mistake.

The NYT has Palin 24/5 in successful endorsements of candidates.

I spotted another anti gov. billboard yesterday. It is red, white and blue, on interstate 41 just north of Oshkosh. (The EAA just finished there yesterday so more people than usual should have seen it.) It refers to our “rulers” in DC in a disparaging way and urges all incumbents be voted out. I was driving in heavy traffic so I couldn’t see who paid for it.

RE:
“I laugh because we are in the process of electing numerous candidates just like Sarah Palin. We are about to elect dozens of Sarah Palins so polarize that.”

I LOVE IT!!!

Virginia leads the way, great news from Fox:
“In a decision that could lay the groundwork for an Arizona-style immigration policy, Virginia’s attorney general said state law enforcement officers are allowed to check the immigration status of anyone “stopped or arrested.”
Attorney General Ken Cuccinelli issued the legal opinion Friday extending that authority to Virginia police in response to an inquiry over whether his state could mirror the policies passed into law in Virginia atty genl ruling”..
