Many of you have asked to see the emails dispatched by “Roxy Vanilla” to the press and “The Prophet” directly, regarding the ongoing sex scandal rocking the Chicago GOP. ”Roxy Vanilla” is a group of Chicago Young Republican members who are attempted to oust “The Prophet” and his cabal from their group, and restore the club’s good name and get it back on track. Here’s what they sent out yesterday, and it touches on some of the underhanded and ridiculous things “The Prophet” has been doing in recent days to try to save his skin and keep his position (including striking out at us and attempting to get Fran Eaton at Illinois Review to run more of her nasty hit pieces on us, including one that would claim one of us has AIDS. Which makes us wonder if these people who claim they are Republicans in Chicago are really Alinsky Democrats at heart, since that’s the go-to for Leftists in everything involving gay men they are upset with: wish they have AIDS, say they have AIDS, and call them whores. Things are getting nasty as “The Prophet” lashes out, knowing he is backed against the wall):

DATE: 7/25/10
Dear PROPHET,
Your sweet smell of success is turning in to the acrid reek of
scandal, controversy, and gossip. You grabbed for the brass ring
and wound up with a handful of barbed wire. In your quest for
power and vain glory, you destroyed many good people. Now, it is
your turn. There is a difference with you. You are being
destroyed with the most powerful weapon of all- the truth. The
absolute truth. Not the horrible lies and gossip you spread to
destroy others.
Resign before it is too late. You are ruining Lee Roupas. He is
now trying to save his own skin. He is telling people he can’t
stand you, hates being around you, and really never wanted anything
to do with you. You were forced on him. It is said Roupas is
trying to extend peace feelers to Gerson through mutual
acquaintances. Looks like he is stabbing you in the back too. Pat
Brady is angry Roupas lied to him. He went to bat for you and
Roupas and wound up looking like a fool. He is fit to be tied
about your lies, your conduct, and your persistent and feeble
attempts to hold on. He is now being asked to force Roupas out.
Even Curt Conrad has been bad mouthing you.
Your time is near. Why don’t you just quit, PROPHET. Quit the
party, quit the CYRs, and leave Chicago. Everyone will be so much
better off without you. All you have accomplished is disaster.
The CYRs are now in disarray. We are now a laughing stock. None
of us wanted to be a political force or party. We did not share
your dreams of glory and conquest through the art of personal
destruction.
I guess you know the real media is snooping around. We heard
reporters were hanging around the Blackhawk office. Some have been
calling and emailing people. Guess what? People are talking to
them. Your so called friends, your enemies, and some of the people
you tried to destroy. They are gabbing away. They have some
interesting photos and videos too. My, my. Who knew you were so
debauched. A few attorneys have provided sworn affidavits and more
are coming. Some of the Boyz will be outing you too. One of our
group was told the RNC is sending their own investigator. Guess
who his first interview will be with? It will not be you, Roupas,
or Brady.
PROPHET, it is time for you to go. Just walk away before you are
forced out in disgrace. Some of the candidates are calling Brady.
The donors are calling. We are talking with people, including the
Chicago Party. We are doing what you should have- working with
people, not warring with them. Soon, there will be a public
apology to EG on behalf of the CYRs for your public, horrible,
nasty treatment of her. A very public apology.
What you did to Elizabeth Christie was horrible. She is now a
laughing stock. Are you going to call her nasty names and tell
tales about her when she throws you under the bus, like you’ve done
to other women? Will you publicly call her a whore like you did to
KD? Will you spread nasty stories and rumors about her too? Of
course you will. It is your method. That’s your problem, you just
can’t help yourself. You enjoy destroying people.
Roupas is being denigrated. People will not even talk to him at
events. It is like he has some disease. He is lucky people even
say hello to him or shake his hand. He looks sick most of the
time. At the mark Kirk event he hid in the back of the room and
could not wait to leave.
You are nothing but a sneak, a liar, and a disgrace. No wonder you
were fired from the United Republican Fund. Now the truth comes
out. Powerful forces are being arrayed against you. You cannot
overcome them. There is even word a press release is being
prepared announcing your removal for inappropriate sexual conduct.
Lee will be forced to issue it under his own name. Do you really
want this public humiliation? Some of us may issue a release of
out own throwing you out of the CYRs.
Resign PROPHET, just resign. Resign before you are thrown out. Or
do you want to go out in some blaze of glory and burn the whole
house down with you? That is more your style isn’t it. Guess
what? There are more surprises coming. Do not even think you are
smart or you can maneuver your way out. You lost. Go. Quit.
Resign. Leave town. Get out. Put Chicago in your rear view
mirror. Or risk suffering the consequences.

What a silly bunch of little egotistical weinies this CYR is.
They need to stop playing at politics and go back to telemarketing or whatever it is they imagine they’re good at.
July 26, 2010 at 9:45 am
Jeremy and Lyin’ Lee need to go. If the press hears about this, it is going to hurt Bill Brady and Kirk.
But bad, selfish people never do the right thing so Pat Brady needs to make these things happen.
July 26, 2010 at 10:09 am
Oh wow. Self-preservation is not the Prophet’s forte is it?
July 26, 2010 at 10:09 am
MEOW!!!! Kitty’s got claws!!!
If there’s one good thing that came from evrything that happened in 2008 is that we Hilary/Palin supporters have figured out the rules of playing hardball and ain’t afraid to play.
Aim for the cajones, Boyz.

The progressives are not limited to Democrats. There are O-pressive Republicans as well. Glenn Beck talks about this all the time.
We got some house cleaning to do!! We need to get rid of the mold growing behind the wall. You can’t see it but it infects us all. We have your back, boyz.
July 26, 2010 at 10:23 am
I am told emails exist which that prove Lee Roupas knew of the CYR sexual harassment charges in July 2009, not June 2010 as he has tried to imply to Committeemen.
I am also told that some State Central Committee members knew “all about it” several months ago, but did nothing.
I am also told that national media is hot on the story.
WOW!
This is not over by a long shot, unfortunately.
July 26, 2010 at 10:27 am
Boyz, I don’t get it, being from NY, I really don’t give a ratz ass about Chicago pols, as our sewer ratz are bigger than yourz, and more plentiful. But if the things you alledge about this douce “The Prophet” are true, why use this lame moniker, instead of outing him? There is no liable in the truth!
July 26, 2010 at 10:52 am
You may have missed earlier postings that answered this question. In short, because this “Prophet” fellow has a personal connection to one of the Boyz. Declaring his name (and thus making our friend vulnerable) would be an unforced error at this point. It is enough that those directly involved know who this person is, and that most people in Chicago political circles know. For the rest of us, this is a lesson for our own local circles. . .
July 26, 2010 at 11:28 am
We never wrote about the complaint against The Prophet even though the complainant is a friend because we wanted the GOP to take care of this problem before it had to be public. We dont write everything we know about anything. The reason we started covering this was because of Lee Roupas declaring open war on Eloise Gerson for demanding an end to this coverup. Instead of looking into the complaint the GOP sausagefest in Chicago chose to protect the Romney Guys and savage the woman who demanded zn explanation. We just could not stay quiet about that…and the fact a xealthy donor was behind the scenes using her checkbook to protect her boytoy. The story is not what The Prophet did or
who he is but what the Illinois GOP did to protect these Romney Guys.

It’s a perfect example of what is wrong about politics. Names don’t matter. It’s the same game everywhere and it’s wrong.
July 26, 2010 at 6:45 pm
I think the logic behind this series of articles is ridiculous. Why focus on solely exposing the coverup, when this “Prophet” character is the one who actually committed the crime. If he is actually sexually harassing girls, I think it is hypocritical to expose a coverup, when you yourself, are essentially covering up the bigger issue just because you have personal ties to him.

Response to ChiGuy:
HB already stated in a previous article that the reason they are writing so much about this whole affair, no pun intended, is so that we all can be very careful in analyzing our own party shenanigans in other states. If it’s happening there, it’s probably everywhere. It’s about vigilance.
The monikers, graphics, and spy storyline make it fun to read. It’s a lot easier for me to think about the cartoonish Prophet instead of the name of some guy that really has nothing to do with my life in Arizona. I have to look out for my own “Prophets”

Who knew when the cesspool of corruption Chicago’s South Side stole the DNC nomination from Hillary that an entire nation would rise up-The Tea Party-charging themselves with the task to “out” all liars, thieves, deviates etc. I think as miserable as this is to go through that it is better for both parties to clean house, obviously there is a need. Possibly both parties will get back to something sensible as in running the country, respecting our voting populace and restoring our Constitutional Republic. People like Obama/minions the Prophet are very dangerous people, due to corruption and the fact that they are inept-they lend new meaning to the word selfish.

Our Boyz have gutz.
July 26, 2010 at 12:51 pm
You keep calling them Romney Boys. I may have missed the original reference, and now I can’t remember – is this because they actually *are* Romney supporters, who worked on his campaign before and are actively campaigning for him now, or because you perceive that they *typify* Romney supporters, in the generic, country-club, cult-of-personality kind of way? In other words, that you see them acting the way you know Romney people do act?
Because, if there is an actual, formal, official connection, then we need to exploit that. As this story grows and gains media traction, let’s start contacting Romney’s HQ and asking him what he thinks about his people behaving this way, and does he condone it, etc. etc. If we can connect Romney with this type of behavior, it could taint him badly, especially the more publicity this garners.
July 26, 2010 at 1:23 pm
Excellent idea, Rose.
The current ‘strategy’ isn’t gaining traction fast enough.
If Romney HQ even thought there was a CHANCE this ‘date rape’ charge could be in ANY way connected to operatives working for him, however remotely, they’d crap their drawers.
It wouldn’t be good for Mr. Squeaky Clean Family Guy Ken Doll (with the magic underwear).
July 26, 2010 at 1:34 pm
The Prophet and Roupas were big Romney supporters. Prophet brags of close connections to Romney and used CYRs to promote Romney. Just like Obama did in 2006_2008 Romneys guys are wormed into the GOP at the county and city level. They want to control the apparatus for the nomination. Prophet and Roupas met with Romney when he was here at the City Club last month. Romney comes to Chicago every month or so to lay 2012 groundwork and keep his guys energized. They are all so much like Obamas thugs it is scary.
July 26, 2010 at 3:27 pm
Wow! Okay, that’s a pretty good slam-dunk! Far be it from me to rejoice in an enemy’s downfall, but….(gloat, gloat…) Well, do you, HB, have hard copy documentation of these close connections (excerpts of emails bragging of Romney connection, fliers for Romney events with ‘Hosted by Prophet’ in the corner, City Club or other media announcements of regular meetings, etc.) that we could get to work on?
I can already see my email to Mitt Romney’s campaign starting off something like,
‘To Whom It May Concern,
I’ve been hearing more and more about a growing scandal in the IL GOP, and the more I read about this, the more disturbed I become to discover how high up this corruption goes. Indeed, according to the attached, you are actively involved with the people in question, who are now caught in an embarrassing cover-up. Do you condone having this type of people working for you? Are you proud to have them on your team? Please let me know your stance on this, and what action you plan to take to distance your reputation from this kind of corruption.’
And so on. If you can get us the material proof of the connection, we can to work on this thing. Hey, we could even CC this to Mike Huckabee’s team or some other 2nd-tier contender who’d be glad to take a swipe at the self-appointed front-runner! Of course the MSM aren’t going to be eager to run with this Mitt-Romney-as-Corrupt-o-crat motif, but we can get the news out ourselves and something is bound to leak out.
July 26, 2010 at 4:07 pm
Prophet and Roupas both heavily featured photos of themselves with Romney on CYR website. Prophet also heavily promoted all Romney appearances in Chicago. Fran Eaton at Illinois Review wrote many flattering pieces on how connected Prophet was to Romney. He gave her cakes cookies and candy and she gave him great exposure.,

If state gop chairman Pat Brady won’t lead and won’t clean up this mess, then he needs to go too.
Cleaning up means that Roupas and the Prophent must go, at a minimum.
The state chairman is the only single person who can bring this to an end. Could do it by lunch time if he wanted to. Problem is Brady hasn’t wanted to.
Big kudos to HillBuzz for staying on this. I sense you are close to closing the loop on this story.
