Victor David Hanson claims Nemesis has come to punish Obama — we think it's just Hera doing her thing some more
Here’s a fun read by Victor David Hanson, where he invokes Greek myth in the form of the lesser goddess Nemesis to explain the collapse of the cult of Obama. In short, he waxes on the Olympian plane to recount Dr. Utopia’s determined hubris as a candidate, where he constantly used grandiose hyperbole to delude his cultists into believing, as president, he would “lower the oceans”, “heal the planet”, “fix broken souls”, and do everything else this “new god” of Media manufacture promised not just Americans, but the whole world, he would do.
As Hanson notes, in the Greek myths, whenever a mere mortal became so pumped full of ego that he likened himself to the gods and made such insane pronouncements about himself, Olympus dispatched Nemesis to bring wretches like this down — in fun, creative, and let-that-be-a-lesson-to-you all sorts of ways.
All of us here attended Catholic schools, where Greek myths were always studied in English and history classes, every year — and where we always had creative little projects assigned to us, which often involved dressing up as various characters and performing little skits. One time, in high school, one of our schools even had us write new myths using existing or original characters, as if these stories were still being told today to explain the world around us.
So, it’s fairly easy for us to see Hera hard at work, since 2008, punishing all those who sided against Hillary Clinton in the Democrat primaries. Obama, for everything he did to the Clintons, and everything his cultists did to her supporters, bears the most responsibility of all. His wife Michelle’s punishment is the simple and sublime fact that she has to wake up each morning as herself — no amount of “high fashion”, lavish praise from the Media, or elaborate extravagance on the taxpayer dime will ever make up for having to stare into a mirror and stare at what’s looking back at her each and every day for the rest of her life. Her husband, however, is only just starting to receive the attention of Hera…and if you read Hanson’s piece, you can clearly see a queen on a peacock throne, not the vengeful Nemesis, at work here.
Really, Obama’s fall is more like what happened to Greg Stillson in The Dead Zone, and other would-be tyrants and destroyers of this country. He might have been positioned where he is now by people who want to see this country destroyed, and his arrogance and various mental disorders may have culminated into a very real danger to the continued prosperity of this nation, but in the end he will be undone by some trick of fate and happenstance that reveals his true colors to the nation. Everything that’s happening now is the leadup to this moment, so maybe you can see it as Hera priming that pump, or you can wax more patriotic and believe the ghosts of the Founding Fathers are assembling ethereally behind the scenes to construct a political Rube Goldberg device that will soon form a Byzantine, twisting, and turning assemblage of oddities that will combine to bring him down.
We think, mathematically, there’s a more rational explanation — and it’s simply that a person cannot do as many crazy things, and can’t exist with his level of chronic incompetence in the most high profile job in the world, without all of his mistakes accumulating to the point where some small event in the future is going to be the proverbial straw that breaks the socialist’s back.
And when this man finally goes down, he’s going to take not just a lot of bad Democrats down with him, but he’s going to drag a large portion of the national Media down too.
Americans must remember how much the Media pushed for Obama, and how Chris Matthews, Keith Olbermann and the rest of MSNBC in particular became a de facto, unpaid arm of his campaign.
A lot of people out there have comeuppance coming, to answer for all that’s happened to this country for the last two years.
You can believe it’s Nemesis behind this, or Hera, or just simple math and probability…or you can believe angels on high really do love this country and will defeat all who abjure it. Whatever you believe, history teaches that men like Obama get the takedowns and falls from grace they have coming.
For him, because of his global cult of personality, that takedown is going to be spectacular. And, as Hanson notes, that’s something he should have thought long and hard about as he encouraged his cult’s rise to begin with.
QUESTION: How do we get regular Americans to start asking questions about, and start doing something about, the wasteful spending of school districts?
One of the biggest mysteries out there for us is why, exactly, taxpayers have let the teachers’ unions get away with such wasteful spending in school districts — largely on the ridiculous, pie-in-the-sky salaries of district officials, superintendents, and others who’ve grown mighty fat off the public gravy train.
America’s close to being broke, if not there already.
We can no longer afford to funnel so much money into failing school districts — not when the majority of these funds go into the pockets of administrators and union crooks, instead of making any marked difference at all in the education of children.
A few days ago, AceofSpades ran a terrific graphic that showed spending on education in the last 50 years or so, documenting an enormous upsurge in funding, but absolutely no measurable increase in the quality of education the children were receiving. Apparently, it costs four times as much today in education spending for each K-12 student, but these kids are not four times as smart as they were 50 years ago. In our opinion, at least in school districts like Chicago’s, these kids could actually be four times dumber than they were when our grandparents’ left school.
Have you ever been in to a public school in a large city like Chicago? It’s ridiculous.
Some of us here do little freelance assignments in public schools once or twice a year, conducting surveys or doing promotional work for various companies. We are forever astounded at just how poor these students are. Their English is terrible, their manners are practically nonexistent. The schools have framed photos of Malcolm X, Yassir Arafat, and Che Guevera on the walls. George Washington and Abraham Lincoln are nowhere to be found. The teachers robotically speak in a verbiage that’s almost impossible for us to replicate without laughing. It goes something like, “Now, Deante, my expectation of you, gentleman, is excellence, and you have not exceeded my expectation of excellence by behaving in this manner. What do you think your expectation of excellence means in terms of the matter of turning in your homework on time?”. Why not just ask this kid where his homework is? Why talk like Vicki the Robot from Small Wonder while doing it?
And seriously, YASSIR ARAFAT, on the walls in a framed photo? In Chicago? We’ve seen this, and not just in one school. It’s insane.
We believe there’s a silver lining to the economic crunch we are in, especially in states like Illinois.
It’s a chance to spur regular Americans to question where all the money is going. In the rush for Democrats to raise taxes, there’s no grassroots movement to audit the books and investigate where the tax dollars are already going. With billions lavished on the education system, which does not seem to produce qualified, hard-working, learned graduates commiserate with the amount of treasure dispatched into these black holes, we think it’s time tax payers stood up and demanded some of that change we were all promised in 2008.
And that change looks an awful lot like cutting the money stream that’s been pouring into the teachers’ unions, and ending the days where school administrators take home millions of dollars a year when the kids in these school districts certainly aren’t receiving educations to warrant this sort of lavish compensation for these bureaucrats.
We increasingly see just how much damage unions in general do to this country…and we believe the teachers’ unions are vulnerable to a severe public backlash if only they could be exposed for the waste generators they are.
How do we do this, and where do we start?
Thoughts?
PS — What do you also think of Sharon Angle’s idea in Nevada to do away with the US Department of Education? It didn’t exist until 1980, and doesn’t seem to be good for very much in our opinion. How much money a year does this bureaucracy cost US taxpayers and what does it actually do that’s productive?
Can anyone answer these queries?

QUESTION: What would you do for America if you thought she needed it?
June is a very emotional, and busy, month for us around here. Busy in the sense that we try to cram as many freelance, even planning, and project management jobs as we can while the weather is nice, so that we have enough to cover us in the parts of the year when Chicago’s brutal, not just in terms of weather, but in employment as well.
But, June’s very emotional because this is the month, last year, when we lost our very good friend Lionel to cancer…and it’s the month, in 2008, when Hillary Clinton suspended her presidential campaign (and with it, ended a dream we’d had since childhood of seeing her become the first female president). June’s also the birthday month for four of us…with Robby’s birthday tomorrow, and the others following licketysplit through the end of the month and Pride weekend.
And, most importantly, June is so close to our all-time favorite holiday, THE FOURTH OF JULY.
More and more, on late night waiting for a train, or whenever we’re off to ourselves somewhere, quiet, we keep thinking about what Democrats in office today are doing to this country, and how we see them, clearly, destroying our economy and future.
We think back to grade school, and all the nuns who taught us, and remember reading Johnny Tremain and other books about our nation’s first patriots. We remember going to Gettysburg with our parents, and learning about the regular, average people who weren’t in uniform, but who helped the Union win the day and preserve our nation. We recall stories our grandparents told us about people they knew and what they did in the 31 Years’ War, battling Germany and its allies twice, the last time being an epic war against the very powers of Hell themselves in many ways. Sebastian’s grandmother, in particular, put everything she had, and put her life on the line, to stop first the Nazis and then the Communists. He remembers asking her once why she did that, why she got involved, why she committed herself to that when she didn’t have to and could have stayed in the safety and comfort of Cleveland, keeping to herself. She told him it had to be done, and that if not her, then who would do it?
We were taught that if you saw something bad coming, and you loved this country, you stood up and took your lumps and did everything you could to tip the scales in favor of the US of A. Always. No matter what it took. No matter what it cost you. No matter who would get mad at you. No matter what.
And so, we have to admit to you that we feel something stirring in us — that we hesitate to say is a calling, but it’s a power we feel on an emotional level that America is really in trouble, folks, and that if the current “president” gets another term, we believe America will not survive.
We can never tell you how much the 2008 campaign took out of us, and how in many ways going all-in first for Hillary Clinton and then John McCain damn near destroyed us. We became targets of the Left because of our efforts, and that’s led to continued hardships for us today. But, we have no regrets, and know we did everything we could to stop Obama and his Leftists from taking power. We have a clear conscience, and feel like those who tried to stop Lenin, Mao, Mussolini, and Hitler from rising in their times. We failed, as other Resistance efforts failed, but it was not for lack of trying.
As the Fourth of July approaches just a little more than a week from now, we seriously need to sit down and find a way to focus everything we’ve got for a sustained period of two years to make sure Obama is defeated, his Leftists are driven from office, and a president who loves this country takes her place behind the Resolute Desk in the Oval Office.
This will mean giving up a lot of the things we love doing. It’s going to mean spending a lot more time behind the computer, and reaching out to a lot more people out there nationwide to build a network of Americans who will work together for the next two years to make sure Governor Palin has a counterattack to everything the Left will try to throw at her, in the primaries, and then the general election.
This also means putting aside our decades-long dream of seeing Hillary Clinton become the first female president; you might not understand the emotion that’s going into this, but it’s severe. The only Republican we have faith in to defeat Obama is Governor Palin. We’ve studied this woman. We’ve met her. We’ve seen her in action. We know her heart. She is the real deal, and we know what the Left is planning to do to her, because we’ve been personally subjected to the same garbage for two years now.
So, we’re forcing ourselves to go through yet another evolution…and asking you to come along with us. Instead of being observers and commentators on the goings on here on the national stage, we need you to mobilize as actors and activists. Should Governor Palin decide at some point not to answer the SOS call that’s going out to her from this country, then we’ll all fall in line behind whomever the Governor supports in 2012 as America’s champion.
We love this country more than we can ever tell you. We look to Governor Palin and ask her with all of our hearts to answer that call and stand up for this country when it needs her. We ask her to fight beyond anything she might think she’s capable of, and for the entire Palin family to put themselves out there on the national stage in ways that we can’t even imagine enduring. And we promise to be there, every day, as much as humanly possible, coming up with all the ideas and strategies we can to make sure what was done to Hillary Clinton is not done to Sarah Palin…or any other woman ever again, regardless of party, so long as any of us live.
We need to remember what our strengths are, and figure out where our energy can be best directed.
And we need all of you to start thinking about ways that you can personally impact 2012…starting now…knowing that every day is precious, and that Hillary supporters will attest there is absolutely nothing any of us wouldn’t give to have the years 2006-2008 to do over again, knowing everything we know now.
Well, in that sense, for the Palin 2012 campaign, we think we can be a valuable resource, because 2010-2012 will be filled with many pitfalls and battles for the Governor and America itself that we’ve already been veterans of.
We didn’t want to become involved in another presidential race, and were honestly looking forward to getting back to our old lives again. But we can’t shake the feeling that America itself is calling out for help…and we can’t turn our backs. If regular people coast to coast all came together and fought back, we could take down the Left once and for all, destroy the Democrat Party, and purge our government of socialists and lunatics. This starts in November, but that’s just the prelude to the real war for the soul of this country to come in 2012.
How much do you love this country, and what part do you intend to play in all this for the next two years?
IDEAS NEEDED: How best to track the Media's pushing of the Soggy Sandwich Club?
Please chime in with your thoughts on this project — it’s something we’ve been following piecemeal here on HillBuzz for some time, but we’d like to formalize it and create a page of its own where we can track the daily pushing of the Soggy Sandwich Club by the Media — the men we like to call cucumber-and-mayonnaise Republicans that the Media is trying so desperately to push towards the GOP’s 2012 nomination over Governor Sarah Palin, or, if not her, other strong take-no-prisoners battle-ready Republicans like Chris Christie, Jan Brewer, Jim DeMint, and Michele Bachmann.
If you have a pulse and don’t take any garbage, and have no fear of the Media or the Left, then the powers-that-be at the DNC will do everything they can to make sure you come nowhere near the GOP nomination. Instead, the Left wants to run Mitt Romney, Tim Pawlenty, John Thune, Mike Huckabee, Jon Huntsman, Mitch Daniels, and other Republicans as limp, impotent, and boring as soggy, cucumber-and-mayonnaise sandwiches at a bad wake.
Dead on arrival, these born losers all are when it comes to the 2012 general election…and that’s just how the Left wants Obama’s opponent served up.
How can we track the articles the Media is writing that push these guys towards the nomination, in a way that visually represents what’s going on?
No one else is tracking this stuff, especially not conservative sites like AceofSpades or RedState, which are generally hostile towards Governor Palin and are run largely by Romney Guys.
So, we don’t believe it’s a deliberate oversight on their part to pay no attention at all to what the Media is doing, as much as it’s the fact that as Romney Guys, especially, they can’t see the harm in the Media sending love notes to Romney and his soggy sandwich buddies because they’re sending those same love letters themselves. It’s like us writing a bad review of Prince of Persia, when we’re so keen on Jakey-G that he could read the phone book, shirtless, and we’d be more than happy to spend two hours of our lives in the dark with strangers listening to every magical word. That’s how Ace and Redstate feel about Romney — they go gay for him the way we’d do just about anything for Gyllenhaal. Have you ever heard a bad word about Jake on this site? What about Romney over at Ace or Redstate? Hmmmmmm.
Whether you share our belief in Governor Palin or not, and whether you join our opinion that she is uniquely positioned to take Obama down in ways only she can, you have to take a big step back and look passed your Romney-love to wonder WHY certain Republicans enjoy such fawning press from the Obama-loving Media while other Republicans, like Governors Palin, Brewer, and Christie, are eviscerated on a daily basis.
If the Left, who love Obama, love people like Romney, Pawlenty, Huckabee, Thune, and others, then something must be seriously wrong with those guys. If you are a supporter of any of them, you need to ask yourself what about these men is driving the positive coverage in the Media…then do a little research into what sort of coverage John McCain received from 2000-2008. If you didn’t think McCain was a good candidate to run for president, then maybe you need to ask yourself how Mitt Romney, in particular, would be any sort of an improvement for the GOP’s odds of taking back the White House.
How can we compile a running dossier on the Media’s nomination-stacking plan, and how can we assemble this into a chart, graph, or illustration the general public could easily understand?
Ideas needed, please, because this is something that’s clearly happening — we see it, our regular readers see it, but it still seems to be a mystery to the conservative sites we read, who keep falling for the Media’s trickery in all of this.
QUESTION: Just how crazy is the New Yorker to believe Mike Huckabee has a chance in 2012?
This is absolutely one of the craziest reads in recent memory: a love letter from the New Yorker to Mike Huckabee, declaring him the GOP’s best hope in 2012.
We stopped including Huckabee in our GOP soggy sandwich cucumber-and-mayonnaise club for losers the Media was trying to push towards the GOP 2012 nomination instead of Governor Palin because Huckabee had become so toxic and laughable, after several ridiculous and damaging things he has been involved in recently.
There was, on the serious side, the fact that one of the many lunatics and criminals he pardoned while Governor of Arkansas went on a rampage in Washington state and killed several police officers in a diner. If not for Huckabee, those cops would be alive. For all intents and purposes, this makes Michael Dukakis and Willie Horton look like perfectly acceptable, reasonable decision making in comparison. Whether Huckabee was right to do what he did or not doesn’t matter: the fact that he pardoned this man, who went on to murder police, is the kind of thing that makes conservatives sit their butts home on election day, playing their favorite game of, “I’m a gonna teach that there GOP a lesson and STAY HOME today”. Idiots. Or, more apt, easily-manipulated-idiots.
In other words, the same idiots that secured the presidency for Obama, and are responsible for everything that’s happening to this country today, because they insisted John McCain was not conservative enough for them to warrant getting up off their couches to go vote for him in 2008. The Media, of course, gleefully stoked this insanity, convincing many of these people that if only they allowed Democrats to have their “black Carter” then Republicans could have a reborn Reagan in a term or so.
Well, folks, you were played…and look at what we’re dealing with now. Do not allow the Media to play its games again and select a Republican who is fatally flawed like Mike Huckabee to win the nomination.
Not only is he damaged goods because of the parole issue, but he has accumulated quite a clips file saying absolutely insane and bizarre things on a host of topics. He is unpalatable to Independents because of these bizarre sound bytes, including those where he goes out of his way to malign gay people — for no good reason at all, least of all any that are politically advantageous to Republicans.
The Media would LOVE to make the 2012 election focus on Republican hatred of gays. They would adore this priceless gift, because it would take focus away from the Obama economy and everything else that’s sinking Democrats.
Mike Huckabee is the Media’s dream candidate for the GOP to run in 2012, even if he doesn’t make it past the primaries, because the Media might succeed in using him the way it used John Edwards against Hillary Clinton in 2008.
The Media knew about John Edwards’ affair and love child, and knew he would not win the nomination, but it used Edwards in Iowa and New Hampshire to weaken Hillary Clinton and split her vote so Obama could win and come in second in those races. Edwards served the purpose of spoiler, and helped the Media take Hillary down so the Lightbringer could be president.
In 2012, we believe the Media will use someone like Huckabee (if not Huckabee himself) to split the conservative Republican vote away from Governor Palin in those early contests, hoping it would benefit Mitt Romney, the Media’s preferred candidate. They want to use Huckabee like they used Edwards, and just like Edwards Huckabee is too damn stupid and egocentric to know what’s really going on.
These Republican men, when fawned over by the likes of the New Yorker, really need to sit down and wonder why the Leftist bastions of Liberalism are heaping such praise on them. It’s like every jerk in school telling Carrie White she looks GORGEOUS in her prom dress, while holding back giggles. There’s Mike Huckabee, clutching his corsage, adjusting his Vera Wang, shimmying up the steps onto the stage with bright eyes stifling tears, so happy he’s adored by the Leftist Media in such a warm spotlight. The fool has no idea a bucket of pig’s blood has got his name on it, followed by public humiliation and disaster for his party.
Why is it that Republicans never see this coming?
If we were a Republican elected official, and the Media didn’t say something awful about us every day, and the Left DIDN’T try its level best to destroy us, we’d ask ourselves what we were doing wrong and would wonder why these people weren’t coming at us from all sides, the way they do to Governor Palin, Governor Jan Brewer, Governor Chris Christie, and other Republicans who actually matter and do what their constituents want them to do.
Mike Huckabee is a tool.
The Media will play him, use him, and then discard him according to their wants and needs.
He is being propped up now, in hopes of being useful against Governor Palin in 2012. We hope enough Republicans out there see what’s happening and keep this man out of a prom dress before the Iowa primary rolls around, because any fan of Sissy Spacek knows how this will end for all of us.
QUESTION: Do you see that the Republicans who win the presidency are the ones the Left hates the most?
Here’s something we’d like your take on, because it’s a feeling we have that we’d like to expand into a more comprehensive essay — are the Republicans who win the presidency the ones the Left hates the most, and if so why is that?
Think about it.
The Left HATED George W. Bush, even back in 2000, and he was a two-term president that Independents broke towards in a big way.
John McCain was not hated by the Left — he was maligned, disrespected, and attacked by the Left, but they didn’t hate this man. At worst, the called him “McSame”, and tried to pull out their Bush attacks by proxy, but McCain never made these lunatics foam at the mouth the way they did over Bush. McCain lost the presidency to the Lightbringer.
The Left never hated Bob Dole. They called him old, and some of the crueler members of the lunatic coalition made fun of his physical impairment (with an arm lost in the war), but they never hated him. Dole lost the presidency to the Clintons in 1996.
Did the Left hate George Bush Sr.? Yes…but not as much as the Left hates his son…and Ross Perot was a major factor in giving the Clintons their first term. Without Perot, Bush would have probably won that election. He was hated by the Left, as was his wife Barbara, but nowhere near as much as the Left hated Ronald Reagan.
Who was a two term president who won his elections in landslides, with the Left foaming at the mouth over him all the way.
Gerald Ford was not hated, and he lost to Carter.
Richard Nixon was hated with a passion, and won two times.
We see a pattern here.
The Republicans who seem to drive the Left that absolute bat-guano craziest are the ones Independents seem to break towards in a big way.
Past is not predictor, but it’s precedent — so looking to 2012, who are the candidates the Media are pushing for the GOP to nominate to run against Obama the Lightbringer?
(1) Mitt Romney = not hated by the Left, and considered a joke by almost everyone except Romney Guys (FYI, Romney’s in Chicago tomorrow to meet with Romney Guys about his 2012 campaign and talk about early Iowa ops)
(2) Tim Pawlenty = not hated by the Left, and doctors’ #1 non-prescription recommendation for battling insomnia
(3) John Thune = not hated by the Left, because few know who he is, including most relatives
(4) Jon Huntsman = not only not hated by the Left, but liked by them because he’s part of the Obama Administration
(5) Mitch Daniels = not hated by the Left because his favorite color is the white of the surrender flag, which he waives with gusto preemptively saying he’ll cave to the Left on most matters they deem important (because he doesn’t want to upset anyone with social matters)
Hmmmmm.
Innocuous, bland, cucumber-and-mayonnaise, boring, dull-as-dirt, nonthreatening Republicans are not hated by the Left.
In the past, members of this soggy sandwich club have been pushed by the Media towards the GOP nomination…like Dole and McCain…and they have lost to Democrats the Media wanted to elect.
Hmmmmmm.
Could there be a connection between men whom the Left doesn’t hate, and men the Left doesn’t see as real threats in an election?
Hmmmmmmm.
Could it be the more the Left thinks someone will beat the Democrat, the more the Left hates that person, and the more the Media tries to keep that person from being the GOP nominee so the Democrat will win?
Hmmmmmmmm.
Something to think about…and we don’t even need to mention a 2012 candidacy for Governor Sarah Palin because we think the above just speaks for itself. The one person the Left hates more than anything and works overtime to destroy…why is that?
Hmmmmmmmmm.
Sarah Palin summer arts and crafts

Just imagine a cardboard moose head with PALIN 2012 on it as a campaign promotion tool for the Governor.
All of us here at Buzzquarters love arts and crafts, and each of us has little hobbies and things we enjoy making. Robby and his dad work on little model train miniatures, which is fun for them, even across the distance between here and Robby’s home town of Mineral City. They’ve been working on a model of Boystown, actually, this is a very cool long-term project where Robby takes pictures of buildings on Halsted and cuts basic shapes out of cardboard, and then mails them to his dad Earl, and then he paints them and finds little figures and other touches to make it look realistic. When finished with a building, Earl sends it back to Robby here in Chicago and he adds it to the growing street scene, which is fun father-son project that Robby plans on putting under glass in a display case and cherishing for the rest of his life — as not just a memento of his time living here in Chicago in Boystown, but of his dad’s love of miniatures too.
The rest of us aren’t as crafty as Earl or Robby, but we do like making things, and this summer we’ve decided to have some fun with cardboard of our own…hopefully ending up with some cool Alaskan/Sarah Palin themed decorations for Buzzquarters while we are at it.
The photo above is from Urban Outfitters, of a cardboard deer head they have for sale (which we think is just too expensive for cardboard to buy). Why buy something when we can make it — even if it might take us a few attempts to get the thing right?
It’s very interesting just how much Governor Palin is always on our minds, and how much we are drawn to the natural Alaskan imagery she conjures. None of us have ever been to Alaska, but we routinely check flight prices, and sometimes try to figure out how long it would take to ride a train or drive there. Alaska seems so magical to us that we want to know more about it, want to experience it, and want its beauty here with us every day in Buzzquarters, any way we can get it.
This is, of course, all Governor Palin’s doing, because Alaska was never really on our radar until she hit the national scene. We’re sort of meeting her halfway with the cardboard deer head sculpture project, because we’d honestly never want a real deer head hanging on the wall. None of us are hunters, but we don’t begrudge hunters anything — it’s just not us. It’s one thing to bag game and have it taxidermied as a trophy; it’s another to buy someone else’s triumphs at a yard sale and put it on the wall, which is creepy to us. There’s a bar here in Boystown called Buck’s that has real deer and other animal heads on the walls, and it’s just not for us…and feels more like an old barber shop than a bar, to be honest.
But, it would be fun, we think, to make some of these cardboard deer heads…and perfect a moose head, too…and add them to the other eclectic political decorations we have here at Buzzquarters. If we get good at making these this year, maybe we can find a way to use the patterns we develop to help Governor Palin’s campaign next year.
It might be fun to have cheaply-produced Palin 2012 cardboard moose heads that can be sent to Iowa and New Hampshire in some capacity.
If you look closely at the Urban Outfitters example, these are really just giant 3-D puzzles. The cardboard pieces are laser-cut, and all that’s needed is for someone to pop them out of their sheets and assemble them.
In addition to tee shirts, bumper stickers, yard signs, and the traditional campaign fare…what if Palin 2012 cardboard moose head puzzles could be added to the mix, so every home in early primary voting states could get one of these…with a big PALIN 2012 campaign sticker right under the moose where the identifying brass plate usually goes on these trophies?
It’s the kind of thing the Left will hate, obviously, because they hate hunters, hate Palin, and hate us too, so they’ll hate this because we thought of this, which is fine. If the Left hates something, it’s probably a good thing, and we like it.
We’ll keep you updated on the progress of this project. We don’t promise success with it, because it’s ambitious, but maybe some of you out there can figure out how to come up with blueprints for a moose version of this cardboard head concept…and can sufficiently Palinize it so that we can pass it on to SarahPAC as an idea for them in the here and now.
We could have a lot of fun with this, and could give the Governor something interesting and unique to use in 2012.
MISSION: Get Americans to understand the destruction Cap & Tax will bring to our economy (ie, make them see Cap & Tax will cost them money and jobs on a personal level)
Here is the biggest challenge all of us are facing at the moment, and we believe it takes precedence over just about everything else:
Americans must come to understand, on a personal level, that Democrats are trying to push through, by all means available, a Cap & Tax bill that will cripple the US economy, make everything cost dramatically more, and cost millions of people their jobs in the coming years…FOR NO GOOD REASON, because, simply, this is what the apocalyptic Cult of Liberalism wants them to do.
We have come to the realization that Liberalism is indeed a pseudo-religion at this point. Its adherents, including those here in Boystown we know personally, don’t know WHY they believe or do the things they believe and do, but are programmed into this stuff by Liberalism. Their inability to ever go against what the Democrat Party says, and what their Liberal leaders tell them, is what propels their urge to see whatever the Left wants come to pass.
We will never understand why the Left wants to see America collapse into economic ruin, because logic dictates these people will be ruined economically with the rest of us. Perhaps there is no longer any logic involved with these people. The reason the Left is so keen on Islamization of the world is because the Left and Islam have so damn much in common — most especially unthinking, irrational adherents who believe in destroying the world and watching it burn in order to “save it”.
Liberals, mercifully, are just 20% of the population in this country. But, they have a disproportionate influence on the nation because of the Media, which is a very real de facto arm of the DNC. Now that the Left controls the DNC completely, it controls the Media completely as well, and hence a coordinated push to pass Cap & Tax and tank the US economy permanently.
Cap & Tax is hard for regular, nonpolitical, non-news-reading people to understand…and that’s deliberate on the part of the Left.
Our mission needs to be finding ways to show ordinary working Americans that Democrats are trying to pass the largest tax in history, a tax that will send heating and electric bills through the roof…a tax that will make gasoline cost $7.00 a gallon…a tax that will double a family’s grocery bills (as that increased gas cost will be passed onto consumers)…a tax that will shutter factories and all manner of businesses as companies move to India and China to avoid paying new energy fees.
None of this will do anything to positively impact the environment, because our planet’s climate is controlled by solar activity. Increased solar flares and an awakening of our long-dormant sun is raising the Earth’s temperature, just as the temperatures on Mars and the other planets are also increasing. There are no factories that we know of on Mars. There were no factories on Earth during the Middle Ages, when the sun was as active as the period we seem to be entering into.
We are on the verge of a hysterical, apocalyptic cult using the Democrats in Washington to destroy the American economy and ruin American industry while bankrupting millions of American citizens…because of lies Al Gore told in his slideshow and subsequent movie “An Inconvenient Truth”.
The public at large needs to get mobilized against this.
How do we make this happen and save the country?
It’s time for you to put your thinking caps on, and come up with things YOU can do on an individual level to start stirring your individual neighborhoods up against Cap & Tax.
None of us can tackle this on our own: it’s too big, and the people pushing this are backed ultimately by George Soros, who we suspect will make an absolute killing if America goes down for the count. Perhaps China and India are ultimately behind all of this too, since they will be the ones to benefit immensely by taking down the West so they can rise unimpeded.
But, if we can somehow wake the sleeping giant that is regular, Joe Schmoe, America and make these people realize life as they know it will come to an end if Cap & Tax is forced through the way the Obamacare monstrosity was forced through, then we have a fighting chance to stop this.
You need to get creative. You need to think hard. You need to share your ideas in this thread.
Without hyperbolizing in the slightest, folks, this might just be the most important thing you ever do in your lifetime.
How do we stop Cap & Tax…as a coast to coast army of small individuals whose duty it is to wake a sleeping giant?
