THEORY: Was the US 2010 Census used to prop up the Post Office by sending so much redundant, wasteful mail to every America?
Here’s a theory we’d love your help researching.
Last night, we were all talking about the crazy amount of mail everyone’s received about the 2010 Census. We don’t remember this much mail in 2000, or in 1990, the other two censuses we were aware enough to take note of.
The Census mailed letters advising Americans a census was happening. Then, the government sent letters asking if the first letters were received. It seems letters were sent informing the public that more letters would be coming telling them to expect letters that would give further details about expecting more letters, and what to do if they needed more letters to read while the other letters were still being delivering.
Now, there are letters coming to follow up on each of the previous letters.
That’s an awful lot of postage.
Hey — wasn’t the USPS recently complaining that it was insolvent and imploding as an institution?
Were all of the letters the Census sent out a scam for Democrats to funnel Census-dedicated money into the USPS, by way of a massive infusion of postage?
Who was the recipient of all the printing costs that went into those letters?
Having mailings on that scale printed is NOT cheap. In perspective, to do a relatively small mailing for a private event here in Chicago to about 1,000 people or so, it would easily be $1,500 or more. Writing the letter, proofing it, printing it, stuffing it, stamping it, sending it out. It’s a LOT of money.
Hence the popularity of email lists.
Who got the contract to send out all those Census letters?
How much did the USPS make off the Census mailings?
Why were so many letters needed in the first place, if they weren’t intended as some sort of pork barrel graft for interested parties?
Can anyone shed some light on this?
ACTION ITEM: Here is how we stop the Mega-Mosque at Ground Zero. By filling lower Manhattan surrounding the mosque's site with pig-themed public art.
A copy of this Florence statue needs to be built on giant scale, a story taller than the "Mega-Mosque", directly across the street from where this mosque is supposed to go.
These pigs were all part of an art exhibit in Cleveland. Just imagine 3,000 of them lining the streets surrounding the proposed site of the Mega-Mosque...like a giant herd of pigs marching to mosque. Each pig will be personalized with the story of one person murdered by Muslims on 9.11.
Currently, Muslims are attempting to build “a Mega-Mosque” near the site of the World Trade Center — to celebrate the murder of 3,000 Americans by Muslims on 9/11/01 by installing a mosque near Ground Zero as Islam’s way of claiming victory over America. Having a mosque so near the site of Islam’s worst attack on America, where their call to prayer will echo out into the streets where thousands of people ran for their lives on the day “The Religion of Peace” decided to prove, yet again, how peaceful it really is would be beyond shameful. It’s an absolute disgrace.
Here’s how we stop it folks — and all it will take will be enough wealthy conservative, independent, and moderate private individuals in New York City to commission public works of art to line all the sidewalks in a three block radius of where that “Mega-Mosque” is supposed to be built.
Pig sculptures.
Pig fountains.
Pig murals.
A vast procession of pigs leading straight to where this Mega-Mosque is supposed to be built, so that any Muslims making a pilgrimage to this building to celebrate the murders on 9/11 will appear to join all of those giant pigs headed straight for the mosque as well.
If the Muslims have obtained city zoning permits and all the necessary paperwork to build this abomination, and if it’s really true that no one can stop them, then the only thing left to do is to make that location undesirable to them for a mosque.
Pigs are considered undesirable in Islam. Muslims are not allowed to touch them, be near them, eat them, or have anything else to do with them.
Surely they would not want to make their pilgrimages to a building that’s aggressively surrounded by pig sculptures.
New Yorkers can easily justify the placement of these sculptures with some sort of connection to slaughterhouses, butcher shops, or other such relics in lower Manhattan’s past. Even an especially delicious deli will do. Ever eat a really great ham sandwich in the food court of the buildings Muslims blew up on 9/11? Let’s commemorate it with 3,000 sculptures of pigs lining every possible inch of the three block radius around this mosque. One pig for each man, woman, and child killed by Muslims that day.
Once, we had a very delicious breakfast that included both bacon AND Canadian ham at Windows on the World, the restaurant Muslims destroyed on 9/11 that used to sit atop the Trade Center. We ate that breakfast around 10am a few days before Muslims destroyed the building. Our friend Jane was at that breakfast, because she worked in one of the Towers.
Jane hasn’t had a breakfast since 9/11, because she died that day.
She was murdered by Muslims.
No more bacon, Canadian or otherwise, for her ever again.
We’d love to commemorate that final breakfast with Jane by immortalizing the bacon we ate with her that last time — erecting giant pig sculptures in Manhattan, perhaps with one bearing the story of Jane and that breakfast on its big, piggy, belly.
Perhaps every sculpture should contain a personal story about pigs, bacon, other breakfast meats, and ham sandwiches shared by the families of all those innocents that Muslims killed in the name of Allah on 9/11. Surely each of the victims’ family members could conceive of a poignant pig-related tale to share with the world by having it carved into a massive pig sculpture. Hell, Charlotte’s Web has been a favorite for generations.
Many of the moms and dads killed by Muslims on 9/11 read that story to their children, perhaps even on 9/10, when they sent their sons and daughters to bed for the last time, dreaming of sweet Charlotte and industrious Wilbur…waking up to a nightmare that’s never ended the next morning, when their parents were killed in the Trade Center attack.
Islam is a bully without tact, grace, respect, dignity, or sense.
It’s mission is clear to us in the site it selected for this Mega-Mosque.
The only thing bullies like Muslims understand is pushback.
If we don’t want the Scientology of the Middle Ages to build a mosque somewhere, we need to make that area undesirable to Muslims…we can think of no better way to instantly do this than to fill that area with poignant memories of all those murdered by Muslims on 9/11, carried towards that mosque on the bellies and hides of 3,000 colorful, impossible to miss, ginormous, permanently installed, PIGS.
Oh, Muslims and the Left will howl and wail over this idea.
But we tell you that every day you must think outside the box to defeat Islam. These are people who spend all day memorizing the demented ravings of a pedophile from the Middle Ages. They’re upset to the point of madness by cartoons. They can be driven out of a room by the merest whiff of bacon — like vampires fleeing from garlic or holy water.
Those pigs would be like 3,000 crosses burning their vampire eyes, driving them away in legion. Howling, wailing, their bedsheets and towels flapping in the wind, racing as fast as they can to escape the ridiculous optic insult of porcine grace, beauty, and deliciousness.
Ironically enough, this is just like what Vlad Tepes did to the Muslims that invaded his native Transylvania — back when Europeans didn’t accept dhimmihood, and knew how to defend their cities from hordes of backwards, hostile invaders. Tepes didn’t erect pig sculptures to keep the Muslims at bay. He had more creative and drastically less-PC ways of handling them, involving pikes, and all manner of Draculian impaling originality.
Tepes built a mighty castle, imposing and frightening, to scare the Muslims away…and it worked pretty damn well back in his day.
Since everything old ends up being new again, why not build an enormous Mega-Pig directly across from the Mega-Mosque…a pig a full story taller than the mosque, so that it’s unclean shadow would forever block the sun from shining upon the monstrosity Islam wants to build near Ground Zero?
Instead of spitting water out of its mouth like the Florence statue at the top, is there a way this pig could be depicted urinating or vomiting in the general direction of the mosque? Is it possible to direct a fire-hose grade stream of yellow water straight at the mosque, stopping right at its property line, but guaranteeing the bacon-scented mist from the statue would drench all Muslims attempted to enter the mosque?
How appealing would this Mega-Mosque be to Islam if there was no possible way to ever photograph or visit it without having thousands of pigs, including one mighty Hogzilla, plastered all over the photos? That sure would defeat whatever propaganda value Islam hoped to score by building this thing so near Ground Zero.
The most amazing thing about this plan is that you know in your hearts it would actually work. It’s left field. It’s nuts. It’s ballsy (especially if that whole urination thing could be pulled off with the giant male hog…with a penis so big and imposing it would captivate President Obama and Rahm Emanuel for DAYS if erected and positioned in such a way they could gape lovingly at it undisturbed, drooling and drooling and drooling into the puddling yellow-dyed water raining forever from above).
Islam wants a Mega-Mosque.
We want more pig sculptures than have ever been assembled in one place to surround that mosque.
If one intensely insane project can come to fruition — why not the other?
Care to suggest this idea to Pamela Gellar, Rush Limbaugh, Dennis Miller, and others out there who would see the potential for really driving Islam insane with this?

PHOTOSHOP CHALLENGE: Need cucumbers-and-mayonnaise sandwich versions of male 2012 GOP contenders
We wish we as a site existed in 2006 to stop the DNC from taking the Democrat nomination for president away from Hillary Clinton and awarding it to Obama — if we had an internet presence then, we would have done everything we could think of to derail Obama’s campaign before it ever began, before the DNC decided to make him the next president. We will forever be haunted by the fact that we can never have the last four years to do over again.
So, every day we want to do as much as possible to prevent Obama from winning a second term. His radical agenda must be stopped. We will put every idea we have for preventing his re-election out there, and ask for as much creative support as possible to do whatever we can to stop all those who are either pushing for Obama, or who are backing Republicans we know have no chance in Hell of beating Dr. Utopia.
We believe the RNC is already conspiring to make Mitt Romney or Tim Pawlenty the 2012 Republican nominee — this would be an unmitigated disaster, as we do not believe either of these man can beat Obama. If not Romney and Pawlenty, the RNC appears to be pushing Mitch Daniels, John Thune, and John Huntsman as well.
All of these men are about as exciting and energizing as soggy cucumbers-and-mayonnaise sandwiches on Wonderbread, dipped in skim milk and served on frilly doilies. They are all natural born losers.
Anyone who wants to see Obama defeated needs to stop the RNC from doing to Sarah Palin what the DNC did to Hillary Clinton — namely, screw her out of the party’s nomination.
We will repeat the cucumbers-and-mayoinnaise Vichyssoise Republicans line as much as possible between now and 2012 — until it sticks against Romney and the other half dozen political dwarves the RNC, DNC, and Lamestream Media dream of pitting against Obama in a losing contest.
We would like to have a few images of these men to use going forward, which we hope will become iconic and spread through the web. Here’s what we’d like to see, for all those with the photoshop skills to put something together:
(1) We’d like to see a set of cucumbers-and-mayonnaise sandwiches that have been cut with a gingerbread man cookie cutter, so they look like little men. These men are all holding hands in a straight line, like the men in a chain of paper dolls. The little sandwich men are displayed on a fancy table setting of some kind, like that found at a country club. There are stacks of regular cucumbers and mayonnaise sandwiches on the table as well…additionally, there is a jar of mayonnaise, some whole and sliced cucumbers, and a carton of skim milk on the table. The carton of milk has a “WANTED” picture on one side, where the MISSING CHILD picture is on some milk cartons. The WANTED picture is Sarah Palin…and under her picture there’s the wording ”Sarah Palin — The Candidate Who Can Actually Beat Obama in 2012″. If you can come up with a better tagline, please add to the thread.
(2) In another version of this, the sandwiches are whole, but the faces of Romney, Pawlenty, Thune, Huntsman, and Daniels are all watermarked on the bread…or otherwise appear, as if their faces are made of sandwich bread. These sandwiches are on a tray in the Oval Office…with Obama sitting at the Resolute Desk, with his feet up, preparing to devour them all. If that’s too hard to pull off, just a tray of the sandwiches with these men’s faces on them would work.
(3) A picture of Romney, Pawlenty, Thune, Huntsman, and Daniels all in a 50s retro kitchen, making cucumber and mayonnaise sandwiches, and making a big mess fumbling and bumbling doing it. We can use this in the future as part of a “Sarah Palin’s needed to clean up the mess” meme.
We think the tag “cucumbers-and-mayonnaise-Vichysoisse Republicans” will stick to the Romney bunch.
It’s a proactive, prescient, and preventative strike against the RNC’s efforts to pull that “It’s his turn” sausagefest garbage and award the nomination to Romney, because Republicans are so good at losing, why stop now.
It’s our sincere hope that both Romney and Pawlenty have sense talked into them between now and 2012 and realize that they won’t win, and that they should both get behind Sarah Palin now, and help her run her general election campaign from Day One, never having to bother with a contested primary. Obama will be running his general election campaign from Day One as we don’t anticipate Hillary Clinton or anyone else challenging him. Thus, while Romney, Pawlenty, and the cucumbers and mayonnaise gang drain Palin’s resources in another “all the boys against the woman” round of primaries, just like the Democrats did to Hillary in 2008, Obama will be sailing towards his re-election with the media working 24/7 to first make Romney or Pawlenty the Republican nominee, and then once that’s secured, kicking into hyperdrive to destroy Romney or Pawlenty as the nominee so that Obama is granted his “historic and unprecedented second term”.
We can stop this, folks.
Together.
But we need your artistic help. We need big mouths to help us spread the imagery and branding that Romney, Pawlenty, et al are the Cucumbers-and-Mayonnaise-Vichysoisse Republican gang of losers.
If we do this, we’ll be a step ahead before the rest of the country starts even thinking about 2012.

Clue #5,672 Mitt Romney will never be president: no one is rallying to save his home from demolition
Is this the way to treat a future president's home? Yes -- if the man is not a future president.
Detroit’s tearing down Mitt Romney’s childhood home as part of its project to transform a failed Leftist-controlled city of abandoned buildings into a failed Leftist-controlled collection of vacant lots and weed-choked rubble.
Here’s what we find really interesting about this: if Sarah Palin’s childhood home was going to be torn down, don’t you think someone out there in the Palin-supporting community would pool resources to buy it and turn it into some kind of a clubhouse, at least, for her supporters…if not a campaign office for 2012?
If Hillary Clinton’s childhood house in Park Ridge, Illinois was going to be torn down, you bet your pantsuit we’d raise Hell about it…as we did all we could, every day, 24/7 to raise the money to buy that house so that part of Clinton’s history was not lost. Whether she wanted us to or, not, we’d do something about that travesty…and we’d probably end up moving Buzzquarters out of the heart of Boystown and out to Park Ridge. Because we have a strong enough loyalty to Clinton, and support her enough, to make sure this didn’t happen to the place she grew up.
So, where are all the Romney guys when this is happening?
They have to know what’s going on.
Why aren’t they mobilizing to stop this from happening to Mitt’s childhood home — if these guys really think he can become president.
Richard Nixon’s childhood home was moved to his Yorba Linda presidential library. Bill Clinton’s childhood home was saved and preserved. Efforts are under way in Hawaii, apparently, to turn some apartment Obama lived in as a budding young socialist into a kind of temple for his cult of personality.
So, where’s the Mitt love?
This is telling because Mitt Romney does not have the support for a presidential run that the media would like you to believe. All of the Romney guys we know here in Chicago are the khaki pants and blue blazer-wearing, cocktail party going, Young Republican types who aspire to play golf, advance their careers, and have their pictures taken with as many famous Republicans as possible. They also all claim they are straight — but after enough of those cocktail parties, all of us here know that’s not true. And that’s not just the ones currently serving terms in Congress.
That’s ALL the Romney guys.
A Romney 2012 run is a non-starter, folks.
His childhood home being demolished is proof of this. If this man was destined to become president someday, this would not be happening.

The Mega-Mosque at Ground Zero will be a turning point in the Resistance to Islam
If you haven’t been following the farcical tragedy that is the redevelopment of Ground Zero in New York, please read Pamela Gellar’s excellent compilation of backstory on one sliver of the insanity.
It’s beyond ridiculous the Twin Towers were not rebuilt, taller than ever, as Donald Trump suggested, immediately after Muslims destroyed them on 9/11/01. Next year will be the ten year anniversary of Islam’s most deadly attack upon the West. Ground Zero is still a dusty hole in Manhattan. For whatever reason, the bumbling Leftist bureaucrats in New York City haven’t managed to get their act together and remedy that.
Entering into this profound void of sense and leadership, Muslims have seized an opportunity to build a Mega-Mosque near the World Trade Center site, as a symbol of Islam’s conquest of America.
They believe this is like planting a flag, where Muslims can make pilgrimage to this mosque and celebrate the murder of so many people nine years ago, in the name of Allah. They want to build their mosque in this specific spot, similar to the mosques built in Jerusalem to co-opt particular sites dear to the Jews. This is what Islam does, and has been doing since its pedophile founder invented this cult, the Scientology of the Middle Ages, and directed it to conquer and subvert all dhimmis before it.
We also believe Islam will one day go too far with its plan of conquest, and regular people who don’t pay any attention to what’s going on in the world outside of what they read in The National Enquirer or watch on Entertainment Tonight will wake up to what’s going on and push back hard against Islam.
This is not Europe.
Americans will not stand for a Mega-Mosque at Ground Zero.
If Democrats in New York do not stop this, the entire state could very well go Republican over this. Just watch.
The Democrat Party is in grave danger of destroying itself for many reasons, but one of the chief dangers it faces in The Golden Age of Hope and Change is paying homage to Islam and bowing to Muslims across the globe – literally, in the sense of the current president. Islam is at war with the West, in the same way that Hitler’s Reich and the Soviet Union were at war with America. The Nazis had the courtesy of declaring actual war, and look what good that did them. Lady Liberty rolled up her sleeves and delivered one hell of a beat down.
The Soviets were smarter, and instead waged a Cold War against us, trying their best to subvert America and bleed us with a thousand cuts in proxy wars around the globe. Ronald Reagan had a thing or two to say about that, and the Soviet Empire crumbled.
Islam, seeing what’s been tried and failed in the past, has been ingenious enough to realize that no nation-state can battle the United States and survive politically. Not even as large an empire as the Soviets. Even using proxies like the Soviets did, the core ultimately crumbled because Americans had a readily identifiable Russian enemy to focus on. So, Muslims attack the west under no flag, with no borders, no capital city, and no single leader — so they are harder to qualify as a traditional enemy.
That makes it easier for Leftists to apologize for them, the way these same Leftists used to promote communism in America during the Cold War and argue for surrender to Moscow.
These days, the Left is engaged in a sustained and coordinated effort to advance Islam in this country, the way it’s been pushed in Europe, to destroy the West via this Fifth Column.
It’s going to fail because we believe Americans tolerate the Left, instead of the Left controlling this country. Liberals are less than 20% of the population. Americans are a forgiving and generous people by nature. They are a father and mother at the wheel of an old-time station wagon, on a leisurely drive, with a bunch of kids in the backseat. There’s squabbling, noise, and ruckus, and the car just keeps moving forward, despite the occasion admonishment from the driver’s seat.
But, one of those kids could conceivably do something so bad that Mom and Dad stop the car, get out, and whoop some bratty ass.
That’s what’s going to happen to the Left, sooner rather than later.
We think the Left, and the Democrat Party by extension, is in serious danger of making that happen with its support of Islam.
When Muslims finally do something bad enough that Americans stop the car, and Mom and Dad turn around and look at what’s been going on in the backseat, they are going to see Democrats and Muslims together, equally sharing the blame for whatever’s transpired.
Just call Democrats the Whigs after that.
And just call Muslims toast, on a global scale.
A tipping point is going to come…and it could very well be this Mega-Mosque at Ground Zero. This is an outrage that has legs. If Republicans and the Tea Party Independents can get behind the effort to block this monstrosity, and force Democrats to openly support the effort to construct such an abomination, then we just don’t see how Democrats could ever win an election in New York again.
Have you been to New York since 9/11? Previously we thought nothing on Earth could shake that liberal state’s devotion to the cult of the Left, but nine years later 9/11 is still so raw for everyone we know in the entire Empire State that if Democrats do not get behind the effort to stop this Mega-Mosque and instead side with Muslims and the would-be Global Caliphate, then all bets are off in terms of how the Democrat Party survives.
If they lose New York, and all the revenue that streams into the DNC from Manhattan, then the party is over for Democrats.
