A very personal plea, for our nation
Today, the lot of us did something we haven’t done in a very long while.
We went into a little Catholic church here in Boystown, and we lit every candle in the place, dropping a good $50 in the donation tin for all that fire and wax.
For us, who grew up Catholic but don’t consider ourselves religious at all anymore, it was kind of like visiting the Bulgarian or Icelandic embassies — we felt like strangers on foreign soil in many ways, but were welcomed all the same.
It was Panda’s idea to do this, because he said, “Well, it’s not going to hurt, is it? The worst that could happen would be we’d set something on fire accidentally, which would be bad, but they have all that holy water around, so it would work itself out.”
We lit the candles to pray for America.
Democrats, wholly controlled by the Left, are committed to destroying this country. They want to tank the economy so the current president can declare himself God-Emperor and remake the nation in the mold of the failed socialist states of Europe or the dictatorial banana republics of the third world.
In school, we were taught our Founders considered America a great shining city on a hill, favored and blessed by God high up above, to lead the world in prosperity and democracy.
As kids, our grandparents told us how hard they all fought when the Emperor of Japan and the most evil man who’d ever lived, the Reich’s Fuhrer, waged war to destroy that city on a hill. And every last one of them fought back, in their own way. In the army. In factories. With the USO. In the OSS. They did their parts, and they saved the world.
Well, all of those grandparents have passed on. Several good friends have also headed Home. Panda’s mom and dad, in fact, are up there too.
We lit all those candles tonight to get all of their attention, along with all the saints who will listen, and the spirits of our great and wise Founders. We sent our prayers out there to every hero of the Republic…to every man and woman who fell on a battlefield defending Old Glory…to every soul lost here on the homefront doing his or her part to protect and defend Lady Liberty…to every American of the past who loved this country more than anything.
We asked every last one of them to hear us tonight, and to mobilize in the world unseen to do whatever they could to stop Democrats from destroying this country.
We’re usually resolutely cheerful and as unemotional as possible around here. We’re not guys who cry often, no matter how bad things get, but we’ve never known of a time in history when America itself was in so much peril.
The Left is closer to its goals of destroying this country and rendering it “just another nation amongst 190 out there”. Perhaps the Devil itself, should it exist, is close to its own goal of smashing that city on a hill that’s endured for 233 years to lead the world to freedom and prosperity unparalleled in all history.
If the forces of darkness, socialism, and downright evil are so thoroughly mobilized, we hope the powers of good are aware of what’s going on. We hope armies of angels are in flight inspiring as many people as possible to resist the Democrats, to fight back, and to save this nation.
We needed to embrace emotion tonight.
Later this evening, we’ll get back to the bare-bones, by the books, strategy of organizing our idea to put enormous pressure on the wealthy donors who fund the DNC…to stop this madness immediately and rein Congress in. Because, that’s who we are. That’s how we can help.
But, we just love this country so much. We don’t want it to slide backwards. We don’t want the Left to gleefully destroy what generations before us fought so hard for.
We think of our grandparents staring down Hitler and Hirohito, and countless other villains, and socking them right in the face.
That’s what America should do to the despicable narcissist in the White House and the two reckless, ignorant, socialists in charge of the House and Senate currently.
If it doesn’t offend you to ask this, please pray for America tonight. Ask your friends to pray, too. Tomorrow, light some candles in your churches and ask the little old ladies in there to pray for our nation too.
We’re in trouble, people.
Deep trouble.
Worse than this nation has ever faced, because those who want to do America harm are not in Berlin and Tokyo, but in Washington itself.
They must be stopped.
We must pray that everyone has the strength collectively to form the Resistance needed to do that.
Please pray for our nation.

Please pray we all have the strength to do our part to stop this madness.

Just imagine how mad the Queen of Farts will be when toady Rahm Emanuel lisps the news that Gallop has crossed the historic and unprecedented line today where now, officially, more people DISAPPROVE of this administration than approve of what it’s doing to this country.

We really want someone in New York to chime in on this — and please explain what exactly the GOP is doing with Rick Lazio, a man whose own family probably won’t vote for him, because he’s such an unlikeable ass.
Crain’s just ran a big story on Lazio’s anemic fundraising. The Cliff’s notes is that he’s got only $600,000 in his gubernatorial war chest. That’s ridiculous, considering this man once worked at J.P. Morgan. He should be rolling in dough, just using his old Morgan email lists to raise cash. If you worked at a big firm like that, with deep pockets, and your former colleagues do not see to it you have a few million in your campaign coffers, that means you were hated at the place you once worked.
If people who have a vested interest in you — ie, that shared Morgan connection could lead to big jobs for them through networking, so it’s in their best interests to help you become Governor — won’t even support you, and the Manhattan social set is not falling over itself to pile cash your way, then how do you expect to connect with regular voters?
If Lazio wins the GOP nomination for Governor, he’s going to embarrass himself more than HRH Princess Caroline of Kennedy did in her vainglorious power grab for a Senate seat in 2008. Only, Princess’ shambles of a campaign was hilarious. Lazio’s will be just plain SAD, allowing smug little punk Andrew Cuomo to dance right into the Governor’s mansion, not breaking a sweat.
In our opinion, Lazio’s political career ended in 2000 when he threw that tantrum in his debate against Hillary Clinton. Remember when he grabbed a bunch of sweaty papers from inside his jacket and tried to throw them at the First Lady? Secret Service reached for their guns, the man seemed so unhinged. Then, he started burbling and babbling, got all red-faced, and demanded Clinton autograph the papers for him, as a souvenir, or something. It was beyond weird.
Clinton just stared at him, in the way that she does, which we love. She backed away a little, the way we do when confronted by a wild animal, or Oprah loose on the streets of Michigan Avenue an hour before snack time. Don’t want to lose any fingers or get rabies.
Lazio lost the race right there and then. People still laugh about it. No one will ever forget it. In short, he did to himself what HRH Princess Caroline of Kennedy did to herself in 2008: ruined whatever opinion people had, and forever cemented the worst impression people could conjure.
It seems like he was just as nutty at J.P. Morgan — or else those people would be donating to his campaign.
This is also why we think Alexi Giannoulias will drop out of the Senate race in Illinois. No one is giving him any money because he is such an ass…and is all mobbed up.
The fundraising numbers are a great crystal ball as to what’s going to happen in races like this.
It sure looks like either Lazio’s going to be replaced, like Giannoulias, or the GOP just doesn’t want the Governor’s mansion so they’re going to let Cuomo win, for whatever reason. In that case, they probably figure they don’t want to ruin the future of a good candidate they want to run later, so they’ll let Lazio embarrass himself and be creamed, Washington Generals style.
Question: How is what the Democrats are doing NOT taxation without representation?
Here’s a question we have today: if Democrats force legislation through Congress unconstitutionally, without the House actually voting on it, how is that not taxation without representation?
Our logic is this:
* the Healthcare Rationing demands new taxes, and the spending of vast amounts of tax dollars
* the Members of the House were sent to Washington to represent their constituents
* if the House does not vote on these new tax measures related to the rationing of healthcare, then how are the people being represented?
* didn’t the 13 original colonies break free from England because they were being taxed and dictated to similarly without representation?
Can you make a valid argument that what the Leftists in power now are doing is any different from what Mad King George did in the 1700s?

It’s an amazing coincidence of fate that the most un-American, unpatriotic, and unappealing woman we can think of is named Michelle — and happens to be our current First Lady — while the most pro-American, patriotic, and wonderful woman we can think of is also named Michele. One less “L” in a name sure makes one “Hell” of a difference.
Obama vs. Bachmann.
Crass vs. CLASS.
One woman from Minnesota. A mom. Leading the charge where her male counterparts are afraid to tread.
She is a warrior queen with a Blackberry. Artemis in Ann Taylor. The modern day equivalent of Mercy Otis Warren, Abigail Adams, Betsy Ross, Dolley Madison, and every great, patriotic woman from the past — and then some.
The Leftist media has ordered a complete blackout of all coverage relating to the illegal maneuvers Pelosi is making in the House, just as the MSM blacked-out all coverage of the collapse of the Church of Anthropogenic Global Warming. They refused to cover Climategate because it would hurt Democrats. They refuse to cover the unconstitutional “Slaughter Slam” end-run on the Constitution because that would hurt Democrats too.
Well, Michele Bachmann is a modern-day Paulette Revere.
Help her.
If you love your country, you love your children, and you love your life as you know it, help her.
Email this article to everyone you know. Get off your butt and go door to door in your neighborhood and tell everyone you can what Democrats are doing, how they are ripping up the Constitution. Call everyone in your phone. Head down to the grocery store and start talking to strangers. Call your local TV stations and demand they start covering this story.
We believe whatever great and cosmic force flowed through our Founders when they created this nation — the force that has reappeared time and again in all of our great heroes whenever America needed them — is alive and strong in Michele Bachmann.
She is one voice of reason in a sea of fools, lunatics, and impotent, weak men. She’s a mighty force, but she cannot do this alone.

ACTION ITEMS: March 17th, 2010
Here’s what we need done today to help launch and execute the “Pressure the Democrats’ Donors” plan we’ve conceived to open a new front in the Resistance to the Healthcare Rationing bill.
Our logic is simple: the White House, Nancy Pelosi, and Harry Reid have convinced all Democrats in Congress to ignore the public. Phones are off the hook, emails are being deleted, and fax machines are unplugged. Democrats have built a wall between themselves and reality. The public’s ire is smacking right into that wall, but not getting through.
As Democrat fundraisers here in Chicago, we know how to get around that wall: by getting to the Democrats’ large Donors — wealthy people who put on the fundraisers, chair the events, and do all the money bundling that keeps Democrats in office. These people have the private phone numbers the Democrats will indeed answer. It’s been said Democrats spend 5-6 hours a day doing Donor maintenance and fundraising in Congress. That means if we start pressuring the Democrat Donors, they will call Congress and the DNC to report the public’s coming after THEM now. And they won’t like that one bit.
These are wealthy socialites and large law firms, neither of which wants the public calling, faxing, and emailing them. They donate in the shadows for their own personal vanity in most cases: that money will dry up if the public starts directing some of its ire at the people who fund all this madness by writing big checks to the DNC and Democrats in office.
Today we need the following five things accomplished:
(1) Use this thread, and find the largest donors for the 8 Democrats listed as “Maybe” by sites like Ace of Spades.
(2) Use this thread, and find the largest donors for the 31 Democrats listed there.
(3) In comments below, think of good verbiage to use in letters, emails, faxes, and phone calls to the Democrat Donors as we identify them. Remember: always be polite, professional, and use excellent grammar. Keep your message short, and ask these wealthy people why they are funding the Socialist takeover of this country. Ask them why they gave so much money so Democrats could shred the Constitution and attempt to illegally ram bills through Congress without voting on them. Ask these Donors why they raised so much funds to tank the US economy. Tell them you are going to write to all of their neighbors and anyone who does business with them, letting them know how they have been spending their money and what they are trying to achieve by putting Leftists into office. Tell them they are terrible human beings and that you will pray for their sanity to be restored.
(4) Contact people like Rush Limbaugh, Greta van Susteren, Michelle Malkin, Bill O’Reilly, Dennis Miller, Tammy Bruce, and others to spread this “Contact Dem Donors” idea as far as possible. It’s thinking outside the box, and opening an unexpected front for Democrats. These people are stressed and unhinged just dealing with the public — imagine the extra stress we would put on them if suddenly their Donors start calling, panicked, demanding to do whatever needs to be done to call the public off.
(5) Contact everyone involved in the Tea Party movement and make this idea viral…get them to research and contact the major Democrat Donors in their areas too. If, nationwide, wealthy Democrat Donors coast to coast started catching Hell from the general public, the DNC switchboards will start lighting up, and Congress members’ cell phones will start melting. We guarantee it.

We want private individuals making large contributions, not something like Kraft or AT&T. Ignore labor unions and others completely in the tank for the Left. Law firms are EXCELLENT targets, as they will drop a politician quickly if his or her actions start eating into their billable hours like this.

What law firms bundle money for these people?
These eight Democrats depend on large contributions to fund their campaigns. The people who make these contributions do so in the shadows, outside the public glare. Congress has been avoiding and ignoring direct contact with the public: phones have been taken off the hook, emails deleted unread, and fax machines are unplugged. It is difficult for the public to get through to Congress directly.
Our strategy is to take an indirect route to get to these Congressmen.
Through their Donors.
Let’s hit FEC records, OpenSecrets, and Google to search for the names and contact information for the wealthy people who put on the large fundraisers that keep the eight people above in Congress.
Who chairs their fundraising committees?
Who hosts their large events?
What names keep popping up in any article about banquets, fundraisers, or other political events these Congressmen attend?
We guarantee you these wealthy people and firms do not want the public calling them to tell them how unconstitutional and illegal it is for Democrats to be doing the things they are doing in Washington. We need to tell them the public will hold these individuals accountable for what Congress is doing, since it is their money that is funding all of this madness. If they ponied up all that cash to send the eight men above to Congress, then they bear culpability for their actions.
These wealthy people have private numbers to reach the eight men above the general public does not have access to. They can be much more persuasive than the average citizen.
Thus, if the public outs and pressures Democrats’ large Donors, the Donors will then make panicked calls to the DNC and Congress, and we get through on a level the DNC never expected us to.
