Please read the latest Sarah Palin hit piece over at the sausagefest that is RedState — a place we like for most things, but have to call out on a regular basis for being such myopic Eeyores.
Now, when reading anything at sites like RedState, you need to realize how many “Romney guys” are entrenched practically everywhere in the Republican junior ranks. They are a very subversive lot, with a loyalty to Mitt as deep and strong as our own loyalty to Hillary. Here in Chicago, most of the young Republican guys we worked with during the McCain campaign were Romney guys who wanted to beat Dr. Utopia, for sure, but who weren’t all that terribly upset on election night because they planned to start Romney 2012 efforts the next day.
We comiserated that night in the hotel suite with them after McCain’s concession, brokenhearted we wouldn’t be starting Hillary 2012 that morning instead. So, we understand these guys. We know the love of a candidate and the lengths loyalists will go to for that person.
It is our firm belief Romney guys are working to stop a Sarah Palin 2012 campaign even harder than the MSM is working on Dr. Utopia’s behalf to stop Palin.
It is a similar situation to what we Hillary Dems faced in 2008, where the DNC elite and MSM worked together to stop a woman from being the Democrats’ nominee. We believe, to this day, it wasn’t so much about stopping a Clinton third term as it was stopping a WOMAN from being president.
The same thing is at work now, with the MSM and these Romney guys doing everything they can to halt Palin.
We implore Palin supporters to read the book “Game Change”, looking at the Clinton 2004 and 2008 anecdotes in particular.
Read the story of how the Kennedy Family talked Hillary Clinton out of running for president in 2004…using THE EXACT SAME THINGS the Romney guys are saying to Palin today. “We have a chance to beat this guy, and you’re divisive and not ready, so you should wait. If Kerry loses, then you can have it in 2008. We promise. Wink wink wink.”
Then read the story of how Chuck Schumer stabbed Hillary in the back and encouraged Dr. Utopia to run against her, joining the other men in the DNC to shunt her to the side.
This is EXACTLY what the Romney guys are trying to do to Palin.
We truly hope the Gov does to the RNC what she did to the Republican party in Alaska: she needs to stop listening to these idiots, do her own thing, root out the biggest fools and dispose of them, and run her own show for 2012.
We believe the TV show she’s producing with Mark Burnett on the wonders of Alaska will be Reaganesque in its reach of regular people. Conservatives will love it, but so will independents. Far leftists won’t watch it, the same way they don’t watch FOX, but claim they hate FOX anyway. So, without even seeing the series, leftists will hate it. But, there is no getting those people to do anything but hate every Republican blindly, no matter who it is.
Moderate and conservative Democrats, however, will watch the show too, to see what the fuss is about. If it’s informative, well-produced, and showcases Palin’s Alaska, we believe it will become a cultural phenomenon. We foresee Alaskan imagery everywhere in 2011. Which is a wonderful setup for the Palin brand in 2012.
Late 2010-early 2011 is also when Palin’s next book is due: a policy book on American Virtues. That will be coupled with a book tour that should end round about February 6th, 2011, the day we believe Palin will announce her presidential run.
Essentially, the tour bus she uses for the book will just be slightly rebranding as PALIN 2012, instead of AMERICAN VIRTUES.
Chances are, American Virtues will actually be her campaign motto.
We can see the branding and marketing already at work.
Palin’s playing 11th dimensional chess that RedState’s not seeing, because it’s so focused on Romney, or dazzled by his Mattel-produced hair.
She’s operating a fully-formed multimedia strategy designed to counter Dr. Utopia’s razzle dazzle and media darling status. She knows in her heart Americans will want a true conservative in office in 2012, one who is smart enough to focus on jobs, the economy, energy independence, and limited government instead of allowing the media to degenerate the debate into social issues. The media is going to do everything it can to control the debate in 2012, doing its level best to hand Dr. Utopia a second term on a silver platter.
The ONLY Republican we see on the field who can take charge of the debate is Palin.
She merely mentions something on Facebook and it derails the White House for three days.
She writes something she wants to talk about on her hand, and it drives the Left so nuts that’s all they talk about for weeks…tricking them into getting her message out there when they think they are making fun of her.
Mitt Romney could hold a dozen nuns hostage at knife point in the middle of a crowded shopping mall and hardly anyone would notice. MAYBE the media would report on it, if a semi-famous rapper happened to be nearby, like with Romney’s recent altercation on an airplane.
Romney could set himself on fire and perform nude Cirque du Soleit acrobatics on live television and most of the country would still not pay any attention to him.
In 2012, Palin would control what she wanted to talk about and would be a proactive campaigner dictating what the media was forced to cover.
Mitt Romney, or the rest of the stale, tired, losers RedState and other “Romney guy” sites keep pushing would just follow the standard GOP model of reacting to whatever the MSM is pushing…and since the MSM would be pushing whatever made Dr. Utopia look best, the campaign dynamic would be completely different.
Palin would be in charge by the very nature of who she is, and the massive response she gets to every little thing she does. Romney and the others would be at the mercy of fate and media whims, forever tilting the way the wind blew against them, never gaining traction, losing to Dr. Utopia’s re-election machine…of which the media is not just a part, but the core and engine.
We will endeavor for the next two years to make sure we do everything we can to help Sarah Palin. For those of you reading this in Alaska, you tell the Governor she’s got a bunch of Palinites here in Boystown who are on the ground for her already. We’re going to see her on April 17th, so we’re going to tell her all this ourselves…and most importantly we’re going to warn her not to listen to the things said to Hillary Clinton in 2004.
If Clinton had run back then, we think she would have beaten Bush and would be president today, at the close of her second term. But, she listened to people who were dead wrong, and who largely just didn’t want to see a female president.
We do not want Palin to make that same mistake.
Not if we can stop history from repeating itself.
March 10, 2010 at 1:32 pm
Whoa! Rush Limbaugh just predicted that Hillary is going to run against Obama in 2012.
He talked about how she’s staying away from anything that has to do with this White House.
Hmmm.
Interesting.
March 10, 2010 at 1:42 pm
He probably read that here.
March 10, 2010 at 2:37 pm
No…he’s been BEGGING her to run against Obama for a while. Remember he wanted Republicans to vote for Hillary during the primary so she would beat Obama. But it was because he thought McCain had a better chance against Hillary. He didn’t particularly care for McCain either…he just wanted the Republicans to win.
But seriously…My whole feelings have changed about the Clintons. I would be THRILLED if they were in power over the socialist Obama far-left crowd any day. They at least have respect for the American people and give them a voice. Obama does not give a crap about the American people. They may be liberal but I sure would feel a lot safer if they were in power.
I hope, hope, hope upon HOPE that the Clintons stage a coup and kick Obama to the curb. They could do it. Seriously…if healthcare goes down in flames Obama is dead in the water. An absolute failure. The Clintons could EASILY throw him to the curb. You can’t tell me after a decade of power they don’t have any tricks up their sleeves. Especially with Kennedy and Murtha gone.
March 10, 2010 at 4:09 pm
Sorry,I wasn’t clear. I meant the part about about Hillary avoiding the White House in order to keep from being tainted with all the bad juju going on there. HB has been blogging about that for a while. Don’t know if Rush talked about that earlier.
March 10, 2010 at 10:16 pm
I have to agree. Neither I nor my circle of friends have been Hilary supporters. But before the election, I distinctly remember one of my friends saying “At least she will defend America”. Republicans who have historically have been no fans of the Clintons know instinctively that as a nation would be much better off with Hilary at the helm. By now, I think that anyone who is willing to open their eyes and accept the obvious reality would have to come to the same conclusion.
March 10, 2010 at 1:33 pm
Heard that too.
I also think that E Pluribus Unum is a Mittens-loving idiot and plan on telling him so.
March 10, 2010 at 7:12 pm
Really, that whole diary was an attempt to get Palin fans to out themselves so their lovely moderator can ban them. It’s a disgusting community over there.
March 10, 2010 at 1:37 pm
Okay…I agree with you on most of this post.
March 10, 2010 at 1:40 pm
Oh, and about the Romney thing: I talk to some of the conservative MALE bloggers out there, and most of them are sexist pigs that don’t like Palin.
One guy I talked to on the phone, and I said, “Read her damn book, you jerk”.
He promised he would, but I haven’t heard from him in two months.
Oooh, now Rush is saying he’d like Sarah Palin in the White House.
Lead the charge, Rush!!!
March 10, 2010 at 1:40 pm
Rush is just said he would prefer Sarah Palin in the White House over BO. Ha!
March 10, 2010 at 2:03 pm
Damn I missed that!
March 10, 2010 at 2:40 pm
Has anyone heard of the incident where Rush called the Dems “retards” & Sarah made excuses for him, instead of lambasting him like she did to Rahm? I saw an article calling her a hypocrite over this.
Susan
March 10, 2010 at 3:03 pm
He was talking about the story and using it in a much different way than Rahm. She only went after Rahm in the first place, because Special Needs Parents came to her and asked her to speak for them…since she has such a powerful voice. If those groups wanted to do the same to Rush, I’m sure she would.
March 10, 2010 at 3:13 pm
Rush was quoting emanaual pretending to be him. It is apples and oranges.
March 11, 2010 at 12:14 am
Yay! A comment HB can use to highlight “concern trolling” yet again!
March 11, 2010 at 8:23 am
I was just thing the same!! Troll watching can be fun.
March 11, 2010 at 7:30 pm
Yeah. I was thinking that too.
March 11, 2010 at 11:23 am
Good. You know, I wasnt eased with operation chaos during the Democratic primaries. I believe that if Republicans would have stayed out of the Democratic primaries in the states that had open primaries, Clinton would have beat Obama MORE convincingly. She did beat him in the popular vote, even after all of the political shenanigans that occurred during the primaries. She was getting it from the left and the right and she still ended her run strongly. I’m a Democrat who never agreed with the Clintons 100%, but I still recognized their basically pro-American beliefs. I’ll never understand the unadultered hate for them as I never witnessed anything so dreadful coming from them to earn such hate. Yes, it bugs me that Hillary is in the FObama administration, and that Bill has promoted FObama’s healthcare crap, but there’s a fight going on in the Democratic party, and I assume that political realities require those who want to have a say in this fight show relevancy within the party by being active participants. Your names have to be visible in some way, not just to Democrats, but to all others so that Americans at large know where you stand on important issues, and what you’ve done to promote these stands just in case they need to consider you in a future election cycle.
March 11, 2010 at 11:26 am
Make that “wasn’t pleased with…”
March 11, 2010 at 9:19 pm
Not knowing what Rush was asking voters to do, my brother and Sister-in-law in Ohio crossed over to vote for Hillary in the primary. As conservatives we have been scared of Obama from the first time we heard his hopey changey thing. We at least knew what we would get if Hillary won.
March 10, 2010 at 1:42 pm
Disgruntled ex-Democrat here.
I would vote for Palin or Romney. I like both of them.
I think they should be on the same ticket:
Palin has the popularity and Romney has the business/financial resume.
I think the combination would draw in a lot of votes.
March 10, 2010 at 2:04 pm
Palin/Romney is ok with me.
March 10, 2010 at 2:30 pm
I agree. They’d be good together.
March 10, 2010 at 3:02 pm
Just as long as Palin is on top of the ticket. Who I’d really like to see as VP to Palin is one of the young congressmen who have not been polluted yet i.e. Paul Ryan. A gracious smart and pretty woman with executive experience coming out of her ears and a youthful, truthful man of congress who knows where the knives will be coming from. Love it.
March 10, 2010 at 3:14 pm
Palin/Ryan works for me too!
March 10, 2010 at 8:01 pm
Me too… I am becoming a big fan of Ryan.
March 10, 2010 at 10:54 pm
Palin/Ryan I’m there!
March 10, 2010 at 11:43 pm
Sounds like a good combo to me.
March 11, 2010 at 9:15 am
Rep. Paul Ryan has shown up on my radar recently and I agree, a Palin/Ryan ticket could be a WINNER! Both Palin and Ryan have intelligence, energy, and looks.
March 11, 2010 at 3:00 pm
And we all know that looks count in this day and age and in this culture.
My mom used to have a saying for us girls when we were growing up. “Pretty is as pretty does.” [long before Forest Gump talked about "stupid"] By 2012, Obama’s “looks” will be viewed by the public through the lens of what he has done and will try to do. He will be looked at as anti-American ideals; anti-capitalism; anti-business; and with all the taxes coming our way, anti-citizen. It’s happening now with comedians putting on big ears to portray him and speaking in his halting and confusing way.
Anyone running against him with a welcoming smile, a pretty/handsome face, and looks good in their clothes will probably beat him. He has an arrogant, angry, unwelcoming look about him even now.
March 11, 2010 at 7:35 pm
I like a Palin/Ryan ticket too. He seems like a sharp guy and she, of course, is a given.
Heck, I voted for her this last time!
March 10, 2010 at 2:59 pm
Romney has corporate takeover push out the little guy business experience.
Palin has small business ownership experience.
I think Palin takes Romney ONLY if she’s forced to. And I don’t think she’s ever forced to do much.
I’d like her to pair with someone with military experience.
She loves the military and they love her.
The Generals she worked with as AK’s CiC loved her, too. As did her troops in Kuwait and Kosovo and the wounded in Germany and DC, all whom she visited.
Palin/military person is a much better fit than Palin/Rich Romney Big Business Man.
Not to mention that’s governor/governor. Let’s get governor/something else for balance.
Even Reagan/Bush was governor/CIA director.
March 10, 2010 at 3:36 pm
Sarah Palin/General David H.Petraeus
March 10, 2010 at 3:44 pm
Sarah Palin/Lt. Col Allen West
March 10, 2010 at 5:45 pm
Now you’re talkin’ Tamara.
March 11, 2010 at 7:37 pm
That would work too!
Either one, actually- Petraeus or West.
March 11, 2010 at 8:36 am
I do not like Romney. I met the man. He is as plastic as they come. The guy is a big government Republican. We don’t need that.
We need someone who is a different politician – someone who was not born with a silver spoon in her mouth.
We need Sarah!
March 11, 2010 at 11:34 am
As a Democrat, I get the same feeling as you about Romney. Iwasnt that stellar in Massachusetts, either. I do like Sarah Palin, but I would prefer that Palin pick someone other than Romney, who I view a “one world government Obama lite”. Yet, if somehow Republicans were goaded into supporting him as their candidate in 2012, I would still vote for him, unless he was exposed for something terrible within his background. Heck, if the Republicans ran an elephant named Peanuts against Obama, I’d vote for the elephant! Obama must slither back to Chicago ASAP, and the sooner the better!
March 11, 2010 at 11:49 am
“He wasn’t that stellar…”
March 10, 2010 at 1:44 pm
Republicans are losers. They only win when the other side goes off the deep end.
Romney is the next in turn. This is truly the true Republican formula. How pathetic.
Folks want a person with leadership, principles and integrity. They do not want a phony, flip-flopping con man, regardless of how intelligent or presentable.
Folks want someone who earnestly and unabashedly loves this country, and who not only understands how the overwhelming majority lives their lives, but also sees the intelligence, courage, nobility and hard work that goes into that life.
Nothing against plutocrats like Romney – - God bless them, and hope they enjoy their money. They are simply not in tune with the strength of this country.
Leftists are vile, hate driven narcissists who hate this country and the regular folks who love this country.
It’s too bad, but most Republicans are not the ones to lead us against these rabid dogs.
March 10, 2010 at 2:30 pm
You hate the Republicans. You hate the Democrats…a third party is not going to win.
March 10, 2010 at 2:52 pm
I do not and have never hated anybody.
Agreed, a third party is a bad idea. A really bad idea.
I vote for the best person, rarely with any enthusiasm.
I have contributed to Michelle Bachmann because she is someone I can enthusiastically support.
Just because one person is preferable to another, does not mean the preferable person is anything other than preferable.
March 10, 2010 at 8:06 pm
I dont get this… Republicans ALWAYS lose?
Uh.. recent history tells a different story.
Look at the Governors of states.
Clinton is the ONLY 2 term Democrat President in recent history.
In the last 28 years… Republicans 20 years.. Clinton 8.
March 11, 2010 at 12:24 pm
I’ll expand on what Kristi posted—
In the last 58 years
36 (62%) of them have had a Republican POTUS
5 men (6 with Ford completing Nixon’s term), and 4 of them with 2 terms
Bush Senior first 1 term R 28 years.
Of the 22 (38%) years that have had Dems, & the reverse is true, with only Clinton having 2 terms in 58 years… all the rest were 1 term (Johnson completed Kennedy’s term then had one of his own).
March 10, 2010 at 1:47 pm
You guys are such good writers. Loved the line about the nuns.
She might not want to use American Virtues. The target on her back is big enough. Hmmm… On second thought, what would it matter when even her corsages are fodder for criticism?
March 10, 2010 at 2:12 pm
I’ll vote for Romney if he’s the last man standing, but I really really really don’t want to. Same with Huckabee. But Sarah — any day, with joy and elan.
March 11, 2010 at 8:53 am
Yes, yes, and yes.
March 11, 2010 at 1:45 pm
I think I will vomit if it is Huck. I really do not like that man. There is something wrong about him. I do not know what it is.
March 10, 2010 at 2:19 pm
I’m fairly new to this site and am just curious to know what the Hillbuzz boys will do if Hillary runs. Who will they support?
March 10, 2010 at 3:03 pm
Hi Uffda!
Check the archives. The boys have done a coupla’ posts on just this topic.
In essence, if it’s Hillary vs. Sarah, they’re Hillary’s boys. But they won’t denigrate Sarah at all.
If it’s Sarah versus anybody else, then they’re Sarah’s boys.
March 11, 2010 at 8:58 am
Hey, hrh!
Okay. Hopefully Hillary won’t run, because we need these guys.
March 11, 2010 at 7:43 pm
Kevin said on Andrea Shea King’s show that what they would do is support Hillary but do everything they could to make sure it was a fair, issues based fight.
March 11, 2010 at 7:44 pm
Oops. I hit the wrong “reply”. :) I meant to reply to Uffda.
March 10, 2010 at 2:23 pm
If Sarah wins in 2012 the Far Left will spontaneously combust.
March 10, 2010 at 2:41 pm
I think they will combust long before that. Especially if Obama continues to not get a darn thing passed. We’re in over a year and he has accomplished NOTHING…except ticking off 80% of the population.
March 10, 2010 at 3:03 pm
Don’t forget that Nobel Peace Prize. ;)
March 10, 2010 at 2:27 pm

Here’s an interesting twist. A FAKE tea party candidate put in by REID in Nevada to spoil the election. Do these people have ANY moral bounds whatsoever?? I don’t think they do.
March 10, 2010 at 2:47 pm
My husband and I went to the Second City tour group here in Cleveland over the weekend. 75% was hysterical. The other 25% was awful because it was political. And, not even funny political stuff. It was Why-Sarah-Palin-Is-Dumb comedy. Seriously? Is that all you have? Because our current VP is ripe w/ comedic material. But, it really didn’t win over the audience. It was blah. The people next to us left, and I’m hoping that’s why.
But, as we left, I told my husband, the stupid left, in their attempt to destroy her, really are going to get her elected. The more they draw attention to ‘Going Rogue’, the more people are going to read ‘Going Rogue’. That healthcare bill was set to pass last summer, and we watched it unravel thanks to her FB note. A FB note! Go ahead Second City Women. Make fun of her for being stupid. She’s so much smarter than you could even dare dream to be.
March 10, 2010 at 2:49 pm
I think Redstate is looking at the same tired, old political calculus thats driven both parties for the last 40 years. The last person who didn’t play the game was Ronald Reagan and look where he wound up. :-)) I think that Gov. Palin is going somewhat along the same route and going out and the connecting with the people instead kissing the butt of the republican elite. It’s 2 1/2 years till primary season but they want to write her off now instead of facing off against her in a campaign.
March 10, 2010 at 2:51 pm
Sarah is rapidly approaching 1.5 million Facebook followers. Fans of Sarah plan to celebrate this achievement by participating in the “I’M IN FOR $15” Campaign. When Sarah reaches 1.5M fans, please consider donating $15 to SarahPAC.
March 11, 2010 at 8:39 am
I am giving SarahPAC $25 a month for the next 2 years.
I can’t think of a better place to send some money.
Well, except maybe to the Hillbuzz guys!
March 10, 2010 at 3:01 pm
I left a comment over there earlier today – I agree, it’s just people out testing the waters and trying to drum up support.
March 10, 2010 at 3:18 pm
Can you guys forget about Romney already? Romney is another Gulliani-Kerry-Dole-McCain=Failures!
Romney’s business mantra is a myth. We don’t need a millionaire businessman in the White House, we need a common sense, middle class, botton-up candidate that can rally the masses.
Sarah needs some one that appeals to the masses, give her a key state and rallies the core anti Obama values. A VP pick that represents diversity and can take all those diverse voters from Obama. A VP that appeals to the conservative base and has a track record of winning conservative plans A VP that can rally the majority of religious beliefs in the USA”CHristian”(Rubio, Gingrich, Perry, Steel, Thune, Petreus)
Romney will not help Sarah with the Christian right and the pro life movement and will sink her in the south.
March 10, 2010 at 4:05 pm
Obama chose ol’ affable Joe so as not to frighten “whitey”. I’d love to see her up against him with Rubio. Woman, white and Hispanic all on one conservative ticket. The beauty of it would be that it was due to shared values, not group politics. Something the left would willfully not understand.
March 10, 2010 at 5:37 pm
Newt would make me run to the vomitarium. Ryan as Sarah’s VP would be sure winner (my opin.)
March 11, 2010 at 9:39 pm
Gingrich has too many negatives (the way he treated his wife for one). He would make a good cabinet post but not president or VP. The south is going to be so anti-Obama by 2012 that no one could sink Sarah in the South. I liked Romney the best of the possible candidates last go round, but he is no match for Sarah. People just don’t trust him.
March 10, 2010 at 3:24 pm
This is my advice to those Americans who wanted Sara Palin to run 2012 POTUS. “Do not believe in straw polls. Most of these were influenced by Mitt Romney’s supporters and operatives who thinks that Romney is powerful and popular enough to defeat Obama in 2012. I am travelling business person and I know while travelling from one city to another that millions of silent majority Americans want a female president and they are leaning towards Palin or Hillary. The only one who has chance tO beat Obama on 2012 is either Palin or Hillary, and how I wish that a Hillary/Palin ticket is a feasible one. If ever Mitt Romney will win GOP primary, it will be a humiliating defeat for GOP on 2012 and they will surely blame one another for such defeat. MARK MY WORD ON THIS!!!
March 10, 2010 at 6:01 pm
What parts of the country do you travel to for business? What is the demographic of your sales contacts? Just curious…
March 10, 2010 at 10:42 pm
I am automotive business and technical consultant for Mitsubishi and Suzuki Kaizen Group, and I Travelled 45 times in a year to various Suzuki and Mitsubishi dealers from west coast, Midland all the way to the east coast including PR and VI. You can imagine by yourself how car dealers in the United States that carry Mitsubishi and Suzuki.
March 10, 2010 at 10:47 pm
By the way, maybe you will further ask my travel expenses. Well, It is 100% paid for by Japan Kaizen Automotive Society group.
March 11, 2010 at 12:43 pm
With Sarah running Romney already lost Alaska which he won in 2008. One less of his only 11 primaries wins.
March 10, 2010 at 3:29 pm
if Sarah Palin wins POTUS on 2012, I am pretty sure that she will choose and retain Hillary Clinton to be her State Secretay in her cabinet. Why? Sarah Palin has positive impression for Hillary and she has great respect for both Bill and Hillary, the only democrats she gave her respect at present.
March 10, 2010 at 3:34 pm
Wow, you guys use dashes properly. I am a duly-impressed reader.
March 10, 2010 at 9:54 pm
Literacy is a terrible thing to waste. ;-)
March 10, 2010 at 3:55 pm
The only way Hillary/Palin would happen is if Hillary went Independent. Is that possible Hillbuzz? Are the Clintons angry enough with the DNC for their betrayal for that to even be feasible?
March 10, 2010 at 11:16 pm
This might become a reality if Sarah and Hillary will agree to forge their strength and both agreed to combine both their conservative and democratic principles on some important critical issues. Both Hillary and Palin favored a strong US military and strong foreign policies.
March 11, 2010 at 8:41 am
Oh, no, I’m afraid a third party would guarantee Obama another 4 years.
I am firmly convinced that the Left would love to see a third party, throwing the election to Obama.
Ugh.
March 10, 2010 at 4:14 pm
Not only is Palin plagued by the Romney bunch, she now has the Bush machine on her tail. The Bushies are PO’d that their machine went down in flames in the Perry-Hutchison primary. They poured a lot of money, daddy Bush, momma Bush, Jeb Bush, Karl Rove, Chaney, Karen Hughes, and a bunch of other Bushies, including Dick Armey, all endorsed, fundraised, and in many cases campaigned for Hutchison. The only big name endorsement Perry had was Palin, and she made one campaign stop for him which drew 8,000+ on Super Bowl Sunday. The Bush machine harbors the delusion that the American people will be clamoring for yet another Bush in 2012, and they have just the one, good ole Jeb. Jeb recently was blasting Palin, and counting on the Bush machine to get him the nomination. But, Palin/Perry trashed their machine good. That had to put a kink in Jeb’s colon. Can’t help but think that some of the pushing of these ridiculous attacks on Palin are coming from the Bush bunch.
March 10, 2010 at 5:53 pm
But not Laura Bush, Sarah will be at Laura Book Fundraising and then in second women event, with her.
March 10, 2010 at 6:04 pm
Right now, I don’t trust anyone associated with any of the Bush administrations. Palin also has an event with Barbara Bush coming up, Celebration of Reading in Houston TX on April 22nd.
March 10, 2010 at 7:04 pm
George Bush was probably one of the most honest Presidents we’ve ever had and he would have thrown his party under the bus for his country…which is what I want a president to do. Obama wouldn’t. Sarah Palin does not hate George Bush…. Jeb Bush is not running in 2010. He will run in the future, though, and he should. He’s a wonderful leader. I follow them closely and I never saw him “trash” Sarah Palin.
March 10, 2010 at 8:12 pm
I watch anything on tv with a BUSH on it… I have never seen Jeb trash anyone… ever.
He is a good man.. so is GW.. and papa and Mama Bush.
Only Bush I saw endorse Hutchinson was George Bush 41.
March 10, 2010 at 10:47 pm
Jeb Bush told a British paper just last week that he “didn’t know what Palin’s deal was” and that she needs to study up. Very dismissive.
March 11, 2010 at 12:04 pm
hrh40 please provide link to review your statement. What British paper? Thanks.
March 11, 2010 at 3:04 am
Had Hutchinson become Texas governor, do you think she could have nominated Jeb to take her Senate seat, and that was the plan spoiled by Perry winning the primary?
March 11, 2010 at 10:33 am
I believe Jeb lives in Florida. Am I wrong? How could he take Hutchinson’s seat? Perhaps Jeb has moved to Texas.
March 10, 2010 at 4:16 pm
it bears repeating – the corollaries between S.P. and Reagan are incredible. the left demonized Reagan, ridiculed his intellect, and exhibited much the same type of “derangement syndrome” they show each and every time Sarahcuda strikes. she knows how to play all of this against them. we cannot let the eeyores and the trolls drive the dialogue. she can handle all comers; we just need to open ears and eyes whenever possible.
there is indeed a perfect storm brewing. in a way, i’m very excited and proud of my American brothers and sisters – and scared nearly out of my wits.
thanks, Boyz – i love this site and all it represents!
March 10, 2010 at 8:55 pm
RR is gone but his AURA still shines, and Sarah is in it’s midst>
March 10, 2010 at 4:16 pm
I think the liberals will combust way before Palin wins and will self-immolate to keep her from winning. I think she makes a terrible candidate just because she so completely raises the ire of the liberals. I don’t think she has any chance of “controlling” the debate or the issues. The media is never going to let her look serious, or intelligent, or weighty. She is just too dangerous to the liberals, and they will take every step possible to crush her a la Bush. At the end of his term Bush was so totally maligned in the press that folks thought he was evil incarnate. Now that he is not the whipping boy for everything bad in the world, he is looking not so bad. But, none of that matters…the election is over. There are three years to the next election, and that’s plenty of time. I think the real candidate on the GOP side isn’t in plain sight yet.
March 10, 2010 at 4:30 pm
Who gives a crap what the media says anymore? Rasmussen -21 … I think the secret is out and people are realizing who is real..
March 10, 2010 at 8:59 pm
Right Mark, the more Sarah does LIVE appearances, the more the people will see the truth of her. Live defeats Media print and talking heads.
March 10, 2010 at 4:32 pm
The drive-by media will seek to DESTROY any republican candidate. Why you seek to cater to them is beyond me? A large part of the reason that the drive-bys were successful against Bush/Rove is that they DIDN’T fight back. They were taking the “high road” and left all their supporters twisting in the wind. I adore Bush but he was wrong not to vigorously defend his policies at every opportunity. The genius of Rove was overblown. After the fact, Rove comes out and finally acknowledges that it was a HUGE mistake for the white house not to push back against the lefty memes including the no WMDs and Bush lied, people died nonsense. Really! It finally occurred to the genius that no response to 8 years of nonstop bashing would have a negative effect on the Bush white house. Oh mighty Zeus, thankfully Palin doesn’t have that problem. She’s got great media instincts as noted by the palm scandal.
And for zeus’s sake, any republican SHOULD raise the ire of the dems. If not, then you’ve got a friggin’ traitor in your midst. I sure as heck don’t want a leader who is beloved by Bob Beckels of this world.
March 10, 2010 at 4:55 pm
Well said, BlackRedneck. As Rush was saying today, the “alternative” media is getting the word out. Otherwise HellCare would have been passed last August. We don’t need the MSM anymore! They’re imploding along with the Dems; and it couldn’t be happening to “nicer” people.
March 10, 2010 at 6:57 pm
They are being beat by Fox hands down.
March 10, 2010 at 5:57 pm
Bush was not crushed. He was president for eight years and did exactly what he wanted to do for most of it. We can only hope the MSM “crushes” Palin like they “crushed” Bush.
March 10, 2010 at 7:10 pm
I have always said…I think a lot of people were just sooooo tired of the Bush bashing they just wanted it to end. Give the liberals everything..that will shut them up. Well it didn’t. A year later and we’re still fighting about the same stupid stuff…nothing is getting done.
March 10, 2010 at 7:00 pm
Actually…that’s what’s so wonderful about Sarah Palin. They can’t punch her down. The more they pay attention to her the more important she gets. She leaves one sentence on Facebook and the entire news media freaks out. That’s great! THAT…I completely agree with Hillbuzz.
March 11, 2010 at 3:11 am
Blackredneck, you hit it right on!
March 10, 2010 at 10:57 pm
The problem with some independent voters is that they can easily be manipulated by the evil media. It seems that the elite media is now in total control of all the lives and future of the American people. Look at CNN alone, how many non-natural born US citizens are working within the CNN group. These people are foreign migrants and their loyalties are still to their original countries of birth.
March 10, 2010 at 4:18 pm
I saw it and had to respond to that sad-sack drivel. A bunch of the Redstaters and repulicans are train hoppers– people who sit around pointing out why your plan will never succeed and then when the train takes off, they hop aboard and take credit for your success. Just like with Hottie McAwesome. Did you see how fast the eyores went from “oh, a republican can never win the Kennedy seat” to “we didn’t want to raise false hopes but we always thought he had a chance.” It’s always amazing to how many people refuse to take a stand until they are assured of the outcome. It’s just an excuse for them to do nothing.
Hey Hillbuzz,
I think I want to be on the Blue Team or whichever team goes on to the message boards and takes on the eyeors. Or is there a Troll Team? I think I could go undercover on dem sites and depress them all. Sign me up.
March 10, 2010 at 7:17 pm
There’s also the terrifically-friendly Achance, who worked with Palin in Alaska and doesn’t like her, but insists his personal knowledge of her trumps anyone else’s opinions. Try to fight back and you’re going to get banned. Mention gender bias and you’re going to get banned. There’s no winning there, it’s best to just ignore RedState and go to Hot Air instead.
March 10, 2010 at 7:46 pm
I would consider being banned a badge of honor. Erik said anyone could have a diary there and I might give it a try. We’re not going to affect the policy wonks or the haters. But the lurkers and the undecided are up for grabs. Besides, black people love crashing parties and eating all the food. Party all the time, party all the time…
March 10, 2010 at 9:28 pm
BlackRedneck, you are dead on 100% when it comes to the eyores.
March 11, 2010 at 9:04 am
BlackRedneck, you sound like the kind of person I’d enjoy having at a party. You have an open invite from me.
March 10, 2010 at 10:50 pm
But Hotair has allahpundit who’s a Mitt merchant.
Transparently so.
Posts every trashy MSM lie with all kinds of snark about Palin.
Ignores Romney’s crashes and burns, such as the Wallace interview.
Jumps all over Mitt’s #1 even though it’s just an unnamed source story.
HA is not a Palin-friendly site either.
March 11, 2010 at 1:07 am
No but at least there you can say what you want to say, and that’s all I ask. HA should never become a fansite.
March 11, 2010 at 8:45 am
It’ll be nice if some day they open up the registration again at HA so others can comment…
March 11, 2010 at 4:21 pm
Ha, I forgot about that. You’re right of course, it’s definitely time for another open registration there.
March 10, 2010 at 7:43 pm
go to conservatives4palin.com to know the up to the minute truth about Sarah.
March 11, 2010 at 1:51 am
BlackRedneck,
Thanks for your commentary over at RedState. I read it and found it to be refreshing.
March 11, 2010 at 8:46 am
Ditto. Your comments over at RedState were right on!
March 11, 2010 at 8:19 am
BlackRedneck:
Thanks for trying to impart some sense into those fools at RedState. I had to force myself to read that post and the comments. I think my IQ just dropped several points.
Those Redstate Republicans are the most unimaginative folks … they buy the media brain washing and “conventional wisdom” hook, ling and sinker. Hillbuzz has pegged them from day one, their descriptions of these type of R’s is a dead ringer.
The author of the hit piece mentioned his favorities for Prez … one of them was Rob Portman. How can anyone take this guy seriously?
March 11, 2010 at 11:09 am
I like your posts, your analysis cuts right to the chase.
March 10, 2010 at 4:30 pm
Palin. Period. ASAP.
March 10, 2010 at 4:58 pm
My dream scenario would be Palin/Ryan two terms,Ryan/Rubio two terms,Rubio/?,you got to figure it’s going to take awhile to clean up the existing mess.
March 10, 2010 at 9:04 pm
I am with ya on that!
March 10, 2010 at 9:04 pm
18kt gold!
March 11, 2010 at 8:04 pm
I am drooling….
March 10, 2010 at 7:36 pm
I sure hope Palin ignores these idiots too.I was so mad at how Hillary was treated by the media and a gang of egotistical males.I like Palin for her state record, and yes because she is a strong woman.I would love to see a woman in the oval office clean up the mess the guys created over the past 200 years.I am a male and know it is time America puts a strong woman at the helm.I still hope Hillary and Palin have that coffee summit.Imagine if they ran 2gether on a bipartisan independant ticket, Hillary for POTUS and Palin as her VP?They could put the politics aside and write bills from the center.Palin in AK actually worked well with democrats because the republicans hate her and still do.My dream ticket sounds absurd but its Clinton/Palin 2012.
March 10, 2010 at 9:57 pm

March 10, 2010 at 10:16 pm
Personally, I think Guy Smiley as the Republican candidate would guarantee another win for BO. The man lacks magnetism. And you can bet that the same folks who ignore BO’s Muslim background will be the first to raise doubt about Mitt ‘Big Love’ Romney.
Sarah’s biggest hurdle is demonstrating that she is not the dolt that the MSM, Tina Fey impersonations say she is. My husband, normally an extremely intelligent man, believes all the bad press and calls her the dumbest woman in the world. It is terribly frustrating that he falls for the media crap.
Boyz, I hope you are right about the careful strategizing. Anyone who actually listens to her know she is one smart lady.
March 10, 2010 at 10:55 pm
I completely agree. You don’t know how many people I know who actually think Sarah Palin said that she can see Russia from her house. It sickens me.
I read her book, I read the “View from Alaska” at the end, and she was clearly an incredibly effective governor, and I feel if any person as president could actually drill here drill now, it would be Sarah Palin. And I think that would be the best thing to happen to this country in a long time.
BTW, you guys made QOTD at HotAir with this post. Well done!
March 10, 2010 at 11:21 pm
I am sorry to say that your husband is too intelligent that his head can be easily spinned around by the evil media. I am not that intelligent but I am smart enough to check all facts before I can justify whether a person is dumb or not.
March 11, 2010 at 2:51 am
My husband says the same thing – it’s very frustrating. He thinks he has common sense, while voting for Obama. Ugghh, so depressing that was. Many men think that a good looking woman can’t be smart, too. It’s very sexist.

Congrats to Hillbuzz. You made Hot Air’s Quote of the Day for this post. Way to go!!!!
March 10, 2010 at 11:51 pm
And one of the posters over there referred to our boyz as “Alpha gays. Hot.” LOL
“We will endeavor for the next two years to make sure we do everything we can to help Sarah Palin.”
I love Hillbuzz’s zest. Alpha gays. Hot.
SouthernGent on March 10, 2010 at 10:47 PM
March 11, 2010 at 4:11 pm
Alpha gays … that’s hilarious!
March 11, 2010 at 1:54 am
Thanks for mentioning that. I saw the Palin picture associated with the quote of the day and bypassed it, since it is usually something snarky and sometimes not even related to Palin. I’ll go there and look at the thread.
There are a lot of Palin supporters at HotAir, much to Allahpundit’s chagrin.
March 11, 2010 at 8:21 am
I do the same, and will go back now and read it. We all think alike around here … what is it they say about great minds? :)
March 11, 2010 at 6:03 am
Yay! HillBuzz got a shout out from Hot Air. I haven’t read the thread yet, but the number of comments show a lot of discussion. Great work guys!
March 10, 2010 at 11:01 pm
People respect someone who’s got guts. Palin’s got guts, and she won’t go away. She gets more and more important. She’s gonna win people over. The Obamas do not have guts, and even the democrats seem sick of them. I live in Obama country (unfortunately for now) and folks are pretty quiet around here. I used to see my neighbor (who is really nice) walking his dog in the morning wearing his “Yes We Can!” button every day. Then later he wore his “Yes We Did!” button. But now he wears no buttons at all.
March 10, 2010 at 11:27 pm
In two years from now, you will see your neighbor wearing a Palinista button saying, “Palin: The real hope and change.”
March 11, 2010 at 11:38 am
I love this – the last three sentences sound like a children’s book. I can just visualize the man. :)
March 11, 2010 at 8:10 pm
Julia- I see you are from NY. I am from Jersey so we share the same radio stations.
Have you heard that black president song on the radio lately? There was one hip hop station (I can’t remember which one) that they play at work all the time that could NOT stop with it for the longest time. But I haven’t heard it for a while.
Not that I’m complaining!
March 11, 2010 at 8:11 pm
(I hope it is not necessary for me to say this, but my problem with that song is NOT that O is black. It’s that it is HIM.)
March 11, 2010 at 4:03 am
Thank goodness for you Hillbuzz boyz!
You bring sanity and clarity to all this political doublespeak spewing forth from the lefty blogs and the so called righty Vichy Republican blogs.
Go Sarah and Hillary! Two strong women I adore!
March 11, 2010 at 8:22 am
Vichy Republicans: how true.
March 11, 2010 at 5:05 am
I really don’t get the people at RedState
They have good stories, but they are not thinking long term ans seem to live in their own bubble, content to go on FOx’s Hannity and think they are all that.
HillBuzz is 100% correctly. I remember in 2004 when I was campaigning for Kerry, at one of the rallies, I think Hillary spoke, and there were so many people wondering why in the world is Hillary not running?
And yep, it was the good ol’ boys network at the Undemocratic Party that told Hillary she had to wait her turn until 2008, and then in 2008, the entire party backstabbed her, while pretending they were rooting for her.
I too want to warn repubs, the good ol’ boy network in the repub party is doing the same thing to Sarah, I don’t have that much knowledge of the hierarchy of the repub party, but it seems the romney people are hell bent on attacking Sarah.
and btw, hey you romney-bots, we know what you are doing (we had seen Hillary attacked and backstabbed by her own party members much more so than the repubs), yes, ROmeny goes on MSNBS and says Sarah is qualified to be president, but its Romeny’s minion’s who are the doing the dirty work and attacking Sarah, and don’t think we will forget this!
And they seem to forget, there are millions of us now new Independents (former dems, Hillary dems) remember exactly the same sceanrio happened to Hillary.
RedState really are idiots sometimes, they are now pushing some Indiana? governor?? daneils? or someone like that?
who the heck is this man? is the repub establishement really going to put up another Bob Dole?? (b/c its his turn) or are you going to put up someone who will fight to win, oh man, this Palin woman has been put thru the ringer, the immunity she is building up is so high,
I know many people who don’t believe anything the LSM says about her, they have seen time and time again, they have no credibikty anymore when it comes to reporting about Sarah.
Seriosuly, are you repub establishment that afraid of a 5’4″ lady from Alaska??
We Hillary dems are telling you, do not let the RNC do to Sarah what the UN=DNC did to Hillary.
I like RedState, but sometimes, they seem to live in their own world.
March 11, 2010 at 5:33 am
might I also add, during the Scott brown election, Hillbuzzers and places like legal insurrection were working and doing everything possivle to make sure scott won.
And heck, most of us are dems or indies. And we kept on going, b/c we wanted to stop the lunatic totalarians in the WH and congress.
And it was places like RedState, bunch of whiny eeyores, “oh a repub can never win in MA, I’ll believe it when I see it”
–what a bunch of wusses.
and then of course when Scott was on the verge of wonning, it was all sushine and lollipops.
And then with the whining, “Scott voted for a 15 billion unemployment bill”, he’s not conservative enough!!
SERIOUSLY???
Heck, I’m a democrat/indie, and I knew scott is no jim demint conservative, but he is conservative enough to stop the Marxist agenda.
I find RedState to be what I have heard called, purist conservatives.
They really are their own echo chamber many times.
March 11, 2010 at 8:23 am
ssmith:
It hurt my brain to read that Redstate post.
March 11, 2010 at 8:26 am
you mean they are the rights version of Sean Penn? LOL
March 11, 2010 at 8:01 am
my prediction from the cheap seats
if Sarah DOESN’T run? and/or Hillary DOESN’T challenge Obambi?
a LOT of us will not show up to vote because we realize it doesn’t seem to matter (here’s the new boss, same as the old boss)
how is that possible (some wonder) we voted in a black democrat and he STILL acts just like the LAST cabal!! WTF? why bother?
(that’s how I will feel anyway)
no one I ever vote for wins – it seems
from Perot to Clark to Hillary to Sarah
(my record sucks) lol
March 11, 2010 at 8:09 am
In times of instability and crisis, personality and charisma are needed. A weak, vapid, bland person may be OK in times of prosperity…. like homemade bread and a glass of milk.
But when we believe we’re on the brink of losing everything, a nation fighting not to slide over the edge of decline…. Weak and vapid don’t even register as viable.
The people are always drawn to the personality—- good or bad. Churchill, Reagan, Thatcher and yeah, I see Palin as being in that group of those with sparks of light shooting off them.
Anyone else will just be “oh goody, another boring guy in a suit…. NEXT!”
March 11, 2010 at 8:18 am
sparks of light
I like that! Good description! My Daughter said something similar when she met Bill Clinton at a rally for Hillary.
March 11, 2010 at 9:19 am
You guys have your heads on straight (no pun intended). I like the way you think about the issues and feel about your country. I hope there will be many many more like you voting in the next election. Country first. Party second.
…… and I, too, feel we would have been WAY better off with Hillary instead of His Nibs in the White House. She’s already twice the man he’s turned out to be.
Subsunk
March 11, 2010 at 9:46 am
Here’s a thought: If Sarah enters the race, I wonder how many liberals will cross over and vote for her in the primary precisely because they think she won’t be able to beat Øbama? Enough to ensure she wins the nomination?
March 11, 2010 at 1:10 pm
What I don’t understand is the damn feminists and their attitudes towards Sarah? Sarah is by their standards– a self made woman,,, and has gotten where she is today, all on her own. Sarah is very strong accomplished woman is she not?
So’ why all the nay saying and we all know the answer to that. Because Sarah’s political views and living standards are Conservative– So’ I guess that doesn’t count” Sure the hellscream’s double standards” to me again with the Dem’s…!
So’ that too is another problem Sarah face’s along with certain men and their attitude’s, having a female POTUS: Yeah– I get-it that the “Repubs are Eeyore’s” in so many way’s,,, Redstate needs to grow a spine and so do a lot of the other Sarah Palin supporting site’s”
Sarah is Maverick, and does have the gut’s to stand and go-it alone and she is taking every punch and all the crap and wickedness, and evil garbage thrown at her”"”"! This woman deserves all our support for that alone.
Sure’ Sarah needs to studying-up on the fact’s and knowledge of foreign affair’s if you will’ but, this woman “has-it” she can learn and chew gum at the same time. Sarah has good instinct’s, insight and more common sense then most individuals,,, and that’s God Given, not studied!
Sarah’s not a hard sell to America– it’s America’s stubbornness that’s keeping her down at every level…” Everyone is pissing a moaning over her’ WHY? because they cannot wrap their head around the fact that Sarah is “simply to good to be true”
If the Dem’s supported Hillary,,, they can certainly support Sarah, if they will allow themselves too.
I supported Hillary during the last election,,, because I knew the Dem’s were going to take office. When Obama got the DNC nomination I was not happy and hated how they treated Hillary too. I smelled a rat– and thought’ were screwed now…”
McCain was not my choice for the RNC either,,, but when John announced Sarah– my thoughts were,,, better then Obama! Now I it’s a big “hell of a lot better then anyone in office now”
If Sarah doesn’t run, she will always have my support…! If Hillary runs, I’m there too”
March 11, 2010 at 1:30 pm
Ok, Boyz, another clip you are gonna love! Ray Stevens, apparently, wants Sarah 2012, too! Here’s his new song!!
March 11, 2010 at 2:10 pm
I loved it at the end when he was reading his hand notes.
March 11, 2010 at 3:58 pm
Laugh at your critcs and yourself…that’s how you win!
March 11, 2010 at 1:51 pm
Sorry, I’m not crazy for Romney. I think he’s a RINO.
If Palin gets the nomination I’ll vote for her.
I’d like to see Paul Ryan,Mike Pence or any of the young turks that are showing up in the Republican Party.
If Palin does not run, I hope whoever is elected will give her post like Dept of Energy, or better yet, the head of the EPA, which she would hopefully do away with, then go on to the Dept of the Interior.
I think that by the time we get to the 2012 elections, the Republicans will be able to get Daffy Duck elected, that’s how disgusted everyone will be with Obama.
March 11, 2010 at 2:39 pm
The entire argument made by the “standard republican establishment” against Sarah is a self serving, arrogant, conversation held inside an eco chamber of political niavety.
Sarah is miles ahead of the republican establishment and absolutely connected to the electorate. Her message reaches the masses because the “masses are her”. Sarah reflects the genuine advancement, in its purest sense, of a candidate with her own ideas, beliefs and opinions. She is not a republican partyist. She is not a republican who happens to be Sarah Palin. She is Sarah Palin who happens to be a republican.
Whether or not the republican party catches up to that, who cares? The fact is that she is going to be the conservative candidate. Those within the party can pound the table, make excuses, and come up with a myriad of “what if’s” to generate reasons, within their own mind, for doubt.
Quite simply. Stuff it. ye doubters!
She is the best candidate for the job. She is the most popular candidate for the job. The cuda will destroy Obama and that will be that.
Spend some damn energy sending out the message of how brilliant she is. Engage in the cause of the people. Get out of your damn eco chamber and make a difference. Sheessh.
March 11, 2010 at 3:54 pm
In Presidential elections, the HAPPY candidate ALWAYS wins.
March 11, 2010 at 6:05 pm
Personally I think Palin would make for a better Secretary of the Interior, but I wouldn’t mind her as President either.
However, I think the real reason she will win is that Iran will get the nuke sometime between now and 2012. If Iran gets nuclear weapons, three things will happen immediately, all of which hurt Obama’s chances and helps the Repubs in general and may help Palin specifically.
One, a nuclear-capable Iran will make national security a major concern in the next election, maybe even greater than the economy.
Two, Israel-sympathy will be on the rise, which doesn’t help Dems, who are historically anti-Israel, pro-Palestine, etc.
And finally, Iran will controll OPEC by default. Coupled with fears of war in the Middle East, the price of oil will sky-rocket. Palin is the only politician likely to run for President in 2012 who is genuinely credible on increased drilling and energy policy in general. Her Drill-Baby-Drill rhetoric may be over Biden’s head, but it resonates well with voters, and even better if gas $4 or more a gallon.
March 11, 2010 at 7:03 pm
Of all the places I like to read, Hillbuzz is the best by far. Your threads are smooth, intellegent, informative, and at times down right funny. I’m a clunky straight guy who post and gets in the way once and a while. I even put you on “Troll Alert” Sorry! not on purpose! I just want you to know your loved and appreciated by me.
Viva Lady Sarah!
God’s speed

Excellent analysis, especially on the infestation of Romneyites.
If you liked McCain, Dole, both Bushes (and I’m not saying everything they did was wrong)–then you’ll LOVE Romney.
Romney is a poseur, he’ll tell people what they want to hear: RomneyCare and abortion are just a few examples.
Very good article.
April 6, 2010 at 8:30 pm
VERY simple, People.
1) NO ROMNEY,…for the above stated reasons. He is a Cheesy-wheezy, Say-what-is-required-type of Pol. who needs to be shown the door. Or, he stays in Mass and proves his colors.
2) Petraeus is the BEST man at THIS hour.
Universally respected, understands the enemy threat MUCH better than any politician. Best part, he doesn’t THINK like a politician, he thinks like a man of character DEVOTED to duty.
3) Paul Ryan, …inCREDible choice, but should be Petraeus’ running mate.. THEN, He can take over the next 8 yrs.
other good names are out there, but these men would make the most FORMIDABLE, convincing ticket…AND HAVE THE DEMS messing their drawers.
