Question: Is the Democrat Party balkanizing into all out war on multiple destructive fronts?
We’ll go more in depth on this later, but just now as we were talking here at Buzzquarters we realized that, clearly, a Democrat Civi War is indeed raging. The Ft. Sumter event was ramming through the unconstitutional Healthcare Rationing bill through the Senate on Christmas Eve. Some day, when we write a book on the Democrat Civi War of 2008-2012, aka “How the Golden Age of Hope and Changed Destroyed the Democrat Party Completely”, we believe we’ll see that as the seminal event that let all Hell break loose. It’s what emboldened us to actively campaign for Scott Brown in Massachusetts to make him Senator Hottie McAwesome, and it revealed all Democrats in the Senate to be unworthy of holding office. Every last one of them. Because no “moderates” voted against that abomination, they proved no “moderates” really exist in the current Liberal Socialist Democrat party.
We may have suspected this to be the case before Christmas Eve, but that vote dropped all facade and pretense…which is why we think it will be so remembered as the day Democrats first truly splintered into the balkanized factions we see emerging.
It’s not a question of Good Democrats vs. Bad Democrats, or Moderate/Conservative Dems vs. Leftist Liberals.
No, there are many more factions than that, we now realize. Let’s see if we can start making a list to identify them all in this thread.
Off the top of our heads, we see:
(1) Diehard Leftists committed to Marxism (Obama loyalists).
(2) Rahm Emanuel’s faction of more practical Liberals, who might realize the damage “The One” is doing to their cause, and the way he is making the world see Democrats as out of control lunatics.
(3) Hillary Democrats, like us, who are disgusted by the behavior of the current DNC…and never “fell in line” like we were told after the May 31st Rules and Bylaws Committee Meeting in 2008.
(4) Other moderate/conservative Dems who might not have the same Clinton loyalty that we have, but are also so disgusted with the party they want nothing to do with Democrats anymore and are more or less independents now.
There could be many more factions, and factions within factions.
The DNC really has a mess of its own making on its hands, and we don’t believe the MSM is going to be able to save them this time.
Yugoslavia disintegrated with less in-fighting and substantive disagreements in ideology than what Democrats are faced with now.
What factions do you see, what are you looking at in terms of what’s going on, and where do you think things will stand by November of this year?
Bonus question: after the major losses Dems will suffer in November, what do you think happens next for the party?
Can it regroup by 2012 and convince Americans it’s gone back to being moderate and centrist, or is all hope lost for Dems for a generation?
BREAKING: Did Dan Rather really say "Obama is so incompetent, he couldn't even sell watermelons"?
This morning, we heard the weirdest, distant noise: a rumbling and a grumbling. We couldn’t figure it out. It almost sounded like a stomach grumbling, so we checked the feeding schedule the Chicago Tribune keeps posted for Oprah, and saw there was a pudding delivery at 10am today, so there’s no way The Charbydis of Lake Michigan could have been hungry again so soon. A herd of Texas longhorn are staged for “snack time” in a half hour, and there’s no way all that pudding’s worked its way through her digestive tract by now, so there’s no reason for that grumbling so close to the cattle delivery. The noise couldn’t be Oprah’s stomach. There was a slight chance it could have been more of her flatulence, but that usually happens after all that beef, not the pudding. So, the noise wasn’t Oprah. For once.
We kept wondering and wondering what it was, and then someone left us a comment that “Dan Rather said “Obama is so incompetent he couldn’t even sell watermelons”". Did this really happen? Supposedly Rather said this on Chris Matthews sometime recently…possibly this morning.
Did this really happen?
If so, the rumbling we heard is easily explained. It was the Race Industry caterwauling, rolling around on the floor, and revving up. Al Sharpton, Henry Gates, and Jesse Jackson just LIVE for things like this.
Would Rather REALLY be stupid enough to fall right into the Race Industry’s hands and actually use a watermelon analogy?
Has Rather done lost his mind?
Did Rather, strangely, do this on purpose to take attention off Rahm Emanuel’s shower attack on Eric Massa? Because there’s nothing that can bump naked shower screaming off the headlines faster than someone like Dan Rather saying the current president can’t sell watermelons. It’s a dream come true for the Race Industry, if true, and the Liberals in the MSM who hate Dan Rather and want to see him destroyed…more than he already has been. Maybe Rather, sickly, fell on a sword to get back in good graces with these lunatics.
How bizarre has our world become that not only are we wondering if this is true or not, but we wonder if the comment was made on purpose to help the Leftist cause in some way?
Anyone have a clip of Rather saying this or a solid source on whether it’s true or not?
If it’s true…this will EXPLODE. Sharpton-Gates-Jackson will see to that.

UPDATE: It’s true. Dan Rather really did say this on MSNBC.
Worse: Chris Matthews just sat there and agreed with him.
Agreed with saying “our historic first black president” was a man who “couldn’t sell watermelons”.
Chris Matthews, Liberal Icon, allowed that to stand.
Where is the Sharpton-Gates-Jackson brigade?
Why aren’t they moving against Matthews, Rather, and MSNBC for this outrageous RAAAAAAAAACIST! assault on “our historic president”?

As we have seen repeatedly, for something to catch on with the public, there needs to be a visual people can see that makes the story stick.
Rahm Emanuel’s attack on Congressman Eric Massa, done naked in the Congressional showers, is the sort of thing that illustrates, well, nakedly the true nature of what the Liberal Socialist Democrat party has become. Their naked disregard for the will of the people. Their naked disrespect for anyone who does not share their socialist bent. Their naked inherent destructiveness.
No one wants a gaunt, shriveled, former ballerina to accost him, naked, in the showers, screaming and yelling, ranting and raving.
So, we need a good visual depiction of this — but it’s a real challenge because we need it to be PG-13 at most. Nothing graphic. Perhaps steam clouds can hide the parts of Rahm that only hunky Secret Service agents or people he’s screaming at in gym showers get to see.
There’s quite a list of things the public’s becoming aware of in terms of Rahm Emanuel’s bad behavior”
(1) Sending dead fish to people he doesn’t like
(2) Calling people he’s mad at “f***ing retards”
(3) Screaming naked at men in showers
What will Rahm do next?
Is there a way we can combine all of his bad behavior into one illustration so that it can sink in with the public?
Is there a way to combine all of this with the children’s story “The Emperor’s New Clothes”, because it too involves the nakedness?
Let’s brainstorm ideas for using Photoshop to make this whole Eric Massa Shower Shouting episode worse for Rahm Emanuel…since, because he’s so caustic and explosive, we know it would push Emanuel to strike out at others in the White House and DNC over it, and that will just add gasoline to the fiery Democrat Civil War we believe has already begun.
Maybe an image of regular voters in the shower at their home, and Emanuel pops in, naked, to scream at them, tell them how stupid they are, and shout at them to get behind the Rationing bill?
Perhaps if we can relate what Emanuel did to Massa to what the administration is trying to do to the public, we can make people see how horribly this White House is behaving.

UPDATE: A reader suggested using PSYCHO imagery and we think that’s just brilliant.
(a) Have a voter in a shower behind a curtain like Janet Leigh…but have it be a male voter.
(b) Have Rahm burst through the shower curtain, also nude, pointing his finger and screaming
(c) Steam from the shower or part of the shower curtain covers Rahm’s “Emanuel”
(d) “Emanuel” is a euphemism for “shriveled, nasty, teeny penis”
(e) Use the PSYCHO movie font to say something like “Democrats’ attempts to Rahm through Healthcare Rationing are PSYCHO. Coming soon to a shower at your house”
Keep adding your great ideas to this thread. Together, we can create some winning images like we did with the Martha Coakley incident where her goons pushed that journalist to the ground so she didn’t have to answer questions she didn’t want to deal with.

Rahm Emanuel Attacked Congressman Massa Naked in the Showers.
Drudge ran a story today about Rahm Emanuel coming up to Congressman Eric Massa, totally naked, and attacking him in the gym showers, screaming and yelling and generally acting crazy. While completely naked. Ranting, raving, poking, threatening. While completely naked.
Today’s an interesting day. More and more keeps coming out about what the DNC is doing to Congressman Massa. A few things COULD happen:
(1) Massa has the potential to destroy the DNC with all of this. The more he talks about naked Rahm Emanuel screaming and yelling and threatening him in the showers, the more attention this gets from the general public. It’s the naked part that gets people’s attention. It is ready-fodder for the comedians. Even hacks who refuse to lampoon Democrats just can’t avoid laughing at the absurdity of this. It has the potential of really resonating with the public.
(2) Rahm Emanuel will want to strike back at Massa for revealing all this. If he and the DNC have already dropped nukes on Massa, what more could they do? THAT will be interesting. Seriously. What more could they do to this man? Call him a RAAACIST next? Accuse him of being a pedophile? What happens when Rahm’s Chicago politics of personal destruction fail in the first volley and someone like Massa stands up to him?
(3) If Rahm strikes back, what does Massa do next? Does he out Rahm? Do Rahm’s other victims see the blood in the water and seize their opportunity for payback. There is decades of dirt on Rahm Emanuel. There are many people in Chicago and Washington who hate this man and want to see him get the payback that’s been building for him. Will this finally be the trigger of one epic, spectacular, take-down of someone incredibly deserving for such payback?
So, essentially, a perfect storm is brewing that could very well bring down the DNC and Rahm Emanuel, depending on how events play out and how much the public starts paying attention.
The meme is building that Democrats are corrupt Chicago thugs who use blackmail, extortion, bribery, threats, and, apparently, naked shouting matches, to get what they want, regardless of what’s good for their constituents…with no regard for what the public wants.
This is much, much worse than the 1994 narrative of Democrats being merely “out of touch” with the public. It’s worse than the scandals the Republicans had in 2006. In that last case, Republicans seemed greedy and self-absorbed in their tone-deafness. Democrats today are seeming downright evil in the lengths they go to. It’s un-American. It’s un-Democratic. It just feels WRONG to so many people.
This has the potential of building into a disaster for Democrats…of Titanic and Hindenburg proportions.
It depends on a lot of variables, though, so we’ll just have to watch how things turn out.

Continue to follow developments with Congressman Eric Massa. All Hell could break loose if he really does expose the corruption and Alinsky tactics of the current Liberal Socialist Democrat party. He’s hinting at Pelosi, Reid, and the White House blackmailing him, and when that didn’t work, they decided to destroy him since he would not do what they wanted and vote for the Healthcare Rationing bill. The American public needs to know just what Democrats have become. Will Massa expose them? If so, will more moderates and independents turn against the Democrats for their behavior?

Here’s a great Weekly Standard piece on the collapse of the Church of Anthropogenic Global Warming. It says the release of the emails showing the fraud, deception, destruction of data, and invention of numbers designed to fit predetermined curves at East Anglia’s “climatology center” is on par with “The Pentagon Papers” that changed the dialogue on Vietnam.
There is no putting the genie back in this bottle, and no matter how much the MSM tries to pretend this story isn’t happening, the public is indeed finding out about it.
Who knows where this will end, and how much of the Left will be buried under the rubble of the collapsed AGW Church.
