American Hero: Lynn Forester de Rothschild

Posted at March 1, 2010 by HillBuzz // Hillbuzz

She told you so, but Democrats did not listen.

One of the most surreal things we did during the last days of the 2008 presidential campaign was spontaneously having lunch with Lynn Forester de Rothschild after a Democrats for McCain event near Toledo, Ohio. She is one of the most remarkable, wonderful, and patriotic women we have ever met.  She is a longtime friend of the Clintons, and like us used to be a lifelong, dyed in the wool Democrat.  She used to be one of the DNC’s leading fundraisers, but no longer recognizes the Leftist-controlled Liberal-Socialist Democrat Party as legitimate.

She is, in a word, MARVELOUS.

Love. Her.

Here she is telling America “I Told You So”. Please read every word of it.

She captures the spirit we share with her, in that we love this country more than any party.  She, like us, did everything she possibly could to stop Dr. Utopia from becoming president, since we knew exactly what he and his Leftist thugs would do once he took office.

Now, Lady Lynn is advocating a Resistance Movement to stop Dr. Utopia in the three years he has remaining in office, by creating a “militant middle” in this country that will lead conservatives and moderates of both parties in all-out war against the Left, to save America from socialism and lunacy.

Sign us up, Lady Lynn, sign us up.

Irony of the Day: HRH Princess Caroline throwing tantrum…over depiction of her throwing tantrums

Posted at March 1, 2010 by HillBuzz // Hillbuzz

"Stop telling the truth about me and my family, peasants!!!"

Today at Bergdorf Goodman’s in Manhattan, shoppers were aghast as HRH Princess Caroline of Kennedy began smashing crystal, throwing silverware, and ripping Hermes scarves to shreds…again…while her much put-upon maid, Helga, tried desperately to calm her down and protect small children and the elderly from $10,000 projectiles.

This time Princess was upset over an upcoming eight-part History Channel miniseries, “The Kennedys”, set to air in 2011, which depicts her father (accurately by all accounts) as a sex-crazed, reckless maniac who needed to bed a different woman every few days lest he “get migraines”. Her uncle, Ted, is portrayed as a murderous drunk who abused women throughout his political career, creating “waitress sandwiches” with other obese Senators whenever humanly possible. Her grandfather, Joe, is shown to be a Nazi sympathizer who made his fortune illegally smuggling booze into Boston in underground tunnels during Prohibition.  But, what upsets Princess Caroline the most is the miniseries’ depictions of her many White House tantrums as a child, where she’d run room to room screaming uncontrollably, for more chocolate, more jelly beans, more, more, more of everything.

“Heeeeeeeeellllllllllggggggggaaaaaaa! Bring me the axe! They can’t get away with this, Helga.  They can’t tell the truth like this on television!  Don’t they know who I am?  Don’t they know who my father was?  Don’t they know who my uncles were?  Don’t they know we’re KENNEDYS?”

Helga, showing Olympic-grade dexterity and reflexes for a septagenarian domestic, expertly ducked a Wedgwood dinner platter (posy pattern), before answering her mistress’ rat-a-tat-tat rhetorical questions.

“But, Your Majesty, Your Kennedyship, that’s the point, Mistress.  They know who you are.  They know who your father was.  They know who the Kennedys are.  And they are telling the truth.  This is how you and your family behaved.  It’s the History Channel.  They make shows about history.  History is the accurate study of things that happened.  This is how you behaved, and how your father and uncles behaved.  This is the Kennedy story.”

“Heeeeeeellllllllggggggaaaaa! Stop telling the truth to Kennedys!!!!”, Princess roared, twisting an arm off a nearby mannequin, kicking off her Jimmy Choos, and taking off at full speed barefoot to chase her maid through Bergdorf’s, eerily reminiscent of what she apparently used to do to Secret Service agents as a child in the White House, but making do back then with a Raggedy Anne doll, since mannequin arms were nowhere to be found in the otherwise well-appointed executive mansion.

We don’t know about the shoppers at Bergdorf’s, but we can’t wait to watch this miniseries on the History Channel.

If the Kennedys, Princess Caroline especially, don’t want it to air, we think it should be shown 24/7 on Jumbotrons across the country.

Apparently, nothing’s even been filmed for the show yet, and Princess is just this upset over a leaked script, and the apparent effort underway to cast a time-traveling Julie Dawn Cole, age 8, as First Daughter HRH Princess Caroline of Kennedy in the miniseries.

This explains the Kennedy Family’s efforts to block not only the Massachusetts Cape Wind program near their palace at Hyannis Port, but also limit access to all known remaining Deloreans as well.

Why the Chicago Tea Party "movement" collapsed

Posted at March 1, 2010 by HillBuzz // Hillbuzz

BigGovernment today has a piece up about the “Unhappy Anniversary of the Chicago Tea Party”, calling the Chicago Tea Party movement “a corpse”.

Here’s our take on all this, as people who were there for the first Tea Party, who marched in the demonstration, and who spoke at Tea Party events.

The problem with the Tea Party “movement” in Chicago is that it was, from the beginning, not an organic movement at all.  It was 100% orchestrated by political candidates and the Heartland Institute, which is a conservative political think tank here in Chicago.

The first Tea Party demonstration was co-opted by Dan Proft, a political consultant in Cicero, IL who makes a lot of money off that city by billing repeatedly for the same PR services, using a redundancy scheme where he gets paid once for publicizing City Hall or the town park, then gets a second check for “doing PR work” for the street those buildings are on.  So, it’s like renting someone a “horse”, but then charging them a second fee for “the legs”, “the head”, “the tail”, etc.

Dan Proft, back in February 2009, thought he was a legitimate candidate for Governor.  He, pretty much, was the only one who thought that.  He used the Tea Party as an excuse to collect emails and try to build a groundswell of support for his campaign.  Proft is a lot of things, bad mainly, but he’s sure a fantastic operator when opportunity emerges.  He saw the potential in the Tea Party spirit overtaking millions coast to coast who are fed up with the reckless spending of the government.  He saw people on television tapping into that Tea Party anger. So, Proft wanted to channel that energy into political benefit for himself.

One of Proft’s employees, Julie Johnson, became communications director for the nascent “Tea Party Organization” started up by a guy named Eric Odem.  Johnson and Odem pushed the Tea Party events in Chicago, on February 27th and on April 15th, 2009.

All the tea hit the fan in the leadup to the April 15th Tea Party when Johnson decided to blacklist a Tea Party event the Chicago Young Republicans were having at Navy Pier later in the day.  Here’s what the issue was:  Dan Proft staged the April 15th Tea Party in the Loop in Chicago because he wanted to use it to launch his gubernatorial bid.  The Heartland Institute funded the stage and sound equipment for that event, and thousands of people were expected to turn up.  It would have been a great venue for Proft to benefit from.  But, Johnson made the decision to go to war with the Chicago Young Republicans over their evening event…because, as communications director, she did not want the evening news to carry the CYRs’ event at Navy Pier (which had an actual tall ship and the dumping of wooden crates (on ropes to be pulled back on board) in Lake Michigan) instead of footage of Proft speaking at the afternoon Tea Party.

The end result was that Johnson and Proft blinked, and Proft did not speak at the Tea Party in the Loop on April 15th.  But, a lot of bad blood remains from what happened. Heartland, which is not supposed to back any candidate, got burned by the Proft connection, and has distanced itself from anything Tea Party since.

Johnson (who is actually a great person, by the way, and is someone we think will be a big player in local politics in the future), left the Tea Party structure shortly after Proft’s involvement in the April 15th Tea Party was exposed.  She worked for Proft’s failed gubernatorial bid and apparently continues to work for his political consulting firm now.

We have no idea what happened to Odem, but believe he’s still involved with Tea Parties somewhere…because he sees this as his chance to become very, very rich by tapping into this spirit and turning it into a business opportunity for himself.

When we say people should be wary of the Tea Party “movement”, this is the sort of thing we are talking about.

The spirit is real.

People are angry.

Americans don’t trust the government or the way it’s spending tax dollars.

But, Tea Party supporters should not trust the men and women who purport themselves to be “Tea Party Leaders”.

The danger, in our opinion, is that opportunists like Proft and Odem will usurp the legitimate spirit of the Tea Parties and create their own money-making ventures off them, or in the case of would-be politicians like Proft, co-opt the “movement” for their own campaign purposes.

The reason Chicago’s Tea Parties collapsed is because, sadly, they weren’t ever real to begin with.  That is clearly not the case nationwide, but it’s true for Chicago.  Proft’s involvement sank any chance of a real, actual, grassroots Tea Party group from forming in Chicago.  In truth, the CYRs didn’t stage their Tea Party event for the sake of Tea Parties either.  They used it as a membership recruiting drive for their organization (which we supported at the time) and a chance for their grandstanding president to be on TV a whole bunch, looking all manly on a boat. Way to go, stud!

The BigGovernment story didn’t reflect on any of this, but maybe it’s not widely known.

The way things work in Chicago is the way they are working in Washington, now that Chicago’s taken over DC.  It’s all about the ego, people.  If there’s energy and excitement and opportunity out there, a Chicagoan will try to capture all of that for personal use and enrichment.  Don’t come between a Chicagoan and a TV camera when Chicagoans want to promote themselves.

And, if that promotion fails, and if whatever endeavor they’re involved in tanks, they walk away from whatever they were doing.  As if it never happened.

Proft and others tried to use the Tea Party to further their own aims, but failed.

And, now that they’ve moved on to new schemes and dreams, they’ve left the Tea Party behind them.

It’s a cautionary tale we try to communicate to everyone who supports the Tea Party spirit, so that what happened in Chicago doesn’t happen elsewhere too.

Today's MSM Horsemen of the GOP Apocalypse Push: Mitch Daniels Edition

Posted at March 1, 2010 by HillBuzz // Hillbuzz

Mitch Daniels, Mitt Romney, Tim Pawlenty, and John Thune auger the GOP apocalypse

Here’s the latest push by the MSM for a losing GOP candidate to run against Dr. Utopia.  Today it’s Mitch Daniel’s turn in the spotlight.

Republicans:  do you ever think about what it means when the MSM publishes a GLOWING assessment of any Republican?

Let’s review:

(1) The MSM is Leftist controlled and wants to see the GOP lose in every race.

(2) The MSM has a track record of pushing losing GOP candidates, particularly in presidential races, before turning against them after the primaries and backing the Democrat in the general election (see: McCain 2008)

(3) The MSM likes backing Republicans with fatal flaws for a while, before destroying them publicly to damage the GOP brand (see: Mark Sanford, Charlie Crist, and Mike Huckabee)

(4) The MSM has committed to ensuring Dr. Utopia’s re-election.  Chris Matthews, as MSM spokesman, has repeatedly said it’s his “job” to see that Dr. Utopia succeeds and serves a full 8 years in the White House.

Now, what about Mitch Daniels is there that the MSM loves so darn much?

The only one getting better press than him these days is Tim Pawlenty, who has a face not even his mother could love, and is used by clinicians to put hopeless insomniacs to sleep within 15 minutes of exposure.

Our question is:  what does the MSM know about Mitch Daniels that they intend to use against him in 2012, should they succeed in making him the GOP’s nominee?

That’s the question Republicans need to be asking about EVERY man the MSM pushes to be the GOP nominee.

Question: Why don't we like Tim Russert from the networks of NBC?

Posted at March 1, 2010 by HillBuzz // Hillbuzz

A vile, disgusting pig of a man.

Some of you who haven’t been following us from the beginning wonder why we don’t like Tim Russert.

The simple answer is that he was a vile, disgusting pig.

The longer answer is the way he single-mindedly, zealously, and rabidly went after Hillary Clinton during the 2008 primaries, making it his mission in life to destroy her using every sexist and misogynist angle he possibly could.

Russert had great editorial control of every segment he appeared in on the networks of NBC.  Unlike some on-air personalities, Russert never read off cue cards and was not assigned any angle to push.  Russert CHOSE what he said and did on the air.

From Day One in the 2008 campaign, Russert backed Dr. Utopia and made it his mission to take Hillary Clinton down.

In the leadup to the Iowa Caucus, he repeatedly tried to stoke voters to side against Clinton by replaying the Lewinsky Affair, inciting Iowans, especially, to punish Clinton for staying with her husband and saving her marriage.  We can’t tell you how many houses we went to in Dubuque, Des Moines, Davenport, you name it where people cited Russert’s remarks when telling us why they didn’t want Clinton to be president:  ”we don’t want that old drama back again”.  The person most dredging up “that old drama” was Tim Russert.

After the Iowa Caucus, Tim Russert was the loudest voice telling Hillary Clinton “to just quit already”.  He started Caucus Night and did not let up until Hera herself smote him dead several months later.  Every day, this pig got on the air and told the only female candidate in history with a real chance of winning the presidency to shut her mouth, get off the stage, and get to the back of the bus.

And he did it in the most disgusting ways possible:  talking about Clinton’s “cackle”, referring endlessly to her appearance, calling her haggard on days when she was campaigning her heart out across the country, working in references to every possible sexist and negative stereotype possible to bring Clinton down…you name it, Russert did it.

Frankly, it’s the WAY he did it that really made us dislike him.

His eyes were filled with such glee while attacking Clinton.  He was thrilled to do it. As if he waited his whole life to destroy a woman like this.  He enjoyed it the way we’ve only seen rapists in movies enjoy brutalizing women.  He loved every single second of it.

MOST ESPECIALLY in one debate between Clinton and Utopia where Russert asked Clinton who the next President of Russia was going to be, once Putin stepped aside, and Clinton said “Medevedved” instead of “Dmitry Medvedev”. When Clinton stumbled over a name that’s almost impossible for any of us to say, let alone remember correctly, Russert got a satisfied look on his face like a fat, evil baby gleeful of the giant BM it just made in its industrial sized diapers.  After that, Russert hammered Clinton some more, before serving up some of the sugar-coated, velvet-pillow delivered softballs the media consistently gave to Dr. Utopia, calling them “questions”.  ”Do you like wearing expensive suits?”.  ”What’s your favorite kind of kitten?”.  ”How much do you love shopping at Whole Foods?”.

After that debate, Russert said “he’d bagged Clinton like he was reeling in a marlin”, elaborating on the fish metaphor in ways that were crude and misogynist.  He, Chris Matthews, and Keith Olbermann all LOVED that one.

The three of them were the most sick, disgusting, and vile human beings on television in 2008.

We will never forget that.

Ever.

And, as we’ve said many times before about Ted Kennedy and other terrible people, just because Tim Russert is dead doesn’t retroactively make him a good person.  He was a gleeful and zealous misogynist who worked overtime for Dr. Utopia.  If there is indeed a Hell, we hope there was a special place reserved there for him…hopefully in “The Kennedy Wing”.

THAT’S why we don’t like Tim Russert and the networks of NBC, and never, ever will.

Question: Is Parkinsons' Tested for in a Physical?

Posted at March 1, 2010 by HillBuzz // Hillbuzz

In all that garbage left after the Inauguration, can anyone find Mary's medical records?

The White House released a blurb about the current president’s physical, where doctors told him to stop smoking and to start moderating how much he drinks at all those cocktail parties (over 300 so far) that are forever being thrown in “The People’s House” (which, frankly, seems more like Sidetracks by the way these people carry on).

We wonder if Parkinsons’ is tested for in these physicals.

We’ve had physicals before, and the doctors don’t test for everything under the sun, like Parkinsons’, at those things.

But, would someone who has Parkinsons’ be told to quit smoking and stop drinking so damn much?

Anyone with experience or knowledge who can shed some light on this?

Bill Clinton Comic Book Released March 17th, 2010

Posted at March 1, 2010 by HillBuzz // Hillbuzz

The latest in a series of political comics, this one featuring Bill Clinton, with what looks to be an emphasis on his post-presidential works, but including a nice look at how the Clintons met and his early life too.

The comics’s being put out by BlueWater Comics, with a street date of March 17th, 2010.

The art on these “Political Power” comics isn’t all that great, to be honest. The companion series, “Female Force”, did books on both Hillary Clinton and Sarah Palin last year, in addition to other women like J.K. Rowling, Charlaine Harris, Condoleezza Rice, and others.

What do you think of these?
