Great Merciful Zeus: Scott and Ayla Brown challenge Obama to charity basketball game for Haiti relief
This is a brilliant move by Scott Brown on so many fronts.
Dr. Utopia’s propaganda machine is always talking about how much he loves playing basketball. He played “basketball” with Alexi Giannoulias. He’s played “basketball” with his longtime “body man” Reggie Love. Back in Chicago, he played “basketball” with all sorts of men.
No word if he’s ever played “basketball” with his wife, our “fashion icon” First Lady.
Scott Brown really is Hottie McAwesome to put this challenge out there. Just like the challenge the Special Olympics made to Dr. Utopia after he made fun of Special Olympians on the Jay Leno show last year, Dr. Utopia will no doubt decline this competition. If he wasn’t man enough to meet some of the Special Olympians he ridiculed at the White House bowling alley and roll a few gutter balls for the cameras, he is certainly not decent enough to agree to a basketball game for Haitian relief.
That event could conceivable raise millions — if everyone on both sides of the aisle committed to fundraising. We’d certainly do our own part and publicize, publicize, publicize it.
The cult of personality surrounding this president is heavily steeped in “bastketball”. There have been photos of him shooting a hoop, but no footage of an actual, live game, to see how he really plays. Somehow, we don’t think it would be very good.
Scott Brown’s challenge is a wonderful trap — because Brown and his daughter Ayla would cream Dr. Utopia and whatever “basketball buddy” he elects to take the court with him.
Hottie McAwesome is definitely someone to watch going forward…if he keeps pulling stunts like this, which no other Republican has tried…he could have a very big impact.
We wish Sarah Palin had thought to offer this challenge.
Maybe, good sport she is, Palin could volunteer to be on Dr. Utopia’s team…and have it be Brown and Ayla versus Utopia and Palin.
They’d raise millions for charity.
And just think of all that campaign ad footage that would be won as Utopia embarassed himself on the court.

We remember watching Titanic and learning, from Leonardo DiCaprio, of all people, that when a giant ocen liner goes down, it sucks everything floating around it in the water down too. The enormous bulk and weight of that wreck sinking deep into the abys pulls anything close to it down below as well. Whoosh! Glug, glug, glug. Epic fail. Drown.
The Church of Anthropogenic Global Warming is collapsing…even the crooks at East Anglia University in the UK are admitting there has been no warming of temperatures for 15 years. They’ve all been lying this whole time. Conveniently, they keep claiming to have lost their notes and can’t produce any data sets proving their warming claims.
Our chemistry teachers in Catholic school never let us get away with “somebody told me” or “I don’t remember where I heard it” in our lab reports: we never did anything more complicated than form a yellow precipitate from the combination of X and Y solutions, but those nuns were strict, and didn’t accept “I lost the data sets” back in 11th grade.
Apparently, there are no standards whatsoever for “climatology”. The crooks and con men behind the global carbon credit Ponzi scheme are on the ropes, with the BRITISH press exposing more fraud and collusion every day.
Lake Erie is frozen over for the first time in 15 years. Europe’s been pelted with blizzards. Almost every state in the US has record snow fall this year.
All coinciding, we note, with the period of decreased solar activity we’re currently in.
Because, as we learned in Catholic school, THE SUN CONTROLS THE EARTH’S CLIMATE.
We’d love to join a movement demanding Al Gore return his Nobel Prize…while a separate but related movement begins to see what Al Gore can be prosectued for, in terms of his role as Pope in the Church of Anthropogenic Global Warming.
ManBearPig, The Gore-acle, The Dope, whatever you want to call him, has a lot of explaining to do.
Democrats in general have a lot of explaining to do.
The American media has a lot of explaining to do, for not reporting on the collapse of this AGW Church.
Why is that, we wonder?
Why is the American media refusing to report on this story?
It’s because they saw Titanic too. Probably two dozen times (and they still cry every time Jack goes under water).
There’s a very good chance that if the American public realizes how deliberately and aggressively they were conned by Al Gore and the Left with this Anthropogenic Global Warming business, and if the public realizes how much tax dollars were dumped into the hands of the international criminal cabal behind this scheme, the Democrat Party could go down with its Church…and the two will take the American media down with them.
What happens when the public finally, at last, has concrete, hard-evidence that the news networks really ARE controlled by the Leftist in the Democrat Party? What happens when people realize the New York Times and other papers really ARE no different than Izkra and Pravda. It is all propoganda, people. Just as everyone long suspected.
And the collapse of the Church of Anthropogenic Global Warming proves it.
Democrats don’t want this reported because it’s damaging to the party. So, the MSM refuses to report on it. The lot of them are insane to believe this is just going to go away.
We don’t know what it’s going to take to wake America up…because the nation’s been asleep for so long…but it is a slumbering giant to be sure.
And when that giant awakes, when the public finally sees Democrats for what they have become, there is going to be epic Hell to pay.
We don’t see how either Democrats or the MSM get out of this intact.
We really don’t.
Tamyra d'Ippolito Watch Thread
This has become quite the fascinating soap opera. Here’s the latest on Tamyra d’Ippolito, as of 11am CST:
* Tamyra went on Fox & Friends and claims she has enough signatures to get herself on the ballot for Evan Bayh’s Senate seat.
* Tamyra claims Rahm Emanuel and Baron Hill colluded in secret to get Hill enough signatures to be on the ballot too — whereby Bayh supposedly knew he was going to back out of the race weeks ago, but announced he wasn’t running for re-election only yesterday.
* Democrats are going to do everything possible to keep Tamyra off the ballot.
And this gets to a major problem we’ve always had with Democrats, but which we had to ignore for most of our lives because it’s something evil our party has always engaged in: voter fraud, tampering with election, and general hypocrisy when it comes to anything related to elections.
Democrats pull a lot of dirty tricks when it comes to petitions, ballot initiatives, and actual voting.
Most likely, Democrats will challenge Tamyra’s petition signatures, using the DNC’s vast resources to mount challenges someone like Tamyra can’t defend against. That’s what Dr. Utopia did to Alice Palmer and his other opponents in the 1996 state senate race here in Illinois. He challenged all of their petition signatures at the last minute and got them all disqualified from being on the ballot, so he could run unopposed and take the seat. That’s the Chicago way.
When it comes to election day, Democrats don’t want anyone to show an ID, want to allow the dead and imaginary to vote, and will vote for people who don’t show up at the polling place on their own volition.
It’s shameful.
In Chicago, we think international election inspectors, the kind that are used in Latin America and Africa, need to oversee every voting day…it is THAT bad.
And it amazes us that we live in a world where you can access your bank account from just about anywhere and know precisely how much money you have — and that’s a safe and secure system — but voting can’t be done accurately and efficiently. If people can work an ATM properly, and ATMs are secure for transactions, then why don’t we have voting through a system like ATMs that the Chicago machine can’t manipulate?
Why do Democrats use the rules to disqualify candidates they don’t want to run against, but don’t want any rules whatsoever when it’s election day, so that as much fraud as possible can take place?
Why is the Democrat Party the party of Voter Fraud?
Keep your eyes on developments today with d’Ippolito…things could get very interesting.

Question: Can mischief makers really get Tamyra d'Ippolito onto the Democrats' ballot in Indiana?
We wish we were free this morning and could cross the border into Indiana and get some petition signatures for Tamyra d’Ippolito so that Democrats will have to run her to replace Evan Bayh in the Senate this fall.
There is a very encouraging effort being mounted by conservative sites like Ace of Spades to get Tamyra the missing signatures she needs by 12 noon today, so that she qualifies to be the Democrat nominee for the Senate. Bayh’s announcement was timed to that party insiders could pick his replacement in a caucus they could control — thereby taking the choice away from voters in Indiana.
Tamyra needs 4,500 signatures to land on the ballot — 500 in each of 9 congressional districts. She claims she’s 1,000 or so short.
If Ace and the others could find just 200 people in all of Indiana who would be willing to help get signatures for Tamyra and take them to the county registrar’s offices by 12 noon, each of those people would just need to get 5 signatures a piece to make this happen.
We hope the GOP is mobilizing mischief makers across the state to do this too. If they don’t, then they really are the Party of Stupid.
Tamyra d’Ippolito is a once-in-a-lifetime gift. If she gets enough signatures and earns that spot on the ballot, she’s the Democrats’ nominee, and she will very easily be defeated in November.
This is a great chance for independents, moderates, and conservatives to work together on the ground and stick it to the Left the way Leftists have always been so effective at hitting Republicans with little efforts like this.
If you are in Indiana, download this PDF of the petition to put Tamyra on the ballot and get as many Indianans as you can to sign it…then get it to the proper County Voter Registration Office by 12 noon today.
It’s daunting we only have a few hours to pull this off, but it would be amazing if this effort actually worked.

Thanks to readers for reminding us that today is “Paczki Day” here in Chicago.
Years ago, a woman one of us worked with went on and on (and on) about “Paczki Day” for weeks, leading up to Mardi Gras. ”Just wait until you try the paczki. I’m going to the Polish bakery and I am going to get them. They are delicious and you have never had anything like them. I’m Polish. What nationality are you?”.
American.
And paczki are just jelly donuts.
They are no better or worse than any jelly donuts you have ever had on days that are not Paczki Day. They taste like the donuts bakeries make any day of the week. Better than Dunkin’ Donuts, but certainly not worthy of weeks of going on and on and on about.
People we know from Poland have never even heard of “Paczki Day”, which is interesting. When we told them about this woman going on and on about this they had no idea what she was talking about…the same way that people in Ireland have no idea what corn beef and cabbage and green beer are. ”Why are you eating that?”, they ask, because they don’t have that in Ireland. It’s something cartoonishly “ethnic” made up in America, by people like the woman we worked with who want to celebrate their “nationality” on certain days of the year.
Chicago is a very nationality-obsessed town. Why that is, we don’t know, but we think all of this comes at the expense of celebrating America, which is what we should all be doing every day. If Poland was so wonderful, then why did so many Polish people leave there and move here? The same for Ireland, England, France, China, Botswana, or whatever other country you want to celebrate. Why ever would people leave those utopias and come here, if things were so great there?
We’ve never felt any urge to look back to Europe for anything. Europe had its time, and Europe destroyed itself. There are many nice people in Europe we are friends with, but we don’t want to do anything they tell us to do, or that they do themselves. We don’t want to participate in any “Days”, Paczki or otherwise.
Especially not when they’re competing against an American holiday, in the form of Mardi Gras.
We will be celebrating New Orleans today, wearing green, purple, and gold, eating red beans and rice and gumbo and possibly having a hurricane or two at some point in the night.
And with summer coming, we sure don’t need any jelly donuts.
