The reason Sarah Palin will be President in 2012, distilled in one picture

Posted at February 7, 2010 by HillBuzz // Hillbuzz

Great Merciful Zeus, we love that she did this.

Hi Mom.

That’s what Sarah Palin wrote on her hand today, technically, before speaking at a campaign rally for Rick Perry in Texas.

“Hi Mom” can also be loosely translated as “F-U, Lefties”.

Here’s what Sarah Palin did today, and why it’s not only brilliant, but it’s the chief reason this woman will be our 45th President.

She hit the Left back, in a subtle way that drives them crazy.  THAT, friends, is quite an art form.  We respect everyone alive who practices this sort of Fu.

Palin knew the Left, particularly the Huffington Post, has been trying to create an issue of several words Palin wrote on her hand before the Tea Party Convention speech yesterday:  Energy, Taxes, American Spirit.

We do this too, FYI, whenever we have to do any public speaking, since we don’t usually take notecards with us or have a podium in front of us.  We just write down a few key words, on our palm, so that we cover the three or four things we really wanted to talk about…lest we miss one of them.  Unlike the current president, we don’t have a TelePrompTer traveling with us everywhere we go.  Neither does Palin.

We hope Palin makes the “Hi Mom” thing a regular inside-joke.

The Huffalumps tried to make an issue of her palm-notes…and obsessed over staring at pictures of them yesterday…so Palin sent them a message today, letting them know she’s aware they are scrutinizing her palms…so she might as well send her Mom a message.

Those of you who met Mrs. Heath on Palin’s book tour have told us she’s a VERY nice woman (Mr. Heath too)…so we say “Hi Sarah’s Mom” today too.

Palin is quick with responses to the lunatics on the Left, which is remarkable.  She gets in front of a story before it becomes an issue.  She hits back hard when needed, but can use more subtle smacks when those are more appropriate.

We think she effectively disarmed this issue, in a humorous, fun way that’s relatable to average Americans.

Her ninja throwing star Facebook dispatches are well-crafted and deadly to her opponents.

Today, she proved her more subtle hits can be just as effective.

This woman has all the skills she needs to become President in two years.

All that’s missing is her ground team…of which we, and hopefully YOU, will surely be a part.

Go, Sarah, Go!

H/t Mizz Jodee

Whoo-hoo dat!

Posted at February 7, 2010 by HillBuzz // Hillbuzz

Congratulations to the Saints…and to the people of New Orleans.

We’d sure ’nuff love to be in the French Quarter tonight.

But, we’ll settle for beignets here at Buzzquarters…what a great way to start Mardi Gras.

Much love from Boystown to our second favorite city in the world…which really needed a win.

Live it up tonight, Big Easy.

Any interest in a Purple Team?

Posted at February 7, 2010 by HillBuzz // Hillbuzz

Sarah Palin today gave the clearest sign yet that she is, as we believe, running for President in 2012.  She was asked if she would consider running in 2012, and she said “I would”.

In 2007, when Hillary Clinton started running for President, it never occurred to us to start a website.  We just emailed strategy ideas and thoughts on politics to our friends.  There were a lot of things we wish the Clinton campaign had done in those early days, in the leadup to the Iowa Caucus.  If we had everything to do over again, we wish we had started this site in 2006 and had a full two years before the Caucus to build a grassroots ground team for Hillary.

We think we could have taken out John Edwards before the Caucus if we existed back then.  The National Enquirer was talking about his affair and love child, but the MSM was not giving this any attention.  If only there had been a grassroots effort to expose Edwards, Clinton would have won the Iowa Caucus (since Edwards was the DNC’s spoiler in the race, designed to hand the Caucus to Dr. Utopia and set up his nomination).

So, here we are in 2010.

We know the DNC is already working on its 2012 plans to game the Iowa Caucus and hand a win to someone like Tim Pawlenty, Mitt Romney, John Thune, or John Huntsman.  The DNC does not want Palin to win the Caucus.  Organizing for America will use ACORN, the SEIU, the Black Panthers, and every other Soros-funded shadow organization to force the GOP to pick whichever Republican the DNC wants Dr. Utopia to run against.

More than that, we believe the true plan for Dr. Utopia’s second term is the creation of a third party candidate designed to steal votes away from the Republican opponent, so that Dr. Utopia squeaks by with a slight victory.  All of you who talk about third party nonsense contribute to this possibility.  It is close to being a kind of mental illness.  When you vote third party in a presidential election, you hand a victory to the candidate you most want to lose.  It is ridiculous, suicidal, masochist, and painfully obvious.

The DNC hopes to use the Tea Party Movement to create a Ross Perot/Ralph Nader style spoiler for 2012. Their plan has already begun. The constant MSM usage of the word “polarizing” in relation to Sarah Palin is part of this plan.  The troll efforts to drive a wedge between Hillary and Sarah supporters, on the uptick the last few days, is also part of this.

We can’t wait for a Palin 2012 national campaign structure to organize.  We can’t trust the GOP to effectively counter the DNC’s attacks, since it’s never been able to do that in the past.

We want to create a Purple Team here at HillBuzz that will have a daily Action Item in the research, outreach, and organizing capacity that will counter the Third Party scheme the DNC is cooking, that will eliminate the word “polarizing” as an effective weapon against Palin, and will focus on how to stop the Utopia re-election campaign from gaming the Republican nominating process to select the candidate they want Dr. Utopia to run against.

We’ve never attempted anything like this before, but will approach it the way we wished we had approached the Clinton ’08 campaign: we’ll essentially say, every day, what we want a Palin 2012 campaign to be doing right now, in 2010, to make sure the DNC does not take her down before she has the chance to run.

We will use everything we learned in 2007-2008 to stop Utopia from repeating the past.  As it appears to be the destiny of this particular effeminate, biracial, elitist to forever go up against strong, “polarizing”, AWESOME women we admire, we hope you will help us form a Purple Team here at HillBuzz to smash the glass ceiling to the ground in two years.

Question: Why is Harold Ford Jr. a top search term today?

Posted at February 7, 2010 by HillBuzz // Hillbuzz

Here’s a mystery for you: why is Harold Ford Jr. being talked about so much today?

We’ve noticed an unusual surge of people coming to us off Google searches for Harold Ford Jr. this Sunday…five or six times as much as on a normal day.

Why’s he making news this Sunday…is something up with him we don’t know about?

Question: How do we eliminate the word "polarizing" as a weapon used against female candidates?

Posted at February 7, 2010 by HillBuzz // Hillbuzz

H/t Katie

We have less than two years to eliminate the use of the word “polarizing” as an attack against female candidates.

This has been the primary MSM-approved first attack against Hillary Clinton for almost 20 years now.  It was the first thing out of people’s mouths when we campaigned for Clinton in Iowa in 2007, leading up to the Caucus.  ”She’s so polarizing”, people would parrot.  When pressed as to what they meant, they’d hem and haw, drool a little, and occasionally admit, with the candor of children, “Well, the TV said it, and I listen to the TV”.

Honestly — a man in Clinton, Iowa, of all places, ironically enough, really did say that.  It was stunning.  ”The TV said it” is a lot more common than you’d think.  Especially in Iowa.  Just wait for the HillBuzz book — there’s a whole chapter on Iowa and all the inane things that we encountered there.  The “polarizing MSM-propaganda regurgitations” are just the tip of the iceberg…where “iceberg” is a stand in for “colossal pile of nonsense”.

Sarah Palin is running for president, people.  If there’s any luck in the world, Hillary Clinton will be running in 2012 as well.  The same “polarizing” garbage will be used against both of them.  In the worst, and most bizarre, scenario, where neither runs in 2012, the “polarizing” garbage will be used against the next woman to run for president — whether that’s Michelle Bachmann, Liz Cheney, Lynn Forester de Rothschild, Condoleezza Rice, or whomever else you can imagine.

“Polarizing” should be as unacceptable an adjective to use against a female candidate as “faggy” is to use against a gay man, or “negro” is against a black candidate.

We need to think of a way to take this word away from the MSM, so it becomes a fireable offense at the networks and newsrooms whenever it is used…just as “faggy” and “negro” would be.

One of the things we try to communicate to all of you is just how important words are to branding.  Words have great power.  The MSM has invested heavily in the term “polarizing”…it is the billion dollar stealth bomber in an arsenal, used whenever a woman needs to be taken down and “taught her place”.  It is employed against Democrats and Republicans alike, but only against the people the Left doesn’t like (such as Hillary and Sarah Palin).  It is never, ever used against Leftist figures.  Just try to find an instance where someone like Michelle Obama, Bernadine Dohrn, Cindy Sheehan, Janeane Garafolo, and other Leftists are called “polarizing”. If it’s happened, we’ve never seen it.

Similar to what we tried to do for Scott Brown in removing the Cosmo pics as a weapon the Left could use against him, we’d like to take the word “polarizing” from them, so that it can’t be used against Sarah Palin’s 2012 presidential run.

We have two ideas on how we can achieve this:

(1) Start calling every Leftist female “polarizing”, every day, so that the word is over-saturated in the public’s mind, and it loses all meaning…since the lines between conservatives, moderates, and leftists will have been blurred to the extent that every female is “polarizing”

(2) Extend the use of the word “polarizing” to men, animals, inanimate objects, cities, tissue paper, and various vegetables too.  Call everything under the sun “polarizing”.  Just like the word “genius”, which lost all meaning in the 80s when everyone’s child was declared a genius in some way, calling everything on Earth “polarizing” for the next two years will mean that by 2012, nothing will be polarizing any more.

We’re trying to think of a third scenario where Sarah Palin just comes out and embraces the word “polarizing” and turns it into a good thing.  Maybe you can help with that.

What we want to achieve is this:  in December of 2011, when we are on the ground in Iowa campaigning for Palin in Dubuque, Des Moines, or wherever, we want to knock on doors and NOT have the residents say, “Oh, she’s too polarizing, I can’t vote for her” and close the door in our faces.  It would be ideal if we could somehow turn this whole thing around and have them say, “Oh, I can’t wait to vote for that polarizing woman.  You look cold dear, have some of these polarizing cookies I just baked, with a steaming hot cup of polarizing tea to go with it.  And don’t mind that polarizing dog of ours, God love her, she’s just so polarizing, but doesn’t mean any harm.  Scratch her polarizing ears and you’ll be her polarizing friend for life.  Polarizing”.

There’s enough time to achieve this, but we need a game plan. We want to do the same thing to the word “racist” as well…to permanently take that away from the Left as its favorite weapon of choice to hit anyone who does not agree with them.

There is a way to take both of these words away from them, and it’s our job to find it.

What think you?

Troll Dissection 101: Hillary Clinton vs. Sarah Palin Edition

Posted at February 7, 2010 by HillBuzz // Hillbuzz

Here’s a troll dropping from someone named “Judith” that falls into a category we call “Hillary vs. Sarah”, in which trolls try vainly to drive a wedge between supporters of Hillary Clinton and Sarah Palin.  We believe the fact so many Hillary Dems love Palin keeps many at the DNC wide awake at night.  Constantly, trolls try to alienate Clinton supporters from Palin.  It’s so obvious, it’s hilarious, actually.  Of all the varietals of troll out there, the “Judith” Hillary vs. Palin trolls are the most transparent and sloppy.

Here’s “Judith’s” comment below.  See if you can dissect her remarks yourself, before clicking on “more” to read our breakdown:

I haven’t visited this site regularly (until today) and so there’s surely some history I’m missing. I like Sarah Palin and I’m glad everyone on this site does too, but I’m just curious. I wouldn’t think that Palin’s policies and political philosophy would be that attractive to people who supported Hillary Clinton.

I’ve got to tell you, I would never have supported Mrs. Clinton. (again, as I noted in another comment – I was appalled by what was done to Mrs. Clinton in the primaries. I didn’t think sexism was that big of a deal until I saw it practiced by the Left.) Also, I’m glad to be a comrade in arms with moderates, independents, etc., to kick out the Leftists.

So – and I don’t mean this at all sarcastically or snarkily – those of you who consider yourselves supporters of both Mrs. Clinton & Mrs. Palin – can you tell me how you view their disparate policy positions and how you support (or would support) both?

Photoshop Challenge: Church of Anthropogenic Global Warming Edition

Posted at February 7, 2010 by HillBuzz // Hillbuzz

Here’s something we’d love photoshopped: an image we can use whenever we talk about the Church of Anthropogenic Global Warming collapsing.

What we picture is a large cathedral in ruins, like those in WWII Germany.

Al Gore can be dressed up like a Pope.

We need something to signify all the emails leaked that reveal the deceptions used to create all the junk science behind the cult…as well as all the sheeple that fell for this madness.

Maybe a reference to the Hopenchangen Conference too.

Whatever the image is, we’d like to use it for the next several years without having to update it much, so everything in it has to be easily understood by someone two years from now who won’t remember everything about the current Climategate scandal.

But, the essence of what we want to convey is that Al Gore and his followers created a cult that damn near destroyed the economies of the West, but this pyramid scheme of carbon footprint offsets and adulteration of science has collapsed…like a huge temple to false gods rendered into ruin by a great earthquake…or a cathedral built from indulgences and graft taken down by the pummeling of truth.

The more visuals created for stuff like this, the more impact it all carries. We write a lot of essays on the subject, but the ones that really seem to resonate with people are those that have great illustrations accompanying them.

We’ll continue to churn out the content, but we’d love creative types to help us distill our messages into visuals casual readers and the general public can appreciate on many levels of understanding.
